Hello everyone!

So lets someone has some bitcoins maybe worth about 100 to 500$. What could be the investment do where the bitcoin holder is quite new to the crypto currency world and want to get guaranteed profit from the investment.

I know that holding bitcoins are good, but what are other good investments you can make with bitcoins?

Would like to know what you guys about this.

i think you should buy some good alt to make double profit from bitcoin and alt, there is a lot of alt have a good future like Litecoin,Veritaseum,Digibyte,Populous...

Don't listen to this guy.  Altcoins will lead you to the poor house quick, and anyone who offers a way to double your bitcoin is looking to steal it through chicanery.

If you're going to buy an altcoin, doesn't it make more sense to just hold bitcoin?  Those other pieces of shit are far riskier, IMO.

There are places you could put it, like online casinos and stuff, but there's nothing better to do with your btc than just hold.  Everyone is going to tell you that.

You could lend it out, but you have to watch out for scammers.  They are as thick as thieves around these parts.

There are many other investment options like for example trading you can sell and buy bitcoins or buy and sell altcoins then convert it to bitcoin. Another good investment is mining where can decide how many bitcoins you vmcan mine with a good graphics card also holding bitcoin is not so bad because you keep your btc while the price continues to rise while your doing some online job to get paid in bitcoin. Having or learning some professional skills is also a good investment if you have that kind of skills you can easily find a job that requires it in the services section.

I would advise you to trade altcoin. You will get a good profit when doing the right analysis. But if you want a faster one then look for a new altcoin and you should pay attention to whether the coin has a prospect or not. If you get the right altcoin then you can get a big advantage, wait and be patient until the coin is pump.

The good thing that you can do now with your bitcoins is invest them on new projects, new ICOs or alternative coins that may come. But be careful because you may hit a large and clean wall with nothing on it.

Thats the thing see, there is always risks involved. I mean I really do like the idea of investing into new coins that are made and has good developers behind it that are thriving to make it better, but you dont always hit the jackpot.

To perform speculative action will require little risk, as well as investment in ICO coin. Although sometimes can get great results, but not a few of those who lost, due to invetasi is not clear. I think to do that should do some research first to avoid the losses incurred on coin investment that is not yet clear

try to go into a trading, its up to you if you want alt coins or bitcoins . You can try also investment to an upcoming ico,but i prefer a long term investment because it is less risky. Just invest only what you can afford to lose.

When I already have bitcoin, the first I will learn is trading. Although trading has risks like investing, but I think it's an alternative to increasing my bitcoin amount.

My recommendation would be to park some in AiCoin. They already have a live-trading bot, which is based on Machine Learning algorithms (the stuff that makes cars drive on their own etc.). While I do agree with most that you've said, it's patently false that the best way to invest is by just holding BTC. A better strategy would be to keep a majority stake in BTC and then spread a portion of the invested sum over promising projects. That will not only help the ecosystem and some genuinely good projects, but also create more profit in the long run with a comparatively low or no chance whatsoever to lose without BTC losing value.
Sufficient due diligence is required of course, but simply buying one piece of whatever financial instrument is never the right way to go, regardless of whether you are in crypto, in stocks or anywhere else.

As for investments that you can make which have a high chance of netting you returns with low risk or enough to recoup losses, I would have to recommend trying your hand at altcoin trading and seeing how that works out for you. Most of the time, as long as you're not buying at the peak and then becoming a bagholder, you should be able to do fine in the market. But, of course, no guarantee for something like that. Ever.

Yes, trading is a good investing to increasing our bitcoins if we can get constant profit from trading, especially trading altcoins because we can use small amount of capital and big amount of capital, so although we don't have much money in altcoins we still can do trading, there are chance to getting good profit and the other investment except trading is invest on the ICOs projects, that is good instrument of investment too.

I agree with opinion of @jk_14, we all know when trading or investing have a rule is don't putting your funds to into a basket, because split your funds will helps you have more opportunity earning extra profit and avoid situation the price of coin you putting all get breakdown make you just can waiting recovery price and miss other opportunities. However, buy many altcoins not good, about under 15 altcoins in your list I think will better than split buy 30-50 altcoins.

If you have bitcoins worth 100$-150$ then you can start with trading from alts and investing some but you wont get a high return. The best investment for you can be trading altcoins with some knowledge. If you can afford to invest more in bitcoins, then you can purchase some good miners and start mining bitcoins with altcoins.

Careful with this. Mining is only really worth it for industrial scale miners. Mining at home is implausible for almost everybody due to the high cost of electricity for private citizens.

Oh, and also to add over that, over here our government just increased cost of electricity by 400%

I would not invest all too much in altcoins.
If your goal is stability and long-term growth, bitcoin itself is a pretty good investment.

