You shouldn't share your words phrase with anyone.
If your bitcoins have already been sent to their address, You can do nothing. You lost them forever.

I checked the address. They have received 65 BTC just in 3 days.

Awwwww, another victim of video scam so sad to know your story man, but actually this is not the first time that someone scammed in following in youtube video step by step. Man sad to say this but you can only do is contact the owner of the address and ask for you money back but for sure it is 100% impossible that you can get your money back in you wallet. Just take the lesson from that mate, do not believe in something easy money because if it is too good to be true it is not.

Please be careful not to give your wallet detail to anyone. It is very risky for your money. I see youtube account used by the hacker has been closed and it seems not only you are fooled because seen from the bitcoin address used hacker hack, many incoming transactions. There is no way to return your money unless you know who the owner of the address is.

So how do you contact the owner? By sending a letter or an email? Lol...Funny, right? That isnt possible. OP can only trace his money and then watch it move around the globe in total helplessness.

OP, sorry for your loss. Next time only part with your password or phrase if the instruction is coming from the official website of the company you are dealing with and not to some random guys online.

There should really be an international bitcoin security group that cracks down on these addresses. Maybe I should start a company..

It was so believable video that you will not reproach.
In the end, it was even shown on the blockchain wallet that BTH were also added and fraudster have BTC and BTH nearby together in his wallet.
And in time everything coincided. I do not want to blame anyone for nothing, but there is a possibility that the staff of blockchain are related to the scammers, because this video is very difficult to do.

Yesterday I wrote many reports for this fraudster's youtube channel, maybe, after them it was banned.

So what actually the video offer? or there is some software attached or websites that you are required to use?
The video now is no longer available because it was deleted by the one who made it. Mind sharing if how much BTCs did you lose. I hope this will seve as a lesson to you that you have to research first before doing something risky.

you should be careful for any activity that related with account/ wallet, it's just so much risk to following an instructions for something in wallet, especially if we doesn't have any knowledge about what are we doing.   :-X

Oh its bad. Hope that you will learn some lessons after that do not give to anyone your password just keep it yourself and never to show it to anyone. Be careful next time. Bitcoin has a good price right now so people will have a bad thinking and they will get your money and spend it to them.

your 12 word recovery phrase on blockchain.info IS your private keys. and you willingly handed over the keys to all your funds from now and future to the scammers. and let me emphasize on the "future" part again. if you continue using the same blockchain.info wallet and even if you generate a new address in it, the scammer still can steal your money because he too can generate the same address.

you need to either stop using blockchain.info or create a new account on that site now.

Scams and issues about scams have been discussed here hundred of times and I think when it comes to advice where at the full support. Never trust anyone especially on sites ans especially on youtube. Phising everywhere, stolen pass parase and being not cautions about every actions can result to a great loss of money. This is a reminder that we must be careful, no!! EXtra careful in everything. This is an online job, it is worldwide and whats lost here can be lost forever. Not everyone is kind to return what's not their and not everyone can be trusted. They are doing bad things just to survive and it's on us to be careful. I fell sorry for the loss man, this is a lesson and work hard again to compensate for the loss.

At least you learned something :) So for next time: NEVER share your private key (word phrase) with anyone. Write it down on 2-3 papers and store them in safe place.

I'm sorry for you, it's very sad.

The way i got into crypto currencies was by first reading a lot. After that, i bought for $50, tried a lot of stuff out, including backing up, restoring etc.

Once i had enough confidence in it, i started investing more and more.

The moment you share your password/ private keys /backup phrase etc with anyone, it is no more your funds. Thus it is strongly recommended not to share the credential even with the CEO of the company in which you are holding your funds (he won't need to ask for the credential of your account to steal your money by the way). The best way to maintain high-level security it to keep wallet away from the internet as much as you can since it is created (for the cold storage wallets). There are further security precautions to keep online funds safe (but it is not recommended to keep it online).

Now coming back to your case, I think you should try to find out as much as info of the video uploader. The legal proceeding might help you but I see very rare chance of it. Thanks for raising this topic on board as it will help other newbies to prevent themselves from such scams. Hope you will take precautions next time.

Sorry to hear about your loses.

