Title: Which ICOs are you investing in, and why?
Post by: Retired on August 27, 2017, 10:47:27 AM
I think this thread can be useful to discover new and interesting ICOs to invest in.

Which ICOs are you investing in, and why?

I'll start:
Bankera. They plan to provide everything you may need in you financial life: IBANs, cards, loans..
The team developing the project already owns a bitcoin exchange, regulated in the EU.

Presale in 11 minutes sounds really interesting. How much of the 4.5 millions have already been presold?

XBL Billionaire Token, ICO has just started today and have already sold 750k of tokens, total supply is 3 million at $0.10.

Why is it a good bet?

Total supply of 3 million tokens is a low amount, add to that a $0.10 token price gives a total marketcap at ICO of $300k. When this hits the exchanges a marketcap of $3 million is easily attainable making nice x10 ROI.

With the current high price of BTC this is such an easy buy, plus they have a 75% bonus currently for another hour or so which makes the ROI even higher than x10.

The project itself is interesting with a built in deflationary model that will passively increase the value of each XBL as total supply is reduced. The devs are very active and easy to get hold of to answer questions and very transparent unlike a lot of other projects.

I missed Pally presale and I am very upset now. I met Yvonne Ike a long time ago and I would say... if she believes in Pally's team, so do I.
The only drawback is that ICO starts in more than a month, so I have to set the date in my calendar

Right now, I'm eyeing to invest some BTC to  SOCIAL (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2100970). Yes, you would say that I'm endorsing this because of the signature that I have for them but I seriously think that they would provide some innovation in the market and in return, will provide you some good profit when you invest to them. I wouldn't go into technicalities why this is a good coin but you can check their ICO page (https://ico.nexus.social/) for more information. We still have 3 days left for the 30% bonus. Please check it out.  ;D

Bowhead

One of factors that is really important for me is that, The ICO or the project has a product. Bowhead is device which deals with people health. It is a medical instrument. I am also waiting for KICKICO crowdsale to start.

I am watching KickICO, Nexus and Crowdholding.

KickICO provides a platform for startup to raise funds.  - https://www.kickico.com/
Nexus provides a dencentralised social media platform  - https://ico.nexus.social/
Crowdholding is a co-creation platform that connects startups with the general public. - https://ico.crowdholding.com/

KickICO has just finished it's presale and will start their ICO in a few days
Nexus is into their ICO
Crowdholding is a week into their presale, so it's a good time to get some bonuses and get more for your money.

Reason i am looking into these are they are interesting projects, with a strong team, great whitepaper, good concepts and a strong social media following. If i had to pick one to invest in, i would pick Crowdholding as they are still in the Pre-sale meaning that you can get a lot more for your money. But all look promising projects.

Etherparty - mainstream smart contracts to allow the normal person to be able to use smart contracts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2111650.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2111650.0)
Currently bitcoin does not use smart contracts.  Etherparty will help enable smart contracts on bitcoin platform.  Will be huge!
https://themerkle.com/etherparty-and-rootstock-announce-a-multichain-smart-contract-solution/ (https://themerkle.com/etherparty-and-rootstock-announce-a-multichain-smart-contract-solution/)

Centra - TenX and Monaco competitor.  TenX and Monaco had a great post ICO success and Centra is even better.  See chart comparison
http://imgur.com/OftsfGS
Also with Centra being a US company, they are able to ship cards to US and the rest of the world while TenX and Monaco have to fight SEC and all the regulations and hope there is a good outcome and no one knows how long that will take.

I really suggest you to invest in 0x project (ZRX coin) it is not an ICO anymore.. and it is on main exchangers like poloniex or bittrex. Their ico ended a few days ago, and when it came to poloniex it was $0,05 each coin and now it is closing at $0,35 each one.
I bought a few thousands of it, it looks really promising and some people think this coin is gonna reach $5 before the end of the year.

sounds legit

Take a look at Ambrosus, Enigma and Black Moon, all very different and all very good ICO's coming out in September. SO why these 3? Well you have Ambrosus which is going to use IOT and blockchain to calibrate a sensory device that can monitor food and medicine and allow delivery over the blockchain and payment to more accurate and a better quality product delivered.
Enigma is really working hard to achieve one of the best trading platforms for cryptos and it seems to have a lot of great background and knowledge on the subject a stellar team I might add. Another great one Black Moon , This crypto is looking to tokenize investment funds. A lot of people are timid or scared to enter the crypto market leaving all their fiat behind. Black Moon is creating that bridge to merge Fiat and Crypto to be managed on one easy Platform Black Moon. I think this crypto really will bring is the masses into the crypto space with ease. If you have any questions just let me know.

Thanks.

I'm looking to invest in REAL ico.

We all know that blockchain is not far from mainstream adoption and so I'm investing in companies using block chain in as many industries as I can. I really like the look of REAL, they're combining crowdfunded real estate investment with blockchain tech.

Crowdfunded real estate investment is a rapidly growing market, it is already worth 3.5 billion and is predicted to be worth over 200 billion in a few years.

Block chain is growing rapidly as is crowdfunded real estate investment. In my eyes an investment worth my money.

I'm divesting (selling) all ICOs and never investing nor buying an "ICO-issued" token, because
I don't want to go to jail or suffer massive fines and watch my investment collapse in the future:

It's implausible to expect that millions of ICO investors worldwide will be imprisoned, so in my opinion it's irrational not to invest currently. I'd rather be concerned if I were an ICO team member - they could indeed be in legal trouble rather soon.

There aren't millions.
ICO issuers buy the ICO from themselves to make the illusion of significant interest, while thus pre-mining most of the tokens to themselves.

