Hello folks,

Right now Preev site is saying that the Bitcoin price is floating around $1,950 and I think the price will fall even further until Aug 1, it's a panic selling environment in the market and hence it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins at this moment (next couple of weeks) in my opinion. How many of you are having the same opinion?

It's time to bump this topic, We have seen that Bitcoin rose to $5,000 which is almost 156% growth after creating this topic (I am not taking credit, lol), and now we are facing the correction in the market which is about $3,523 29% so technically investors are in 127% profit but still worried about it.

I would like to repeat this question, How many of you are secretly buying Bitcoin at this level or waiting for further fall? I have a friend who sold his holdings at $5K and now he is all set to invest again. What's your take?

P.S - Please do not post Bitcoin is dead shit, I know it's dead and this is the 8th time of such incident.

I think it is not appropriate to buy Bitcoin now, you should wait a few more hours. In the last days of July, it was the most appropriate time and also the cheapest bitcoin price. At present, Bitcoin's price is still high, almost $ 2,000 so you will waste money if you buy Bitcoin right now.

Don't know why we would keep it a secret.  We are on a forum where 90% of people seem to agree that we should be buying it all the time.

I say just set conditional buy orders above the current market price by $200 or so (higher than the usual fluctuations), so that you buy in when there's a change in trend.

You might get caught in a bull trap but if you do, you can just HODL for longer.

I may not be buying right now but I most certainly am observing ^^.
Still a few weeks on the calendar so somewhere around this time may be peak fear for the short run but I would rather just see if the 2K support wall holds as a psychological barrier before taking any action myself.

the split fear is a little bit different from other types of fear and FUD. it usually makes people always wonder and be in constant fear of the future and think twice before buying.
right now it seems like the buying has started at some smaller scale since the price went just below $2000.

but at the same time the money doesn't go anywhere else. altcoins aren't going anywhere, they are dropping harder.

this has one upside though. all this money is waiting to be invested. everyone is ready to buy, there just needs to be a green light. i have a couple of speculations about what that green light to start buying is going to be but not sure which one is going to be the one that initiates it.

I think a lot are buying bitcoins and some are selling their bitcoins because of the August 1 event. Panic selling especially for those new in the crytoworld and are scared of what might happen to Bitcoin but for those smart ones, they are keeping and holding bitcoins and securing them for the possible split and are buying of course when bitcoin dips.

In my opinion it is not advisable to buy bitcoins right now, it is only good to wait for the August 1 to come and let just wait for theymos to say the magic word that it is all clear to invest again with bitcoin, you are risking your money in buying bitcoin right now, we can not say if the price would still continues to go down further

What's there to buy bitcoin secretly. Right now bitcoin is declining in value. For the same there is no proper reason for price decrease. Now panic spreading is happening just based on the segwit. Hope nothing worse happens by that time.

Everybody buys bitcoin secretly. No one makes a public announcement saying they are going to buy btc. If they did, the smart sellers will withdraw their offer and ask for a higher price. The buyer will effectively shot oneself in the foot. Buyers buy first secretly then boast about it afterwards.

You are right everyone buy bitcoin secretly everytime we no one can know it. We trade our bitcoin that no one knows when we want to buy or sell it. That is the great thing if you are invested on bitcoin because no one knows it.

I'm still not sure to buy bitcoin at the moment. I am still worried about the declining price of bitcoin. Just imagine when we have seen a decline of almost 30%, of course we will have a tremendous panic. This is something that has been predicted before, but this decline is too strong to happen.

What do you mean secretly lol. Yeah preevs bitcoin at 1931 USD, but at the rate bitcoin was falling, I would totally recommend you to wait a bit longer. My opinion is that bitcoin should hit around 1800 USD soon. Definitely people will be panic selling right now and that should dump the bitcoin price even further down.

I have not bought any bitcoins since the start of June, people who did then have already lost a lot of money, but I am still holding some bitcoins though if the price dips farther to $1500, I will be forced to sell so that I don't lose my investment. 1

I am selling Bitcoins and buying alt coins. When things get back to normal I will switch back to Bitcoin.

And 'secretly' is not a good way to put it because you can see who is buying what at the exchanges as the log is pubic.

I am not buying any coins (either BTC or any of the alts) right now. I am too scared to do trading, due to the extreme volatility in the market. If we commit one wrong step, then it can wipe out our entire investment.

As price step down little yesterday, I hope many of them around the forum will buy bitcoins as much they can. We do not see the continuous dump in the chart on bitcoin and other altcoins.
When I got into the bitcoin that time I was buying bitcoins many time but recent months due to price hype I do not able to buy it.

My USDT is waiting for that $1000-$1200 price point.

Personally, I think if you wait until Aug 1, it will already be too late to catch bottom.  Either Segwit2x succeeds (it appears likely). and price turns, or we have chaos for a while and it will be a very long recovery. I'm starting to get back in the water. Recommending same to friends. If I'm wrong, I guess I'll find out how good my friends are....  but seriously, just in case, at delivery move your coins to a secure wallet.  Don't leave Bitcoin on an exchange. 

