Masterluc a Legendary Bitcoin Trader
 now predicts that Bitcoin will reach $15,000 before the end of this year. What’s more, he believes that Bitcoin will reach a price of $40,000 - $110,000 by the end of this bull run. He gives a timeframe of 2019 for that price target.

While these numbers seem absolutely extraordinary, many traders have noted that the recent “bubble” doesn’t seem so bubbly after all. Bitcoin has not yet gone parabolic as it did at the end of previous bubble cycles.

There have been 'n' instances where 'x' different people have predicted that Bitcoin will reach 'y' USD within a 'z' time frame. You can expect even more speculations day by day and it could be that one of them will be right, or even none. Most of these speculations come off of watching, learning the trends from the past few years and as time progresses, these speculations could be more accurate.

It's really hard to agree or disagree for the simple reason that it can go both ways. However, the idea of btc reaching the said $15,000 is quite plausible.

It is not impossible to reach bitcoin's price to $15,000usd at the end of this year. maybe this was a good predicition and everyone is hoping for this to happen.

I agree that soon after a bull run, traders accept new price levels fast. It's the way I could explain myself that statement.

To estimate the rise of bitcoin seems very difficult to agree and disagree. The estimated time is 2019 to reach $ 15,000 seems a very short time but does not rule out the increase can occur if there is a significant change in bitcoin value. :) :)

I will have to agree with his predictions. Bitcoin has been reaching new all time highs since the beginning of this year, and who knows when will this stop. Bitcoin has already proved that it has the potential to reach that kind of value. Looking at the current value, a lot of investors who made their investments early last year never thought that bitcoin will reach its current value, around this time. Its a suprise to a lot of investors. Bitcoin will go big in the near future, I believe in bitcoin.

Possible but I don't think so. Bitcoin is indeed way to bubbly right now, and there has to be only one large holder who decides to sell, that can drop the price to 3000 by selling 5-6K bitcoins. Other than that, I don't think anyone can predict.

Personally, I always have a Bearish tendency within me. As in, I just can't believe that the upward trend will continue at this pace, the bubble will have to burst sooner or later, and BTC value won't reach these astronomical heights. But then again, according to some pessimistic predictions, the bubble should have bursted many months ago, and it is still not happening... So who knows? Maybe we are still in for an upwards ride! Personally, I think now is a wise time to get onto the crypto-train, for anyone who hasn't done so untill now. But if and when the right time to jump off and cash in is going to be, that's an entirely different question... In the end, everyone needs to listen to his or her own intuition.

Ah good old speculation. You see numbers being thrown all over the place and at this point it doesn't surprise me anymore. I agree on the bubble part. I think we're nowhere near the real bubble. I also agree on the bull run part. It's very possible that we will see a bull run until crypto becomes a very established market in a couple of years.

As a matter of fact, Masterluc doesn't have the slightest idea what Bitcoin's price is going to be and what he predicts doesn't matter because Bitcoin is highly volatile, and there is no concrete evidence to backup his claims.
All these traders are making speculation based on the chart only, without having much of an idea about Bitcoin's development and events, which are a huge factor of Bitcon's price.

I do not believe in this predictions but I do like them to come true. Who would not want a 100K $ bitcoin? But if I am going to be realistic, any price above 20K is already too much.

As the entire digital currency market is based on the trust and speculative approach anything might happen in no time. It's our responsibility to keep ourselves active, so that it can be earned without much difficulty as other forms of stock market moves.

Wow. $ 15000 is a huge value. Although he is a trader's legend, but I still doubt it. This is the end of August and 2018 stay for approximately 4 months. I think it would be very difficult to reach $ 15000. But that's okay, because no one can predict the market movement.

