what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Hi . Well I have lots of problems by trading altcoins and exchanging . For example if I would like to get some profit and I bought that coin for a low price , that coin can go more less and stay at same price for weeks , even months . But trading is not like gambling , you are not going to lose all :) just a bit from your funds , but also the price can grow up and get some profit
Also you need to be careful before exchanging , there are lots of sites who have big fees for exchange

The biggest problem that I'm experiencing in crypto trading is I'm becoming greedy. I usually not sell when I see the price pumping and that's making me miss a lot of profit. Because I don't have an idea on when it's going to pump and dump and if I sell sometimes it's already late but that is before and now no more regrets, profits is profit upon selling.

If you are looking for quick profits these things will happen, you must have a laid back character while trading and if you are entering the coin at a decent price then you have to wait for a longer period than to sell at a loss because these coins will climb up at a later time,i never encountered a loss while trading because i make sure that i will not sell at a loss.

My biggest problem is going to have to be managing emotions, it's been something that I've had issues with for awhile when it comes to my money. It's tough for me to see losses and I try to minimze them and fall into the shitty trade trap of buying high and selling low, which is someting that a lot of others do when they're trading as well. I miss the boat on a lot of good trades and it really fuckes me up when I notice what could've been out of all of this. Another one of the minor issues I had was accounting for the exchange fee which is bound to be there, you're going to have to notice stuff like this to be able to be a good trade, handling emotions and allowing yourself to lose a little with the chance to win  out on a lot is also FUCKING VITAL. There ya are bud, good luck!

Actually this is the common problem regarding about trading coins. Most people tend to sell their coin whenever they see that the price is falling which is wrong since not all coin's price go down constantly since most of them eventually regain their price and even go higher but the most important thing is that you do your research before buying and selling to know the cause why price changes.

I guess it's the fact that a lot of payment processors has outrageous spreads. For example, paypal. If you want to buyp bitcoin with paypal then you should obviously be expecting to pay like 5-10% over spot price for these bitcoins. If you want to sell your bitcoin for a trusted person's paypal though, you'll probably only be getting like 5% less paypal than spot price USD.

And also, strict KYC rules on certain exchanges. They want you to even provide proof of where the funds came from which is quite outrageous at least to me. If you want to go anonymous, again expect to pay a premium.

Mine is my lack of knowledge on trading. I also let my emotion decide when I ma panick buying or selling so my profit is not that good. I often follow what's the highest volume trading on an exchange and buy it and sell it after it rise a bit or sell it immediately when I see it drop. I'm still working on it and I hope I'd learn proper trading because I really want to make a stable income from it.

Patience. Sometimes I find it difficult to be patient when the price of an alt coin is so close to my buy/sell target price, but not quite there yet. I force myself to be patient, but it's not easy.

the biggest challenge which i think most people would agree about is reliability of that platform which you are using to trade.

we all know the hacks and the risks of one of these exchanges either get hacked or scam and say they were hacked. and that is why it will always be a huge risk and a headache to keep coins on exchanges for simple trading.

the other problem about not being reliable is the fact that these exchanges go down, slow down, ... during high traffic. we have already seen this one too. many times. you want to sell when you notice a dump but the exchange becomes non-responsive and you lose money because of it! and this happens to big exchanges like poloniex, coinbase, ...

Lol. Many people are having the same problem as you dude and i think sometimes i do the same. Though most of the time i manage to be relaxed with my trades, even opting to hold for an extended time if my alts haven't yet made any profits. There are a lot of people also indicating they are having problems with the site they're using like transactions being slow or fees being too high though for me, i've been using polo most of the time, i haven't yet encountered any issues with that platform.

My personal problem with trading is that I have to grant an entity other than myself total control over my coins. It means that from there I need them to keep functioning properly, to not get hacked, to not have one employee perform an inside theft, etc. That's why I always withdraw everything back to my own wallet once I am done trading. The only thing that I am not withdrawing is fiat, but I understand what risks I expose myself to, and I accept these risks to the full. My main priority is always making sure that my coins are securely stored under my own control when I am not trading.

The major problem for me in trading is to find the right time for selling/buying, sometimes I sold my coins too early without thinking about the future of that coin, similarly bought some coins very lately where I could have made a great profit but now I have to adjust with a normal profit or equal cashout.

This thing is the most common problem on most trader on which its hard to execute trades either on long or short because its really hard to determine if we are on the right spot to make such action.Among on this kind of problem the thing that I do hate is the fees specially when you are a day trader/active trader which you would surely feel what I mean but still okay for me as long I do have bulk profits in the end of the day. Fees wont really much in doubt.

You itself knew that you don't have a perfect understanding about the market. So directly don't get into the trading. Learn about the do's and don'ts of bitcoin and altcoins trading. Gradually start with a smaller amount and this will make things better when you go on further trading.