Probably less than 10,000 ICO investors of any significant amount.
I agree the regulators probably won't waste their effort to go after those who are only speculating with their lunch money.

The people who need to pay attention are those who have significant amount of money tied up in "ICO-issued" tokens.
They had better think carefully about this.

Also the potential fines and jail time is not the only threat.
The other threat is the collapse in the price of these "ICO-issued" tokens.

Check out Black Moon Crypto. They have an all star team and has a solid planning. I think this is a good investement and in long term this will be about 15, 30 or even 50 USD. Go on to their website and have a look at it. They have a roadmap to launch various funds over the time. BMC will build the platform which will give excess to fund managers and the funds will be independently maintained by these fudn managers from all over the world. The most important thing about BMC is that they are built upon Etherium and they will leverage the smart contracts to accomplish this.

One end we can have funds invested in tech companies and at same time have funds in traditional companies which trade in the stock market. Everything from Index Funds, Blockchain related companies, Venture capital funds etc cold be covered. By 2020 they even plan to expand to real estate space. They have an awesome expansion plan.

If you are interested, do check their website and join the telegram channel for further info:

I hope ICO market will died soon like your said, the profit from ICO really make us cannot stop investing to them. Example: Monetha ICO just sold out all their token in 18 minutes, I remember is 95,000 ETH (hardcap). So, you also know ICO market is a field can compete with mining or trading normal.

Te social coin + nexus blend and currently live ICO in their third week bonus. The reason I would choose for this ICO is their stability and trust that they failed in short period of time. In angel day only they met their minimum requirement of selling the coin and which made them successful for everyone who invested at that time. Looking at that people went crazy and by the third week now they have risen off the chart funds with big share to be given fir investors like us. :-)

Moreover, they already have working model of nexus app and web service which is dovish networking site with premium features.

I've not invested in any ICO recently but I'm holding some byteball coin amount for this airdrop that is going to happen in the next few days! Simple there are many ICOs and it does take too much time to analyze each one and decided which one worth more than the other investing in! The coinmarketcap is being filled with lots of new coins that really are "earning" millions!

I will invest in the Aventus project as this is a revolutionary project in the ticketing market. We must regularly buy tickets on the black market at very high prices but that will change at this time because Aventus will ensure you get a cheap ticket through the new platform of Aventus.

I participated in Modum: because it has a great real world use case and the technology seems great. Crowdsale is still open at: https://modum.io/tokensale/

I am planning to contribute to STeX pre-ICO just because I like risky investments with a potentially great return: https://stex.exchange/up/9jeav705j0j4

Furthermore I am looking for a whitelisted Kyber account, I am really interested to participate, but unfortunately missed the whitelist registration.

Other interesting projects include Aventus, BitJob, Spheris, Centra, ICON but I am undecided if an how much to invest.

ICO's are more risky then anything. The majority end up way lower then you bought them for. Think about this:

- ICO's are just a finger in the air at what they will be worth which is just silly to buy on a whim.
- All tokens have a percentage given away to staff/developers/backers etc. Once it hits an exchange there is a big dump for those people to get a profit which drives the price down
- The amount of Fraud that can happen with them. Even with some successful ICO's there are still stories of scams, outside of their control but still happens.

Worlcore = The world first EU-regulated payment institution with voice Biometrics investigation.
These 2 project also has great and solid team.

I'm looking to invest in Crowdholding depending on how well their first week goes.

Reasons why:-

Solid team - with top guys from Google, Skype, Oracle. Large team as well with marketers, developers, law and actual financial experts.

White paper solid - Nicely designed, makes sense, numbers all add up, nice minimum threshold and caps, finite amount of tokens

Social media - Strong and interacting with people, their reply to their thread very quickly.

Concept - Makes sense and is actually wanting to do something good for startups and the average person.

All points to a solid good project, expect them to do something!

Website is below

I've invested, and am investing, in CREDITS. See my signature. They're on the same fundamental level as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Only the performance promises to be better (higher speed, lower transaction cost). They also have a very attractive bounty campain running: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2241121.0. It is not going to be a sub-token but a real cryptocurrency. It is my advice to take advantage of my advice.  :)

Tokens that are realized within of the ICO campaign will give an opportunity to receive income up to 36% per annum in the crypto currency (in bitcoin or up to 270% in USD, this income can be during the period when mining equipment works). Tokens are provided with real square meters of built residential real estate. More information on the site https://estate-coin.com

I'll start:
Bankera. They plan to provide everything you may need in you financial life: IBANs, cards, loans..
The team developing the project already owns a bitcoin exchange, regulated in the EU.
I did invest on Cartaxi ICO which it is almost accumulating $4m usd as of now which you can able to see the status on here https://cartaxi.io/ico
I do love the project because they are already operating before the funding did happen.

Second is Aphelion. This project is based on NEO BLOCKCHAIN and is one of the most popular ICOs in which potential investors are willing to invest.

They are going to make fnancial trading and transaction  brokerless! It 's a huge task but the Team believes it can b done and I Trust them 100%!

CarTaxi has pretty low rating by several agencies, I wouldn't recommend it to paricipate. Other ones you've mentioned are good in my opinion too. BankEx looks the most potentially successful of them.

I participate in 2 ICOs at the moment — Robot Vera and Crypterium. The first one completed pre-sale already and looks very promising. The second one is even more interesting for me than BankEx. The 3rd ICO I suggest to consider for the next month is Spectiv VR.

Only in uTrust, i am only investing $500 in there, not more because i think that this is a huge amount of money to invest into an ico, because it is too risky.
There are not too many icos who diserve our trust right now, most of them are scam, and honestly, i dont expect to get much money in return from them.
Maybe if i make $750 with that $500 that i invested, i will be happy with that.