I believe reaching this value next year, not so sure that it can reach there in the next 4 months. So by his opinion BTC price will only reach  $40,000 - $110,000 or I misunderstood ?  I would be happy if it reaches $100,000 till 2019, everyone would I guess  :D

yah its always possible if some conditions are met which is in my opinion, less likely to happen. almost everyday there are tons of speculations regarding bitcoins price to the point

that it gets tiresome so asking us if we agree will probably don't mean anything moreover some people have this fixed idea that bitcoin will constantly rise to any speculations stating

that it'll rise is fine to them even though its not realistically possible. in my case theres no need to rush since i'm a long time holder bitcoin can take its time.

All of it are just an speculations for now, but it can be possible if the people will intend to push it through, together with the whale investors will also pursue, actually before 2019 there will more new millionaires I am sure about that.

i think it is a dream going to be true not in this year because only three months a head to 2018 but i would say by the end of 2018 bitcoin will hit 10.000 USD .

The stages i have been saying are of 2 forms. One is the good news stage, and the other is just the public hype of bitcoin reaching the next big price. Sometimes when it recovers from a fall, it happens too.

Right now there is none of that left to happen. I feel slowly all the money will move from bitcoin into Ethereum.

It's amazing if bitcoin prices are up to $ 15,000. I agree with that forecast, because I want a $ 15,000 price and it would be worthwhile to have a bitcoin with only 0.0001 btc.

We are currently in a bull run. Just like stocks, bull runs have an average lifetime, and immediately afterwards: a bear market. I think that these predictions MAY be accurate in that we can see 15,000 by the end of the year. BUT right at 15,000, maybe a sharp correction and a plummeting price that sends everyone running if not flying away, thinking that it was too good to be true. Then, when the storm calms down, it reaches an even higher high. That is in my opinion how the world works.

I don't know what everyone here expects of bubble behavior,  but we're
seeing some now, like it or not.  Prices are not meant to be exponential
for long.

If someone like him had to express an opinion on the direction of price, I tend to begin to think in that direction although not totally accepting rather than those wall street guys that will seat behind computers then read chats and come with a prediction. I would really want to know if his historical prediction has been accurate to some level before I begin to fully think in this direction.

I agree. Bitcoin is an unpredictable beast but one thing that most analysts will tell us is that Bitcoin will continue to go up in the coming months...as to how much would it be next year that is something only time can tell. I am not going to make my own prediction for this matter as it would be adding more incoherent voice in a sea of noise.

I think this is no impossible because a lot of people are expecting it too. And, more and more people are really into bitcoin nowadays because of this speculation. Investors keep on coming and a lot of people are willing to invest more bitcoin. Well, lets just see if this speculation happens.

If this happens this is fantastic, and wow for bitcoin. But can it? I am layman, just a little bit of my knowledge about bitcoin. Let alone predict for the future.

I don't know, at this point of view 15000$ looks unbelivable and exaggerated. I mean it looks very nice and I would like for this to happen but I'm not sure it's possible. So many factors that you can't predict influence the pricr and you can't be really sure how the market is going to respond. But the end of the year it's not so far away so we will find out soon enough.

I see $5000 to $7500 by year's end. Who knows what happens next. It could go into the tens next year.

True, there have been too many predictions over the months about this and most have failed. The good news is that everyone has failed because the bitcoin price has so far surpassed the most optimistic expectations; Therefore I see no reason why this new prediction can not be fulfilled.

We must take into account that the altcoins market is only at an early stage and still has a lot, a lot of room to grow, so I am convinced that in a few years we will see towards 2017 lamenting for not having invested when the price has not yet exceeded the $ 100K barrier.

I still do not have any bitcoin. I have been watching and waiting for it to come back down. It keeps going up and up so I am freaking out. Every day I think that it will be within my price range when I wake up but every day it is getting further away. I have the feeling that I missed the bus by waiting for too long.

