If you are prepared to pseudonymity and pay your taxes, you can go to any exchange in your country.
Otherwise, just wait until bitcoins are so widely accepted that you don't have to touch fiat at all.

There is no need to convert your bitcoins in to any altcoins. You could just use localbitcoins.com for that.Just create an account in localbitcoins. They would give you a bitcoin wallet.Just send your bitcoins to that bitcoin address.Sell your bitcoins to any person whose rate is good and give your bank account name so that they would immediately send USD to your bank account.

In our country, there is a well known bitcoin wallet, which is the Coins.ph. though I don't recommend you using it because it is an exchanger, you don't hold your private keys there. But when it comes to caahing out your BTCs, they are very efficient and easy.

That is right, coins.ph offer an efficient way of cashing out your bitcoins into fiats through banks, cash pickups, they even offer game credits. And also, coins.ph is not the known site there, there is also rebit.ph. For me, the difference of these two is that rebit has higher cash out than coins.

Go register to a exchanges and submit all necessary documentation and wait for them to processed it. Once they confirmed your account then you can transfer your bitcoin to that exchange then convert it to USD. Or just used localbitcoins and try to meet someone that will purchase your BTC into USD.

The idea is not to "cash out" to cash <USD> but to rather use the currency to make online payments or to use it at your local stores that accept Bitcoin. If you have to cash out, you can register with a Bitcoin exchange and then link you bank account to this exchange and then sell the BTC for fiat <cash> and then withdraw it to your bank account.

We want to avoid "cashing out" at all cost and rather stimulate the network by using it daily for BTC payments. This will increase merchant adoption, if people demand to pay in Bitcoin. ^smile^

Haven't you ever seen that Morpheus/Neo meme? The point is to hodl your coins, not until a certain price point is reached, but until you don't have to cash out at all. By that point, everyone will accept BTC, and you won't need to touch USD.

Otherwise, go the conventional route: send your coins to an exchange, verify your identity, send out bank wires and make sure that your taxes are in order. :)

What do you mean alt coins, if you want to cash out there are heaps of ways and they are all pretty simple and barely need any forrm of ID. On localbitcoin you can find a seller who is interested in selling Bitcoin for cash, bank transfer or any other payment method. When making a transaction on localbitcoin I would recommend only selling/buying off people who seems to have good trust. Localbitcoin will be your escrow so only release the bitcoins when you know you have been paid.

As dollar is not used much in my country, one can exchange bitcoins for local fiat. Although Ukraine is a developing country, it is surprisingly easy to cash out btc here. Of course there are sites where you have to provide your ID, photograph and other unpleasant things. The money you will lose while converting is insignificant. I guess you can meet people and do the exchange via localbitcoins in big cities, but I don't enjoy dealing with strangers and meeting people in general, so I choose the 3rd option. That is an online exchange on a website which doesn't need any info from you apart from a debit card number and email. The fee will make you lose about  1-5% of what you withdraw but it's safe, fast and reliable.

There are several exchanges depending on how you want to receive your USD. You can also sell to individual people on say localbitcoin. If you're lucky there may just be a bitcoin atm nearby that allows withdrawals in cash.

Well here in my country that is not a problem.
We have this wallet called coins.ph and cashing out without tax is no problem. You just need to send them some ID's for verification. This is an online wallet so storing huge amount of coins here are not advisable. I just use it as an exchanger and for cashing out. Hope your country will have like this too. ;D

cryptocurrencies are to be used digitally, that's why they are inside the called  cashless society.  You can however, exchange them in exchangers lke localbitcoins, I guess coinbase also allows for some countries, if you provide your documentation.

Well, in our country, we use the coins.ph as my bitcoin wallet where i put all my bitcoins. This wallet can also convert bitcoin into philippine peso. Then after converting bitcoin into philippine peso we cash out money in a specific that is credited by the coins.ph. I withdrew my money thru atm machine, cardless. It can also be cash out in other stores accredited by the coins.ph but me, I usually withdrew in atm machine, its easier for me.

Use your country local exchange or local bitcoin and sell it to someone in your country. No need to convert it into alt as it's harder to sell. The bank will ask where you got it if the amount is big though.

We can cash out through the use of wallets. One of which is coins.ph that is realiable and user friendly. First you have to change the currency into your local base in your country. That's too easy and simple transaction because it is cardless. You can transact only one particular bank or send out through money express that is convenient to the wallet.

Well fortunately for me, my bitcoin wallet offers various options on whether to transfer my BTCs to credited banks in the Philippines and I also have the option to withdraw my bitcoins as fiat in a card-less ATM. There are still many options for me to choose from and varies per wallet. Though the downside is, some transactions have fees but the convenience it provides makes everything worth-it. Another thing, you can view your bitcoin as virtual currency since you can pay your electric bills, or monthly obligations with it, saving your fiat currencies.

