I am newbie  you can explain what alticoin?

Well 1st of all altcoin are just terms for any cryptocurrency that is not btc because off course btc is the founding fathers. Altcoin also provides services to the community depending on what is its agenda and they have there own currency as payments for the transaction. You can mine then but that's another story. That's just the simplest terms but try and read more over the community and read also any other altcoins in the web to have any grasps on its concepts.

I guess it's - Alternative coin - anything that is not bitcoin ?

Everything not called bitcoin is technically and altcoin which is short for alternative coin. They are basically similar functioning coins and codes to bitcoin but because bitcoin was the first one everything is alternate to it. Not sure if thats the google definition but thats how I understand it

Altcoins is just anotber bitcoins or same as Bitcoins.   Just a explanations in your country your money country name is what ? here in Philippine money name is Phillipine Peso (PHP) the value is 0.000001 cents if you compared in other Money in world like USA the value of 1$ in usd to php is 49 PHP so 1$ to php is 49 pesos just like btc the leading crypto. Altcoins is just like that 

Simple understanding altcoin is an abbreviation for alternative for bitcoin so all of the coins out there except bitcoin is an altcoin like etherium, monero, pillar etc..even bitcoincash (bch) is considered as an altcoin.

It's just an alternate cryptocurrency with its own features and unique selling points running on a blockchain. The best returns nowadays generally come from alt coins but bitcoin is probably the safer investment.

Sir, I just want to ask, in bounties their rates are in stakes, what does this mean and how are we able to get paid with this stakes? I just don't understand this yet, can you explain to me, or to other newbies? Thank you in advance for understanding my situation sir.

if i am not wrong, stakes is like one pieces which is share to participants. in bounties, participants will do what the manager ICO wants or participants will choose what the campaign that is suit with him like you can choose facebook campaign, twitter campaign, blog media campaign, and else. from this, there are a share that you can get if the manager is approve. if the ICO is finished, then the manager will calculate how much stakes you own and then will divide with the percentage of total coins which is distributed to participants.

usually the stakes will be give after the ICO is ends and after the manager finished the calculation for each participants. for ICO which is base with ethereum, participants can add wallet address from myetherwallet or another wallet to receive the total amount of the coins. but i don't know too much about how much you will get paid because the calculation for the stakes is different from one ICO to the others so better you ask the manager of ICO.

I would simply explain it this way for you, mate. If it is not bitcoin it is automatically an altcoin. Altcoin stands for alternate crptocurrencies. It includes every other coin save for bitcoin. Even bitcoin cash is an altcoin basically.

altcoin is other cryptocoin beside bitcoin. there is so many coin you may find interest in. so you can invest not only on bitcoin, there is so many option that you can find on many side. just becarefull of scam and wish you luck.

It is easy. The first crypto-currency is Bitcoin and when Bitcoin released no one trusted it by the time people started thinking about Bitcoins, Started to think about its features like its anonymous, fast transaction speed etc. So, When the people saw that Bitcoin a digital currency is getting popular day by day many people started to make new crypto-currencies other then Bitcoin.

In my opinion, I would explain altcoin in simple forms as a cryprocurrency other than bitcon. Its a combination of two words 'alt' and 'coin',  and alt in full refers to alternative. There are close to a thousand or more altcoins with ICOs launching each and every week. That is how I simply define an altcoin.

I assumed you are typo about altcoin, it is comes from the word alternative coin  and also a cryptocurrency . You can use altcoin to earn money and exchange, and transacting for your benefits.

As far as i know about Altcoin, Altcoin almost the same as Bitcoin, the price can not be predicted to jump so quickly, can also go down very swiftly. The amount of Altcoin in circulation can also increase without anyone being able to control it. These factors make Altcoin's future being brightning i guess. Altcoin can also be an alternative for us to collect bitcoin certainly, after collected we can exchange it with bitcoin, and it's often i doing for it.

Altcoins is alternative digital coins except bitcoins because the first of digital coins is bitcoins and the other digital coins are altcoins or alternative coins, alternative coins be made for makes more complete fetures that doesn't has in bitcoins, unfortunately many developers of altcoins just makes scam coins behind and makes money from fakes altcoins on digital coins.

Altcoin is also a digital currencya, where it give profit to anyone. But they cloned bitcoin which means it is a copycat, only the difference was the value very cheap, but there some alt are not cheap to be considered like ETH, XMR, DASH, ETC, WAVES, aand others. But not as the value of bitcoin has it now.

At first,i did not know what altcoin was, as time went on,i really wanted to read more and study the world of cryptography,once i understood and studied more deeply, of course i was more intensive in this crypto world.
Technically altcoin is an abbreviation of an alternative coin which means another coin coin is useful to cover the weakness of bitcoin.

To explain it short. ALTCOIN is any coin created aside from BITCOIN. So in short any coins created aside from Bitcoin are called Altcoins. So your next question might be: Why do they create Altcoin. Why not just Bitcoin? Well some altcoins are created as a form of currency to buy their services or backup to services.

So the decision is ours if we want to patronized some altcoins.