No you haven't still missed the bus, it's still not late to buy. Buy small amount of bitcoin and wait for the rise in price and keep buying it in small amounts. Don't forget little drops of water make the mighty ocean

The newer Bitcoiners that want to purchase Bitcoin when the price of Bitcoin is that high could be a good thing or it could be a very bad thing depending on how many people want to purchase the coins then. If more coins were moved around during that price then more money would get sent to miners and they would have to find people that would want to exchange their coins for their currency of choice since mining Bitcoins isn’t free. That scenario would change if they used a solar mining rig to cut down the costs of mining.

Yes, I agree with that statement. If I'm not mistaken, the price of bitcoin every month or every year was lifting. Imagine the price before from $1200 - $4000, see how big its increase. So there is a big possibility that the value of bitcoin will reach a certain amount. That's why the price of bitcoin has a big changes at the end of the year indeed.

I think anything is possible in the crypto world. Ive always believed that BTC will hit $15K by mid 2018. With the way the prices are shooting up, I don't see how it couldn't reach $40K by that time frame.

I am not sure if it will reach this levels by this timing periods, it is almost impoosible to predict the price in the future because it depends with so many factors. But I agree that the price will likely increase in the near future at least.

I do not belief the price of bitcoin is going to get to 15K before the end of the year as speculated although it is very obvious that bitcoin has been volatile in recent days as the price is climbing up there is definitely going to be pullback and the price of bitcoin getting to that speculated price this year is not feasible.

I think it's impossible for anyone to give an accurate prediction.  But having said that, around $5k by the end of this year is likely. And in 2018, $10-15k.  However, maybe the emergence of more suitable methods of payment (Eth, OMG, TenX, even Ripple) will have a knockback effect on this.

Well I really do not think that bitcoin could go to that high price. I mean I am a fan of bitcoin and bitcoin is so cool for me. I really wanna aim its price on high but I doubt that it will go that high. Probably it will play at $10000 or probably $5000. It is in range of $5000 to $10000 price at the end of the year.

The price is fantastic if the true bitcoin price will reach $ 15,000 this year, I never even expect huge bitcoin price increase this year, but of course it can all happen to bitcoin.

I'm never surprised by the incredible price increase of bitcoin .. I think bitcoin prices will touch the price as you mentioned. May be bigger .. no one can predict bitcoin prices. If we see the price of bitcoin in early 2017 reaches 1500 $ + now we are all surprised by the doubled bitcoin price .. you will become rich with bitcoin ..

This is so Interesting, If you believe this prediction you should buy more on november, because there will be any hard fork on that month. As I've seen at the cryptocc calendar, maybe there's a dump of bitcoin and that was a discount time for me and others who believed in it. There's a lot of prediction have been made and post on this forum, It seem everytime Im seeing it, its become higher and higher. And I hope thats mean something.

True or not still it will be good to hoard bitcoins for now with nothing to loose at the end because bitcoin value is keep increasing but still it will be good that it will really to come up with that favorable huge value because it will benifits us all here. Lets see and wait

That can be true. 3k$ price was predicted by some traders too. Imo we could surely see 15k$ by end of 2k17, however 100k that's pretty unlikely.

Though it may seem ambitious to predict the $15,000 by the end of this year I would really agree to it. But really, it's hard to agree or disagree with any predictions right now because btc is full of surprises. But one thing's for sure, btc isn't bubbly enough for the past weeks and we will be seeing more of the bubble. All predictions of btc value as high as $100,000 are true. The only question that needs an answer is when will that be.

I think his prediction would be correct since having a title of "legendary" is a big thing to believe with. Being experience in trading could also make your prediction accurate so I won't doubt that his prediction will be correct and it is not impossible since the price hike of bitcoin is almost exponential.

Why would BTC price pump from $4000 to $15.000 in less than 4 months? I think there isn't any strong event that could lead Bitcoin to this new mark, it's too good to be true... If it reaches $5000 it's already a big victory. But if this guy is really a master trader he must have good reasons to say this, reasons that the majority of Bitcoin users don't know at this moment.

