Heres a picture of the pms he sent me. He answered me on my mother language.

http://imgur.com/aA5uizo (http://imgur.com/aA5uizo)

here is the tx information.

Status: 468 confirmations
Date: 5/9/2013 00:54
To: Oldsport 1MubLqdqefqia8YuY55G9MvGCSQCoQZzmC
Debit: -10.00 BTC
Net amount: -10.00 BTC
Transaction ID: f786957d134d7d1a663340108b01748a07b941f953a872ef3c592212f3ad38ed

He was going to pay me with bank transfer and said he had family members that live in my country that would send me the money.

I know that it was stupid from my side, lesson learned.

Please avoid this guy, he is a scammer.

Okay, my Portuguese understanding isn't great but, the first message says " I have relatives in Portugal that will transfer. this is not my native language. enviel-ihe references" I couldn't work out all of it.

Second one:

"accepted. I'm always buying week to week then when you are comfortable i'm ready".

Is that right? correct me where possible.

;D Scammers are like ETs. I thought you were fluent in Portuguese. Why did you PM me about this thread? Seems weird seeing as to how I replied to it before your PM... almost like you meant to do it from your main account fgkrew.

His above response through http://translate.google.com/ is:

Deflection. Why don't you answer the questions? There is nothing for me to defend OPs accusations are false. He's also fallen silent. Can't be logged into two accounts at once I guess.

He/she doesn't need to answer your questions.
Your questions are invalid.

You say that the OP is providing false accusations, but where is your evidence to back that up?

So he's only using part of the messages, so have you got pictures you can give of the other parts which might be of importance.
You can't just say the OP is wrong without backing it up.
At least the op as provided something to backup his story, even if it's not in full.

So please, instead of trying to pass on the buck, defend your self with some actual evidence.

OP made an accusation it is up to the OP to fully prove it. I'm not entertaining this further.

If you have questions, ask the OP.

Agreed.  I asked you if you accepted 10 btc from the OP as the OP has stated.  Did you or did you not receive btc per the OP?

Or perhaps you could just confirm you are the rightful owner of the address the OP pointed to which clearly has 10 btc in it and per the image the OP posted it would appear to be your address:  http://blockexplorer.com/q/getreceivedbyaddress/1MubLqdqefqia8YuY55G9MvGCSQCoQZzmC

Do you have ANY evidence to support an alternative theory or are you just willing to accept the accusation that you are a scammer?

And the tx details i can get from my bitcoin-qt.

This guy is a joke, like i have nothing else to do.

So i wake up in the morning and say to me: i dont have nothing to do lets go on bt forums and acuse someone of scamming..

If the moderatores do nothing against you, karma will take care of it.

He will need to show us a screenshot from his relatives homebanking. It usually generates a proof.

Please remember that pending transactions can be cancelled in minutes and as I said if the transfer is done between different banks it may take up to 2-3 working days sometimes.

I was curious about Oldsport because I got a pm about a currency trade from him.  From what I can tell about posts he seems serious about btc, but it's hard to say, the account is only a few months old.  With this stuff going on I certainly don't feel comfortable buying possibly stolen coins.
If he had responded more reasonably I might not feel that way.

Agreed. Scammer or not (based on this thread that still seems to be determined), I sure wouldn't want to do business with him. If someone leant me 10 BTC and wasn't sure if I was going to uphold my end of the deal I'd do everything possible to prove/reassure them I was...

So this guy Oldsport offered me to buy Avalon chips via pm:

I'll sell up to 500 chips for 12.65 BTC/ 100 chips.

Ich verkaufe bis zu 500 Stück für 12,65 BTC / 100 Stück.

But couldn't even say which order number they were from:

I'm not disclosing the order number. I'm located in the USA.

So that seemed fishy enough for me to quit. Guess I was right with that.

You need to go and file a report with the bitcoin police and then and only then will the forum act like a criminal court. After judgement has been passed, mandatory penalties are assessed and the funds are recovered. Its quite a painless process and considering that the forum staff have all been payed 6 figure salaries to clean up after people when they spill their milk, I would say the system is working.

Or, you could pay attention to the feedback, the cries in this section of the forum or actually use some common sense and theses things wont happen to you. But hey, crying on the internet that daddy wont help you is just as good.

