I'm Currently staking 2 coins and very shortly will star staking a 3rd.

1. Bitbean..  getting a nice wee small return every day.  wallet is stable and stakes are regular.

2. Embercoin.  Paying a massive 19.7% per day at the minute. I know this can't last, but New developers have started a process to keep things in check.

Will very shortly start staking DeepOnion.  I really like what these developers are doing. they are also in the middle of a very generous air-drop.

I'd be interested in what everyone else is staking and why ?

What does staking mean? Passive generation of coins? If so I know ARK has that under its delegate system. If not please ignore me. Im new to crypto.

Insanecoin with new ticker INSN is a good coin to stake right now.  It's fairly cheap at the moment so pick up as many as you can because the price is due to rise.  Staking is about 6% to 8% annually.  Higher than a lot of other POS coins.  INSN is a good choice for those that don't have a lot of funds to invest with. 

Pink coin just had an update to the wallet. Their staking system is really unique. You have the option of donating part of your stake rewards to charity. And the staking system seems fair. If you keep your wallet open 24hr you are guaranteed rewards. 100 pink coins per block is not too bad

EMB just got shilled a bit. They are changing their staking rewards to lower percentage on Sept 15, and adding masternodes later. This could make the price go up. Good to get in now at a few sats.

B3coin is at the block past 55000 where it now rewards 1000%, soon it will go to 10,000%, but after it reaches new blocks it will go back down to 5%

Rain. Seems to be a favorite. Is not such a bad price to get in now at around 1200 sats. The dev is active and I could see the price going up in the future. You need at least 10 000 coins to get any good rewards. The more the better

RISE and ark both have delegate proof of stake systems. Use 1 coin to vote for a delegate and you get a reward usually everyday. It's kind of expensive to get into ark now, but will probably be worth it in the future. RISE is still cheap and a good time to get in and stake.

ZENcash masternodes. Each masternode only needs 42 coins, which is way cheaper than a dash masternode. Get in now while it's still cheap. Host it on a vps and get rewards without your computer on 24/7. I am currently staking Bitconnectcoin and it is giving us 8% a month...not much but since the value of the coin is going up everyday I find it really good. Bitconnectcoin (BCC) started humbly but with its very limited supply of coins it rise up astronomically months after its introduction and is now part of the top 20.

There is nothing has been told about Equitrader. This is a small cap crypto with PoW + PoS(30% per year).
Some days ago it was bought by Aluna.Social. Maybe it's just PR, but it looks like this crypto will go to the moon in early/middle term. I suggest to study it and get in before it will skyrocket.

it is not yet PoS, so i am not sure how things will be. never cared enough to research it either but with your question i am thinking about it. the purpose of them to switch to PoS is exactly to earn more money on their premined ETH because the foundation is the biggest shareholders. so i guess we can also use this chance to make more profit. although you may need to invest in a volatile market which can go down and cause a bigger loss than what you earn as "profit".

but it is good to have this option in mind for when it actually does the switch and things become clear. crunch some numbers and see if it is worth the risk.

Neblio is one of the best staking crypto I know. Their ICO is just over a couple weeks but the reward is 10 % a year. They will be on exchanges end this year or next year, watch out for it and buy it when it is still cheap. ICO price was 20 cents. Only 12 Mill coins is the total supply.

I used to stake Bitbeans like you, but my mistake was to sell them off a few months ago when I had problems syncing from the wallet. I later realised that it was a problem with all my wallets especially qt. By that time I had no more mood to buy back the beans which had already risen up in price. My mini adventure did not last long. But it was fun for a while. I also had insane coins but after the swap I lost some and gave up also.

RAIN is my favorite as well. The price seems stabile and has a lot of oppertunity to go up. The Staking rewards are great and its a fun system as well. For those who dont know with RAIN, you get RAINed on, sometimes it rains harder on your account and your staking rewards will be bigger.

Stratis can be staked without having a Masternode or some other restrictions. Every Minute 1 Strat gets distributed among the staking Coins so the more you stake the higher the chance is to get it (kind of a lottery).

There are probably coins who give better staking profit but the platform itself is very promising. They are developing Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS), are supported by Microsoft in doing that and are already available on the Azure marketplace. stake pay is not enough to evaluate a project. The project must also be very good and the project sustainable over time.