The question; where do you gonna exchange BTC5-6K at once? Or exchange it partially is a better idea? Or wait until bitcoin reach higher price such as $8000-$10000? Don't be greedy if you have huge amount of bitcoin, usually people sell small amount of bitcoin such as BTC1-BTC50 according to certain price.

I agree that bitcoin on bubble since the first time it was created, but $4000 seems as the standard price of bitcoin right now.
And segwit has been activated, but we still have to wait until all clear from wallet devs to upgrade the codes.
Then, we will see the Bulls run again.

I don't think it can reach $15000 by the year end... this prediction is way too aggressive. I think we can possibly reach $7500, but that is still half of $15000.

Yes, I do not agree with that opinion. What's more the $ 15000 price sounds really amazing. Maybe in a long time it's possible, but not for the near future. So we have to think logically.

It makes sense, because we do not know the potential of bitcoin. But I think it's still a bit difficult to reach in 2019. Maybe the time is too close. Well, it is very difficult to say agree or not.

Though I don't believe it will reach that high at the end of 2017, it would be more and more possible if big names would continue to make such bullish predictions. If alot of big names would have bullish predictions, what would the people do? They would go all out FOMO on bitcoin, buying out alot of the coins thinking they'll be rich in a few months, causing the prices to rise alot.


It's possible for a person to have an accurate prediction. The only problem is, there's so many decent names out there that's been giving out various predictions(rises to $15,000, crashes t0 $1,500, etc), that we wouldn't know who to believe in.  :D And yes I believe too that $5000-$6500 mark would be alot more less farfetched of a prediction.

He has no basis, a real basis, to come up with that idea or a speculation I mean? Or you forgot to include it in your post? It will not make sense by just saying that the price will this and that but no evidences that can support it is nothing but a speculation. I think OP should add the reference link.

no, i disagree. and in fact i hope that doesn't happen!
we are talking about a huge rise in a very short period of time. that is a 1400% rise this year with 275% rise only in 4 months and that is more than what a normal big rise in bitcoin can be in my opinion. this kind of rise will lead to a big bubble and then a long bear market which is going to suck.

we will however continue seeing a bull run this year and price will continue rising until the end of the year with one hiccup around the S2X thing.

There is no doubt that bitcoin continue to rise in price but not that way, I do not think Bitcoin will rise to 15K in less than a year

the prediction too over pricey as you can the price of bitcoin currently still played on ,$4k. that will impossible to reach $15k this year. if you say for three or four year later it might be really happen.

yes its possible but i think he missed something which is correction price, we don't know how much correction price when the price get down and we must remember that if the price is down, there is many chance to down too deep. although i believe that bitcoin can reach the price in his prediction but still we need to thinking about correction price which always come after increase price.

I have never heard his name before and I am glad I haven't, have you even seen the figures quoted by him, ask yourself logically how in the world will it happen. I don't really get it where they get all this astronomical figures from, it makes absolutely no sense for such high figures. I believe that 5500$ is where it can max reach and then stabilize at 5k year on. In two years 7-8k is max I see it and on the downfall 2-3k won't go below than that. I hope this legendary person of yours has calculated the forks coming Bitcoin way.

I strongly agree about the prediction, seeing the current price of Bitcoin has reached $ 4,000 and possibly by 2019 Bitcoin can break the $ 110,000 figure. We look forward to the year 2019 there will be many millionaires in various countries.

I don't think that the price will reach to that point very fast and in just a few years because even though bitcoin is now popular in the most countries, it is not still enough for bitcoin to reach to that price because it needs a lot more demand from the people to start going up more than 10,000 USD price and now the demands are not enough even just to reach at least 7,000 USD.

I think $15k before the end of the year is a way too optimistic. Dont forget we have BTC fork scheduled for November. I d say $6k before the end of this year and after that, anything s possible.

In my opinion,15 k dollars cannot be reached  by the end of this year. It is quite unlikely, I also prefer a more slow but steady rise and not a pump, in order to take more time to see what will happen and to do the right moves.