But the most worrying aspect is that the scammers have stolen around $210,000 till now, and the robberies are going on even as we debate about it. The original video was taken down from YouTube by the uploaders themselves, but it will be still getting circulated through other platforms.

Trusting someone online is like giving away your money for free, never share anything that could rip you off and when it comes to crypto currency your ownership lasts as long as you hold your private key and password and if you cant keep those safe, then virtual currency is not your world ,there is no sense in buying millions of dollars of digital currency if you are not capable of safeguarding your assets.

I will suggest him the same. Scammers always are in search of innocent people who are new to trading. They give them exciting offers, showing them shortcuts of earning grand profits. We all should be really careful when someone is offering us more than what he is demanding us to do. Besides always work hard to have a grand profit than searching for the shortcuts.

You will never get back your money.
After you send Bitcoin, transaction is 100% IRREVERSIBLE.
Unfortunately, you are like the other who have been scammed (including myself).
Hopefully someday this will stop happening and there will be more security measures to stop scammers.
NEVER give your private keys or seed phrase to anyone or they can scam you.

You should have known better if you know that the private key is a 12 word pass phrase you should never have fallen for that. Why did you ? How much did you lose exactly ? I also see that youtuber closer their account. Must have got some bad comments and flags. You need to be very careful following links online esspecially when it comes to finance. There many hungry scammers that would see their own mother to make a buck. Sad but true.

Just my two cents and from experience within the cryptocurrency community. There is a reason why most people involved in cryptocurrency are insanely suspicious. The amount of phising, scams and hack attempts are ridiculous right now and aimed towards anyone that is vocal about their business in the cryptoworld. Its enough that you write on Twitter for someone to check if your email is registered on an exchange and for them to try to hack your password.

Extreme precaution, safe and extremely long passwords and 2FA is the only way you will be somewhat safe. I'm afraid that wont be enough in the long run

First you should trust no one over th internet you don't know who is behind the internet there are many people out there that takes advantages to people who's new. You shouldn't share your 12 phrase pass because it's your personal pass to access your account and if you give it to others they may stole it like what happend to you. I suggest that you should be careful from now on. Don't believe on free coins mostly they're scams there is no such thing as free right now even the faucet is not free you should view ads or answer captchas before getting your sats. That's the law of equivalent exchange you should do something in order to receive something

Omg, you should never share seeds, phrase, private key or everything related with your wallet everything to anyone. Before you do that, you should research and ask to community member. And sometime scammer use same website or almost same domain with official domain to trap a newbie user, it happened in myetherwallet. Do not trust anyone on the net and  i hope no one will get trap again

It is indeed a scam is very difficult to know if indeed we cannot intelligently in looking at all the things that exist, because it is now very much a scam expert. So if you want to get a lot of profit then it is definitely a business you have to do is to think well and do the correct analysis. Because the analysis is something a very precise prediction to see us want to gain an advantage or a disadvantage.

My advice to every one is to wait until Blockchain.info or any other reliable web service adds support for BCH. It may take one of two months. But please be patient. It is much better than losing all of your coins (both BCH and BTC) to the scammers.

Looking else where for information concerning the crypto world is bound to fail or full of regrets there have been several tutorials and thread on the forum concerning how to claim BCH but you choose to ignore all of those ones and you went outside but when you were scammed, you found your way here. I don't feel pity because its not going to make it come back but as a lesson to others who might want to ply the same route.

You shouldn't share your words phrase with anyone.
If your bitcoins have already been sent to their address, You can do nothing. You lost them forever.

I checked the address. They have received 65 BTC just in 3 days.
Yeah dude,  don't trust anyone and don't let them to know your very sacred information to them and don't share about the things that have a connection to your money because they can easily access it if they have the information you have.  Be vigilant and be aware of those scammers.

Oh man, this is so terrible, you know what scammers are just around, making techniques to those innocent one and looking for investing site or what, just like you, you were a victim of those sh*t videos, actually there were lots of video around there who posted that if you send coins here in this address  your money will be double up, but no it is their techniques. You know what sad to say but there is no other way to get your money back once you sent it to the address you mentioned unless you talk to the address' owner which is possibly impossible

That ain't good man. The thing is blockchain is not reversible algorithm and you can not reverse the transaction once it is git confirmed. Your transaction has more than thousand transactions now. Just check that address from blockchain and the tree for clear view. You will see it has gone far far from reach.

