I bought 20 NEO a week ago when it was below $6.9. Now it's $9. Everything that has to do with China is potential gold. That country is more of a world on its own.

I think this is one for the long term, like 2-5 years. As a whole the crypto market is incredibly undervalued and over time with more mainstream adoption it will expand hugely. Time will tell if will become "china'sethereum" but if it gets mainstream adoption there it will explode.

I am holding approx 100 NEO and I am going to hold for a couple of years.  Mine are in an exchange at the moment but I wish to withdraw to wallet to earn the shares.  Any suggestion son the wallet? Also I hear you lose 1NEO when it is withdrawn to wallet?

Use the official NEO wallet.
Are they on Bittrex?
NEO wallet can only hold whole numbers of NEO and Bittrex charges 0.35 transaction fees. You have to send 100.35 NEO to your wallet to get an even number of 100.

Which NEO wallet do you use?? I have a macbook but they dont have a Wallet for Mac. The web wallet takes hours to synchronize. I want to earn Antcoins too.

Whatever wallet you choose will take hours to synchronize.

People that are telling you to sell NEO are broke and will remain broke with that kind of mentality. NEO is so young and it is in its very early stages of development and marketing. In fact, they aren't even doing much marketing at all yet and there is still a huge community and growing every day - not JUST china!

The new website (which looks awesome) is coming out soon and they are revising and improving their wallets. The community just released the new light wallet (Neon Coz wallet) and it works very well. Holding NEO you can claim free GAS too (which is the revised ANC - Antcoin). This project has a lot of things going for it and it will be $50 by years end mark my words.

Not really, it's been relatively stable compared to all the other cryptos over the last month or so. Having said that, it can't go up forever.

At the present moment I only see 2 valuable crypto projects as undervalued.

Does anyone know more about the Antcoin GAS which it is named now. I have heard that you can only buy it on chinese exchanges. Would it also be smart to buy the gas that you will get passive, since you are using it actively?

I believe NEO now is what ETH was at the beginning of this year, or what BTC was 5 years ago. This project has the potential to blow up in China any day now. In the very near future, the Chinese will list NEO on all of their exchanges, and NEO will go all the way up to 50$, after which the whales and FOMO's will start pouring in, bringing its value up to 400$. This could happen within 2 years.

One of the co-founders mentioned in a video that they will not be focusing on a wallet for macs, but will be focusing their attention on the windows one. He said wants the community to get involved and well... the community did get involved and made one for the mac. There is a nice light wallet for the mac I saw on reddit. Yeah maybe. But I wouldn't do something you regret and sell too early? I know its your money your choice but why do you set a timeline for one month to hold one of the strongest and highest potential cryptos? Remember when Ethereum made a huge, fast gain from double digits to $200+ in a month or two? I can see NEO doing the same.

If the crypto market really takes off (which I think it will) I can see NEO being $1000+ realistically in 2-3 years. Heck, maybe sooner. Don't underestimate the power of making money, the power of FOMO, the power of new investors and widespread adoption, the power of technology, the power of the blockchain - okay you get my point.

This can all happen sooner than you think. ESPECIALLY in China. I work with Chinese suppliers for my business and we sometimes talk about crypto and they say it is absolute huge out there and people are crazy about it. The sky is the limit.

I couldn't have said it better myself! The reason eth grew so fast was because those big companies like jp morgan and microsoft announced their interest in its chain. Maybe chinese businesses will get interested in neo in the near future. In that case I expect neo to hit 50$ after the first rally, 130$ after the second, and over 500$ by the end of 2020.

Neo is indeed one of the coolest coins and is absolutely on the top of the list at bittrex. It is a great time to grab this coin before it leaves for the moon. It seems that it has the potential of producing great profits with time. I don’t think so anyone is going to sell this coin right now.

Agreed, NEO is a great coin for long term growth if the Chinese markets adopt it.

The ANC production is abit slow, and using the wallet eats one coin each deposit, but if thats fixed it will work well.

Yeah I will sell 25% my funds hold in NEO for take profit and continue holding, the current price very high so I think should keep safe my investment before it correction price, keep safe my funds always important than earning extra profit :)

There were announcements on completing rebranding on 8 August and new website (?) 10 August, and GAS went live on Binance on 9 August (I believe).

Also I think they announced their first ICO.

People look at NEO the way the looked at ETH a few months ago. It's following basically the same trajectory, so with the advantages NEO brings over ETH we all feel like NEO could be crossing the triple digit border very soon, maybe even before this year is over. ETH moved incredibly fast as soon as it crossed the 50$ threshold, so NEO could easily do the same. Ask yourself, if you could go back in time, would you buy ETH at 30$?

There's no chance of it going to Ether levels.

This is the second chance. Neo is definitely the new Eth.  Time will tell.

People will have to take profits along the way, don't expect it to keep going up without some dumps. NEO doesn't have to "kill" or be the "new" Ethereum, they can works side by side.

newbie here.   i own some NEO but it is in bittrex.  Some folks are saying that you can also earn Antshare from a local wallet? Should I move my neo from bittrex and send it to a local wallet?

NEO is the new name for Antshares. You can earn Gas, which is the new name for antcoins, by moving them to an official wallet yes.

I believe we're in a market where there's a chance most things are possible. Barely half a year ago people didn't think ETH was even going to reach 50$. They claimed LTC was dead. The reason why I believe NEO can reach and surpass ETH is because the platform is better (faster, easier and safer), and it's most likely going to be huge in Asia. As you know, the asians prefer their own applications and tech over western ones, so the Asian version of an already great product is prone to a massive growth. Last, not only microsoft, but ali express as well is talking about implementing NEO on its platform. If that would be the case, NEO would reach 1000$ within half a year.

NEO trading volume is huge. The moment domestic exchanges like OkCoin and Huobi add NEO (and they will) the price will explode.
2 of 3 largest Japanese exchanges will add NEO soon. There is a lot of room upwards.

Try and get 50-100 NEO and you can produce 0.5-1 GAS a month, then if it explodes to tripple figures for each, you can just use the gas produced every few months to buy into new ICO/ invest in coins that have large potential but you would not want to place your salary into.

Exactly, there is so much room for it to grow still. Only Bittrex has it on their exchange (western). Once other big exchanges start adding it... well then you know what's going to happen.

i have been accumulating NEO for some time now, whenever there is a dip i am there to buy it and i gotta say the orderbook is so packed right now it can not go down as much as i like it to. there is like 100BTC to just go a couple percentages lower!

C# is just friendlier than Solidity, although the latter wasn't too hard for me to learn. If NEO step up their game I could seriously see them overtaking ETH in market cap (AKA going much higher than 0.03), but this won't happen this year.

Yeh, but I mean if you go to Blockfolio there are both ANT and NEO. Obviously both at different prices.   :-\

When accumulation is going to slow down, I think the price will spike up to more than $70. Once we see it moves up, more ICO to the tokens for NEO chain will be unleashed. Adex seem to have plan to move to NEO already. Maybe one day we'll see NEO to b e accepted upon investing to new ICOs too.

Neo is not shitty coin at all. It is just having some hard time, that’s it and I don’t think so we should leave it in its hard time. Strat is also not a bad choice. Though it is currently cheap, but showing potential of reaching good values in the near future. But my vote is still with neo no matter how bad it is doing currently, it will soon rise again.

Considering how much NEO grew in such a short amount of time, It's doing well holding above $40. It's being too nice and letting people get in :D.