By this day if 15000$ or even just 10000$ is possible, the price must be around 5-6000$ at the end of august, so I don't agree for I only based my prediction to reality and movements of bitcoin on market and exchanges graph. Let him believe on that and will see if it stands on next few months as the the end of the year is near.

Well, if not exactly close to that value, I can think of it going very close to it. The "bubble" as you pointed out as not a bubble after all, and its on the rise once again.
I don't see it going down from here at least in this year or next.

i cant say i agree or disagree because end of the year is past approaching, if it will be happen that the btc price will rise up to $15,000 I could only say thats a very good predection , 

I am also a trader (with 5-6 years experience), and in my opinion bitcoin will not go higher than 9000-10000 in this bubble. Many say that bitcoin will not go higher than 6000 in this bubble, what I do say is that at the end of the year the bitcoin will be somewhere around 8000. The 100 000 Price is attainable but not next year 2018, sometime between 2020 and 2022. Believe me I do have some trading experience also and I know to read the indicators.

There is no doubt that by seeing the progress made by bitcoin it will cross 5-6k by the end of this year but reaching at 15k is not possible. This is hilarious rather. It can be done in next year. Because it can also drop at any time, we cannot say anything about it now. But after it enters next year I think more people will start using it because there are people who are gathering money to buy bitcoin next year they will start using it and result we all know.

If you think that price prediction is hilarious then just think of what happen in litecoin when the segwit is activated, it shoots up very high because of the upgrade or development that has been done in litecoin and i think that it is also possible in bitcoin because bitcoin got more audience or people in the community so those prices can reach if we want to and if we unit together to just buy bitcoin.

Its impossible to predict but if we are throwing out numbers I could see it getting into the millions. If you figure that there arent enough bitcoin for each millionaire to own one and that bitcoin has the possibility of replacing the current global economic system, I think $15,000 is nothing. Looking back at these discussions people would say they think bitcoin could get to $1000 or $4000 and others would disagree and not long ago $4500 seemed impossible to many.

I think price might not reach $15k by end of this year any price between $5k to $10k is possible. Also $100k can't be reached within 2019.

I can only hope that price will go up as high as that because I am just a newbie in this cryptoworld and given that you are experienced trader with a positive prediction as that would give me hope of being able to profit for years to come. There have been many predictions as to what would be the price of bitcoin at the end of the year and years to come and seems almost all are saying its going up. This gives me the confidence to invest more on this and encourage my family and friends cause they might miss an opportunity of a lifetime.

I totally agree with the forecast. Because we can not deny Bitcoin has reached its all-time high since the beginning of this year, and who knows when it will stop this Bitcoin has proven that it has the potential to achieve such a value. Hmm I really think that the $10000 prediction might be true. We have a group conversation in facebook where we talk a lot about cryptocurrencies and this topic was brought up to us and we believe that it is true. It was only delayed because of many ICOS.

I don't think so bitcoin will reach that target within duration of two years. There is a very huge difference between its present worth and the predicted one. It can be somewhere around 50k dollars at most.  However, it is doubtless that there will be more millionaires but again if millionaires will be in excess; it will not be cherished then as much as it is now.

Although those values sound outrageous but nothing is impossible at least from what we have seen ourselves so far. It seems countries are beginning to adopt it and the more the merrier. Giving it some few months or years to this time, we may start seeing a huge bullish up rise in the value of bitcoin.

There is no chance to bitcoin hit 15k$ by the end of the year. Let's be honest, this price is just impossible to come true so soon. But I would not say it is totally impossible. I am sure that 10k $ is not so far, so 15000$ also :)

Anyone can give their predictions. But it was based on what they saw. Because if they were given no basis it was not worth it.Now based on what I see above the btc price over the past two years (2015 - 400 $), (2016-1000 $) and now (2017 - 4000 $) Almost double, three times its raised. And this can still be continued. If i could be the one to ask. It still continues to rise. And I believe in the expert . Let just see in the prediction of the community and what is more weighty in the two conversations.