And on these criteria I see only Zcoin. Masternode from late November or early December. This is THE altcoin to have for 2018!

I believe IOTA is worth staking at. The other altcoins I do believe in belong into the Big Five as I call them, and these are DASH and ETH. I am also going to buy NEO these days and wait till it start growing much.

Personally, i think Rise has a potential although lisk and rise have similarities but I still go for rise.. I like the platform and base on my research, all in all RISE is great!!!

Trezarcoin is good for staking as you get 100 TZC per POS block.

You will need a high balance to make it worthwhile though as the difficulty has gone high but its worth looking into.

Never heard about bitbean but i think CBX would be a great choice for staking if you had 2000 CBX in your vault with enabled masternode.

The coin who's signature i'm wearing right now stakes really good. From only 25 coins i am hitting a stake every 2 days or so. I think if i had a few hundred of these i would be raking in the stakes. It has a good price too and is able to be traded on yobit. Right now the price on coinmarket cap is 0.00029012 BTC which isn't too bad also. The stakes i am hitting are only 0.1 or so most of the time though. I am tempted to buy up on these and earn a decent profit staking.

I have some Deep Onion, too, that i started staking.  I think it is supposed to produce 10% the first year and 5% the next year, if I understand correctly.

Each body have distinctive supposition on this point and decision and experience of individual of a specific coin is change to the coin cost. Its normally built into the wallet software - leave the wallet open and connected - as long as it is synced and has sufficient mature* coins it will start to earn interest, which is paid as a transaction directly to the wallet.

*Maturity will be defined by the coin specs, but for example with Version it is 5 days.

The only other method I am aware of is Komodo, where the stake is earned by the address whether the wallet is open or not and you then have to "claim" it - which is simply a matter of clicking a button in the wallet.

So just having the wallet open and synced on a coin that offers proof of stake will do it?

I've been staking DeepOnion and Social Send and both seem to have decent returns.  Plus I believe both with increase in value significantly this year.

I can not give a judgment other than eth, many say ripple is good, yes it is good but he has to face various existing regulations, but eth is much more advanced and already widely used

In crypto world there are large numbers of coin, it is really a great confusion in which to invest. I currently hold Neo because it is one of the most stable coin with promising future and will definitely reach a great extent with exceptional reward.

I think a lot of good coins are there who have even good potential to increase its price but they still have very reasonalbe price and one can trade a good number of currency with little investemnt, for example Cardano which, Siacoin and so many other altcoin which have too much potential to increase its price but still their price are too much reasonable to afford for buying a goood number of coins.

What I can tell you for sure it's about there are two coins that are not very good for staking NEO on waves both of them provide only very low profit and the risk is very high. Lately many tokens have  been created in the waves platform but most of them are just not really useful to say the least.

It's always pending on the number of coins you hold inside your wallet. In order for you to receive almost daily profit, you must have at least 1,000 DMD. If you have fewer coins, then your reward will not be daily. At the moment, you can claim 25 - 30% of your annual income depending on the number of DMD you have.

The best staking.
1. Navcoin is an electronic currency developed on the Bitcoin platform.
2. NEO is a smart contract development platform commonly known as "Ethereum of China".
3. Ark is not just an electronic money; that's the whole ecosystem.

The best staking coin should be considered from the how many annual return that has been paid to the stakers and as far as i remember NEO becomes the best platform that has been paying the stakers the best annucal return. I think that NAVcoin pay less than NEO platform. I believe NAV coin should be on the below of NEO platform.

I feel like staking is a little risky. If countries start tightening the rules and follow the US they could be declared securities and then a lot of people would be screwed. I prefer to hold a masternode in something like AMB. Your coins are locked and the node actually does work for the platform meaning no regulatory issues to worry about. Another thing i like is that payouts are pegged to USD amount so they stay the same even if the market collapses.

Vulcanocoin is a high stake coin with 950% annual ROI. The reward system will change soon and masternodes are coming.
So maybe now is a good time to buy (5-10 sats) a few mill for masternodes later this year.

Condensate $RAIN is a good one. Stable network, nice wallet, big and supportive community. Great ROI also, of course. I have a bag.
