i opened coinmarket place and i saw bitcoincash coin skyrockted to 755.04$ it was 500$ before i think this coin will be alternative for eth coin

No hope for this bitcoincash bro, bitcoin will still remain on top, you can higlight the hype but still it's just a hype. BITCOINCASH still remain as alternative to bitcoin and that's a fact.

It's possible that it might crash soon enough, that's what happened when it got introduced, hyped to the top and then crashed to the bottom. It has seen an enormous increase the last 24 hours though. Could be a result of hype, after the first 8MB block was mined.

Now it slowly falling down to $500, then $400 then $300. This is only normal pump, nothing to be suprised. BCC/BCH will crash soon, the altcoin you should be suprised is ADX and MCO

Yeah i saw the same and bought some from bittrex to profit out of the situation . I think people are buying it because recently i heard that the first 8MB block of bitcoin cash was mined and it created a hype in the market and think thats why people are buying bitcoin cash. I think the price will reach 0.15btc and then fall down again. So this is an opportunity for us to make some profit. The market is very unstable these days where bitcoin is rising alts are falling and now comes the bitcoin cash .

The movement of bitcoin cash is fantastic,
And each increment is accompanied by decreased bitcoin, this may be very influential.
It's time to invest in this coin, and if this information is true we will get big profits.

BCC is speculation pump/dump coin. And all BitcoinCash blockchain is controled by one pool, what is not credible.

Well I saw that in coinmarket it was already in 509, and in 10 mins it decreased to 506. I think this coin is getting pumped by some big players out there. It is growing also, but I don't think it will take over bitcoin anywhere soon.

this pump is mostly because the market is way too small and it has a big news coming up in a couple of days with its next difficulty readjustment and they have been advertising the shit out of it!

Some whale traders pump bcc today, expect it to go down in a couple of days. I suggest take out your profit in it and buy cheap neo now

I have seen rapid increase of price for Bitcoin Cash, now I think hype is starting to calm down and price will go back to what it was a few days ago.

However, this increase may attract some victims which will buy from highest price. So I recommend such people to be careful of entering point.

It is slowly going down right now, and it is a good sign that the pump that has happened is obviously because of hype or the possibility of it being manipulated. I dont expect bitcoincash to ever dethrone bitcoin and dont just look at the price, just look at what everyone uses for transactions, it is bitcoin and not bcc. Those who use bitcoincash oftenly use it for speculation so even if bitcoin cash would go up way above bitcoin price, I wont say that it has dethroned bitcoin unless most of bitcoin users have already switched into bitcoincash.

It depends on whether other miners now start shifting to it, now the price has risen. If they do, the coin has a future

Wouldn't at all be surprised if it went past double the price of Ethereum and stay as #2 on the charts. Bitcoin Cash seems to have a bright future because of how smooth BCH's system works. No more high fee priority transactions, unless users start doing it themselves and it would be pretty much the same as those mining BCH are the ones pushing the coin to stand higher and compete with the BTC.

That is a normal price movement. We should take into consideration that the coin involved is Bitcoin Cash. While it is not that popular among people, there are still some avid fans of the coin. But mostly, the price movement is just an effective of a price and dump scenario.

I haven't seen a proper answer for the price increase here. So I will give one -

It is not hype as some of the people here have speculated. Neither is it just random increase/decrease or pump/dump! It is due to the anticipation of mining profitability parity.

Bitcoin Cash's value is a direct co-relation to the percentage of BCC/BTC mining power. BCC mining was unprofitable when it forked on Aug 1st. The difficulty took some time to adjust, and then there have been multiple mining groups trying to play the block times and difficulty decrease/increase, which I will not get into here. Finally, in the past day or so, the mining profitability seems to be reaching an equilibrium - it is within 5% distance from BTC mining profitability. The price increase is a speculation that the mining profitability will be achieved in the next few days and more mining power would be pointed to mine BCC (Right now, even the people who supported BCC and wanted to mine it might not be mining it because it wasn't profitable) and BCC would see an increase in hash power/price/support again. But as more miners point to it, the difficulty increases again, and if the transactions don't increase correspondingly on the chain, the profitability decreases again and you will see miners moving back to BTC. This is where the price goes down again. We will see this increase/decrease a few times (also because of the politics played both BTC/BCC groups with mining) until an equilibrium is achieved. This is when the price remains stable and we will find out the true value of BCC. It could eventually die away if the mining profitability just keeps going down or could live along side BTC (similar to ETH/ETC).

Also, BCC chain just saw its first 8MB block a day or two back, which pumped everyone's expectations.