I also suffers on the same problem you experiencing. We are people so it is normal for us to have a bad decision in life. Like you i become greedy in the point that when the price of bitcoin sudden changes or developed there comes the time I do panic selling where all my funds can be set aside on selling. But i can also happened on vice versa when the price dump in tend to sell to not loose more but it happens there more loose that may happened if you will do it.

the biggest problem that i made is when i am new in trading, in that time, i became a panic trader and when i see the price is down a little, i made a cut loss my coins so in the end my balance is reduce. the other problem is i am not selling when the price is getting pump but i make an order sell too higher than the pump so my coins is not sold at that time and it makes me to wait for a while although after the pump, the price is increase until my order sell is fill. i am still trying to handle this and i am sure that i can solve this with easy in future.

The biggest problem I have is that it seems like it would be a tax nightmare - so I don't do it.

Honestly I don't consider it a problem - I HODL tight to put off having to deal with that.  It's worked well for me so far!

The biggest problem I have experienced so far with trading/exchanging is when the exchange all my money was on (forget the name, it was a smaller one) closed down and the owner stole everyone's Bitcoins. Boy, did some people lose a lots of money. I think I lost something like $200, so it wasn't all that bad, could have been a lto worse if it happened a couple weeks before that when I had over $1,000 on there. Oh well, live and learn. Paper wallet.

You are a panic seller and I am a panic buyer, when I see a coin's price rising I am just too tempted and buy the coin later I realize that was a temporary bump and have to sell them at a cheaper price. For panic sellers you can easily control that but what do I do ?

I mean how can I know what's the best time to buy a coin, about selling I can just set my targets and then sell them once that price hits.

Basically my biggest problem is the ability to trade coins on desired platform. I mean there are some coins which I love and would like to trade all day but basically due to them being only listed on low grade exchanges I am unable to do that.

If the same coins hit poloniex or c-cex their value would be worth 100 times more. But unfortunately this can't be helped and we have to trade only coins listed there.

Yep, it’s always more safer to enter crypto market with small investments. Being new to crypto trading, it is an act of stupidity to start buying and selling with large values. Furthermore, we should have sound knowledge about market fluctuations and strategies to deal with unfavorable circumstances.

As discussed earlier, many people face severe problems in handling emotions. Never let your emotions overpower your mind. Trading is a slow process of making massive profits but it demands patience and courage.

you will never find a right time to sell or buy in trading lol.
if so then trading is predictable and nothing good happened when it is preadictable , it could be chaos.
at least you have done an effort to predict the price until it is close to the accurate.

I have two major problems currently with trading:

1. Lack of local traders, existing ones have spreads of upwards to 10%
2. Verification process is way too extensive and unnecessary at most licensed exchanges

In a sense, these two problems are all the same problem that can be solved by more people actively trading bitcoin p2p, and reducing the spread. Then, people have an alternative to using a centralized exchange. We have seen this in China when the KYC laws became real strict, people switched to p2p almost immediately and localbitcoins volume in china is booming like crazy.

Yes though holding coins for a longer time is only worth with reputed coins like obviously bitcoins and a few more : ethereum doge, dash and litecoins apart from these and a few more, it's really almost like gambling keeping more than a few bucks.
But the problem is that these stable coins hardly have any big swings to trade with and hence we have to takew risk with the newer coins.

Hackers and scammers. I'm fairly paranoid so I'm ok but it really prevents the average person from WANTING to engage in any legitimate trade. Its unfortunate because bitcoins irreversibility and anonymity is a feature.

Monitoring. Monitoring is the thing which usually lacks when you talk about the beginners.

Firstly, they don’t learn the trading properly. In fact they don’t even know the basics of it still they start trading bitcoins. Secondly, you have to keep looking into the market. The exchange rates of crypto currencies. Wait  for the better time to do both buying and selling.

Continuously watching market will eliminate more than 50% of complications of trading and exchanging. Monitoring will give us latest updates with less efforts of studying them. Instead of going for separate class for gaining knowledge on trading, just monitoring will help better.

Some basic problem can be hacking exchange account or wallet maybe, sometimes more then slow confirmation, expectantly on some exchanges now. Lack of support for some exchanges (not gonna names then).

But besides this obvious problems we have some other that can be mentioned: acceptability issue, legitimacy and maybe regulatory issue.

Ouch i can imagine the anxiety you felt there. What exchange site would this be? This hasn't happened to be yet though i've thought about this scenario a lot of times already and i'm nit sure as well about what to do if it happened to me. I'm currently trading on three exchanges, yobit polo and bittrex and so far, i haven't had the misfortunte of that happening to me

The biggest problem I had before is having trouble looking for coins to invest into, considering there are already more than a thousand of them.

