With patience and one post a day you will eventually increase your activity. The activity parameter prevents spammers from increasing rank too quickly

This is the explanation :
Post ≠ activity but you need to post to get activity every activity update.
This is the calculation how activity calculated :
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

In my mind, I just believe my activity just levels up 14 every two weeks.

If I miss a two-week period, I will lose all the activity. Am I right?

Based on observation, posts are updated eventually after you posted, replied or quoted. Activity is the same, this is also a count of those activities i mentioned but it is only updated once your post has been verified by admin.

No, whatever activity you've gained previously still remains. The activity doesn't decrease.

The only thing that happens if you miss a 2-week period is that you miss the chance to increase your activity by 14. So don't miss it ;D

only 14 activities can add up to your number of activities for every 14 days prior to the day of each update. The next update will occur at September 12.

You are right dude activity is usually given every two weeks from the date you registered in this forum . Thats why the key for you to get high rank here is your patience.

Your activity will increase after 14 days / 2 weeks, this is a fair rule. to become a Hero takes 1 year more.
Be patient you will become a hero in time.
when he was drinking coffee.  ;)

I still can not understand. Does the activity increases every 14 days from the day I have signed up or every calendar two weeks? I`m just trying to understand the process.

I don't get it either. Iam registered for nearly 3 months now posting the whole timeframe. Still jr member and activity won't go up. Doesn't make any sense to me.

As I read somewhere if any of your posts gets deleted it will stuc for a 14 days, but I am not sure what was the reason.

42/14 = 3 . It means that you have posted at least once in three 2-week periods. To gain an activity point you have to post at least once when a new two week period begins. Otherwise you won't get any points. That is the reason why your activity points are so low and you don't rank up.

It goes from the day you have registered on Bitcointalk.

Did you see my post count throughout that 3 months?
Does that post has to be on a given date of the two week period e.g. 2 weeks from registration exactly?
Still don't get it but thank you for trying to clarify.
greetings zero

This is the basic explanation for jump ranks.
1 X 14 = 14
2 X 14 = 28
3 X 14 = 42     ( jr member) 30days-42days
4 X 14 = 56
5 X 14 = 70     (member) 60days -70days
6 X 14 = 84
7 X 14 = 98
8 X 14 = 112
9 X 14 = 126   (full member) 120days-126days
10 X 14 = 140
11 X 14 = 154
12 X 14 = 168
13 X 14 = 182
14 X 14 = 196
15 X 14 = 210
16 X 14 = 224
17 X 14 = 238
18 X 14 = 252 (Sr. Member) 252days

3 X 14 = 42     ( jr member) 30days-42days
4 X 14 = 56
5 X 14 = 70     (member) 60days -70days
6 X 14 = 84
7 X 14 = 98
8 X 14 = 112
9 X 14 = 126   (full member) 120days-126days
10 X 14 = 140
11 X 14 = 154
12 X 14 = 168
13 X 14 = 182
14 X 14 = 196
15 X 14 = 210
16 X 14 = 224
17 X 14 = 238
18 X 14 = 252 (Sr. Member) 252days

According to that list... I am registered for 3 month and iam pretty sure I posted throughout every 2 weeks period. Sadly BCT doesn't show extended statistics to prove it.

3 months = 6 weeks
6 * 14 = 84

So I def. should be member by now even if I missed one 14 day period.

It goes from the day you have registered on Bitcointalk.
So does that mean when I created bitcointalk account like 29 August. From now my activity time 14 days already started?
