How about the Internet? Of course they are not, because they provide a novel, revolutionary, historically unprecedented value / service to the world, for almost nothing in return (mostly the passion-fueled hard work of their respective maintainers) which is obviously [at least to me] more than simple belief. Given that we just had one (popped by MtGox becoming a 'victim of its own success') it'll be a little while. Having said that, there are a LOT of bullish traders on btc.sx at the moment.

Gox doesn't let you buy higher than the lowest current asking price or sell lower than the highest bid price. I found this out when I accidentally left a zero out of my asking price and it was executed immediately. I thought I had just sold a bunch of coins at about 10x less than the current market price, but then I looked at my trade history and was glad to see that it was sold at the lowest bid price.