However, when I started doing research and learned how to do technical and fundamental analysis, that's the time I gained confidence in crypto trading. Know the value of the coin first before investing to it.

If you need more tips and strategies in trading, I have sent you a private message. I hope you find time reading it. Thanks!

Yeah , everyone have big challenge in this field , The all types of the challenge are mostly similar  .
The most usual problem is to predict about a particular coin and invest in them at a particular amount .
Since not everyone facing the same problem everytime because many of the old experienced trader are much powerful
To make prediction and can easily invest the better amount and I also always follow them because I don't have much idea
To make prediction , so best thing is that follow your senior in this field instead to do everything own self  .
So probably such type of the condition are in minor in my trading job of altcoin and Bitcoin trading 8)

The biggest problem i have with trading is SCAMCOIN. There are many altcoins out there and we wont know which one will scam us. Although its our duty to research a coin thoroughly and only then invest in it but some times i dont do that and thats why i lost my stake once when i invested in a coin called ACRN which i bought from yobit. It scammed me the next day itself and i decided from that day onwards that i ll make sure not to invest in such coins. So better do a research on a coin before investing in it.

To me, I have no problem with trading in crypto currency because I know very well that trading is all about following your trading strategies. It is advisable to have a workin trading strategy and money management rule. I have a strategy that work for me in trading and i follow my money management rule so even if I make lose, at the end of the day my profit usually outweigh the lose.

Its not just patience that is problem, also is slow response from exchanges when big money is involved, I mean on this when some coin is gain price rise all want in then when you come to this price went double or triple. This is problem with all exchanges especially with big ones.

Its not just patience that is problem, also is slow response from exchanges when big money is involved, I mean on this when some coin is gain price rise all want in then when you come to this price went double or triple. This is problem with all exchanges especially with big ones.

With masses of volume and everyday request, it's hard for exchanges to deal with their customer everyday. Plus include that some of the tickets needs further investigations which will take lots of checkings and verifications.

Because there is no law about that, we don't have a choice but to deal with that. If all exchanges will be strongly be centralized I think there will be changes since goverment will now have some actions for that slow response from the exchanges. But the downside, we don't want goverment to make a role here.

What is it then OP your challenges? I think every body could face a similar challenge which is exchanges manipulating the markets, they have huge stakes  in every single coin that forces them into using manipulation methods to earn the most out of our pockets.

I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.
That’s really smart, mate. I appreciate that you are taking crypto trading as a business not gambling and have devised a proper strategy for staying safe in the crypto land. Trading with bitcoins is never an issue until and unless you are having a good strategy for e.g. holding onto coins when prices are low and selling them off when prices are high. Keeping calm when prices are pumping needs some courage which usually investors lack and end up with loss.

I think the biggest problem is Command matching, when you see an order that will profit you, you will need a good command matching platform to make sure that you have profit on that tranding turn.

Maybe I'm not an old trader and so little experience I trade altcoin but I study everyday and read here and there to add my knowledge about being a great trader. my biggest problem is fear, the fear I often face is panic and confusion
Because every time I run out buy a few coins, the coins that I buy does not show up will tend to fall even more it makes me panic

This decrease in values should not be treated as a problem. Like a smart trader; look at it as an opportunity of buying more bitcoins.  Just keep one simple thing in mind that every dump is followed by a strong pump. This will help you to stay calm under such circumstances. Besides believe in your bitcoins. They won’t disappoint you ever.

Yes your point is right but it is not true mean to buy or earn bitcoin. The true mean is buy bitcoin by your money or you can earn it through some work. Manipulating different methods to get bitcoin is also best way to get it and one more thing is bitcoin can manipulate many currencies.

These Are Troubles/Problems I have in Trading:
1. Worrying about the exchange where I keep my funds. I hope nothing bad happen. But...
2. Not really trouble but is a bit a hard part finding, researching the coins with good potential and max profit.
3. Whales that suddenly dump their coins tanking the price.
4. Noobs that get panic making the price lower.
5. High btc transaction price.
6. Slow BTC confirmation.
7. Shitty exchanges.
8. Shillers while I'm not done accumulating.
9. Traders who put big sell walls.

The biggest problem I had with trading crypto is when xrp/ripple was pumping and the exchange site crashed so it was so hard to put sell order and then after a couple of minutes it dumped. I lost big amount of money that time.

Ouch i can imagine the anxiety you felt there. What exchange site would this be? This hasn't happened to be yet though i've thought about this scenario a lot of times already and i'm nit sure as well about what to do if it happened to me. I'm currently trading on three exchanges, yobit polo and bittrex and so far, i haven't had the misfortunte of that happening to me
Your selection of trading sites is good and prudent. Bittrex and Polo are two of the most trustworthy trading exchanges. It’s great that you have never met any misfortune yet. You must have good control of emotions and sound knowledge of trading. May you never face any misfortune!