You can try to search about them over the net through tracking their BTC Address, like where from they are getting BTC. If they get anything from a site like gambling, trading or wallets then you can be able to track their names (mostly will be fake) but you can try. Then try to get deeper into info and file accusations in cyber crime.

But to be honest this will take a lot of trouble and you may never be able to track them.

Yup! before doing some step by step procedure you should read the comments first for legalization because there are scammer all over the place and the only thing that you have is your private key or password and if you share this information by let's say a phishing site or that video then that kind of thing might happen and there is no one that can help you track the thieves that got your bitcoin anymore, even if you can pinpoint the transaction location of the wallet address.

This is so sad op, I cant believe it but I am really surprised you let go of your phrase that's the most important thing ever, use electrum wallet next time. But sadly to say your coins are. All but gone, there is no way to recover this, it hurts me to see a fellow Bitcoiner loose his coins like this, it's absolutely sad but you should have been careful and not rely on such a video, I hope you reported it to YouTube so you they can take it down.

I know what you are going through but crying here will not help you. There is also no one that can help you. All you need to do is learn from your mistakes to avoid getting scam next time. Do not easily trust any investment sites. Make your own research first and avoid clicking any unfamiliar links because there are lots of phishing sites also.

The way cryptocurreny is as we know it is not secure.
Anyone can loose their funds in a millisecond.

Only way to secure yourself is to have it on a device such as a smart debit/credit card with a NFC chip enabled (http://www.smartcardalliance.org/smart-cards-applications-nfc/) or a hardware wallet.
Something like a trezor or those ledger ones.

You wont get those coins back and better to forget it because those scammers wont really tend to give back those free money that they get from users who fall into their video. As ive clicked on the link of the video it is already down by its uploader. This should really be a lesson learn for you and never ever give keys, phrases of any informations of your wallet. That's another dark and shaky side of Bitcoins that scammers cannot be arrested as bitcoin transactions and wallets are anonymous making it almost impossible to trace and then get hold of the responsible.

Most of the videos/tutorials shared after 1st August are all fake and made by scammers and they have been doing this as users are unaware of how to claim BCH. Blockchain.info itself did not release any statement about claiming BCH. It was only news sites like bitcoinmagazine and posts on reddit/bitcointalk which again can't be trusted.

Why you don't seach some guide on this Forum before doing that? You need know if you not have private key the wallet you using, you can't receive BCH, and I remember Blockchain.info is online wallet and they not give user permission keep private key wallet.

You firstly made a mistake by sharing your backup phrase. You should never do that. The transactions from your wallet are high. But I don't think, you can get your money back as Bitcoin is also known as a Anonymous currency. With just a single address we cant get the money back. This might be a serious issue and try finding as much as help possible.

It was so believable video that you will not reproach.

Is it also believable that if someone asks you to send money to an address that you do not know or do not have connection to or do not have control of that someone could be trying to steal from you? Some common sense is required here.

Maybe you could create a guide for other newbies on how not to get scammed...post it on a website and provide your address for tips (which would help you recoup some coin).

How much did you lose?

That video is no longer available, by the way, so any complaints are being heard by the YouTube team.

We have put a lot of warnings here in this forum, but still scammers are still around and people getting scammed like you. Hard lesson mate. As bitcoin users, you should know that sharing any information about your private keys, backup phrase is a no-no.

65.75523021 BTC received... in three days. Im sorry for you, but you lost your bitcoins. This is the counterpart of be your own bank.

Looks like the scammer is making a living out of it. Its gonna be hard to tracked the money if ever he uses a tumbler or a mixing services. They are smart and know what they are doing. There are other victims for sure. Just so sad to hear that people are really taking advantage of bitcoin pseudo-anonymity design.

Geez, those people even deleted the YouTube video, it says “owner have deleted account” …lol…but you shouldn’t be soo stupid to share your private info with someone else…the OP should know that. Even when creating an account, Blockchain will warn you never to share anything. That’s why I’m not interested in anything going on-online. You should do checking if the details that he give to you is legit or if the company that he is proposing to you is a good one because in this kind of scenario where bitcoin price is already high, the criminals and scammers are everywhere because they see easy money here.

