The most expected,and maybe most important day for BTC  is today. What are you expecting is going to happen post 1st Aug?

Exactly today is the an important day for BTC users, observing the market and the bitcoins price now i expect that the bitcoins price will going to boost high after august 1.

I think BTC will rise until the fork, once everyone gets their BTC and the fork issue subsides, there will be a small DIP in BTC as people cash in to buy their favorite altcoins and BCH will dip heavily then at the bottom the Bitmain and JIhan Whales will wait to collect all the dumped BCH and become richer than they already are in a PUMP. All those caught in between and selling at a loss are screwed, so hold your coins and ONLY SELL anything for profit.  ;D ;D

I would expect Bitcoin to post one of the greatest rides in its history. It can easily breach the $3,000 level soon after and can be working towards $5,000. Now, that can be one of the most optimistic predictions we can have so far (yet still realistic).

That is if nothing really dramatic can happen that can stopped the expected growth of our beloved Bitcoin. So far, things are getting clearer what to expect and once we can be behind this dramatic phase I am sure that the market would be reacting with some relief and positive anticipation of things to come.

Bitcoin continually defied many odds and this can be the same thing for the rest of the year. In November, there can be another round of changes but I am sure Bitcoin can easily hurdle the coming challenges so that 2018 can be its major year for expansion.

I think bitcoin will rise, because segwit is implemented and tx are faster and cheaper.

BCC will fall very deep bacause every trader will sell them for profit (huge dump), but after that it could be pumped again to get the creators some profit (don´t fall for it)

I think that in the short term, bitcoin will fall. People have been swapping alts for bitcoin to get some BCC. Once they have (and probably immediately sell) their BCC, money will flow from bitcoin back to alts.
And as for segwit, I think the lock-in is already largely priced-in, and we'll see a "sell the news" fall, as happened recently with LTC.

This is short-term, though. Medium-term will see a big rise.

At the time of split occurred on this August 01, all bitcoin users would expect the development of technology to the maximum so as to facilitate more transactions.

today bitcoin is "upgrading"  on it's transaction gateway so i hope after 1 august accident past more people come into bitcoin and make bitcoin bigger and stronger with big community.

most people said that this day the price of bitcoin will drop but the fact i just checking the price through my blockchain wallet bitcoin at level 2800 dollars. even 2 days ago tge price around 2600 -  2700 $ . what's going on with btc prices?

I don't expect big changes. Already as we're into the 1st of August we haven't encountered any split yet and no big changes were observed. Hope the same continues and profit the users who has been holding with trust. The price moving towards $2900 seems good for the users and the same helps with a positive hope for users who were in fear about the historical day.

We can observe the market but it will only make us nervous for we can't buy or sell anything till the thing is done, right? even if we could, I think these would have been a risk of having our btc lost today, so I wouldn't do that. I agree the price will go up. At least today. After it is successfully implemented, I believe lots of people will do what they always do  - sell high. This will result in the drop of price for a week, I guess, and then bitcoin will recover.

the price now is very tempting ,I think peole are waiting for big chance to take their profit. Of course we all expecting that the price will climb to around $3k or more. And right now, ofcourse there's a plenty of people have their selling net, at a certain price. everyone are waiting a rocket to launch.

after the fork maybe bitcoin will have a short fall down because of some panic of other btc user. But when it recovers from a short downfall im very sure that the price of bitcoin will go fly to the moon as it is expected. Lets think positive.

People will sell their Bitcoin profits and get into Alts. Alts shall rise!

I'm expecting that this is now the way bitcoin to break the wall of $3,000 and it will become stable on this rate for this year. This is now the rise of bitcoin and with the alt coin that will split. That is just going to empower bitcoin's demand by making those people sell that and will move to bitcoin. I want to sell now but as advise, I won't.

today (Aug 1st) was only important when BIP148 danger was a thing but since SegWit adoption grew to a complete 100% there is no longer any danger and nothing important.
there is only 1 change today and that will be the fork called bitcoin cash. the importance of this will be shown after a while (probably a month from now). and how the price, the mining, ... will react to it. for example it is interesting to see which miners will support this fork for real and why would they do it when they would be losing money.