Yeah we're all hoping that to happen but let's just be realistic, maybe if we even touch the $5000 and up within the next few months then maybe that will happen. But to think of it we have 4 months to go before the year ends so this is quite hard to believe. Bitcoin is really unpredictable so I just watch it grows and hold my bitcoin.

I'm still convinced that it wont pass the 1K mark so there's no way I can imagine it breaking the 10K mark.  I have been wrong before, several times. That's why I still don't own any bitcoin. I'm waiting for it to get back down to the 200 dollar range.

If bitcoin hits $15,000 i will be happy too. Though its just only a prediction it is a very big help and very nice news for this year. I am hoping and still hoping that it will be happen.

I still dont believe anyone can correctly predict the price even if they call themselves a master trader or even if they actually are a master trader on the stock market. Bitcoin is still too small and outside events can vastly affect the price.

I can not fully agree on this however I believe that it is possible. Given the performance of Bitcoin in the past years, if you look at the 5 year graph price of Bitcoin against U.S Dollars, you can see how good the performance of Bitcoin is spiking up the price to a whooping over 4000 U.S Dollars. And if the demand of Bitcoin continues to increase, it can certainly reach that prediction. However, as I said I can not fully agree because the risk is still to have a decline of demand therefore the decline of price. Anything can happen we can never tell.

I don't think if anyone can correctly predict the price of bitcoin, because anytime the price was change. We are not sure what happen in the next next yr in the price, But i believe that it will increase as long as the people always use bitcoin and also especially if we continue to link on it.

Bitcoin reaching 15000usd is a welcome development but the year remain just four months to end.

It won't take bitcoins long to touch its next target which is 10k dollars. Maybe, in 2018 it would be this much valuable. However, I have heard people who talk about 100k dollars but that are a big amount really. It will take it some time and maybe I will not live that long, to see bitcoins this expensive.

I am also not an expert but I have the same belief as you have. At least this is for sure that the price of bitcoins will be more than 10k dollars in the coming year. However, there may be a dip but that won't cause anyone any loss because the price will be still too high. People say that but personally, I am not witnessing any dump.

Having huge prices in coming years will be inevitable thing to happen with bitcoins. Because bitcoin was designed to have huge prices and it is already started to happen and we are experiencing that in real time.

My instincts tell me the same. Bitcoins will be worth ten thousand dollars within two years or so. It is becoming more and more expensive with every passing month. I was thinking about a dip to occur but there are no signs of it so far. It is making progress by leaps and bounds.

Heck no I don't agree.  BTC has already slowed its growth in the past week or so.  I think it will level off short of $5,000.00, decline sharply and stay around $4,000 until the end of the year.  No huge drops, no huge gains.  It will be higher in 2019 than it is today though.  Probably around $13,000.00. 

Just so you know.  I have absolutely no basis for the above other than it just being my gut feeling!

Reaching $10,000 or close to that price may seems to be realistic given the timeframe will be until next year and what's more if it until 2019. Now to the main concern of OP,  $40,000 - $110,000 seems to be realistic "if" it will be based on continous bull run. Actually the timeframe until 2019 is already long since the basis was "continous bull run".

But in reality, there is a thing called price crash that can lasts for days or weeks before pumping it up again, meaning it will eat some of the period until 2019 reached. Conclusion; I will give 30% chance "for now" that bitcoin price will reached $40k+ but not in the timeframe until 2019. Who knows anyways.

This is a bit odd. $15000 at the end of this year is truly impossible if yoi estimate because we could barely reached the $5000 mark. Although who am I to say but for my opinion yes those prices where not impossible but those timeframes is just too fast. I can only see bitcoin hitting $5000 by the end of this year and I am ready if after this year its rice would breakdown but I am still hoping it would not and also hoped that the segwit will help bitcoin rise up consistently.