As I just posted in the only thread I've ever started about oldsport I don't use alts to make shit up.  I have never dealt with oldsport in any fashion and I am only here to help police the community and keep trash like oldsport in the garbage where he belongs.  Oldsport remains a piece of shit scammer, (from everything I've read) by the MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY individuals who have accused him of the same.  Even a mod can verify that my IP is not the same as any of the others who are trying to rid the forums of this trash.  It is gauling that he has never been held to account in this single thread alone.

Fuck off and die you piece of trash.  At least your buddy crumb got banned.  I'm still shocked that the night you spend participating in the bullshit spam fest that you were not perma-banned too or at least tagged as the scammer you are.

Stop making accounts, stop posting nonsense. Your holier than thou attitude is not fooling anyone. The only scammer here is you. Every single person that claims I scammed them recently signed up and has little to no trade history. You appear in each of their threads shortly after their posted and comment using your multitude of throwaways. I'm so sick and tired of you. "Fuck off and die" Right, take your own advice bud. I wouldn't be surprised if you edit or delete that now I've called you out. That is your style.

Ive done successful  trades with oldsport, and he seems a very trustworthy guy. That is all I have to say on this matter. I do not know anything about this case, and the accusations as the OP and OS were the only ones involved. Just wanted to put that out there, Ive done several transactions with Oldsport, and he has always been honest, and courteous.

Thank God for you.

Oldsport is the one with all the alts  ::)
It appears I've been struck with a strange case of Deja poop.  Ah yes, Watson,  I have seen this crap before!

Those stupid smilies are a trade mark of Viceroy and his alts. And look! Yet again, another low post count member who seems to know so much about me. Registered June 02, as well.

There's is nothing to address Viceroy & minions, because it's all BS.

EVEN BETTER, THE ABOVE USER BUYS ACCOUNTS! I GUESS THAT'S HOW VICEROY HAS ALL THESE ACCOUNTS THAT MAGICALLY SKIP NEWBIE JAIL.

ELEMENTARY!

Lol, do you seriously no how fucking stupid you are?

I am an alt because I use smileys, you know those smileys are the default one's for SMF? you have them too. But anyways, for all the people who have read my hilarious threads and have seen the lists of hacked/alt accounts I've posted, you'll know I'm not lying here when I say that oldsport has a fuck ton of accounts and is a scammer.

Peace out BTCTalk. I gotta go for a while, activity problems.

I suppose you'll be on your other accounts. You also have quite the temper, just like Viceroy.

Oldsport remains a scammer.

Yet, no ones has given him/her a bad trust rating. To the people who got scammed, please do a trust feedback. It will decrease the chance of future scams. Some people don't use the search function.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't viceroy well known for having multi "smear" accounts?

It sucks that people out there are totally cool with scamming/duping others.

Gaining one's money through their stupidity (i.e consumerism) is one thing, but stealing just makes my butt rustle in anger.

Fantastic then maybe you can ask oldsport to address the ops accusation that oldsport stole.  like a typical scammer oldsport wastes his time trying to imply I have scammed someone instead of answer the ops accusation.  Read this op from the beginning, it should be clear to anyone with a rudimentary handle on English that oldsport is a scammer.

How does one handle baseless claims? What is there to argue? It's simply untrue. Viceroy, I honestly think you must be 12 years old. Come back when you're at least 18 and leave your minions behind. Maybe then you'll be respected.

By providing FACTS. You have provided no evidence in your defence, you are just attacking people who want to the bottom of this.

You just offered to sell me BTC. How do you expect me to deal with you after seeing your attitude? ???

Those are not relevant facts. I meant facts about the actual trade. You have provided no evidence to defend yourself from these "baseless" accusations.

If they were baseless you could squash them in seconds by simply providing evidence that you paid the buyer money for his BTC.

You either 1) haven't received the bitcoins from the buyer, or 2) paid him the agreed sum in fiat. That's what your arguments should be. Which is it then? :)

There seems to be multiple members claiming to have been scammed by oldsport.. This is too bad. I personally had a smooth transaction with him, though I was very uncomfortable about it since I dont believe it was in escrow..
Also noticed he doesnt even try to correct or argue the claims against him. Ive never been called a scammer, and I find it odd that multiple members are making these claims against him. Seems to be something up.. Best of luck to you on getting this sorted out. chances are good it will never be made right, and can only hope youve all learned from this experience.

There's just way too many claims that Oldsport scammed them, and he did strike me as a little shady when he first started posting.
