Any whitepaper with technical details, financial projections, ICO structure... etc? We don´t see Netflix or Youtube as competitors... we envision that social networks will turn into social economies by giving a real value to "likes" (as no one ever ran out of likes, they cannot have a value) Social engagement and participation is required to earn such a value. Of course we rely on video content, and at some point we might become competitors of those two giants, but we aim on building up a social economy. Maybe our closest competitors right now are social networks (Facebook is starting to produce its own video content!) About a new account making the ANN, we all been working on Bitcoin and blockchain for the last years, but we haven´t been around this space. Adrián Garelik was the head of communication and co-founder of RSK, but yet he managed RSK Bitcointalk account and not his own. So we decided to start from scratch with a new account. Best! What does distinguish your project from their ? Do you have something more to bring on the table ? Although we have a similar approach and LBRY has a potentially great product, we have several differences. The main difference is that we turn every user into a distributor, and they earn a % of what is paid to the author. Author set a price and a % to be shared with the network on a distribution smart contract. Also, users can ask for "sponsored content" (AD) if they ran out of credits. There is AD in our platform, but anyone can choose whether to watch it or not. This sets an organic price for FLX tokens, and creates a market for FLX outside the platform. We aim on creating a participating community, a social economy, not just a video platform. We don´t have our own blockchain, we been testing our platform on top of Ethereum and RSK. FLX is not mineable, but there is an incentive program that will run for 5-10 years and will decrease on time. Not having our own blockchain turns into a better UX as final user don´t have to download it. Flixxo can be used on smartphones, TV´s and computers. On the team side, we have the expertise of having developed Popcorn Time, RSK and Riecoin.