Today as of now. Our speculations are answered. When bitcoins Almost 3000$ price now and BCC start dumping now 250$ Dump in price
So expect more higher price in Bitcoins that now ralease the barrel to jump more higher price 3,00$ to 3500$ trading margin. And know some of altcoins get recover in bitcoins fork like Ethereum slowly up.

I believe that Bitcoin is going to sharply rise in its' price. By the time REcoin launches (7-th Aug) we will see whether Bitcoin will go up or down for sure.

There is definetely gonna be some volatility on markets such as in 7th august some real estate company(REcoin) is released.

Nothing to be expected, as usual the value of btc will always vary. Let's just see for the coming days.

Whatever happens hopefully bitcoin stay to be the pride of many people, as well as the better the role for many people. Seen now the bitcoin price is almost reach $3000, this is amazing.. I hope bitcoin stays at a high price, more advantages it gets from it, there is nothing to disturb the high value of bitcoin price. The bitcoin transaction is now being disrupted and i make sure this it will end soon and the transaction can be smoothly again.

This is quite true bitoin will get to finally break the resistance of the $3000 wall and should we have a chain split i think the new Bitcoin cash could help bring in more demand for bitcoin through its catchy name , it might be too early to speculate but those are my expectations.

I agree, finally it will break its resistance and hopefully reach a new ath. Actually Bitcoin cash might be of great help for bitcoin itself, as far as what I've read if the split does happen anytime soon or within the day everyone who gets BCC will most likely dump their coins.

Well, it is not going to shake Bitcoin too much, as REcoin is a much more specialized crypto, which will have its' own narrow field of usage.

Do you really think so? I mean. R.L.Y.???? REcoin's significance is hard to overrate and their possibility of mining is that awesome so I think you'd better think b4 you speak.

I'm not familiar with REcoin but how will it affect Bitcoin market in general?


This is all what we are expecting after Aug 1. Transaction should be faster at least so that the price can really go up and touch $3000 or more. It would be really amazing for most of us who stayed with bitcoin and I think this is kinda rewarding seeing that price or even more. Of course, bitcoin price can always be disrupted again in the future, but for me it will just conquer everything   they put in front of it.

When all segwit block finished, i hopes there no more related issue in future, and cost for confirming transaction would be more cheaps. Trust on bitcoin going to raising and investing more secure, and last one price would be raising.

My prediction for the near future of Bitcoin:
* transactions will be speedier
* fees will be middle of the road not tiny, and not excessive
*the price will Skyrocket!  By October 31 btc will be $3500 and by November $4,000 and beyond.
* Bitcoin cash will plug along, persistent and resilient however it will not see the same values as Bitcoin.

I expect after 1 Aug this bitcoin will run normally again or rise again, because a few days back bitcoin slightly fell because of issue segwit 1 august

Right on the money I'm thinking. Could not agree more!

major expectation is there will be a new coin and that is BCC, as per BTC I expect that its value will go down for a following days or eve a week, but for sure BTC will go on its right track and go forward and also its value will go surge up high :)

I expect the exchange rates to cross $5,000 per coin by the end of this year. And I expect Bitcoin Cash to become the no.2 crypto-currency, displacing both Ethereum and Ripple. Even now, BCH is having more number of users when compared to either ETH or XRP.

As we move forward from August 1, I can see that there will be more activity and transactions would begin to pick up once again. Everything went smoothly so that should erase whatever FUD some had prior to yesterday. There's so much to look forward too and the price could react in a positive way and might head further north in the weeks or months to come.

I think that bitcoin is less likely to have any changes. The bitcoin price might go down for some time after the fork but most probably it will bounce back and even pass the highest value that it has reached before within a couple of months or so. I sure hope that the transaction confirmations would be faster and with a minimal fee. As of now, bitcoin cash won't have much impact but I guess sooner or later we will be able to see the opportunities enclosed with it.

Maybe, for the meantime, BTC will experience a demand not as high as it was before since more people are trading their Alts for BCC right after the fork. I am still expecting that BTC will eventually climb uts way up once again. BTC's demand willbsurely increase maybe months after the dumps that we are experiencing.

