ETH has a service and provides a platform. BCC is no different than the other bitcoin clones out there. It might be a good product but hard to excel when you don't really distinguish yourself.

In this comparison i can very well say that bitcoin cash is far better and it is a currency but that is not the case with ETH,it is not currency by any means and it is a platform creating tokens for companies and that is not the case with bitcoincash,we might see a good valuation in the future but it has surpassed the price of ETH on the very first day itself. :)

I think bcc can not beat eth. Of course eth will win. Do not be surprised at this time the bcc price is high but my prediction how many months later bcc will be under eth.

I think for now, BCC is still far to catch up with ETH. ETH has been in the market for so long that its actually trying to catch up with BTC and BCC being new in the market it still far away from reality to catch up and we don't need to debate who's the best at the moment, just use your common sense and think which one is the better one.

Every day Ethereum was 5% decline and over the last few and in this week there has been a 15% decline, and this decline because to investors more glance at bitcoincash which is the result of bitcoin split.
But I think bch for now can't compete with etherum but if bitcoincash is more popular and many are looking for it may be bch can compete with etherum.  :)

Let's not discuss the future of BCH / BCC ,, to discuss ETH alone seems a bit difficult to see its current development. But if I have to choose, I will choose ETH that will have better potential. Since we all know, there are a lot of new altcoins emerging from the ICO stage. And they use ETH as its token base. Then what can BCH / BCC do now? I do not think so.

Comparing these two Eth and BCC, Eth is for sure is the best. As until today Ethereum is still alive for the years its in the market. We already observe the progress of Ethereum for the past months/years of its uptrend and downtrend while BCC is new. So we have to see the movement of this BCC for a long time first before we conclude or judge its development.

What should we talk first is about the product. Which is better? ETH is a platform, people can build smart-contract  and launch altcoin through it. But, so far BCH / BCC is only another altcoin. I do believe, who has best offer / service will lead the other, and BCH / BCC has small possibility to beat ETH so far.

It's all the same, both are just altcoins there's no difference among this shit  ;)

Bitcoin cash is being supported only by the whales and not form the huge bitcoin community. What i think is that the whales are manipulating and pumping the price of BCC but it wont last long whereas ETH has been in the market for quite a long time and has proved it potential by staying on the second rank for quite a long time. ETH has greater potential than BCC and so Ethereum will win the race on the long term.

Market cap cannot tell you what is the best and this would be a mistake to compare these two very different coins.

BCC is a newcomer and many pros and cons, some exchanges many don't support it as well. I think ETH will win. BCC like a joke, People interested in BCC just for free money :D

BCC cant beat eth, because it is a joke, even the launching is a clusterfuck. When eth launched, it had an official wallet already while BCC ddn't have one. People are only interested in BCC just because it is free money, and it is a fork from the bitcoin we had before august 1 and now bitcoin is also improved. In terms of profitability, it would still be better to buy ETH, BCC pump looks like it is manipulated.

For me as long i get profit from both ethereum and bitcoin cash its the best so dont compare the both coins guys aslong everybody is benifit thats the best.

I do not think BCC will beat ETH, BCC is air in my view, while ETH is the most popular coin used to buy ICO tokens since it has a powerful network and community.

BCC has just been launched and it's value is still not final as it started with $300 and now it crossed $700+ without the market estimate and people till now have not yet traded their coins. ETH's market is stable since years and it's better to rely on something that has a stable market and buyers rather than BCC which has a lesser volume.

Since BCC is new lunching so still now I will support BTC.I am not thinking about BCC at this moment.I am looking for pumping Bitcoin.I hope BTC big pumping after few months.

ETH has a solid community now. And dozons of icos have been on the ETH platform. BCC cannot beat ETH of course. Besides, they are different.

Etherium is a huge platform with a gig support and a BCC is another altcoin with no future, unlike pump and dump.

