He was going to pay me with bank transfer and said he had family members that live in my country that would send me the money.

I know that it was stupid from my side, lesson learned.


Please avoid this guy, he is a scammer.

Okay, my Portuguese understanding isn't great but, the first message says " I have relatives in Portugal that will transfer. this is not my native language. enviel-ihe references" I couldn't work out all of it.

Second one:

"accepted. I'm always buying week to week then when you are comfortable i'm ready".


Is that right? correct me where possible.

I contacted Oldsport about this thread and he responded in Portuguese:

  Scammers are like ETs. I thought you were fluent in Portuguese. Why did you PM me about this thread? Seems weird seeing as to how I replied to it before your PM... almost like you meant to do it from your main account fgkrew.

It is not uncommon for people accused of being scammers to attack the messenger.  I have only one account.

It's uncommon for someone I have never interacted with to be so involved in something that has nothing to do with him. What is your interest in this case? How did you even find it. Do you just have fun in the scam accusations section?

You say that the OP is providing false accusations, but where is your evidence to back that up?

So he's only using part of the messages, so have you got pictures you can give of the other parts which might be of importance.
You can't just say the OP is wrong without backing it up.
At least the op as provided something to backup his story, even if it's not in full.

Agreed.  I asked you if you accepted 10 btc from the OP as the OP has stated.  Did you or did you not receive btc per the OP?

he writes as if he is an American, in my humble opinion.  he is clearly fluent in americanized English.

nobody should lose any money to scammers, ever.  you appear to have lost more than 1000usd, that's serious money.  (for anyone who disagrees I'm happy to take 10 btc off your hands... if it is meaningless).