Why dump bitcoin cash? The market clearly wants bitcoin to scale and there is too much disagreement in the community to adjust to the needs of the market. Traditionalists will still have their bitcoin while others will have their forked versions.

It's not a matter of choosing one or the other. Perhaps there will be multiple versions of bitcoin that will rise.

Well after August I was expecting a price rise or a price drop. A lot of people thought that bitcoin cash was going to be the end of bitcoin and how everyone would just swap over to bitcoin cash and the bitcoin price would fall. Instead what actually happened was that people just got free bitcoin cash and no one moved over. The price is the same as always and August the first just got people so free bitcoin cash.

This may be a sign of 2 or even more versions of bitcoin co existing and that will be interesting.

Since the fork is already done. I was expecting that the price bitcoin would rise to 4000-5000$. Since the fork has been successful this could possibly happen this year. Bitcoin will continue to be king in the digital currencies. I'm excited about it.

I hope that all the dust spread through out last two weeks would get settled and BCC would just disappear in next few dys.Already,BCC supporters are disappointed with most exchanges announcing tht they won't support BCC.Bitcoin is once again going to survive successfully and i'm just waiting to see bitcoin's price reaching very high targets like $3,500 and even more.

From this segwit time I know that btc have a surprise to every bitcoiner that in a couple of time bitcoin will flash back to its ratings.And maybe the ratings will amazed to every bitcoiners.And bitcoin will be the first welknown coins in the world.That bitcoin will be popularized because it makes easy things to do transact everything.

Indeed, I don't see any reason to dump BCH off the bat. Like any other alt, it will probably have its day in the sun.

I don't think it has great fundamentals, though. In general, I'm opposed to hard forks and would prefer to see more scalable solutions than increasing the block size. If BCH can take the XT-Classic-Unlimited-r/btc contingent of the community, though, I think that would be a worthwhile split. It's best if communities with antithetical positions split up in the long term.

In the short term (weeks, months) it's really difficult to say what will happen to BCH on the market. The DAO split in Ethereum might provide some clues...

I expected that if there would be some changes regarding bitcoin's valu after the fork, it will just be minimal and looks like it was what happened. Personally I think BCC will increase in value but not that much and with bitcoin, its value might decrease a bit for a week or few days but it would gradually increase again and could even surpass bitcoin's highest value in its history.

what we are see is bitcoin still going on the right way to increase but after correction price and BCH is making a good track after launch. i am expecting bitcoin price will increase more than yesterday and will reach $3xxxx but i know we need to see correction price first and then the price is trying to reach new price.

Yeah as what also I expected. The segwit now is clear and hope that this coming days we see more clearer sky.
Hope the price will continue to increase and hit $3000 this month.
The market right now is doing good and all the fuds like its doom day has ended. Bitcoin now is a lot stronger than ever.

The most worrying thing turned out to provide benefits for bitcoin holders. It is estimated that bitcoin will now skyrocket.

As I thought nothing changed about bitcoin and it's price, but I'm very surprise to found out newbie BCC in my online wallet this morning and to see that it's price higher than Etherum's price. Really I didn't expect that it is going to become such strong competitor for alts.

I don't care actually what's really with bch and btc is still promising one for me. For this expectation of bitcoin of price to reach at $3000 or higher, I think that will be possible now, because those speculations passed by weren't justifiable against with bitcoin splitting; so stay the same with your visions and be more positive now and don't ever losen that belt again just for unreliable sources who might divert our ideas of profitable future from bitcoin.

I was expecting that bitcoin will not dump and altcoin will pump I guess my expectation meet. Now I am happy because I took advantage of the red days and bought bunch of altcoins and I am seeing green now :D

Even though I can see a surge in the price of BCH, I am still confident about BTC for the long term and I think BCH will never reach the level of original Bitcoin users. Yes, there are lots of speculation opportunities in BCH for the short term but still, I don't see a much impressive picture about BCH. I am really happy about the reduced fees and improved transaction performance of the Bitcoin network and I see growing user base for it in upcoming future.

I expected some dip in price after the fork but market has started growing and even bcc has made a moderate start and following a good track. Keeping all these things in mind I expect market soon will uptrend.

