Our project consists of 3 core elements:

•   Power Media – Providing social media and digital marketing services to build more awareness of cryptocurrencies.
•   Power Hub - Development of a user friendly app that will act as a social media hub and help filter the vast amount of information available to those entering the crypto market and to    those already operating within it.
•   Power Play – A multimedia entertainment streaming platform using Ethereum smart contract technology. Power Play will be designed to put new and emerging talent shoulder to shoulder with established artists and household names - ultimately attracting more users and awareness to crypto.

Our multimedia streaming service is called Power Play. Our aim is to bring exclusive niche talent to the crypto market space aswell as a selection of more mainstream content.

Quality control of content is a huge priority at Power. I have been in the music and entertainment business for over ten years . As founding member of grime/rap collective Virus Syndicate we learnt early on that to build a loyal and dedicated fan base you must always remain consistent with quality and delivery. We applied the same formula to make EY3 Media a success and now with the Power Group.

Interesting to see projects wanting to meet with their investors as a sign of ICO projects becoming more professional. The only other project i can recall doing this was PrimalBase and InvestFeed

I had a read of the whitepaper and i like the concept of 3 services in one project, especially the Hub and the Play services. do you guys have any more examples of your work within the music and entertainment industry and what sort of content you are going to have available?

Im glad you like the concept. We felt it made far sense to incororate our three areas of expertise into one project as each of the key areas has total synergy with the other.

In terms of content we are currently negotiating licesing agreements with Two of the major Music & Film distributors to make their niche content available on Power Play.
We also have two Power Play orignal TV series in production aswell as a number of music projects too.
Here is the link to the trailer to one of the first Power Play TV series this one is involving a UK Premiership Football Club scouting fresh talent on the streets in Africa.

I like the idea of this but I do always wonder with media based products.

Quick question: the Power Play streaming service isn't really mentioned within the problems that you pose to solve, what problem does it solve? Other than being another outlet of digital media? I may have missed something here just wanted to ask! Not asking in a condescending way just out of interest.

The other thing I always feel isn't really covered within media based blockchains is how they will actually acquire an audience which is viable enough to gain backing of well known stars within the industry. Having the content is one thing but getting an audience, as I'm sure You know, is an entirely different beast altogether.

The problem with the entertainment industry is the fact that to really succeed you need to have an extremely large audience and, let's face it, most people either think bitcoin is some seedy tool for hackers to shag squirrels or haven't heard of it at all. Add to that the fact that saying block chain to most people would make them think of some rectangular neck based jewellery.

I love the innovation and idea of these media startups but I think most streaming service ICO's know that all it takes is for a company like Netflix to make NFLX tokens which are distributed for watching Netflix originals etc  to put them out of business.

Again I do not mean to sound condescending if I do! And I am truly sorry if I have missed something, I have not illy gone through your white paper etc and just quickly read it so my bad if you have answered my questions!

Firstly thankyou for your comments they are all very valid points.

RE: What problem does Power Play solve? The idea behind Play is to provide a service to an growing crypto community where they can get daily use out of their currency. We feel more real world products and services available in crypto will only bring growth to the market place and decentralisation as a movement in general.

You are quite right in what you say, building an audience is an entirely different beast than obtaining the content, however I would probably argue that getting the "right content" to the Play platform may prove more of s challenge.
Our partners are EY3 Media a Manchester based music & media company. EY3 have been instrumental in the growth of an array  prolific  Facebook pages and YouTube channels aswell as managing a number of social channels some of the UKs most established businesses & brands. Having this level of expertise exclusively available to The Power Group will enable us to build key media and advertising partners to develop subscription in both short to mid terms.

You are totally right in what you say. Most people have no clue what blockchain tech or bitcoin actually is let alone the benefits this has to modern society. We consider this in some depth in our white paper if you have a chance to read through.
The ethos of The Power Group is to "Bridge the Gap" with the mainstream. By combing our thre key services: Digital Marketing, Information & Social media app , Music & Entertainment streaming we aim to bring new consumers to the market space which will in turn benefit the community as a whole.

In regards to Netflix being able to dominate the market by creating tokens. Again you are absolutely right. The Power Group is long way off being able to compete with a giant such as Netflix in respect of the mass market. But we can however compete when it comes to obtaining niche and specialist content that a media giant such as Netflix wouldn't necessarily have enough street team power to obtain or perhaps the space on its platform.

Our team are very experienced in specialist content, how to obtain or create it but must importantly how to market it. Please check the reference section of our white paper for evidence of this.
 
So yes we will be signing mainstream content to Power Play but our USP with Power Play is in our ability to get the niche, specialist and underground content before it goes mainstream.

With so many anonymous and scammy projects in the crypto space we hope we can deliver a more human approach, with real people with proven successes and deliver on our roadmap.

After reading I am a lot more confident in the platform, that is for sure. The focus on the niche market is probably the best course of action and trying to find the niches (maybe scifi, horror etc) which most of the computer savvy are akin to may be the best course of action.

I saw the post about Dope DOD, great look, theyre a solid rap group!

Focusing on the UK hip hop/grime niche is something I may be able to help with.