Anything can happen for sure. So why not. One of the reasons that price goes up is because fewer and fewer holds large amounts of BTC in their wallets..its becoming more and more popular. Perhaps one day one satoshi will be one dollar.

I think it can easily reach that but it would be very hard to sell them for that price to people because no one would buy it for that much unless you are very rich so i think it is better to not go higher than $10k.

2017 has been a Stellar year in terms of growth and acceptance of crypto and bitcoin. I mean, it's now considered legal tender in Japan? Seriously?? How crazy was that idea just last year!

So my opinion on the future price of bitcoin is extremely bullish, I think $20k by Q2 2018 is very likely. We always underestimate how much something can grow and continue growing, like the stock market now instead of correcting itself is just going up and up. Pain will ensue but as much as some people would like to have you think it's coming soon, there's still plenty of room for growth in the meantime. Shorts are gonna get rekt until the real crises comes.

Well, this is just a bold prediction and is an opinion from him, I think, since he didn't show any strong proofs that can show that bitcoin will reach $15,000. And I disagree with that idea. At this point, bitcoin price is playing between $3,900 and $4,000. Take note that it is already September. We only have remaining 3 1/3 months to go before the year ends. Putting that into perspective, bitcoin need to take a 375% increase in its market value to say at least that Masterluc is right. But then, thinking about that 375% increase in just 3 months? I don't think, it's possible.

On the other hand, I agree with your second statement: YES, BTC is, in my opinion, not really bubbly after all. We can see, as per record, that bitcoin dropped from around $4,300 to $2,980 in just few hours (or more than a day), but that didn't last long. It immediately climbed up to $3,800 after few days, and now, it's playing around $4,000.

Overall, I think that bitcoin will become more valuable in the coming years, and might make bitcoin owners become millionaires in the near future.

Well it might not be a 100,000 USD per bitcoin in this year but I heard a lot of stories and also I've watched videos from every source and I saw that bitcoin is near the 25,000 USD mark. And it is so great to think of that a cryptocurrency that started at low price is now reaching a higher price! WOW.

Well there is a possibility of it reaching as what that person says as bitcoin made a lot of people investing now on it internationally. And 15,000 dollar is not much of a price as if it will be adopted. But who knows there is no telling what will come. In the next few years surely it might get higher than now.

At this time and wth the current wave of things, I must say its really hard to know what to believe because at one point, its going the position one wanted, and the other minute, the reverse is happening but it really does not matter what we all believe if we are not going to act towards such position as hoping things will just happen is not the right way to go.

I'm kinda half-and-half  on this prediction. I couldn't say that Bitcoin is stable at this point because of all the controversies. It would be a blast if his prediction does happen! But lots have actually predicted that it would go much much higher...either or,  quite a number will be partying! :-)

The time frame this guy suggested seems to short in my humble opinion. It will takes years in order to see such levels. There are many problems at the moments, especially with authorities and governments. Perhaps another order of magnitude can be achieved with more stability and at the end of the mining process.

I think that masterluc is too optimistic to predict such a huge price.Its true that bitcoin has recovered quickly from the downfall occurred due to china's actions against bitcoin.Also,its expected that china might ban bitcoin mining also.If such a thing occurs,then it wold be a great doubt that whether the another hard fork which we all feared of due to segwit 2x activation would occur or not.If it does not occur,then it would be a great relief for bitcoin making its price to sky rocket.But still,$15,000 is a very high figure to be achieved within this year end.

this is not imposible. since i started to learn bitcoins way back march 2016 it only range 600$ per 1btc and now 2017 it reach to the highest price of 4,800$ per btc. i just dis agree that 15,000$ will not reach this year. possibly  2018 or 2019 there is a chances.

Though it  sounds impossible but i think its quite possible . Look at the bitcoin price chart , In 2016 bitcoin price was something  500 , In the start of this year bitcoin price was almost 1500 and now bitcoin price is 4000+ . So i am agree with that.