I use bitcoin wallet as a redeeming tool from BTC to USD, the next step is, sending the full ID address for verification requirement, the inclusion of ID we send is as a rule in order to avoid cheating from people who want to take advantage of the top fiat that we have. After the approval and completion of verification, then I send the account number of the bank that I use, so that the fiat storage we have can directly transfer the account number. I think this is quite easy, and the transfer is not too expensive.

I'm seeing less and less Bitcoin-for-cash ads over time, which is all that interests me on Localbitcoins. I prefer to ACH/wire money to an exchange and set limit bids if I'm using electronic payment methods.

Some of the major Localbitcoins traders in my area definitely shut down operations in the past year. I think there is increasing pressure from law enforcement for large traders to register as money service businesses, or otherwise face charges. Over time, this method will get harder and harder to use.

The way I've done this is to send Bitcoins to Coinbase and then sell Bitcoins for US dollars and they sent the money to my bank account. You would need to have your bank account linked to Coinbase though. I would convert the altcoins to Bitcoins on an exchange before sending to Coinbase.

An alternative is to use localbitcoins or just find a friend that is willing to buy your Bitcoins for cash.

Cashing out btc is quiet an easier task due to the existence of more and more trading websites that give different ways to convert bitcoin to fiat and withdraw. Personally in my country localbitcoins is the only website that's been preferred by majority of the bitcoin users.

This really depends on whether you have made profits.  If you have and are happy to pay taxes, use an exchange.  You'll lose a percentage in costs and possibly exchange costs if USD is not your currency but will be liable for taxes (if applicable).  Alternatively, use local bitcoins, Purse.io (for Amazon purchases), bitcoin credit cards etc.  Many ways to skin a cat.

That's my goal. I rarely spend any bitcoins, only in an emergency. These are for my retirement and if they end up being worthless it's okay because I have other investments for retirement too.

Go through localbitcoins if you want cash. Or you could always just post an add on craigslist.

I think you asking that, how does the conversion of bitcoin occurs to fiat currency as the bitcoin is virtual and has o physical presence? If so then there is one thing called as "valuable assets". Now you see, over the time bitcoin has been added up with lots of money, if you buy bitcoin then you actually exchange your real paper money and pass it on to the exchanger to wallets. These wallets then assign you equivalent bitcoin which are nothing but the bunch of algorithms. As you have passed on USD they actually have that value in them virtually.

When you cash out or exchange the bitcoin with fiat then exactly reverse happens and this time wallets will be buying your bitcoins for that much USD price and thus keeping the same balance. Thats the meaning of converting BTC into USD.

Turning BTC to USD has many stages,
#1 Transfer you Coins/Tokens to your preferred trading site.
#2 Then sell it in that site.
#3 When you have USD transfer it to your wallet
#4 Use a wallet that you can take out your money (in the Philippines we use Coins.ph)

Hope i helped you. ;D

Bitcoin ATM's are not available in all country my mate. Only in a limited place, we have this facility. I think if you live in Singapore you have this option to withdraw your BTC in ATM. Other country details I don't know, better you can use the local exchange site to convert your BTC to USD. This is the best and simple option.

Turning bitcoins to USD is not a really big deal i guess, but you are probably asking for how to cash them out in the sense of turning them into fiat, because you can easily turn your bitcoins into USD from any bitcoin exchange but they wont send them to you then. So, i would suggest you to use Localbitcoins.com for that purpose, as you can sell your bitcoins to someone there and they will give you fiat in exchange for that.

Despite the fact that I probably lose a lot on the percentage, But I found a very good and quick cashing out Bitcoin. I take out Bitcoin on the WebMoney purse and already there I make an exchange for the currency that I need. And already with WebMoney the conclusion on any bank card. This process is quite fast.

We have different ways depends on location and accessibility.

First look first at exchanges where your country is supported. After that check and test it. The instuctions of how things should be done will be listed on that exchange. Ok to minimize your work, in what country you from?

Philippines is a small country but bitcoin is starting to be popular in the Philippines so exchanges are surely making money and they have to give the best service to the people in order to stay in the competition. If there is no exchanges yet in your country now, for sure there will be a capitalist to start a exchange site because it's so profitable and they will surely take that opportunity to be part of the growing market.

If you are talking about that there is no exchange site coins.ph is the place for philippines where you can withdraw all of your bitcoin instantly but it needs to verify your ID first before you can request instant withdrawal there is a limit of withdrawal i think 1 btc is their limit but if you can also verify your location you can increase the limit..
The good thing to withdraw in coins.ph they are already a building here in philippines so i think they can be trusted and also the rate of their exchange are less than to the big exchange site.. so i think we don't need any alternative or any other exchange site to use .. because mostly people are using coins.ph.. because any services is there like paying monthly bills like water, internet and electricity bills. .and you can also shop online using their service and any other services that i think you can be stay and use your bitcoin in that site..