Transaction speed is something that we all want to eat out PC. For how many times you/me/he/she wanted to sell then price went down and we want sell at the moment.
I know that is hard but what could it bee if one time only we could sell some coin at the moment price before fall. Who will then benifit from it seller or buyer.

For big trading is something really hard to decide what to do i try to avoid this as much as possible cuz i have some bad experience few coin that went high ended up missing. So i use small investment with small profit. After my experience i chose to play safe minimum investment with minimum profit working great so far.

My biggest problem is my emotions, When my coins value is starting to meltdown, im really scared if i might not get my profit. But the key is to wait. So what i did for that situation is, I invest in building my mining rig so i can have passive income while taking some job in campaigns, Mining rig will help, But not that much. It will only cover some of your'e expenses while waiting for your coins to rise the currency.

The biggest problem facing me with trading in all exchanges bittrex\polo ..etc  , when i was following long term plan ex i buy from stable market for almost 2-3 month when going red then sell higher  2x at least also with no problem if i wait for one year ahead but suddenly found that market decreased with time being even get 10 x lower so better to stay in short term only buy low and sell a little high . acknowledged from experience .

My biggest problem is only one, patience. I have been lost almost 40% from my money because can't control my emotion. When the price falling down, I should see graphic price chart not sell all my coins. But it's too late, after I sell it the price comes up again. This time I try to control my self-becomes patience people, hope will happen soon. Good luck.

That's my main problem too when I buy a good altcoin with cheap price, I can't wait for it to be more valuable. I instantly sell it out again and get back to bitcoin.

I think you're a bit excited to have a profit brother?
In  first place when you bought coins you should know whether its for long term or short term.
And dont be too hurry to profit or else you'll end up panicking and you cant think right as many thoughts are running in your mind. Good things happen to those who patiently wait.

Well for me it would be the maintenance on altcoin addresses. It always happen on yobit when I'm doing an arbitrage and I know it's intentional. When I see a coin that has a different value but then when you are on the move to transfer the coin then you found out it's not available to deposit. It's very frustratingt that it also happens in polo and coinexchange.

Happened to me also in yobit and until now haven't made any deals with yobit anymore. Poloniex for me is a very common site and i just traded 0.05 btc in there. My biggest frustration would be just missing out the suppose to be biggest deal in eth but i went to the bathroom for an hour and when I came back the price had just fallen fact and i hoped it would return to 380 price but it did not. I ended up selling it to 290$.

This is why trading needs to be more cautious, There are also some terms that are called to traders like this who buys for now and hold it for how many weeks or even months, I think they are called long term trader, correct me if I am wrong? well because this is what I am doing too because I cannot look at the chart every time due to schedule problems so this is the only way I am trading .

It'll be a while. Once atomic cross-chain swaps become tenable, a lot of altcoin/BTC trading can be taken off centralized exchanges. I can't wait for that. I lost some alts (fiat as well) on BTC-e. It was always the best litecoin exchange. Live and learn. :-\

So I'm with you...... but I wonder how many years out we are from a decentralized exchange with good enough liquidity and fast enough trading engine to compete with centralized exchanges.

Have many typte trading and your mean is type trader week or month, but they not as holder for create a target and waiting it. Why I say they not as holder? Because they have some contingency plans when the price of altcoin they bought drop down to lowest price, as cut loss and buy back or accept this loss and minimize.

I think the biggest problem is unnecessary price fluctuations due to the activities of pump and dump group. Though many people see this as a great advantage but I do see this as problems as manipulations is not healthy to coin market. The one tip I can give you is sell high buy low. Maybe you have read this but I'm gonna tell you when. AT THE PEAK and AT THE BOTTOM.

Hope I helped you. Happy trading and more wealth to come.

My biggest problem is that I tend to buy high and sell low... For some reason no matter what I do the result is always the same, I end up worse than if I just waited long and when I do wait it just continues down (or up if I already sold).

I will suggest you taking fluctuations as an advantage than a flaw. Fluctuations ultimately lead to the buying and selling process which otherwise people would have seldom sold their coins. As far as your exchange problem is concerned, shift to some good exchange like bittrex, poloneix etc.

And because of that I have lost a lot of money .
Yes this is true, I already experienced panic selling. When my first time in trading, I don't have no idea how to do trade my coins to other crypto-currency, and this is my big problem. Since I have no idea on how to trade, so the other problem is I have no idea which exchanger is legit and have a good price. That time I need a money so instead of studying of trading I make a request to my friend to trade my coins even the price is low because of financial needs.

