Title: [ANN] - Kronecoin - [KRONE] - just another cryptocoin
Post by: Kronecoin on August 06, 2017, 12:37:08 AM
Kronecoin is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant, near-zero cost payments to anyone in the world. Kronecoin is an open source, global payment network that is fully decentralized without any central authorities. Given its very recent launch mining Kronecoin is easy, you can even get started with a basic personal computer CPU.

Yes, Kronecoin may be just another cryptocurrency but our goal over the few next years is to help people who want to mine to do so with small hardware resources.

We are not an IPO and we don’t own any pre-mined coin, we are not promising you the moon. What Kronecoin offers you are faster transaction confirmation times and an improved storage efficiency compared to the leading math-based currency. With substantial industry support, trade volume and liquidity, Kronecoin aims to become a valid alternative to Bitcoin

How come it already up to block 13000 with blocks being mined all the way back to July 13th? Was there an old announcement for this before or was this all premined?

We are serious people, there are no premined blocks. We have set up everything in July and as it's on the Internet may be people has found the coin and his web site or the mining pool. You can check it with the Kronecoin  block explorer.
we want to give a "democracy" coin to the world.

Maybe you don't know how crypto works, anything mined before the public announcement of a coin is considered premine. Since this is the first public announcement of the coin, all 13,000 blocks already mined are considered premine.

Krone is simply "just another Cryptocoin"

you guys really need to make pool stats more accessible. I've mined pools made by the same source code and on those you can see earnings, make manual or auto payments and see stats like how many coins earning per day, etc.

plus its showing no pending blocks, no nothing, in a while even though we are all earning shares. There is no round stats, block stats, nothing. Can you please add this stuff.

Title: Re: Kronecoin just another cryptocoin

so after 8 hours of mining at either #1 or #2 on pool the entire time, I still show nada for anything earned. Ive gone through lots of blocks, checked block explorer and my address shows absolutely nothing. The main addresses that have tens of thousands of coins show they continually get the 50 block rewards but me, nothing. This is all one big fucking scam and I'm done with your ShitCoin. I was supporting it but after I see what a joke it is with no one getting paid but people not mining on the only pool there is shows me what a crock this coin is.

serious coin my ass. You guys are rank amateurs who are just trying to make a fast buck off the latest craze. Youll be found out and the community will reject you and any future you may have had in this endeavor of yours.

Once your scam is over, no one will bother with you or any other coin you try to make.

You announce the coin on Here August 6, but people have been mining since July 13 and you are saying there is no pre mine. You dont even know what a pre mine is do you? And your lame excuse that that you are on the internet and someone found us and started mining is pure crap. You have a pre mine and are lying about it.

Plus, no one knows who you or your dev team is. You have a newbie account and your website doesn't list one single developer. No white paper, no nothing other than your statement that you made this coin to make money.

good luck, once I let other more serious devs and miners see this page you guys will be the laughing stock.

Stop googling mining or pre mining you clowns. Pre mining is not "coins built with no mining". Did you just get into crypto a week ago? Jesus you are dumb. And so you've been on the internet since 1995, wtf does that have to do with mining and creating scam coins. I've been on the internet since 1992 when I was using the first one while on active duty with the army. So what. I've also been using and building computers since the 80s but that doesn't mean anything in this world.

FYI. 13,000 blocks times 50 coins per block = 650,000 pre mined coins. Coins mined prior to announcement.

It looks like it's a perfectly planned project, and you can have COINS that you can use for mining, and I want to know what the algorithm is.

Dont let these arrogant people get to you!
Generally the more posts these guys have, the more full of shit they are.
I appreciate what your doing, will look into your project further, and then perhaps buy some coins since my equipment would not do well mining this coin.
Best to ya Dev!

Kronecoin has been added to Hash Refinery - http://pool.hashrefinery.com/site/gomining?algo=scrypt

You can be paid in Kronecoin by using your KRONE address as your username and "c=KRONE" as your password.  Alternatively the pool can auto-exchange to BTC for you.

Happy mining!

Actually for new coins I like,
https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/krone/overview/BTC

That is disappointing news I just had them list a new coin last week, I think coinmarketcap is going to have this new move come back and bite them on the ass. Wouldn't the perfect POS (staking) coin have a low market volume? Seems that there is about 20:1 ratio of new POS:POW coins launching these days (maybe a slight exaggeration ;).
Besides I see a lot of obsolete stuff they could cut back on rather than new coins, I suppose I wont be spending much time there from here on out, because I like to see the new coins...:)
Keep up the good work Dev!

That was my first reaction, but it will create volume and bring cheap coins to the market, and create great opportunity for us to buy low and hold.

I might as well lauch a coin, mine about 40% with software, then allow my friends to mine 20% extra of it, then later announce it as a zero premine coin, no ICO and , no IPO.
it doesn't work that way Sir.

By the way, why this :) :

I just found out this coin and thought that I would start mining but when I tried to download the wallet my Avira Antivirus moved it to quarantine because of "TR/BitCoinMiner.ghfmz", can anyone confirm that this is safe program to use?  :-\
Read this. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=936724.0)

is not our case :)

is it a virus?

