in the last weeks I noticed there was a swap from ICASH to PURA. The swap happened on coinexchange and after that I bought some PURA and made big profit  ;D
ICASH/PURA is a Dash clone so I am curious what you think about it, do you think it can reach similar lvl like Dash in future?

Website is under maintenance.
I don't think there's profit to be made now, except for the 800% jump, maybe long term.

Volume is relatively big (on coinexchange) on this huge price jump so there may be
something going on.  Coin supply is high so time will tell if this pump in price sticks or
dumps.

pura coin is good volume transaction, although only accepted trade in coinexchange
why not added to bittrex exchanger

The dev is working currently on fixing last bugs after the swap and then there will be an official announcement also on bitcointalk.
I am in the old icash slack and yeah I think that the team behind PURA is good. Coin supply is big but yes but look at ripple, its even bigger and coudl reach even higher targets.

Currently there is nothing to say about pura because its better to wait for the official announcement and thread.

Is PURA the coin you can only mine with PURA mining packages form Avalon life at their mining facilities in Costa Rica?

PURA has a lot of potential things that could push its price up, certainly seems worth more research.

PURA has everything to do with Avalon-Life.
They had the Pura Vida Coin that went no where.
We mined it night and day.
Then In June (2 months ago) they asked us to send them all of our PVC and they gave us PURA in exchange
PURA is the coin swapped Icash

AValon-Life is mining PURA right now but not heavily.
There exist only the code for the beta broken wallet in github.
They asked us to wait. The Dev is fixing the issues

When Dash was about $9 or so last August, the DASH Developers met with Avalon-Life and partnered together on some deal.
Avalon-Life mined the heck out of Dash at that time and Dash went sky high. That is when Dash got on the upwards map of goodness.

Where will PURA go? I don't know.
What am I doing? I bought more PURA and am HODLing.

Dash clone or any other coin can't be the next dash. They will be always seen as a clone. If you think dash is good, then buy dash not fake dash.

There probably won't be a next dash. The reason it's so popular is because of the advertising, the adoption by the mainstream. It's easy to pump a coin if it's only listed on one exchange with a small number of people owning the majority of the coins supply. Let's see where this goes when and if it gets added to other Exchanges. Or, once the richest wallet decides to dump...

those 89% belong to coinexchange - why? Because they handled the icash swap and created the same amount of pura as like circulating icash.. and the 89% are unclaimed because people didnt send their icash to coinexchange! And what will coinexchange do with those 89%? They will burn those coins!! Ask coinexchange if you dont believe me.

So big volume on a small exchange such like coinexhange is BULLISH. There is a strong community and big demand because of masternode. And after the burn is official price will skyrocket to  0.001 at least.

Ok so 89% (149mil) PURA are owned by coinexchange which means there are 19mil PURA in circulation right now and if they are going to burn them,
those who had icash and missed the deadline will never get their coins or money back.

I guess that would explain the price spike with only 19mil in circulation and 149mil of coin owners not being able to trade.

Pura is a legitimate project.

The coin was 20 cents some weeks ago.

Then the price rose to 1$ within 2 days as a lot of volume
was being pumped in. At 1$ it took a healthy down to 52 cents. Which is good. It still doubled from a month ago.
Count... There are 169 Million coins. There is a little more than 100 million market cap...
This gives a price of around 60 cent per coin as a good value.

The devs are doing a real job behind.

The coinswap was organised by coinexchange.io and former icash developer - this is the usual way of a coinswap as executed in that industry several times.

There is no 10 mio PURA wallet.

Clones are generally pump and dumps, better to get a coin that is being developed from scratch. If you want an anonymous coin like dash take a look at xspec, privacy technology is much more superior and will be better in the long term

I was a big supporter of icash for long time and before I went on vacation I was told to keep my icash in the wallet which I did (set it and forget it). Anyway I just got back from vacation and tried to move the icash to this new pura (first time heard of it) and on the exchange is tells me to first convert to the new pura address but I don't know how to do it. I looked at all the post there is no instructions.

Their project looks exactly the same as Dash's with all the anonymity and masternodes. There is absolutely nothing special about the project to make it rank 77 on coinmarketcap, there are plenty of better projects under it.

Plus it's only listed on coinexchange, meaning that it's not very liquid.

i was mining with wallet address from cryptopia, more than 24h with 15+ gh/s.... . when i press my address on workers tab, it shows nothing.. on cryptopia wallet also nothing , no transaction...

Given that miners keep the chain running and create liquidity, how are you going to avoid a hash crash if you force miners to hold your coins? I'm honestly asking. If I switch my rigs to pura and find out there's no way to sell for weeks, that's a scam coin. And once you earn that reputation, there's no coming back. Hopefully you have s creative way that still recognizes miners as valuable members of the community. They're not the bad guys, even if some bigger players short a coin then breakeven on cloud mining + dumping to force the price down.

So the technologi is like icash but only rebranded to pura coin ? What the point for rebranding ? And also its way too far if you compare to dash. Dash has really good development and adoption. South Korea has always been an early adopter of technological innovation – be it social networks, video games, or micropayment transactions. It is one of the most technically advanced nations, which is not unsurprising for a country that is home to global brands Samsung, LG and Hyundai. According to 2016 gross domestic product (GDP) figures by Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, South Korea tops the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) 2011 PISA rankings for digital literacy among 16 participating nations, including Hong Kong. The country also boasts the world’s greatest broadband penetration worldwide. This explains why cryptocurrencies and their infrastructure, including ATMs, merchants, apps, blockchain technology and other digital assets are booming.

In the beginning, South Korea’s initial stance on Bitcoin and blockchain technology was to ban it altogether. At first, the country prohibited its citizens from anonymously trading cryptocurrencies. Government officials could not hold or trade crypto assets and participate in initial coin offerings (ICOs). Some argue that this ICO ban stymied the development of blockchain in the country especially in the private sector. However, South Korea has since affirmed that the bans and stringent rules were to deter scam ICOs from originating from the country and to protect its citizens from corrupt practices. There has since been lifting of the blanket ban on ICOs and Bitcoin now enjoys legal status as remittance method.