This match up is going to be good. But I think ETH is better for now but only because BCH has just been born. We have to wait for 5 months maybe to be able to tell whether ETH is really better than BCH. Remember that BCH is a copy of BTC. That is something we cannot discount.

And you may consider it as a part of developmemt of Bitcoin in terms of price and transaction in the market. Just like how ethereum deals with splitting it may result a good thing in Bitcoin price and transaction where it may balanced the transaction made in the market. In other words supply matters. There really is no reason to link those two coin specifically. Actually have a lot of differences. So if you're trying to choose from one of the other, I guess Bitcoin cash is in its momentarily popular stage based on novelty and the fact that it's brand new, the popularity and the price changes might stick around for a while and they might just left off until no one cares about it all.

ETh has been around obviously for a while has a lot of it was something of a special coin when it first came out the price seems to hold pretty study, but trust me you have a huge list of coins out there to choose from so don't narrow a list at just two Coins. There are many coins like Ripple  / DGB which really  has very good future.

You can't compare the both, BCH will not be able to beat any altcoins, the current price of BCH going down and it's just going to be a shitcoin. so don't expect coins BCH and in my opinion the best it's still ETH
 

ETH is still the best altcoin and BCC is just clone of BTC. I don't think that BCC has a special advantage that can make the price so high at the first day BCC appears and now the price is fallingl. There are rumors that on August 8th there will be a massive sell that will make the price of BCC down again.

I cannot tell right now because I am considering the fact that Ethereum would be mined continuously while Bitcoin Cash has limits. Personally, my choice is Bitcoin Cash... I have no analysis regarding it but as a Bitcoin enthusiast I value Bitcoin Cash because it is my dividend. After the SegWit lock in period I expect prices to seesaw; Bitcoins might bullish and Bitcoin Cash might go otherwise. But I don't care about the latter  ::)

I do think the ETH will be much better, as we know, many ICO project use ETH as the payment for ICO tokens, and I do not know any application of the bcc. So I do not know why you are so confused to make this choice.

I am sure ETH is still more appreciated than BCC as ETH has a good roadmap for 5 years, and there are many investors interested. I think BCC is just an altcoin pumped from the developers but they have not yet developed a roadmap for this altcoin.

I think ETH will overcome Bitcoin Cash because Bitcoin Cash is basically an update of Bitccoin, People bought BCC and made a bump because BCC is new and so many people said that "Bitcoin Cash does have a future".

Bch needed more years to prove itself in the market like eth did in past few years.

The coin much more stable than BCH> Smart contract in eth platform has created hundreds tokens listed in exchnager too. SO from this point BCC or BCH is nothing. Definitely Ethereum, it's far more stable, has been around for a while. Bitcoin Cash is mostly acting as a Bitcoin failed copy-cat which turned out to be a crappy Altcoin, with most of its users dumping it. I don't think there's any future for it.

BCC is a newborn. It's hard to say something about it as it needs more supporters to fully realize the things it can do for the world.   

I thinking about BCC & Eth. In my opinion Eth is reputed altcoin at present & BCC is new. I think Eth is best.

All things in our life are from beginning become to popular with community, so why you think Bitcoin Cash can't growth as Ethereum from 2015 until today? I am for Eth also. BCC or BCH is only pure hype in my opinion. Before they are pushing the bitcoin plus, so what happened now? I mean this bcc is another altcoin and its popularity will subside or already weaning now.

How can we compare some fork of bitcoin (that is about 10th fork already) with huge project like Eth.

Why would compare BCC to ETH.? Theres already a clear winner on here. I would really go ETH for sure since its being for years now compared on BCH it might be new but we cant still be sure on its future usage and to its price. Oh come on man BCC is not a big giant. Thats not true in all dimension of universe. BCC is complete flop show after the hard fork happened. Just look at the data of it on coindance or elsewhere to get the feel of it. Its draining and there is no mining of blocks really. You need know although Bitcoin Cash is a split of Bitcoin and new type of Bitcoin. But it's changed blocksize from 1MB to 8MB, different Bitcoin original. So we can't confirm 8MB blocksize better than Bitcoin after SegWit upgrade to 2MB blocksize or not?