Don't forget all the tax that is involved in mining (but not in buying and HODL/trading). Over here you'll be losing 50-60% of your income to the government... which makes mining quite a sad joke.

Imo, I think ICO and basically altcoin trading is the way to go but with very carefully thought decisions. Have to do reseach and see whether it's good investment or not. Thats how I see it, really

That's not what you've written though. Of course one should avoid "shitty" altcoins. But there are plenty of alts that are not shit. Your post made it sound as if Bitcoin was the only good investment in the crypto-markets, which is not true.

There are many good investments you can do with bitcoin. For example, you can buy bitcoin  when the bitcoin price decreases, and then hold on to it and later on, sell it. It is profitable to do that method. You can also spend your bitcoin in casinos. However, it is too risky because you might lose your bitcoin. So, you need luck in order to win.

That's how I think it can work, just basically trading btc, buying low sell high.

The only option is to invest those bitcoin in altcoin when they are dumping hard like right now. ETH and LTC are in red for months so a good pump in its price is quite guaranteed and even a newbie traders can invest few hundred in them today to get good profit within next few weeks when all this chaos and hype around hardfork and segwit will over.

But if you want to maximize the profit you would most likely add more than just $500 of it.

I have done altcoin trading and have seen many people doing it. And let me tell you most of them were in loss. Altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin and also when they start dropping, most of the time they never rebound. Whereas in Bitcoin, small term dips are common. But in long term it has always been profitable. Moreover, Altcoin trading would take a lot of your time and brain to analyze market (which isn't really easy). So, better stay in Bitcoin.

You can invest in a company related to digital currencies. But it would be hard to find some. Also, you can start your own website or business in your area of expertise. But again it is uncertain that the company you invested in or your own business becomes successful.

Therefore, it is better to hold your Bitcoin where you most probably can double up your investment with least risk possible in a matter of a year.

altcoin investment  is too good, because there are a lot of altcoin where there are more chances that its price will increase, so if a person has a big amount of money and if he can manage then he should also invest money in altcoin. to i mostly invest my bitcoin in different ICOs and from there i am earning a good amount of money. but i have to do good study about ICOs first.

I honestly don't think the volume invested matters too much when allocating a portfolio in cryptos. As long as you have a few hundred $ in BTC, it's best to keep a large chunk in BTC and spread out a smaller portion over a few alts. Exact numbers vary with an investor's risk profile, the more BTC you hold the "safer" the investment becomes since BTC is less volatile than altcoins. The more you have in alts the riskier, but the higher the potential returns.
Basically sit down with a pen and paper (or program something) to check what the maximum draw-down of your portfolio is going to be and adjust accordingly.

Holding Bitcoin it's a better choice. But if you want spread your crypto investment portfolio, Etherum maybe a good choice to hold, eth is a solid since day one hope eth have a room to growth. Other altcoin I have interest to invest on litecoin too.

As of now you can make profit in ethereum so its the best choice if you invest in ethereum but its much profitable if you build your own mining rig which is you can mine your own ethereum.
You got the point but for investment i think building mining rig would be still the best choice for investment instead of investing your money in altcoin to buy.. simple mining rig while you are making profit with small specs and gaining buy more high gpu or cpu depends in your build to make more faster rig. .to make more profit.. this is the best choice because you can generate more and gaining back your investment ..

Hold (HODL) is the best option, I guess. Other altcoins, tokens, ICO are great too, but you have to go deep there, to understand what they are and how they work.

Well i think that best and safest option to make money with bitcoins is simply by holding them. But because you said you do not want to do that, there are other things you can do to improve your profit and earn more money. I think that second best way of earning more money with bitcoin would be trading them for altcoins, and with that make a profit from trading.

I keep reading this advice every now and then since I ve got into crypto long time ago. This is actually a very bad and opportunistic advice. If we all hold and do nothing with our BTC, how is crypto economy going to grow and how is it going to generate new investment opportunities?

There are so many ICOs from recent projects that it's confusing to invest, until now I see that more projects are hurting investors. But it may take a long time to get investors to make a profit. If we do not have patience then we can lose.

Agreed with your opinion, trading altcoin is the best investment we can do with bitcoin, we just wait, choose potential coin and invest, we will have more bitcoin than after a period of holding it. The very safe and effective way to invest your bitcoins is through your wallet. Just hold it as long as you could, it will serves as an investment in the future because the bicoin value will always rise. Buying an altcoins will just ruined your investment just stick to bitcoins and gained more profits, not unless you gained those altcoins it is pretty good but as much as possible do not buy altcoins just gained them.