I think this is a mistake in your strategy, when I buy a major coins I know that I’m going to hold for months or years and I will get out when I think the price is way up and then wait for the price to come down it is a simple strategy but it works, but when I buy an altcoin that is relatively new, I’m ready to sell at any moment and grab whatever profits that I may get.

Current problems are that btc-e is down and poloniex is having bad times with several coin, users are not happy with this.
So mainly problem are exchanges overall, hard is to find good one. And what then to keep them on exchange or to keep them on wallets.

This is individual decision. But before this speed and key factor on exchanges, lack of speed and transaction confirmations.

it's not just that it's hard to find a good one; it's that none of them are good. they all have major drawbacks. btc-e was probably the best exchange for trading engine/API and features via metatrader. but now the FBI is after them, so there goes that.

meanwhile, coinbase API is unusable half the time. the site (or individual markets) go down constantly when any volatility occurs. i'm really disappointed with the "regulated" options. why are they so much more illiquid, with worse trading interfaces and features?

Another problem for many traders was that coinbase refused to give them their BCH and now has agreed to do so but until next year, if there were doubts that we needed decentralized exchanges I think this should erase those doubts, we need decentralized exchanges as soon as we can or we are going to be held hostage by the bad service of centralized exchanges.

I think when I bought a coins at the expensive price then after a days past its all of sudden dropped the price of that coins, I didn't know that when I buy, it was pumped only. Then I didn't take back my capital I sell it with  a cheap value price.

I think it is not wise decision to buy them at when the price of altcoin is pumping because sometimes suddenly the price of altcoin will fall down. So it is not good in trading and at the same time, you also need to have a lot of patience in selling those coin for a higher price.

I guess it would be when regretting the decision right after selling when the price suddenly shoots up. This is why sometimes, I don't like checking the price after I make an exchange because it makes me feel bad when I see that the price has gone significantly higher, and I could have gotten more had I waited a little longer. It's really hard to find the right timing, and I guess in the world of trading and exchanging, you are just bound to win some or lose some!

I lost a little money with trading due to the facts

1) I am in hurry : watching the price every hours to see if am making money
2) I make confusion with trading fees: I forgot to take the fees in consideration
3) not even sure if I am making money with a bitcoin price changing every minute

So at the end, if I am looking to make money, I think it's better (at least in my case lol) to just keep holding my bitcoins (since the value keep increasing) without getting the troubles to think about this and that and avoid the stress.

Lack of knowledge is the biggest problem I have faced and most of the people faces. When there is a lack of knowledge then emotion comes to play we buy at high and sell at low ,we can't overcome the panic situation and ended up losing.

Yes! In trading you can’t win all the time. No matter how smart you are, you are bound to lose. Indeed you are not always lucky enough to figure out the right time of selling coins, but by setting up some targets and after achieving them, you could be satisfied. So always have some target for your coins.

Well i hate the name of altcoins addresses they required many things and many verification so what does it mean by anonymous currency i would like to say a big no to altcoin. My first and last priority is bitcoin and it will be because it can be create easily and can be transfer easily without any verification and after segwet2x I'm very happy because of that as well.

Where and what kind of verification you are talking about ? I heard some new projects are asking documents even we try to invest with their ICO. I underrated it is kind of breach on basics of crypto world anonymity protections. Still I too do not understand why people go for that.

It is always good to have bitcoins for holding as well for trading as it comes with less hassles. We can enjoy our freedom always with bitcoin.

This is something not many people get to understand, you are not going to win every trade that is impossible in life sometimes you are going to win and sometimes you are going to lose that is the way things work, as long as you win 55% of your trades then you are going to get some profits when you trade if you can push up that percentage that is even better but I would consider that the minimum necessary to become a successful trader.

Hi . Well I have lots of problems by trading altcoins and exchanging . For example if I would like to get some profit and I bought that coin for a low price , that coin can go more less and stay at same price for weeks , even months . But trading is not like gambling , you are not going to lose all :) just a bit from your funds , but also the price can grow up and get some profit. Also you need to be careful before exchanging , there are lots of sites who have big fees for exchange

Well, I think all people who are not yet expert in trading would be feeling the same thing. When we do act based on what we feel and see then there can be a big possibility that we can be wrong! This is why good traders are not using their emotions in doing their craft and they always have basis based on charts and information before making any move. Alas, we are not really experts on this field though of course it is good to learn and try our best from time to time.

If that is your problem then be glad, most of the time people have trouble with the entry point, if you have problem with the exit point then you can easily solve that, if the price goes up then you create sell order with a threshold, that way if the price get lower than the price you put in the sell order you automatically get out and you get your profits.