How can anyone compare BCC with ETH. We have seen eth facing many issues and how they have recovered. The fact that it raised its price upto where it is now can be considered as trust of the community. On the other hand we do not know what lies ahead of bcc. it is still too early to see that. The people that are mining the coin know how to read the spec's of a certain coin and they don't just mine any coin out there because it won't be as profitable when compared to mining Bitcoin.

People say that it might cost $1,000 per Ethereum later in the year though I am not trying to rely on their inputs on the price just so I could make money from what they're saying.

It seems like a bunch of people are only in this for the money, if someone was really interested in Ethereum then they would be building contracts and testing the network with certain transactions just so they can help improve the technical features that the project has.

The price will go up if more people were actually helping out the project instead of leeching onto money all the time.

If you look at the altcoins in the bounty section almost all of them are created under the hold of ETH.
So I would rather pick ETH than creepy BCC who have no originality when it comes to names. Ethereum made their own and they proved they are worthy for the 2nd place. This BCC is just a new coin, it have so much to go through before they can get the trust of the users here.

Well, Bitcoin Cash is an altcoin created from China, and we also know China is country always make market feeling surprise with their coin.
Example: in recently NEO (from China too) has pumped to high price and many people get rich from it. Some people call it is "Ethereum version 2.0".

That's incorrect. Can you prove that BCC was in fact created from China? BCC is a continuation from old Bitcoin chain that does not go with Sigwit2x. It wasn't created but technically "left alone" and renamed as BCC.
ETH will be superior to all the alt coins and it will be the standard to match in terms of application. As more and more projects being worked with ETH as their base, ETH will become a 2nd Bitcoin very soon. Some BTC wallets will start to include ETH into their protocal. ETH will leave the rest of alts behind them very very soon. In years to come we would not know which Alt will survive, but i strongly believe ETH will be there as a strong competitor to Bitcoin.

Lately bitcoins transaction times AND fees have been completely absurd. If that doesn't change for the better (and probably won't since they are not proposing any reasonable solution for the scalability problem - segwit2x is only gonna solve the problem for a small time frame), i hope Bitcoin Cash triumphs in the future. I want a coin everyone can use, anywhere and anytime - with fast and cheap transactions, so you can use it to buy day-to-day stuff, do groceries and stuff like that.

It is kind a good speculation about the comparison of altcoin but actually there are some possibilities that it would happened or not. If you are prefer to buy and to manage your coin with a suitable planned and good objective it could be a sure success and you can make a good profit out of it with no time. And if you are really in to trading or investing the only thing matters is how you are going to manage it and your goal in life.

With the current situation, I think the BCH will lead the fight in the market at this time. At the beginning I had a bad opinion about the BCH but now the new context is opened and I appreciate the BCH

BCH has a lot to prove as a new coin that very few people already sold off and mistrusted from the beginning. So it will pour in a lot of effort to ensure old enemies are won back and new believers are installed. But ETH already has a base and just needs to lock itself in. By the way, a lot of ETH people are also BCH people. So there is no direct competition there.

According to my assessment, from what is given eth or bcc, all agree that for now eth is better than bcc, but we never will be what happened in the future, we will see what can bcc offer.

I really wouldnt call Bitcoin cash to be a giant in spite having a higher price as compared to ethereum . BCH needs more time to build a loyal community or have supporters that will chip  in for it, we are yet to see how BCH can hold up when demand increases. Afaik ETH is too much of a bigger project than BCH as can be seen by upcoming projects being built on the eth network...and honestly I do not think bitcoin cash stands a chance.

Ethereum and BCC are both coins very good. both coins are crawl up the price but i prefer Ethereum because Ethereum has a smart contract and very many Enthusiasts. hunter and miner Ethereum is very much and this can boost price Ethereum.

