I tried to fill airdrop distribution form and its ask to link a screen proof of a request on Yobit exchange , so what is purpose to do free request since yobit dont add coin for free.

If you are a registered user, you can create a free (0.00 BTC) request. However, Yobit and Twitter request/tweet are optional, I specified it in the form now, sorry for this misunderstanding. If you fill up the Yobit form, leave empty the parts you don't know about. You can still participate if you don't fill up Yobit request or you don't have Twitter.

Anyway yobit exchange free request is useless.
How Wink coins work within app, do you have beta working app, and about wallet better to upload it in zip or rar file for safety reason.

Request for addition of a coin in exchange should be made after the distribution of all  coins. Otherwise, it seems that you have 100 premine.

I guess dev has all the funds in his wallet and the wallet is closed now. He'll open it when he will start sending coins. So no coins are staking and no blocks are generated, that's why the blockchain is not moving.

Maybe the dev do not know about this even if thousands of request were made they will just ignore it, I have seen it in a lot of coins with similar campaign, it's better for the dev to just submit it for voting in Novaexchange, they have a better chance there and just offer a bounty for voters.

You don't like yobit? I think it's perfect for such projects :) Yesterday there was a pump almost to 20 sato from somewhere below 10 sato. You can train a bit in trading on such relatively small volume coins, it's nice experience (and doesn't hurt your wallet much).

I personally like cryptopia. Cryptopia market is a bit different. They can resist exterior influence. Very much user friendly and adds liquidity. Please try to get listed in new exchange. We have real product. A lot of junk coins gets pump without real product or real life use. Good marketing may bring a fortune. BTW not bad for a free coin, after all

Really hope this gets listed on Cryptopia or at least Nova, cause I don't like Yobit, it's shady. And judging by the numbers, Yobit is the place where the majority of trade volume is taking place.

To make your wallet sync
here is the detailed description :
creat a SHORTCUT of wink.exe
On the shortcut click 'properties'
there you will see something like C:\...\wink.exe
after that add             -addnode=110.55.67.96
it must look like this:   wink.exe -addnode=110.55.67.96

UPDATE 14 AUG 17: at the moment only this node is working, you must
                               -addnode=213.239.212.246

click OK
close the shortcut and try again.

Better sell your coins while they have some value. I have the gut feeling that the dev will not further develop his project.

I learned this lesson with Slevin coin, got 99000 coins for free and I'm keeping staking them but dev last apperance was more then 1 month ago. Once I received my WINK I dumped all for 190 to 100 sats each, because I was scared to feel the same thing I felt with Slevin. Maybe is also the same guy at this point ;D

My concern is how difficult is it for people to cheat the system and abused? Anytime there's any kind of system that's based on a social network or really anything of that nature you'll going to find people out there that are going to find ways to throw extra traffic at their links, or whatever it is they need to do to abuse the system. I'm actually surprised that the steemit site is it getting more of that type of thing. Is that even possible here is there any kind of security to stop it?

Yes very true with that, this could be a good project, the name and the planned usage of the coin is creative. I still got my airdropped coins and with the current price, no plan to exchange it in few sats but just let it sit there on yobit at good price. If this coin has no more active nodes then eventually this will die, but knowing Yobit.. :)

Guess my optimism was unfounded and this coin is dead. I'll continue staking the coin in hopes of a long shot recovery.

Okay understood. But the dev team should at least give us updates on what's happening- even one sentence is enough. But nothing at all, is really not good for the start-up of a project. At least the price is not yet at 1 sat. Maybe the dev has still the chance to revive this project.

i see wink on coinexchange , really ? since developer didn't show up again ....

I would like to buy more WINK coins... Problem is that the wallet was close to syncing and all of a sudden wouldn't try syncing anymore.  Yet there is a at least one connection in the network...  I don't want to buy anymore coins, leaving them on an exchange only to be delisted and I cannot have access to them.. I want them safely in my wallet.. Can someone explain an alternative method of getting this wallet working before I decide to purchase more coin? 

How long have you tried to sync it?  Sometimes just opening and closing it again a few times will sync a wallet.  Also, in task manager, increasing the priority of the wallet can help.  Did you create a .conf file if there were additional nodes posted?

Tried everything you've suggested and other techniques and still nothing.  Like I said, it was syncing then all of the sudden it just stopped won't resync anymore

Project can't be dead, it's only been out for 8 months. There are projects that were absent for years that had amazing comebacks.

I'm not wink's dev but seems pretty obvious to me that this project is dead, dev did the airdrop, then he wash traded on yobit to create fake volume and finally he sold his coins. It's the same thing happened last year with other couple of coins (Slevin and Cyder)

WinkCoin will be de-listed on the 16th of June 2018 - Please withdraw all coins before that date. Any coins left in CoinExchange.io after that date will not be recoverable.

The blockchain of wink was syncing so slow that it took 3 months (from January to April 2018)
to transfer from WINK wallet to exchange with necessary confirmations !
Definitely there is something wrong with the code. If you don't believe me try to sync your wallet.
But not worth it, move on. There are enough other projects.