The biggest problem I encountered while trying to exchange was even finding genuine exchangers who were going to offer the highest rates. The exchangers online are mostly rippers who want to do away with your money. I advice you do a lot of research before opting for an exchanger.

Well not everyone though. At first ypu're probably right. But emotions take a back seat once you've seen several situations already and learn how to deal with them through experience.

It only means that you need to hold longer. Every beginner has that experienced and you will learn from it.

Good luck.
It is hard to have patience on trading specially when the price pump and you think it is a good time to sell your Bitcoin because it actually go pump more and you can waste an opportunity to earn more profit. It can also happened vice versa where you could actually do panic selling when the price of bitcoin could drop and dump on your margin price. So it could be better to have a limit sell and buy of your Bitcoin so you could manage your tradings in a more good way for you to earn more and make a good profit in the future.

The biggest problem with trading/ exchanging the altcoins now is the markets doesn't too support for smartphone devices, poloniex has problem with logout automaticly, bittrex doesn't support for smartphone devices and it is difficult to navigate. I don't like the market that doesn't support for smartphone devices due to it will not be easy to check our positions of trading on there.

I'm going to mention emotion too. I've managed to supress irrational feelings a bit better nowadays, but sometimes emotion still gets though and then I tend to make foolish moves; buying coins at the absolute top while having a severe episode of FOMO, selling at a loss, watching graphs almost maniacally ... Seriously, emotion-deprived logic is the thing to strive for.

Another thing for me personally; security. I've always stored my coins on online exchanges for months. I'm lucky I've moved my crypto from BTC-e to Bittrex before BTC-e went down. But I'm currently in the process of moving my coins from online exchanges to actual secure wallets. I've neglected the aspect safety far too long and I'm planning to change this before its too late.

Finding a bitcoin exchanger is really hard, but finding a dependable one is harder, exchangers are actually cashing in a lot of money from people. Most exchangers are also not quick when it comes to service delivery, they deliver at a slow rate but would want you to give your money ASAP.

I always panic when the price of the coin I hold is down.
I often experience losses in that situation.
Is there anybody can give me a solution?

The only solutions is that trade with bitcoin which if lost you dont get harm. The main key of trading is patience if you are trading in altcoins you have to be alert and what ever information is going to come to that coin you should be ready for up and down movement of that coin. If you are trading in BTC then what ever position you have bought you have to keep patience and buy only in split form not in one go. So that your buying price will be low if their is any price fluctuation you should be in position to buy back in low so that your buying price will get averaged and on upward market you should be able to sell them in profit soon.

Correct but most people never get that, I have heard people say things like, I never lose or I always get what I want, having that kind of attitude in life will cost you a lot not only in terms of money but in happiness as well, a trader that thinks like that is going to make very costly mistakes that will take him months to overcome if he is lucky and if he is not then he is never going to be able to become a successful trader.

Most of the times before i try trading, i am very confident that i can make money and i always think to just hold the coins that i bought but when the price dropped nearly 10% then my mindset changes and i just think that it is okay to accept and do cut loss and after i do that, the price goes up very high and that is what i am trying to control; my emotion.

Well exchanges are not a charity, they are a business and as such they cannot exchange your money for free, they need to have a profit, if that was not the case then very soon the exchange will disappear so while I can understand your discomfort with the situation, I think it is inevitable and as such the only thing we can do is to find an exchange that we trust and that has fees that you are willing to pay.

The biggest problem for some exchanges even major one is lack of support, good experience support. They obviously have some inexperience workers who just google answers without even look if that or this coin have some technical difficulties but that is something that each exchange need to do for them self. My recent experience is very bad, with one exchange that i have, change the fon i forgot to transfer 2FA, but one exchange work this out in matter of minutes and the other one was 3 days war with word pictures and date and exacts time of my login to prove this is my account, not to mentioned that you need to provide mail and i was sending all information from that mail.

It seems bad customer support is becoming an epidemic among exchanges, it seems the amount of people interested in bitcoin is going up every single minute but it seems the exchanges are not willing to spend a single cent more than needed in their support which I think it is a bad idea since most of the time how good is your support can make the difference between getting the client or not.

I totally agree with that, exchangers have high fees that sometimes it consumes the money you are withdrawing. As far as I know, it was not like this before the fees are lower and is on the right amount for the traders not to be concerned like this. Aside from that, one of my biggest problem also is the internet connection here in our province. I remember that time when a certain coin that I was selling was opened to its max price on another exchanger but because of the poor connection, I wasn't able to register and log in for two hours. At the time that I was logged in, the price of that coin is now already half of the max price. I was frustrated by that time because I just loss the good opportunity to sell my coins at a great price.