Ethereum rose after the popularity of Bitcoin. I think this two are really rivals. Both laying good platforms in each and others campaign. In the future, I really would invest in these two. I believe that Bitcoin Cash will win. Just look how it has grown now these past few days. BCH growth rate is higher than that of ETH. Therefore, it is an indicator for me that says BCH will win. My fearless forecast, BCH will overtake ETH, it could happen this year or maybe by next year.

I don't understand why you compare ether with bitcoin cash. They're torally different assets with different features and purposes. Bitcoin cash is a soft fork of bitcoin and it provides no benefit to the users, but ether has unique solution with smart contracts as you all know.

I think BCC's value wont last that much given after 3 week its release its price already changed much. Starting from $294 it went as low as $212 and then spike to $700. I agree with what you say, though bitcoin cash is experiencing a soaring price but ethereum is not, I still choose ethereum as currency despite the low eth price, ethereum like a kid with his father named Bitcoin, in my opinion.  :)

the price loses 20% in one day out of nowhere just because the whales decided they want to dump the coin and get out. and they have the power to do it too.

What exactly is the use case for Bitcoin Cash? I know what Ethereum is used for but have not heard a compelling use case for BCH other than that it is a slight technical improvement on BTC but not nearly as widely accepted.

This thread was created last year and it may not reflect current happenings. ETH is a big project and the platform mostly used for ICOs. Buy if you consider the current state of ETH n BCC,  with the intention of BCC to build support for smart contract which is the selling point of ETH,  if Eth do not innovate, it would be kicked out the space. Not to mention EOS... ADA.. Stratis.. It's a big battle

I think you're quite confused when comparing ETH with BCH (after renaming). Because BCH is one of BTC's hard fork, and ETH is going the other way. They are a platform for startup teams to build dapps on their smart contracts

ETH is the best altcoin so i am very confident that it will remain the best among the rest of altcoin and no one altcoin can beat it, investing on other altcoin is also a good decision but eth will be have more bright future than to other alts.

Since I started holding Cryptocurrencies, I have bought BCC just once in my life and I converted later to ethereum, it's not that I don't like it, but the fact is that ethereum is easier for me to use, added to the fact that many good tokens starts in the ethereum blockchain, ethereum has a long way to go when it comes to scalability but it is gradually getting there.

Before you decide who would be the best in the future, you should also consider which has been the best in the past and which has delivered more innovation to Blockchain technology in general, ETH would definitely be the winner in such a competition with a landslide victory.

Any coins have challenged ETH yet they are no where to be found. Most promised high TPS etc yet ETH still remains number 2. I think what matters is what the team is capable of doing as well as their level of expertise. It will be hard for BCC or any other coin to beat ETH on the long run because ETH is constantly improving.

I'll opt for ethereum. There's no way BCC will overcome ethereum no matter what because they lack the experience. I know everything is possible in cryptocurrency and anything can happen but if BCC wants to be the king of alternative coins then it needs to work tremendously.

I got into the crypto thing long time ago and I have been observing many coins closely. ETH has been pretty incredible and I think like it went to the moon back in the boom in 2017, it has more chances to go even higher than that. Bitcoin cash on the other hand is goof than Litecoin but not good than ETH. ETH is the coin that was about to give Bitcoin a tough time in market cap back then.

Time has an important way of showing what is real and what is not, looking back at the year of the OP, Ethereum is still here doing okay currently the 2nd most used cryptocurrency, while BCC is no where to be found. Depends on how you look at it. BCH is touted to be faster and big blocks as compare to BTC and if it going to be adopted then it could be one of the best. Bitcoin is the best, because it is the King and the backbone of crypto. However, Ethereum is a good or the best option among altcoins. I don't think Ethereum will be beaten by other altcoins in years to come (within next 2 to 5 years, IMO). I said this because Ethereum is the backbone of ERC20 tokens, for now, but it might be upgraded and expanded to more platforms, not only ERC20-based platforms.