It's just a hype, it would gradually go down overtime. This only proves that bitcoin cash has no chance against bitcoin, bitcoin will forever be the king of coins and bitcoin cash will just be considered like any other altcoins out there.

Yup in one day it went that many high means definitely it will come down. Those who bought last time means when it arrived this coin market and waiting for the good price. This is the best time to sell your coins and get your investment back. Becasue don't know again when it is going to dump.

Well I guess someone pumped it when he was buying low. Now it's time to sell, price back to something low again.

There are huge players behind Bitcoincash. It's not just a simple exchange that did that split. We have still much more to see.
Meantime, Bitcoincash shoudn't be considered a sound investment as their miners are same as bitcoin and can switch side anytime.

This can be because poloniex. They haven't listed bch for a really long time and now the holders on bch are trying to push the price. This might not be a end maybe the price will rise till $800 and start a downfall again. Or the second reason can be to push the price to sell in profit if you remember the price had fallen really fast when withdrawals were enabled and many got too many losses so now they are just trying to push the price more.

Bitcoin cash will be at the second place after the BTC because peoples are more interesting with Bitcoin cash nowadays,it will fall but it will up again.don't forget bitcoin cash not even 1 month since it first launched.

When BCC came for the first time. BCC's price was around $900/BCC (0.48 BTC peak) which was a good price for new altcoin. As everyone said, it just normal pump like other altcoins but let's hope the price will remain on 0.2 BTC/BCC at least.

That's the result of 8MB mined. So the price has increased. It's just a short time I think it's going to fall somewhat more slowly. But now it's our chance to earn so no more to lose. In trading there are only two conversations that increase and decrease.

Its been in its lowest price couple of days ago so an increase in price is somewhat expected for this coin. You can say that it is a speculative pump and dump. It will crash or slowly go down after this price surge. Don't expect that this coin will surpass BTC in any near future. Just ride the trend to earn some nice profits.  ::)

I don't see any unusual thing happening here nor i expect something spectacular yet. Because this happened so maby times already on other alt coins. In fact i even expect a crash sooner or later because i think this is just a failing effort to bring the price up, maybe some big players or a bunch of people are pumping the coins to gather attention and plan to dump it when they reached a desired amount.. ohh well, we'll see.. i might get interested in it also after a few months or years if it survives.

Why not? It is being said that Korean traders as well as China both are trying to boost the trading volume of Bitcoin Cash which is why it is bursting out hard. It has many reasons for such prices, one of which was its 8 MB block that had been successfully produced as well as the support of miners because of whom it successfully accomplished this goal and stabbed more than two weeks and will possibly complete a month after August ends.

It will probably keep on going up because it becomes more profitable to mine bitcoin cash. The mining difficulty level adjusts every day in bitcoin cash in comparison to bitcoin, which changes only around once every 2 weeks and it would most likely increase, while the opposite should happen to bitcoin cash.

I do not think that BCH price is so high and I have not bought it since its current $ 300 price it has raised to $ 700.

It seems to be just a typical pump&dump scheme. There were no relevant development or other news which should cause such hype. And BCH does not bring anything new in general, so for me it's a dead coin already.

Now I have to work around to get my bcc for I kept btc in my wallet blockchain.info while hardfork now it's having value I can convert them will get few bucks.

Bitcoin cash is the part 2 of Bitcoin, After Bitcoin Hard fork bitcoin cash was formed; now almost all exchanges excepting bitcoin cash and peoples trade easily.
Bitcoin price was up right now but it was touch up the high price.

This pump is caused by Korea friends of Roger and other big whales.Expect a big dump after this,like others altcoins...Be cautious ;)

Surges 40% in one day. I read that miners this week mined an eight megabyte block, which allows for greater transaction speeds. It's good to see that Bitcoincash is doing well for itself. It might be worth around $4000 sometime next year if the value keep on rising like this.

Of the sha-256 coins, bitcoincash is #1 for mining profitability. Bitcoin is at #7 (Peercoin is actually more profitable to mine than bitcoin at the moment!)

Bitcoin cash will probably reach parity with bitcoin in the future, I mean why wouldn't it ? If both coins have support and get as profitable with each other, then we should see them both at equal value at a point in the near future.

There is no way that something like that happens,peoples will not be changing their BTC in exchange of BCH,although there is much hubbub yet with respect to BCH the things will have to calm down.

The coin, that is bitcoin Cash went as high as $1000 yesterday the 19 August 2017 and the momentum was still strong.  We hope to see this coin keep going strong as I do believe that bitcoin Cash is the only major competitor to bitcoin core in future.  Bitcoin core will also has it own upward movement this week as I am speculating a correction of bitcoin Cash this week which will flow coin to bitcoin core.