The commits are very minimal for a project under development, there's only 1 contributor.  There are no people following the project, etc. etc.

The claim is that they want to allow people of limited means to mine without expensive hardware, but the algo is scrypt which is an ASIC algo, so as soon as anyone with an L3+ points it at this coin the difficulty will rocket undermining the stated purpose.

I'll pass for now, but keep at it.

The wallet is build over other wallets as you can see under "about" virus warns are false positive, the wallet is safe
Litecoin throws similar false positives as well: https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/d3b1628f12050582480f13d232ffe5b62caae9d4d7ac42c1559b706a50884818/detection

Yes you are right with an L3+ you can mine our coin but at the actual market values we think no one with an L3+ will mine Kronecoin

About mining pool please remember what we wrote into ANN : "Mining Pool is not our business" we have set up two mining pools for testing purposes starting from open source projects. We don't want to develop Mining Pools because there are many around the world and some of them will integrate Kronecoin.

Our testing Mining Pools are :

http://eu1.kronepool.org (also known as http://kronepool.org)
http://us1.kronepool.org

Both runs the same core (https://github.com/UNOMP/unified-node-open-mining-portal)

eu1.kronepool.org runs the payment batch every hour and has a minimum payout of 0.1 KRONE
us1.kronepool.org runs the payment batch every 10 mins and has a minimum payout of 0.1 KRONE

eu1.kronepool.org wallet is visible at http://www.kroneblocks.org/address/KE139CjxoGHH33aG2JKK9QhdL7Pp2Urxms
us1.kronepool.org wallet is visible at http://www.kroneblocks.org/address/KV1FjaLaR4mqVVaAmym4PdAfQ2RPsozyec

3 hours and 0 kronecoin payout with about 500kh/s. i'll stick to this over night and see what happends.

KroneCoin: will the "counter" reset every hour and low miners will loose what they have mined?

hashes submitted will be paid. Hashes counters are never reset. Depending on your hashpower you have to be more or less patient.

Is a mining pool address as you can see on the left where is wrote "new coin"  that means that a reward of 50 KRONE was sent to the mining pool address and if you go backwards you can see that are distributed. This address is not related to our mining pools.

We are a small team that has created Kronecoin with the aim to give a "small" bitcoin or litecoin to the world. About Bittrex we can for sure ask but people like you can also ask to Exchanges to add a coin . If an exchange receive request from let's say 100/200 users we  think they can consider to add. Kronecoin source code is avaliable so they can add the coin without ask to us.

oh cool, another stealth launch so they could quietly mine coins on their own before it was publicly announced and the difficulty adjusted higher. Somehow the mining pool magically found the blockchain before public announcement and allowed people to mine? Really?

and just because a mining pool "isn't our business" doesn't change the fact that the devs continued to allow the chain to be mined before any announcement. They could have rebooted the chain from block 0 at the announcement, and re-compiled the wallet software to only point to the newly restarted chain so everyone had fair mining since block 1

When the announcement started it was already at block 13000!!!

and yes, they are premine, just because it took work to mine, doesn't mean its not premine. Any coins mined, with work or no work required, before public announcement is considered pre-mine

What a joke, yet a bunch of noobs don't hesitate to waste their time on this, cracks me up

Coinmarketcap ask documentation to dev's to calculate the marketcap deducting the premined coins.
In our case no coins were deducted

Coinmarketcap is a respectable thirdy party

Title: Re: [ANN] - Kronecoin - [KRONE] - just another cryptocoin
Post by: Kronecoin on September 18, 2017, 02:26:58 PM
we don't have developed our coin with a roadmap to the moon. Our roadmap is quite simple we will work to add Kronecoin to the highest number of Altcoin exchanges (miner and people support will help in voting) and let Kronecoin became a worldwide used coin.
we don't want to connect the coin to a product (like most dev do) nor we want to raise money with ICO.
Basically we are trying to follow the Bitcoin, Litecoin road.

May be we are wrong, we don't know, history will tell.

that's it

Kronecoin has a max of 84.000.000 we have set one mining pool at http://kronepool.org
we like people that set up Krone Mining Pools
we have also set up web wallet at http://kronewallet.org and block explorer at http://kroneblocks.org

Coin web site is http://kronecoin.org

How do I import as primary keys in the KroneCoin-qt wallet?

I created a wallet by http://kronewallet.org and added some coins and did not appear in the KroneCoin Jswallet wallet. But at http://kroneblocks.org it shows that it arrived in the wallet.

All I did so far was to save the primary key, I would like to open my wallet created by http://kronewallet.org in KroneCoin-qt

This coin looks interesting. It's got a perfectly working wallet and blockchain, nice website and is kind of new. Would not take much to pump this to da moon.

Already trading at cryptopia and C-CEX. I've seen much worse coins than this with a massive higher marketcap, so needless to say Kronecoin is very cheap right now.

I have been accompanying Kronecoin recently, was almost sure that it was an abandoned currency, the graphic with a 500% increase, this being pumped, or is the project active? Where's Dev and his team?

Just spent a night mining (and not on CPU), and have gotten no rewards despite having almost 1k "accepted". I verified beforehand that my address was appearing on http://kronepool.org/workers. Kronecoin explorer shows nothing for my address, either. Rewards broken?

