How do you know then that it will be pump and no less than big whales?

Siacoin has already seen ups and downs and have been pump and dump a few times. I'm not saying that it will not be pump, and I believed that many are still trap and can't exit, but if what are you saying are true or you are just hyping the coin so that you can dump it in time, remains to be seen. I was able to exit though, but I don't know if I need to re-invest again. I'll just keep a close eye on it and see if really some big entities will pump it again.

IT IS NOT A PUMP AND DUMP.  It is an simple increase in value based on technical analysis. Many pros will say the same.

Microsoft offer an cloud storage for 100$ a month or year. They offer the same storage for only 10$.  Do your own research.

Yes i am very happy to see that pump, yesterday it was closing at 175 satoshis each coin, and at the moment it is at 207 each, at least 25% increase in less than 12 hours. It was time to see a pump already, i hope we can see siacoin like in the old days... like at 400 sat each, that would be wonderful.
i dont have siacoin anymore, i get bored of that coin, but good luck for all who are holding it.

I think it had been down for too long just having positive correction based on market mood. Still good, slow n steady rise!

It's extremely undervalued right now for what it offers. They just need an effective marketing team. You save 10x your money when you use them. The thing is is no body knows about them. If you aren;t in the crypto world you have no clue about them. The product is great but if you can;t sell it then it's worth nothing.

Why should they go into strong marketing at the moment?
It would be a mistake, in my opinion.
They should have a decent, easy to use platform and network first, otherwise the price will make a rollercoaster and would left zounds of confused investors behind. The reputation will be damaged and the time to restore it will take too long.
First: The full functional product.
Then: Marketing - and the price will moon and the support will hold it on a high level, no matter what will come.
In the meantime, it is an investment for freaks and for believers, like we are. We can get over all the turbulences of its changing value. But the mainstream will be pissed off and do a runner. So they better know nothing about this juwel named Sia at the moment.

I agree about Siacoin deserved lot better prices all these months. It was so bad to see it creeping at downs. I hope this time it will be so much better. I dropped something like $10.

I hope this is finally an increase for real. And I hope it stays increased for at least a few weeks. That way people will stop speculating about when it will be an "epic moon pie" or whatever it is that people like to call it  ::). This has got to be the most hyped coin over the last 6 months or so.

I will admit, I have bought it, and mine it daily (alongside ETH). But I don't have real high hopes for it. For now, I will hold it until it makes sense to get rid of it -- probably once and for all.

You are right, sia will be pumped to billion dollars market cap in this year or next one, sia will be valuable as ripple soon. This is inevitable.

I agree with you regarding Sia Coin, but I don't think Ripple can really be the coin that we all expect it to be. Its just funded by big Japanese business to keep it alive!

Sia is cheap. His potential is mych growth. Im hodl them. Esp too good coin...

I've seen it many times. And of course fallen again. So many people are losing money because of the misinformation you provide so you stop being an expert but no basis. Let it grow in a natural way so we all benefit not just your own thoughts..

The next soon for SIA coin will be great again. I hope that it will happen in a months time not next year.

It has fallen way too much and stayed there for quite a while, I really doubt that it will recover back to it's previous price and then surpass it.
While many other altcoins have recovered their price, SiaCoin is still in the dumps.

We have seen the rise of siacoin during the worst possible months for trading ---> The major vacation time.   We can be shure, that during this time only pump and dumpers was around.

Now all the big investors are back from the beaches ready to gain big profis. We have seen the last weeks that the korean people are crazy into cryptos.  Big investors will always buy low and sell high. In my opionion with that beeing said we could see an much much higher rally then during the worst trading months from june to august.

Everybody got an phone. How many of you have got storage problems with their phone? Are you willing to pay Sia for 1 Terabyite of onlinestorage for only 2€ a month?  Be prepared for the next rally!

Apparently, Siacoin is not just a coin whose life is at the hands of some big whales. Sure, there are big whales holding SC but not for some pump and dump motives. SC is a trusted coin and is a working project also. SC is very much unlike many coins that are simply pump and dump. But I noticed the current pump of SC though.

I just can't wait to earn millions from the 25 coins I have :D

Who doesn't know if you'll remember it once had a price of 1000 sat and it wasn't for a short time it just wasn't a short term pump the price remained at that point for a really long time because of all the bitcoin drop it was lost and finally kept dropping now people have realised this and pump will happen i would recommend to exit to 1000 sat

its interesting to see this thread from a couple months ago and people thinking its gonna kill it but its only gone down. Its almost 100% down from its ATH. I love the idea but I dont know if it time for people to want decentralized cloud storage.. Maybe some time next year?

I cannot wait for this coin to hit. I have been mining it as a secondary for some time now and have accumulated a lot of it. My partner took his rigs off of it a couple months ago, but I still have faith it will pop and left mine on it. I really hope all these high predictions for SIA come to fruition soon!

You are right, Sia will be pumped into the billion dollar market this year or the next year, will be very precious as shouted immediately. It will not be inevitable, but now all the big and rich investors are coming back from the beach ready to get big profits. You've seen the last weeks that people from korea are crazy about cryptocurence. Big investors will always buy in low prices and sell at high prices. I kinda changed to DCR with my dual mining , but will keep my sia coins  :D

For some reason I do not believe that this coin will become expensive. The project is very weak and I doubt that large investors will be interested in this coin. For investment, it is better to choose some other coin

Little progress seems to have been made with Sia and in fact is seems to be regressing rather than progressing. The price is so cheap now though so it may be worth buying, I'm personally going to wait and try to buy around 40 satoshi.

I'm holding SC for good because I believe on this great technology, the price are really cheap right now maybe because they are focusing more on bitcoin in the past days but I know altcoins will pump next year and specially SC so just HOLD and be more patient.

I bought Sia around 400 satoshi, so it's The Worst Decision of My Life. I just wanna my money back.

It's the same Asic name for SIA and Decred. It's called the Obelisk. The Obelisk for SIA is the "SC1" model the one for Decred is the "DCR1" model.

Man I feel so bad for people that invested in sia. It was one of my I initial mining options but I chose not to. Thank god for that decision, but for all you still in it hodl strong.

You need to wait for a long time. 400 sat means it needed almost 8x growth to the current price.

Sia coin is a potential coin to invest. But I dont think that it will have a quickly development soon. Many investors are focusing on Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash

Now the price of sia coin is increasing. Earlier there are so many pumps and dumps. The price of sia is decent now. It is better to buy this now and hold it for future to sell and gain profit.

Feelsbadman, I know what you are going through. I bought SIA also at 300 sats and again at 400 sats. Now I am a bagholder and cant do anything about it. What I learned from this is that you should never run behind an hype. And if you do nonetheless, you should sell as soon you made profits, at least take your initial investment out again. Wish had done this with SIA too when it reached almost 800 sats, but stupid me thought it would rise higher. Lesson learned.