What you are telling about new coin trading in exchange is a common thing. The developer and management of the coin when listed make it move high with internal trading in this out side wont be able to trade and after it gets to original price then only other users will be able to trade it. So dont regret about missing the selling option on high listed rate. One more option is that you should have your account in all exchanges so that if any coin list to any exchange you should not be in a problem of opening a new account and when it gets listed the opportunity of selling on high price should not gone away.

I think exchanges are facing a lot of pressure lately and this is why they are trying to cut costs as much as they can, we have seen some exchanges having their accounts closed in some banks, now it seems the IRS is going against Coinbase and their customers, decentralized exchanges are gaining customer base and the fees of bitcoin are not going down.

Folks, fees are nothing when you think about stuck withdrawals and deposits. This is the thing makes me most scared. When I deposit, and when I withdraw they always delay the procedure and I'm very panicking for this.

The biggest problem I have with the exchanges are the fees being way too high to trade decently with coins that have over 400 satoshi value.

What happens is I make like 20-30 "Good" trades. You know, buying low and selling at more then you bought for.
Only to find out I lost money because of the fees.

This highly limits the amount of coins I can successfully trade at exchanges such as poloniex.

The second biggest problem is the "trust factor".
You basically have to "trust" the exchange with your money that your are trading.

A personal example of mine, is with cryptsy back a couple years ago.
I was an active trader on there. I was trading about 2 BTC daily. Then cryptsy decided to go and run with everyones money.
It didn't matter how much profit I made or how long it took. I lost it all.....

So yeah, "trust factor" and "fees" are the biggest problems imo.

If you decide you no longer want to trust exchanges anymore, then you could try your luck with decentralized exchanges, those exchanges do not have as many coins as the centralized ones but the good thing is there is not a central entity that can run away with your funds whenever they feel like it, this is why I think decentralized exchanges are going to become bigger than the exchanges we  have right now.

When you do trade in huge amount , there's a lot of problem you will faced.
Awful customer support will make you really insecure , you have to choose better exchanger next time.
And i think in general most problem that people had during trading is on how to not go allin trade , but a little piece by piece.

I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.
Trading currency and exchange there are many problems, from the low exchange rate, as well as the risk of buying currency at a low price, and it will continue to fall, and then panic. In general, there are enough problems, but if you do not trade and do not take chances, then you will not get anything and will not get it.

If your trade goes against your plan then that would be a big problem, otherwise i think other than that wont matter. As the exchanging problems, i dont think i have any issues about that for now, sometimes i kinda feel a bit hard about the exchange rate and fees but if i think the exchanger is trustworthy enough then i think its probably worth it, because no one wants to do business for charity  ;D ;D

1.being able to determine the trends correctly and act accordingly, this is trader's bread and butter
and if you cannot predict if the market is going up or down, you should take up origami instead
2.being able to control your emotions and never succumb to panic or be a conformist (I think the trend is bullish, but everyone is selling,so I must be mistaken, lets selll...)
3.secure your accounts and do not store your assets online EVER,once you finished trading-secure your money
if you don't you are risking all your bank and future profits and whatever have you been doing before

;D the biggest problem is too many coin. So Hard to follow information of many coin.
It is natural to feel overwhelmed with the huge number of coins that exists, but if you are new to the world of trading the best thing you can do is to concentrate in a single pair to trade then when you get more experience and you begin to make money with your trades then you can expand the amount of coins that you study, but remember it is best to take it slowly to avoid being overloaded with information.

You are very much right. I think you can only be good at trading if you have good IQ and that you can manage the things well. This is what trading is all about, you need to have information of what all is going around in the international market. If having information of so many coins seems difficult to you then reduce the number of coins.

Patience is what most of the people don't have when it comes to trading. Next is to stay protected from scammers . Basically only trade with trusted users or users who are ready to go first. Apart from all this you should have enough experience to negotiate and stick with the price you want and not to get manipulated by the other trader.

When you are an investor and you invest more, you will diffinetly scared about the situation now but some are staying cool and wait for the bitcoin price to rise.

This is the common problem on most investors or crypto traders on which we do suffer lose of money when prices do go down and when we saw our portfolio is falling down.It is really a hard thing even you are already an experienced person on this field. If you do see decreasing prices panic cant really be avoided this is why im sure some people are panic selling now. This is why its really important to learn trading carefully and dont rush up on making any decision.Cryptomarket is too volatile and unpredictable.

And because of that I have lost a lot of money .
Well I am a panic seller too, not only panic seller i also a panic buying too, i always panic buying when the price is rising and when I buy the price of the coin is falling down, so I often cut lost, I end up with losing many until now, but now since i busy with bounty and office work, I am not so focused anymore with trading, so I hold the coin that i have because the price is down too

Yeah you have a point. We have the same problem in the trading. I also becoming greedy in the trading world. I always make bad decision and the result is really bad. I think we should not be greedy in the trading world.

