what are good ways to advertise a bitcoin business?

I tried a-ads and bitmedia but they suck

does anyone have experience advertising with coinmarketcap?

noone advertises in the cryto space or how come i get no answers?

Currently I'm using my 2 most valueable assets: my ability to write software and interpret software. I am writing articles on mysterious altcoins to debunk them (check out my signature). Some are made public, but the majority are private. I want to show I am offering something valueable, but need support to continue to produce (currently I'm asking for a measly $10 for a months worth of access to these articles - users are free to save them for personal use even. I am super liberal with my work).

The software is monitoring software, mostly for Poloniex. I will probably incorporate Bittrex as well. There are two:

Global monitoring: this is monitoring the overall state of these exchanges
Targetted monitoring: monitoring a specific cryptocurrency.

Why no one has responded - it is Friday, so there are not many people around. I would try other forums (even 4chan and reddit). Currently I'm bitcointalk exclusive, mostly because I want this to remain the central place for cryptocurrency discussion.

I am hoping word of mouth, and contributing to discussions like this, will help attract people to me.

Advertising should be used mostly when you want to grow quickly. Your first group of users should be people that you can pinpoint and will very likely want your product. Do you have those yet?

on the other end of the spectrum you could wander around and spend countless hours on social media and other junk posts that will do nothing.

You should try using some traditional forms of online advertising instead of going with networks that are focussed on Bitcoin exclusively.
Adwords is still pretty good, you might be able to add a bunch of cheap keywords and limit your spending.

Facebook ads are also a good option, there are many Bitcoin related Facebook groups, so there is definitely good exposure.

Better you first try to share your links on social media network, you can pay few bucks on Facebook for targeted advertising i think it is the simplest sight for begin. There were a few short Facebook and Twitter campaign here, it is a good way.

I've see so many ICO coins doing some advertisement on coinmarketcap and MEW wallet and I think they are the best platforms to do some advertisement since many people are visiting that site for personal monitoring purposes and its a good thing they can see youe banner upon visiting on that site. And also bcta ads renting is one of the best option here since you might gonna get some traffics on the visitors of this furom.

My proposition is to do advertising on bitcointalk forum by renting their banner space and posting ann thread here. Also there are popular bitcoin news sites like cointelegraph etc.  :)

@ orarider If you want professional results you hire professionals. If you look at ICO that have actually made millions I will bet they all had professional marketing agencies. That is not the type of results you get will post some stuff on facebook or buying a $3. forum signature.

Best way for advertising is by using social medias with millions of users. Dont use websites which only focuses on bitcoin. Some people don't know these site and some don't visit it regulary so they might miss your advertisement. You can also use bitcoin forum and post ann thread for your business. If it is a big business and you are sure that you will gain big profit, you will not worry if you have to pay large amount in advertising. Also try asking business professionals on how they advertise and they might refer a good one to you.

I think if you need to advertise something, first, contact the place you want to advertise. Make the necessary arrangements, I am sure that you can advertise anything you want.

The best to advertise is to have your ICO website with whitepaper prepared and translated, then you can try to list your ICO in different ICO-trackers, the same is with exchanges for your project cryptocurrency. Try to advertise in social media like facebook, use their business tools, they charge cheap cost, I've tried advertise use the tools, it's useful if you know how to use the tools.

I believe ada and media for btc is good enough for case to case basis. I mean if you are putting your ads on social media yes the number of publicity is good enough but the question is do you really reach your target audiences. I believe if you go for ads for cryptos, it is best to put it on big exchanges there i can barely say you're in the right track

Why not try out youtube for advertising, its very popular right now for crypto with many channels and thousands of targetted viewers.  You could apporach some popular channels and see if they can help or build you own and offer some content.

I agree with him. If you can make content for Youtube you are a winner! Videos are really great. For example you can make an educational video or discuss something related to bitcoin and then link back to your website in description. That is good for your SEO and also will drive traffic to your site. It's also free, it only requires imagination and your time.

Direct advertising via Fb/Adwords is important and its role only growing in such a competitive field as crypto-based products.

If you can make original content bring new value thats obviously even better. It seems to be very popular to live stream right now.  But you can also clip other videos and provide "new" compilations or offer your point of view on other videos etc - thats if you really cant think of ideas.

I think you can't find an agency that will advertise it. Bitcoin spread and become popular even without an agency because the user itself can advertise it in anyway. And also social media has the big help in spreading bitcoin to the world because most of the people in any country was addicted to social media.

Most effective way to promote is to share information about your project here, but prepare all necessary documents in advance: white and/or vision paper, information about team.

I don't think Google search ad is an effective way to promote your coin. I assuming you wanted to promote your coin because we of ICO, so the best way is to spread such words to members in crypto currency world. Signature campaign is good, Twitter and Facebook through relevant pages also not a bad idea.

Advertise your business in here is a good way obviously. There are many people which advertise their projects or business in this forum and could manage to get more attention and more profits. I don't have an experience to advertise through coinmarketcap, but here's the thing : How much people visiting coinmarketcap? How much people visiting this forum? I believe more people visit this forum looking for latest news, projects, business, buy and sell something which is why advertise in this forum more profitable in my opinion.

I think the best way to advertise your bitcoins business is to put it here in bitcointalk. You can also try to do an AD-CAMPAIGN maybe similar to a signature campaign wherein you put your business ad as a signature of a certain bitcointalk user. Or maybe on social networking site like twitter and facebook.