Bitcoins fame has getting more fame on philippines and we've got so many choices on how to cashout our money here and I've already see some store In davao city accepting btc as there payment option. And the best thing he can do is to open an Dollar account in his local banks so that he can easily transfer his btc balance on his own account without getting hassle on processing it.

From exchange sites then transfer it to your local exchanges to convert it to USD. There is I think a tutorial in youtube on how to do it if you are not that familiar or google them to let you know how too.

I’ve never really cashed out bitcoin directly, all I do is to sell to people who need it for a service and I
receive real raw cash from them. Though there are exchangers online who would exchange your bitcoin for money.

Correct, and its very easy in Philippines to cash out bitcoins. There is even a free service (no charge) like the egivecash  where you can withdraw your money in ATM without an atm card or cardless. Also, free if you direct deposit your money to your bank account using coins.ph

The same is with altcoins, yesterday I received mail from one site that offers exchanging bitcoin for my currency and revers. From couple days ago they added eth, now I can buy and say ETH in their site. If you are not registered 10% fee, if you are then 5%. I think they work with litecoins too, and that is one of the way for me to exchange this three coins for cash in my currency.
From last year I can use one bank for cashing out my currency, dollars and euros, banks have their own tricks so cashing out in euros is with lowest fees.
Thus is how it works in my country, like you said every country have different ways for cashing out and how it goes depends from place to place. Better ask this in local section, find your county and ask friends there how they do it.

Amazing! How I wish that it would also be like that in my city. How did it happen to your city since I'm also from the same country you belong. So is the mayor in Davao is open for that modes of payments as well since there is no irregularities that is happening in your place. I'm just dumbfounded that it is acceptable. I envy your place because it's not yet accepted here but I'm using wallets to cash out my bitcoin because it is user friendly maybe you also use the same wallet as mine. Anyway, I'm hoping for the possible change in my place so that it will be easier for me to purchase some goods using btc in every shopping malls that I will visit soon.

The high transaction fees and delays got me wearing my thinking cap and have some ways to employ altcoins and transverse to a game site that takes relatively cheaper rate for priority transaction and it has been working for me for months. However with segwit activation, we can expect the high transaction fees and delays in confirmation time to be appreciably reduced a little while from now.

Yes online exchangers are there to change your BTC in USD. But it is quite good approach if you sell you BTC at high price to any client that need service and get cash in hands as said here. That will be more suitable to you as the exchangers have to get their part too so go for selling of bitcoins.

I have an online wallet that is linked or connected to my bank account and because of that, it is very easy for me to just transfer money to that bank account and cash out my money. I also have a friend that is a buyer of bitcoin and i also sell bitcoin to him so i will get my cash in an instant process.

You're lucky you have someone irl you can just swap currencies with. That must be really handy. I'd suggest getting your coins out of any shitty old uninsured Web wallet though. They're all complete crap. The bitcoin protocol is a bank. You don't need someone else to hold you money. You're using it wrong.

Cashing out bitcoin directly can be hard sometimes, so all I do is just look for guys who want to buy bitcoin and sell the coin to them since they have real cash to pay me with am good with that.

Usually by selling it on exchange or cashing it out through ATMs. In fact there are not so many bitcoin ATMs now. So, the most viable option is to use an exchange, but it would better be a tested one. I personally use cex.io and I find it all right, although the opinions about it differ.

In our country it's easy to cash out since there are banks who accepts it through bank application relating into different banks. This helps alot for there are no fees that will deduct when I cashout and it can be done instantly.

I usually hold my coins through ether wallet but it will depends on what type of coin your going to earn through campaigns, The wallet that you are going to use will depend on what kind of coin you are going to be paid of either you join signature campaigns or fb or twitter. Here in the philippines we use coins.ph to exchange btc to real cash, Try to check that out it might be useful for you.

Why on Earth would I trade BTC for dollars? Bitcoin IS cash and trading with me means using bitcoin.

Well maybe OP wants to exchange his btc to usd because or maybe he needed some fiat. Like of course if he didn't needed fiat he wouldn't convert it. Holding now your coins will really make you some fortune for the upcoming years.
Considering the btc value goes to the moon by these year, let's hope some alts too. So we can cashout some thru exchanges or thru apps that applicable in cashing out via banks.

But this wallet is only applicable on philippines and maybe OP should seek for web wallet who's available to his country so that he can execute a convenient cashout methods.