Every bitcoin purchase is secretly done  :P i am waiting till August till everything is settled and we might be able to get bitcoin below $1500, ;) who knows what the future holds in the coming weeks,anything is possible and if the price falls further,then sure i will grab some.

This is the beauty of the bitcoin that no one knows who is buying the bitcoin it simply mean that you can keep all your money secret. Not coming in the sight of the people even your spouse can’t come to know that how much wealth you are holding unless you tell it yourself. Bitcoin is therefore the centre of interest of many investors.

I know of one very short and small man we all know him, his name is obviously Wu with other nefarious actors buying all the available coins in shadows :D I did invest everything but less than 10 minutes ago my gut told me to exit this scam, good thing I never listen to her except when it's about going to bed doing things in secret under the blanket  :-* :-[ :P :D

It all depends on how much spare cash you have. This might be a good buying opportunity, but there is risk associated with it. $1900 isn't a level where I would be desperate to get in. However, if I have some spare cash, I might consider buying a few coins.

 Buying a little bit every day, all the way down. Grateful for the dip. This mindset has served me very well in the past. I see no reason to change my way of thinking now.  ;D

I agree with you I have the same opinion as well. It is a great opportunity for people who have capital to invest, this is the best time to buy and hold the Bitcoin for at least next three months and the price when will boom high then they can enjoy the profit gained. The whales of bitcoin market will be very happy and enjoying all this time.

I guess the buyers are still waiting for the price to become lower from the current one. I wish my prediction goes wrong but looking at the price fall it seems like the price will drop to $1500 soon. This may create more fear and panic in the ordinary bitcoin holders which can cause more loss to the bitcoin price. The current fear is of the split which have made the people really worried about the future of their investment.

I agree, there's definitely buyers waiting for lower price entries. Today, it looks like bitcoin just recovered 2100+ range. If it can hold this range and pop a bit higher in coming days, there is a possibility fomo will start to kick in for folks in the sidelines.

It seems that lots of people are buying bitcoins.Thats why the price has increased from $1950 to $2236 now.Good luck for those who have bought at cheap rate and bad luck for those who sold bitcoins at cheaper rate.If you still wait,then you would not be able to buy even at $2900 after some days.

Many were taking the opportunity since bitcoin lowers the value this past few days and if I were also I might really grab this chance knowing that the value will sure to rise soon After August 1 splits took place.

I believe after SegWit2x successfully the price of Bitcoin will increasing and breakout resistance line $3000, but it can't doing fast as your tell, need time to stabilize the system blockchain and sync all block before transaction again

Yes even I bought some bitcoins when price was around $1870 two days back and now its good to see that price is getting higher once again so I have already made some good profits by now but I will prefer to hold them for some more days and will sell a part of it when it touches the price of $3k.

By secretly I think the OP means the anonymity of the bitcoin users and this is true no can know it though the log is public but it don’t shows anyone’s identity unless and until someone exposes it to someone.
I think currently looking at the bitcoin price going with such a huge margins it is best to buy alts from the bitcoin that you have.

Even I had brought some Bitcoin. I am also waiting for that to happen. I know like me many had inverse on bitcoin. All of them will get huge profit after August 1.If they satisfy with little profit mean.They can sell today. Today price is 2364 $.It will increase further after August 1.So wish is your's.

Hello OP, why would anybody buy bitcoin in secret. Is there anything illegal about buying bitcoins? You prediction is wrong anyway. Bitcoin just rallied back to $2,400.

Well when nearest deathline SegWit2x Bitcoin, just need have good news in July 21st about Bitcoin not have HardFork split network Blockchain, I can sure 100% the price of Bitcoin will go to the moon in short time with the speed as rocket :P

Indeed the price has rallied to $2400 because a lot of people are starting to buy back bitcoin specially when the price is low. And even though there is a looming hard fork, investors still think that investing in bitcoin for a long term is a good option, hard fork or not.

By secret, he means .... not telling it to the world. {like most people do} There are nothing illegal but some people might be saying one thing

and secretly doing the opposite. I am not dishonest when I say that I bought bitcoin again at $2000, because I think within the next few

weeks the price will be higher than $3000 and I want to cash in on that, when it happens. We have been waiting long enough for a Bitcoin that

Well, i never secretly bought bitcoin. I just always do it, but nobody ever knows. Well, I do not think it matters to anyone else, if I buy bitcoin or not, because it is an act that I do myself and do not harm others. So I never secretly for it.  ;D

Haha, I will waiting the next dip and bloodbath on market after July 21st, many trader are happy with bull trap some days. But they don't know this is best time for withdraw to FIAT or USDT and keep safe their funds

Its a good season to buy Bitcoin, but in few hours to the day, the price will drop more and that will be more a better time to make a huge purchase, then wait for its increase again.

To chime in on something else, most people that say 'I'll keep buying Bitcoin' or some variant on it, especially during drops, probably aren't buying at all. I have great difficulty believing most of them, considering it just a kind of bluff to convince other people to buy.

well i actually have never bought bitcoin though but i would love to only the fact that i am a student and don't have enough money to buy bitcoins so all i can do is earn them through here or somewhere else through this forum of knowledge.
