Thanks for the update.  This project looks interesting and good to know they're hitting their timeline.  People should note though... you cannot sign up if you're in the US.   :-[

This has always been an issue in crypto investments. Every ICO I've seen has a checkbox for the participant to say he is not from the US. Now with the recent SEC regulation news, I think this will be even more common (not allowing people from the US).

Land of the free... so sad.  Of all the countries to be so antagonistic to crypto.  I've said it before in other threads; I believe there will soon be a massive transfer of wealth from Silicon Valley to other countries because of this.

I guess that’s what happens when Bitcoin receives a pump. When the pump happens the popular Altcoins get their prices up while the price of the not so popular coins go a little lower than normal because people are trying to get their money out of that coin and getting their money through Bitcoin.

I don’t really invest in Altcoins that much because the price of those types of coins usually have wild swings and its pretty easy for a whale (large investor) to purchase a whole bunch of coins and ruin the price of the coin also the project as well.

I don't see the price mooning, because this release of the platform has been price into the price that is why there is no significant increase in the price, long term the project is solid but for now I think the price will be stable, the price will then increase has more users join the platform

Same thing happened to me.  I was able to eventually sign in... even from a US IP address.  Curious how far I could take it with a VPN if I really wanted in.  But... there are so many other ICO's to look into!

What are you talking about, are you planning on purchasing ICONOMI,i do not really remember whether they banned investors from US,but i am pretty sure that most of the new ICO cannot accept funds from the citizens of US, good to hear that they have kept their promise and we might see a surge in price .

Iconomi is the one of the promising project. I mean i like the team, and the mentor. Very profesional in my opinion. Does the platform already opened for the public user? Can you confirm about that? That's a good update.
ICNP already alive. I will believe each iconomi worth over $5

Agreed, $5 is within striking range by the end of the year. Add more users and stabilize platform should get them there.

Could anyone please explain what this is about? Do they invest in other coins and that's the way they will generate revenue?

If you're familiar with Index investing in a fiat stock market it is a similar concept that Iconomi uses for their platform. Professional managers create indexes that hold crypto assets and shares can be purchased by individuals. It makes sense since there are so many crypto projects. It is hard to pick the winners/losers, so buying a big bundle of them through an index fund would be nice.

Can someone tell me how to get a staff member to Video Verify me? I want to deposit funds, but it says all staff are busy? What do you have to do?

While this may seem new in the world of crypto, this is nothing new, many banks and other financial institutions no longer accept american citizens as investors or users for the simple reason of having to comply with all the ridiculous requirements of the american law.

I just looked at their fund offerings. Their management fee is 3% (!!) for the standard fund and 20%!!! For the other one. No one will buy into these at those rates. Plus they posted their exact portfolio composition so you can just buy into all the same coins at the same percentages and save yourself 3%.

The US is a great country to make money, but with all the laws and regulations that country has it is becoming harder for the American people to live there, I remember reading a book that said that living in the US and to not violate some law during the day was impossible.

So I might have to eat my words in my previous post (or someone from iconomi saw the light). Apparently they've hired a new (experienced) investment manager so their fees might be more reasonable.

Now if they could only get listed on another big exchange they might have a chance

You do not have to take back what you said, you just expressed your opinion about what was the information available at the time, if things changed in a matter of days then it makes sense that you have adjusted your opinion regarding the topic of their fees.
