Title: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: cebb on May 23, 2013, 04:17:01 AM https://www.cryptsy.com
Do not sell them cheap. only about 280,000 or so coins have been mined so far compared to millions of WDC/FTC/YAC etc.. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: BitJohn on May 23, 2013, 04:19:04 AM if you sell em cheap now then someone the buyer will do very well later in my opinion
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: mullick on May 23, 2013, 04:26:48 AM I love how they say 6 confirmations for deposits. Im at 18 still waiting :)
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: BitJohn on May 23, 2013, 04:32:21 AM haha its just vern tell him your issues he will fix them the confirmations being more than 6 probably have something to do with the new edition.

Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: BitJohn on May 23, 2013, 04:38:39 AM hell get it fixed you know they have a support email and forum
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: Lollaskates on May 23, 2013, 04:42:34 AM given the volume and demand recently, I'd say 0.0025 BTC is a fair start. That's what i'll be selling at. I'm pretty confident it will go higher though, much smoother launch than feather or CNC
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: thisnewcoin on May 23, 2013, 04:45:32 AM according to the trade on this forum, 0.0005 is the fair price
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: cebb on May 23, 2013, 04:49:41 AM I bet no one (except few may be) would have access to tons of DGC. As per my latest calculation only 285,000 (circa) coins are in existence.

Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: erk on May 23, 2013, 05:15:10 AM There doesn't seem to have been any DGC trades on Cryptsy.

Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: cebb on May 23, 2013, 05:17:39 AM All buyers, no sellers.. Some problems with getting deposits through I heard. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: erk on May 23, 2013, 05:23:07 AM All buyers, no sellers.. Hmm might be more to it than that, I moved some DGC over to Cryptsy, and they haven't appeared in the account, they are in the block chain explorer with over a hundred confirmations. I have sent other coins to Cryptsy before and they normally appear quite quickly, and it tells you in big white letters if they are pending confirmation. No such thing happening here. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: whitedragon on May 23, 2013, 05:27:12 AM I really wanted to get in on the launch but my mining rig blew its psu right when DGC launched. Ha Ha! Only if it sells. I remember the first day of the FTC chart on BTC-e, that sucked. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: erk on May 23, 2013, 05:33:18 AM Cryptsy seems to have filled the niche that Bter held for a while being an early adopter of alt-coins. It will be interesting to see who ends up with the bigger volume. I don't like the candlesticks on either site, harder to read than the ones on BTC-e. I prefer the line charts on http://bitcoinity.org.

I never use any I just use cryptocoincharts.com but im not much for quick sells these days. I have relaxed a little. I could make more money per day but im looking to get in on a coin for the long haul. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: erk on May 23, 2013, 12:18:42 PM DGC deposits just appeared on Cryptsy.
I put a sell in at 0.003 as suggested but people undercut it instantly. Miners are so stoopid when it comes to any form of commerce and bargaining. Why not just give the coins away for free, .0006 is near enough to free. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: erk on May 23, 2013, 12:28:26 PM Jesus, that's a helluva spread... The buy orders are huge, the sell orders are tiny, and the sellers are going cheap, what a bunch of desperate morons. There is like less than 1,000 for sale and hundreds of thousands in buy orders. No need to discount whatsoever, so I assume the sellers need to seek professional help, or they are stooges put there by the competition to keep the sell price low. No one of the scrypt based coins should have three zeros to the right of the decimal point, let alone four, the things take so much energy and hardware cost to mine. Selling coins shouldn't be left to miners, it should be put in the hands of adults. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: kr4x on May 23, 2013, 12:35:57 PM deposit worked fine for me

Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: kr4x on May 23, 2013, 12:42:40 PM I like DGC, and it's Dev, but I donot, now will I ever have faith in Cryptsy. Nothing against Big Vern, but Cryptsy is not a real exchange. why isn't it a real exchange? what is it then? A place for people to trade failed coins. DGC doesn't belong on the same exchange as PWC or RYC ::) I also don't understand how JunkCoin made it... Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: Hydroponica on May 23, 2013, 12:49:52 PM This is the transaction that is not crediting to my account: http://dgc.p2pool.nl/tx/49c6282f49adcccde459777d4b96279dc12f5c280118c19b2bc7626a6793b9ba#o1 And then, there's stuff like this... Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: aetos on May 23, 2013, 01:05:34 PM Guys, is there any comments from cryptsy's developer about DGC deposit problems? I don't think anyone has contacted him, I think we are just sitting here waiting. I sent email to support@cryptsy.com, about 3-4 hours ago, but no reply till now... he dont pay i think crupsy is his exchange also maybe dumping our coins :) Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: fendlestick on May 23, 2013, 01:10:10 PM All working fine for me, except the site is now slower than a dyslexic retard.
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: Gleason on May 23, 2013, 01:11:40 PM Cryptsy shouldnt be considered an exchange that appears on coinchoose IMO. One trade shouldnt create a coins value. You should need large volumes before you are considered a website worth anything.
There is not enough volume on cryptsy to give it any value, so they will just mine and dump for what they see on value as coinchoose as long it is more valueable than bitcoin, and it downhill from there. I guess its time for me to create an exchange and make some fake sell orders. -Brian Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: fendlestick on May 23, 2013, 01:14:37 PM Cryptsy shouldnt be considered an exchange that appears on coinchoose IMO. In addition, a ramping block reward at the beginning so that early adopters couldn't hoard tens of thousands of coins before people could catch on. (ie the first 1000 blocks mined only had a 1 coin reward, 2nd 2000 had a 2 block reward until it maxed out at 20) This will likely lead to much greater market stability as there will not be folks who can crash the market at absolutely no cost to themselves. * 20 second blocks greatly reduce orphan rates vs 15 sec blocks without significantly reducing the "instantaneous" nature of the coin. Fewer orphans mean a more stable block chain. Basically, DGC is a more refined version of WDC, and given the option between the two, I see no reason to use WDC. Also, as an added bonus, it has perhaps the most active developer of any altcoin I've seen thus far. Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: fenican on May 23, 2013, 01:40:54 PM Agree DGC is superior to WDC
Title: Re: DGC on Cryptsy Post by: imginy on May 23, 2013, 01:42:50 PM funny how dgc is supposed to be instant stable reliable and the only exchange is anything but.
Took me 7 hours for my coins to show up and it's totally unstable and not at all reliable.