Holding Bitcoins and waiting till the the price grows up is a time consuming process. It requires a lot of patience. I agree! Holding bitcoins is profitable but a time consuming process. It requires even several months to get the desired profit. Instead we can utilize the time for trading with some skills and knowledge to make some good profit in a short time.

We can consider 'holding' as an investment since the price of Bitcoin is exponentially increasing. But then again trading would be the best choice, because not only you are gaining experience on how they work you can now also gain knowledge about trading and stuffs. I agree with the "learning to trade" part. But one should start small with that. A solid start is putting 60 to 70% into coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum or AiCoin, and using the rest to learn how to trade with altcoins. There are different timescales for trading for different types of people. I personally prefer a mix of long-term HODL and swing trading, as day-trading eats up too much time that I could spend learning other things.
AiCoin is perfect for "buy and forget forever" type of investments, Bitcoin and Ethereum can be long-term HODL as well as swing traded quite well, day trading works too with them, but that's not my jam.

ibought bitcoins using dollars and invest it through BCC and bitcoin...
the BCC one is on the rack .. it grows as big as 150% now
but the bitcoin is not that lucky ... its going down for about 24 hours now ....
loosing value on it is loosing my dollars i invest on this :(

Honestly in my opinion holding is your best bet. If you're looking for other "investment" options you can hold your bitcoins on freebitco.in and accrue around 4% per year just to have them there. Also investing in the bankroll of a popular / reputable gambling site can earn you a bit of extra coin as well. You also have the option to use the various exchanges to mess around with alt-coins but that's a whole different ball game. Investment requires risk, and the least amount of risk would be to hold your coins and wait my friend.  8)

Yeah that'll probably the best option to do since in the wallets you can set certain amounts of Bitcoin exchange for it whenever you're away. So that you don't have to constantly monitor the prices of it. You just have to set it in the desired value that you wanted for it.

There's no such a thing as garanteed return in the crypto world. Maybe in traditional financial market you get almost garanteed profit, but only 2 to 5% a year.

You might want to day trade with alcoins, margin trade, lend in an exchange for some profit or just hold. All has it's risks and rewards.

With altcoins you can never be sure, only believe in. One day it is in the list of top ranked altocins and another day it is not. There is a high competition among altcoins today. I thought Litecoin is on the top half year ago, but where it is now?? Nobody even talk about it anymore.

Investing in altcoin, especially at this point where most altcoin is declining is best strategy to invest bitcoin. Because then we will have double profits, from altcoin to btc and btc to fiat. For example right now, i am investing in LTC and XRP. If someday they jump, then i make that profit.

yeah there are a lot of ways to invest in bitcoin but only one of those sources looks rational today  first you could miner your own bitcoins.2nd you could buy some from an exchange. Third you could buy share in a fund that has invested in bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital currency and it is the age of new technologies also a lot of sites are there to guide you well in this regard.

Aside from buying Bitcoin and holding it till its price rise again, trading is also a good investment. Use your Bitcoin to buy altcoins when their price is still cheap then sell it when the price pumps or you can also hold it it the price rise to the moon. But trading is very risky. If a new to cryptocurrency would want some profit from investment, then I suggest just holding your Bitcoin. This is because you are still unexposed to the nature of investment in cryptocurrency. It is way too risky. Altcoins may be an option but still it is too risky. Better to get familiarize with the environment first before jumping to a much more complex environment. i choose bitcoin investment very nice and great oppotunity as saving investment because bitcoin are now still in the good movement the world of the crypto currency keep increasing the price value, money also is a good investment but i use money for my daily needs because bitcoin not accepted by other retailer as payment.

I agree with you especially if you're not a skilled trader, it's better you invest in bitcoins and leave your investments for at least some decent number of years like 2-5 years and I'm sure you'll realize great profits afterwards per the current statistics.

Best strategy ever. We could think it as a passive income but now it really needs a big amount of money unlike past years because the price of bitcoin is too low so you can own a bitcoin but now it is very difficult unless you do have that big amount of money. Just store it in your wallet with private key then just let it be there for almost  2-3 years then try to see what the value of it after years

you can invest in gambling sites or rent a hash miner you can also invest in ico project because I don't really know many investments are receiving bitcoins. but I think holding bitcoin is the best investment because you do not need to do much and just need to see bitcoin growth.

surely their is no 100% guarantee of return of investment but you cannot say that trading is risky , well investments have risks but trading is not  , it only requires skill, experience and a good knowledge of value that needs some time as investment .

I have some choice the good investment with bitcoin, it is best choice for me which are trading altcoins on the altcoins exchangers, saving bitcoin for long time be taken from the profit trading altcoins and invested into the icos projects.
