Exactly today is the an important day for BTC users, observing the market and the bitcoins price now i expect that the bitcoins price will going to boost high after august 1.

I think BTC will rise until the fork, once everyone gets their BTC and the fork issue subsides, there will be a small DIP in BTC as people cash in to buy their favorite altcoins and BCH will dip heavily then at the bottom the Bitmain and JIhan Whales will wait to collect all the dumped BCH and become richer than they already are in a PUMP. All those caught in between and selling at a loss are screwed, so hold your coins and ONLY SELL anything for profit.

I would expect Bitcoin to post one of the greatest rides in its history. It can easily breach the $3,000 level soon after and can be working towards $5,000. Now, that can be one of the most optimistic predictions we can have so far (yet still realistic).

That is if nothing really dramatic can happen that can stopped the expected growth of our beloved Bitcoin. So far, things are getting clearer what to expect and once we can be behind this dramatic phase I am sure that the market would be reacting with some relief and positive anticipation of things to come.

Bitcoin continually defied many odds and this can be the same thing for the rest of the year. In November, there can be another round of changes but I am sure Bitcoin can easily hurdle the coming challenges so that 2018 can be its major year for expansion.

I think bitcoin will rise, because segwit is implemented and tx are faster and cheaper.

BCC will fall very deep bacause every trader will sell them for profit (huge dump), but after that it could be pumped again to get the creators some profit (don´t fall for it)

I think that in the short term, bitcoin will fall. People have been swapping alts for bitcoin to get some BCC. Once they have (and probably immediately sell) their BCC, money will flow from bitcoin back to alts.
And as for segwit, I think the lock-in is already largely priced-in, and we'll see a "sell the news" fall, as happened recently with LTC.

This is short-term, though. Medium-term will see a big rise.

today bitcoin is "upgrading"  on it's transaction gateway so i hope after 1 august accident past more people come into bitcoin and make bitcoin bigger and stronger with big community.

most people said that this day the price of bitcoin will drop but the fact i just checking the price through my blockchain wallet bitcoin at level 2800 dollars. even 2 days ago tge price around 2600 -  2700 $ . what's going on with btc prices?

I don't expect big changes. Already as we're into the 1st of August we haven't encountered any split yet and no big changes were observed. Hope the same continues and profit the users who has been holding with trust. The price moving towards $2900 seems good for the users and the same helps with a positive hope for users who were in fear about the historical day.

We can observe the market but it will only make us nervous for we can't buy or sell anything till the thing is done, right? even if we could, I think these would have been a risk of having our btc lost today, so I wouldn't do that. I agree the price will go up. At least today. After it is successfully implemented, I believe lots of people will do what they always do  - sell high. This will result in the drop of price for a week, I guess, and then bitcoin will recover.

after the fork maybe bitcoin will have a short fall down because of some panic of other btc user. But when it recovers from a short downfall im very sure that the price of bitcoin will go fly to the moon as it is expected. Lets think positive.

I'm expecting that this is now the way bitcoin to break the wall of $3,000 and it will become stable on this rate for this year. This is now the rise of bitcoin and with the alt coin that will split. That is just going to empower bitcoin's demand by making those people sell that and will move to bitcoin. I want to sell now but as advise, I won't.

today (Aug 1st) was only important when BIP148 danger was a thing but since SegWit adoption grew to a complete 100% there is no longer any danger and nothing important.
there is only 1 change today and that will be the fork called bitcoin cash. the importance of this will be shown after a while (probably a month from now). and how the price, the mining, ... will react to it. for example it is interesting to see which miners will support this fork for real and why would they do it when they would be losing money.

Today as of now. Our speculations are answered. When bitcoins Almost 3000$ price now and BCC start dumping now 250$ Dump in price
So expect more higher price in Bitcoins that now ralease the barrel to jump more higher price 3,00$ to 3500$ trading margin. And know some of altcoins get recover in bitcoins fork like Ethereum slowly up.

I believe that Bitcoin is going to sharply rise in its' price. By the time REcoin launches (7-th Aug) we will see whether Bitcoin will go up or down for sure.