Difficulty to mine is increased, our pool hash rate is a small fraction of the hashpower used to mine Kronecoin. The balance was not increased because the pool has not discovered any block. We suggest to use a different pool with a lot of miner over .
You can try with https://www.mining-dutch.nl/ than seems to work fine.

Hello all,

I began mining cryptocurrencies just a few days ago, and I have searched for one that would be easy to start with.
Somehow kronecoin came up to my sight.
I gave it a try for about a week, and it's obvious that there is something wrong with it.

First of all, let's look at the website and software.
Forum link at the top of the page is pointing to an archived thread on reddit.com.
Threre are no installation notes for KronecoinCore for Linux, and God knows we always need some instructions for using anything on Linux, so I never managed to get that thing running.
Installation for Windows contains a trojan - even if it is a false positive, good development team would resolve it in short time, so this is obviously not the case.
The only good thing from my perspective is an example of how to start the miner in Linux, by downloading it from GitHub and compiling it.

Since I coudn't use desktop wallet either on Linux or on Windows, I used Web wallet, which is very elementary.
It doesn't even provide HTTPS for security!

There are two officially supported pools: EU pool and US pool.
In EU pool there is constantly only 2-3 miners, with clearly not specialized hardware, producing about 30-60Khs per miner.
In US pool there is 2-4 miners, with more advanced hardvare, producing 100Khs - 4Mhs per miner.

There were few pools mentioned in this thread, like https://www.mining-dutch.nl/ and http://blockmunch.club/.
I checked both of them, and there were most of the time 0 active miners there, with maybe a miner or two just dropping by, producing really not much.

I was CPU mining, but with relatively good machine using 4 CPUs with AES-NI enabled, producing around 100Khs (as mining tool and pool monitor reported).
Although my mining software reported that I have produced thousands of accepted shares, when I monitored the performance of the EU pool, it came up that my result was always around 200-400 shares.
It was the same for the rest of the guys, their result was also just a little bit rising and then a bit falling, always going up and down.
There is also no indicator to show which block are we all processing at the moment.

BUT, then I checked "Block Explorer".
And, to my great surprise, there where dozens of payouts each minute, with full 50 kronecoins per payout!
I then checked if any of those payouts went to any of the active miners on either US or EU pool, and there was NONE!
For all these days and thousands and thousands of shares I produced, I got one big ZERO coins.

So, the big question is: WHERE ARE THAT PHANTOM MINERS, THAT ARE GETTING ALL THE PAYOUTS, COMING FROM?

This all looks like one big fraud.
Even if these are real miners, producing that much payouts, which means that much full blocks per minute, would require highly advanced equipment.
That alone, would be a great contradiction to kronecoin's original idea: "our goal over the few next years is to help people who want to mine to do so with small hardware resources".

I just switched to another cryptocurrency - it took me some time to get the things going, but as soon as I did that, even though I was mining for just half an hour, some amount was delivered to my account, no matter how low it was!
That is the proof for me that the other cryptocurrency is doing thing honestly, and that kronecoin is all in muddy waters.

To conclude, if you are reading this and just wanted to start with some cryptocurrency to see how things are going... well, you can do just that.
For everything else... it would be better to find another coin to mine.

Yes there is something going on, no activity on the block explorer for hours then a ton of blocks mined by the same wallet. I also mined for 24hrs and mined virtually nothing with an L3. It is a shame as the coin could have done well. Whoever is in control of the coin is either unaware or up to no good, either way until someone states otherwise I would stay clear of this one.

UPDATE I have found that most of the last blocks were mined at mining-dutch and the wallet in question. So there seems to be a problem with the blockchain in my opinion as it is not consistent.

Coin production on an isolated network segment. To exclude these cases, you must generate a new block every 30-60 minutes. But this is usually not profitable

May be you don't know how Internet works ... we have open Mining  Pool in July and some people has found that . You can check it at http://kroneblocks.org/richlist . Don't tell us that we are clown .... we work on Internet since 1995 ... please grow up !

Maybe you don't know how crypto works, anything mined before the public announcement of a coin is considered premine. Since this is the first public announcement of the coin, all 13,000 blocks already mined are considered premine.

This is why I love the Bitcointalk community.  Knowledgeable and straightforward.

Keep these coins accountable!

(And keep the communities open on this page, not in deletable places like Discord, Telegram etc.  If this were posted there Admins would delete such a message.)

Question...

why on the block explorer website are all of the blocks not showing in proper date-generated order?

http://kroneblocks.org/

They go from June 10 to June 27 then back to June 14th and back and forth. No way to properly track what is going on.  Deliberate manipulation?

If litecoin makes changes in their github it doesnt mean Kronecoin get this upgrades too.

Kronecoin forked away from litecoin and only get these updates if they make the changes in their github too

I see everyone saying calmly exchange on this thread. Whether this project failed or is still under development to put their tokens on an exchange. Do you still have a lot of time to realize this.

Thanks for the link for the block explorer:). I have the pool running and a spare server so if anyone can help with a small exchange that would get the trading going.