In my opinion I think at the end of this year Bitcoin can't reach to 10k$ cause at this time there are some guys are taking advantage of their powerful announcement to dump the price of Bitcoin then buy it at lower price, for example CEO JPMorgan Chase, it's the main reason why I think Bitcoin can't reach to 10k$ this year but I still believe that Bitcoin can reach 10k$ or maybe more but not in this year.

$ 5,000 for Bitcoin is small target, although I agree with you this target is reasonable in this year while the price of Bitcoin has dumped below support price. But I think with the momentum in this year, Bitcoin can reach to more target in future, even $50,000 or $100,000 is possible.

I don't agree with the prices but what i agree is that Bitcoin price will go up certainly. But with that amount we still need a lot of time for Bitcoin to get to that amount, 2019 is not enough to reach the said price but still price will go up.

I am also concerned about the fork.  Worst possible time to have this type of uncertainty (not that any time would be great).  But things feel like we are right on the cusp of much wider mainstream knowledge/acceptance of BTC.  This fork, and even the continuing prospect of it occurring, could screw that all up by creating FUD.

I hope there is contingency planning going on somewhere.  Haven't checked out the listservs or reddit.

I think it is too optimistic scenario, now we see how Bitcoin is "suffering" under the not popular decisions of China government, speeches of famous "gnomes", press releases of Central Banks and etc, but the next "wave" I believe should bring BTC rather higher than 5k $ per BTC. Which level of price we will see at the end of the year? It is difficult to predict, the volatile is high.

OP's statement were during the Bitcoin bull run, it seems the speculation failed already.  At this state, Chinese getting very aggressive in controlling Bitcoins transaction to the point of banning them and the possible shutdown of mining farm in their country.   I think Bitcoin needs a lot to recover from this dip.

I don't agree with his prediction from a realistic perspective. Based on the market, unless there is an absolutely insane bull run, there is next to no way for Bitcoin to be cracking $10,000, let alone $15,000, when we have barely cracked $5k and haven't been able to stay in that range consistently. His prediction for $40k+ by 2019 is also fantastical based on the market; he's reading too much into the past and assuming that, just because we went from $400 (2015) to $4000 (2017) in 2 years, means the same trend will happen again.

It is growing in the country because the use of the bitcoin is now getting very high and don’t listen to the other so if you are having the money and you w3ant to invest it then invest in your own choice.

No, I don't agree. Since it is the beginning of October, in 3 months Bitcoin would have to triple in price to reach that goal. Too good to be true imo. Bitcoin has already exploded. It will increase in price, but it will be gradual and take much more time. I guess only time will tell for sure.

I doub't about it, 15K is not realistic, even history could not tell what will be the future price of bitcoin is, It does involve updates and upgrades not to mention some usage suppression in some areas and making FUDs, Some altcoins are emerging showing support from some business companies that makes bitcoin facing some sh**ty competitors.

It's just a prediction but I hope it'll come true. In my opinion I think the upcoming hard fork is the key factor decide the price of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin price want to get over 10k$ in this year I think it must be the same as it was after the hard fork on 1st August when its price increased very quickly from more than 2k$ to over 4k$ in just few days after the hard fork so if this thing will happen the price of Bitcon will increase from 4k5$ to more than 10k$ very soon but I'm not sure for this case.

That's if the Hardfork proponents will cooperate, what is disturbing right now is that they are still mum about the opponents issue and will answer questions after the fork implementations, unlike the previous fork that they considered BIP's.

IMO $15k by the end of this year is highly unlikely. We could go upto $6k by 25oct, but then the price will crash back to $4.5k or so. In the longterm, it will require a lot of big news for bitcoin to reach $10k or more.

Reaching 15k$ is not a big suprise, if bitcoin will grow same like now, next year bitcoin will reach that mark, but how we know we can trust only on our thinking and luck, time will tell.