My biggest problem in trading was when to buy low. Sometimes I'm becoming greedy and really wants to buy the lowest price. Onetime, I hold and hold because I thought it would still go down and when the price is slowly rising I panic and that's the time I bought missing the lowest price. And sometimes when the market  had abruptly crash I bought all my funds realizing it will go down further more. Dah., Now Im buying my funds little buy little. If it drops I buy 50%, 25%, 25% respectively. Sometimes I divide it in 4 so that if it drops further more I still have some to purchase.

This is the best way to trade I think. Do not go all in when trading so that when the price go down, you can still buy in the dips so you are averaging down and you can lower down your target price. We cannot always buy at the bottom and sell at the top so it would be better to buy in portions so that wherever the price will go, you will know what action to take.

For my biggest problem in trading, I sometimes go all in in one trade as oppose to buying in portions before that's why I lose more than half of my trading capital before. Now, I am still trading getting back those losses and if my trading style would be effective this time then I hope I would be able to get my losses before the year ends.

The third point is something that a lot of traders do not take into consideration until they are burned because of a hack, a government intervention or an exit scam, then you see a lot of people crying and infuriated because of the losses that they got, but if they took care of their money and did not leave it in an exchange for an undefined amount of time then they could be fine.

The problem that I usually have when I am trading is that I usually loose it when coming to timing. Say I buy now at a higher value and a few hours/days the values of the coins I bought crashes. Imagine, If I should have waited until then, I would bought at a cheaper value. However, it happens once after a while, trying to build up on that. Hopefully, they will recover, that is how the market goes.

The biggest issue I faced with trading is time management. I have a day job and I started trading just to increase my bitcoin savings. But to become successful in trading, you need to track the market very well. Otherwise, you won't be able to make informed decision and your speculations may fail to reach the conclusion.

Since I have a day job, I usually don't trade during weekdays because I don't time to track the market. I trade only during weekends now since I get time to track the market and also can stay online for as long as I want.

Overall, with my 1 month in trading and investing. The biggest problem that I experienced as of now is the time of ghost month. I can't barely imagine the situation. I thought I am already wrecked. 'Coz my portfolio is covered with red numbers. Oh God! My coins were so dump, I don't know what to do. I want to panic and sell all my coins even at loss. Yes, indeed! prediction is something which matters a lot but the thing is you can never predict exactly what will happen in the future. If you are a panic seller, then you shouldn't be trading at all. The only thing that will make you sell out of panic is if you did not actually plan your trade before buying in. So many people like you try to quickly buy when a coin's value is rising which is a very bad move.
The best time to buy safely is when you have compared the market with previous chart and you know the dip position you are buying from will definitely pick up some profits for you no matter what.

The fees are there for two reasons, one is to obtain profits I think that is very obvious but it needs to be stated, however the second reason an exchange needs to have fees is because if there was an exchange without fees then a bunch bots could be used to fake volume all day, this is something that a lot of people have complained in the past especially about Chinese Exchanges.

sometimes i am having a problem to analyze the cart and price and the last time i missed the price is when the thc is increase. i am selling at 0.00000450 satoshi but the price is going to go up until 0.00000585 satoshi. actually my feeling says that the price will more than 0.00000550 satoshi but i am not following my feeling and i only sell at that price.

I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Greed is a huge sin in trading and I am sure you must have learnt your lessons by now. Have a set target for yourself and act like a Pro when you are trading. Even if you sell, and the price goes higher, forget it and know that at least you achieved your target and go out to look for another market to buy into.

Except you are sure you have a coin which is being pumped, then you should not wait for the highest value before selling cause you may end up missing that point and having to wait for another few hours or days again before you hit that.

But that is not really an issue with the exchange that is an issue with your trading technique and knowledge if you have noticed that happens to you many times then the only thing you can do is to stop trading and try to correct that mistake, see what you can do to overcome it and once you have done so you are going to become an even better trader and your profits will go up.

I am using bittrex as a trading platform and so far I haven't encounter any problem and I hope will never encounter one. I've read here though that Poloniex is having issues with the withdrawal and also the lagging issues that is why I never use this exchange.

I have a lot of problems with altcoin trading.
I often get stuck because buy when the price is expensive and the price back down.
It takes extra patience in trading,I often get the wrong info, there are people who provide information altcoin,
And after I bought it, the altcoin did not pump.
That is really your mistake, you should not rely on some other people signals that is the fast way of losing all your money, it is going to take time but the best way to develop your trading skills is by taking the slow route, learn from a few books, watch some videos and start trading with fake money until you are able to get most of your trades right.

Of course it is the fees because even in a small quantity it's still big and i hate when i see a bearish candle and a very big one but it's 100% normal in trading/.