Unfortunately the video is no longer there and I wanted to see what is it. As I can see from replies in this thread scammers have stolen a lot of money from different people.
Its a good thing that account/video was taken down as more people who have fallen prey to this kind of scam

Can someone please post a link to a similar video? Of course I'm not going to follow their instructions, it's just interesting to see to avoid such scammers.
Putting a similar video wouldn't be a good idea because others might want to try their method and lose out, best we do not even know about it!

Not knowing about something potentially harmful is not the best way to deal with things imo. Of course I wasn't going to follow the instructions in the video, I only wanted maybe to study it to warn my friends.

Thank you for sharing and I'm sorry this happened to you but hopefully when people like you share these things then others will not be scammed.  Perhaps if more people did this for one another you may not have been scammed to begin with.

How did it happen? So there's a tendency that it really happen when using phishing site? I sometimes use it. How can we stop them? This is the reality when it is easy to cash out from wallet to wallet. We have no idea for strong security but we usually have our identity in the wallet right? Scammers are really evil. Maybe the owner had tremendous loss of money. It's really difficult when you feel that someone had stolen your money.

Many people do everything they can to get rich quick and how to quickly earn money. Many scams happen, fraud is only done by fools who do not want to try.

That is a very bad one. I can imagine the number of people that would have fallen victim for this scam! Sorry mate!! Quite unfortunate you were one of them.

The news is so bad for those who hear it pay people to make a victim of one of them, it turns out that I am not one of them and I am grateful.

Yesterday I want get BTH on my blockchain wallet and finded video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRZHTt_lwBA&t=1s. I make step by steps by this video and as result all my money was stolen.
As I understand today thieves can do this after know my Backup phrase of 12 words and sent my money to 1Be7Ej9WA8ioDuqrRKCaGcCBM6Uu3Mci53. I don't know all this nuances, please help me return my money.

Sorry to hear dude.  You sound like a nice guy but you need to be more careful than that.  Scams will always be here and there will be some people that will dedicate a portion of their life to scamming others.  Once you have something that is worth taking, you need to take measures for your own security.

What you did was foolish, but use it as a lesson so it never happens again going forward.  If you can do that, then perhaps unfortunate event will make for good learning.

You cant get again your money because if you are the scammer did you stay the money that you stole? Definitely not, they actually put the money that they are stole into their wallet. On that video or site that they show did you put you password?

Bitcoin is still anonymous for everyone but i think scammer couldn't have accessed your blockchain.info wallet if you had a seconf factor authentication set.
It is must to turn on mobile number and email authentication for your wallet.

The YouTube account was used by a person with a computer who has an IP address. If you contact YouTube you may be able to discover their identity. Chances are they are in a foreign country out of jurisdiction though. :(

YouTube is owned by Google and Google pretty much sees all so you can at least try. Chances are slim though unfortunately.

its channel is already blocked and hardly youtube could share such information. And I think it is very difficult with Ip of scammers to prove theft and return money.

If the groups of victims+people willing to help could have gathered - not 1 person - we would have a better chance.

You shouldn't share your words phrase with anyone.
If your bitcoins have already been sent to their address, You can do nothing. You lost them forever.

I checked the address. They have received 65 BTC just in 3 days.

Wow, this is unbelievable.

This site scammed $200,000 from people in just 3 days. That would be over $24,000,000, if they do it every day.

What a shame their are scammers in Bitcoin - it is really the only issue we have in this community.

Hackers and scammers spend days and night planning evil methods to trick innocent people and steal their assets .first of all you should not trust every resource and do a little research before taking any step regarding bitcoins dealing. In your matter I will suggest you to consult a security specialist or back track the criminal and for future does not share your important information with anyone. Hope you get your money back soon!

People shouldn't be gullible when it comes to bitcoins and any other business, there are a lot of predators out there in the world who likes to take advantage of people who are too trusting, Its a shame that your money was stolen but there is no you can retrieve them, just move on and forget about it.