This both coins that you have mention are different so you can`t say who will be the best, ETH is the platform provider to the developers and BCC is the duplicate of bitcoin created due to fork to BTC. and BCC dont have life until its blockchain gets confirmation and this is also been accepted by the miners too.

Bitcoin cash was found close to ethereum during the early months of 2019. Further the growth took place in a gradual way. Suddenly a big price pump took place making the market price of bitcoin cash grow with a difference of more than $100. I agree with you, because in my opinion ETH is the most popular blockchain for now and many projects are using ETH blockchain, so I make sure ETH will be the best and no one can replace it including BCC, therefore I prefer to invest in ETH than BCC, because I believe investing in ETH will definitely give me a big profit in the future.

After the POS the value of ETH will not go up like in the last bull run and I have enough arguments for this case. I doubt the investors will prefer to invest in the Ethereum just because of the ERC-20 tokens choose ETH platform. Miners will leave to mine and they will go for other pow coins. Most startup project in the crypto industry have been using the ETH to raise funds during ICO and ITO which shows high demand for ETH. ETH have lot of use cases  and unlike the BCC . in my opinion ,BCC will find it difficult to replace the ETH in market capitalization

Since the turn of 2018, alot of DAPP projects and ico hosted on Ethereum network has left for its own chain eg (bnb, stellar) and the rest leaving for the stellar, Tezos and bnb chain, Ethereum has witnessed a serious blind and looks to recover with its upcoming Ethereum 2.0 upgrade. I don't think BCC will beat ETH, now ETH is far superior compared to BCC where the community is very large and the team is solid. even on the market ETH is still very much in interest compared to BCC. for now I think it's very difficult for BCC to beat ETH, but in the future nobody knows.

I have in mind that eth is better than bcc because eth is more real and has a pretty good global price, whereas bch is a new kid in the crypto world it will be difficult to catch up to eth because people believe more in him. and eth is still far below btc but people prefer the market to use eth because it's good eth than bcc. in terms of graphics are also good.

BCH is being supported by the mining giants such as Bitmain and some of the industry heavyweights such as Roger Ver. Ethereum on the other hand is going through a sluggish phase after the destruction of the ICO market. The impact of the ICO market is not only dragging the ETH prices down, but it is also causing a drop in most of the altcoin valuations.

BCH is not being regarded as a proper "altcoin", since it was forked out of Bitcoin. It is on a separate category of its own, along with other forked coins such as BTG, BCD.etc. These coins have not fallen as much as the other altcoins during the recent times. What happening in the ICO market does not affect them, and they have by now created loyal group of cryptocurrency users for themselves.

Talk about technology and adoption, Eth I performing better than BCC. BCC is a fork of Bitcoin in a bit to scale more Bitcoin transactions I don't really know how else BCC is used. But price wise BCC is more likely to perform better than Eth. ICOs are no longer here it's affecting the price of Eth coupled with IEOs being carried out by some exchanges in their native token. Price drive for Eth has dropped its price against Btc dropped as well but BCC has been holding just fine with price.

since I got to know cryptocurency and learned about making money at the bitcointalk forum by following a bounty campaign until now, I only know Ethereum, which I always use as a wallet to store the altcoin that I got from the bounty ... and I only see Ethereum as a payment tool used by many of the founders of ICO ... then in my opinion the best is ETHEREUM ...

I choose ETH over BCC because bcc is just another piece of coin that brought nothing to the crypto industry than just causing series of confusion in the crypto world. It is after this BCC that others also forked their coin from to make things more difficult to understand by someone that just entered crypto. All thee forks don't focus on doing something good but to fight BTC which is very poor and making their projects to lag.

You're right, BCC uses a lot, because it has a supply that can be said to be a little compared to ETH, but I prefer to hold ETH, even though the supply is quite large, but ETH has potential above BCC