Well isn't that a good thing to start the day after the Fork? The price as I recalled before July 31 was 2870$ at its highest meaning traders and investors are packing up their position in order to get a bigger quantity of Bitcoin Cash. So from my perspective investors didn't mind the August 1 bad news and other scares brought by some other traders, instead they took the opportunity to buy mostly when it was priced around 1800$ recently but it quickly got back up within 3 days.

the bitcoin 2724 now i mean will some correction on 2400 but yes 1800 also possible and after it will begin starting to the moon

Not temporary, but stable alternative is REcoin:real estate cryptocurrency which does rly allow you to make transactions w/out any queue.

If you are talking about $3000 then yes it will reach there in August. Because as the people are coming to bitcoin in the huge traffic so clearly we can say that these people are willing to invest. So the price will reach to $5000 BTC in the ending of the year. So yes you are right brother it will reach to $3000 in the end of August which will be the biggest challenge to every currency.

Well, I expect that the pruce of bitcoin will increase after the fork. In addition to that, many people think that bitcoin would not survive in the future but I still believe in the potential of bitcoin to become best currency in the whole world. Lastly, I also expect that many people will invest in bitcoin.

I'm like everyone, there are also some expectations at Bitcoinsau on August 1, wish that later Bitcoin will go up well, develop well. First of all, in terms of its value, I hope Bitcoin prices can surpass $ 3000 and remain at that level for a while, at least until next year. I also want bitcoin growth to be a little bit increased. The second is about transaction speed and transaction fees, not only me but many people want it to be improved with faster transaction speed so that more convenience, transaction fees drop a bit.

I am also sure that it will touch the highest peak this year. Many of my friends who were afraid of 1st August are also now expecting better future of bitcoin. My friends are requesting me to sale out them some bitcoin that they may trade in bitcoin. I expect that bitcoin will become most popular because the people have seen that 1st August was not harmful for bitcoin. I am seeing people moving towards bitcoin in future.

Bitcoin has showed us many times afterwards that it will always continue to be the King afterwards any spread fud or panic whatsoever

I hope that from now on there will be no more rumors of bitcoin. I also hope the price of bitcoin will continue to increase rapidly and stabilize again.

I keep hearing this, but what are the mechanics of it? If bitcoin holders can sell (en masse) their airdropped coins in the $300s or higher (as the case is now), that suggests that there is in fact some demand for Bcash. Every sell is a buy.

I think that the reality is this: Either 1) most BTC holders can't cash out their Bcash at these prices (they would get much less once we see liquid markets), or 2) Bcash takes part of Bitcoin's community (if a minority) and degrades Bitcoin's network effect value under Metcalfe's Law. Markets are slow and inefficient, especially with the instability around the fork, so I think it will be a while before we get a clearer picture of what will happen to Bcash.

I was actually some kind in trouble after realized bitcoin got broken into two pieces, nevertheless, there is a great Real Estate cryptocurrency REcoin announced, that they are planning to launch its own crypotcurrency after august, 7,including that is is backed by real estate, so now it's known what to expect.

I have read its' whitepaper, and found that they are giving 15% discount on first waves of coins. Seems like a good investing opportunity.

Bitcoin has been impressively resilient following the fork. I'm still expecting bitcoincash to fall through the floor and disappear in the next few days and weeks. There may still be a short term bitcoin dip though after segwit gets locked in - the same as happened with ltc.

Short term I still think there's more room for money to flow back to alts.

All disunities occurred on August 1, all bitcoin users hope that there will be bitcoin development and technology to ease the bitcoin transaction.

The promotion is not time-limited, but rather quantity limited- it will last for the first couple millions of coins, so if you hurry up on Monday, you have pretty good chances to get your share. 

After August 1 I am expecting real pump of bitcoin and other alternative coins. And that is what happening right now. The bitcoin broke the $3000 mark and pumping right now. And Later on I am really expecting alternative coins pump within several days. And if this happens, I will exchange my coins to bitcoin and later on change it into our own country's currency. Those were my expectations and some of it came true hope the other one will too.

Right now, Bitcoin is stabilizing after its' division. Can't say the same for Bitcoin Cash, which is falling in price once stock exchange starts the day.
