He got the PR going for him.
And a history of scams, frauds and even snitching on his own friends.

I looked at the concept of his new project. Basically pirates can upload a new movie, like Pirates of the Carrebean Salazar HDRIP, and then set a price for it. So they will get rewarded for every download with lets say $0.01. Now DISNEY who owns the rights can step in and say "but HEY!! thats OUR movie!! We want the $0.01 per download. And then the pirate will get nothing, and Disney will get the money".

Now I am not sure why DOWNLOADERS would pay for a movie in the first place. If a movie gets on the net as torrent, on filehosters, or even distributed by a scene release, it will be everywhere for free. Why should pirates pay for it....?

Why should Disney be fine with getting $0.01 or $0.10 or $1 for it? They have plans currently to bring new movies 2-3 weeks after cinema start thru apple but it will be like $50 (!)

I think this concept is pretty bad as it is now. Proceed with caution.

I would look at ICOalert, they list all upcoming ICO's.

Currently I am eyeing up a ICO called Crowdholding. They have a solid co-creation concept, strong team, great white paper and realistic targets.

Hope this helps and happy investing!

Hearing for the first time here about the Kim's project about the new megaupload, I read many articles and tweets by him in the past but not recently for a while.

Checked the airdropalert website and couldn't find any info about his ICO nor there is a date when it's going to be launched his project.

I would check his whitepaper or anything related to his project but not investing a huge money as you are talking because that's too risky.

What the hell is that? Is that true? can you give me a reliable link for that? It seems like to be a big project. I mean if we are seeing the historical of the kimdotcom and a lot of the things already explained about that.
Kim wants to be a rich person again.

There is a news about Bitcoin and Ethereum will get pumped this coming months. You just have to wait and see if that is true and invest you money. This is now the good time for us to invest. I do hope this will come true because there was a news in China of banning ICO and it greatly affects the price of bitcoin.

There must always be a project that runs smoothly and the quality of management is unquestionable. Hopefully next month more and more ico emerging by offering greater tokens to dramatically increase profits and be able to create a sense of comfort for participants in the future.

Thanks for the advice!

I agree, the concept is a bit weird. I already tried the demo and It was really cool and easy to use. Personally, I wouldnt mind paying small amounts like 0.0001$/download if the hosting service is good and ads free. I even got a free preloaded bitcache wallet. Anyway, most people don't even know what bitcoin is, and would refuse to pay even 0.00000000000000000001$.

I'm sure Kim knows this and will work to make a solution. Anyway it's still soon. I will invest only in case I have information about how the final product will be. ;)

Hearing for the first time here about the Kim's project about the new megaupload, I read many articles and tweets by him in the past but not recently for a while.

He tweeted a few days ago about the dates, we must wait some days before we get more information.

In my opinion, Social and Soferox among the running ICOs have future.
Kyber network would be a nice hit when they launch their ICO.

I am watching Social's movement as well right now. Atlant ICO, a real estate innovation, which is a really big project with Vitalik backing it up. If I am not mistaken, this will start this coming September 7 but it would last until October 31 so basically it is still considered an October ICO.

ICO for the LakeBanker project is running Phase 2 in October (Phase 1 is active now with a small cap and a big discount).

The LakeBanker "Crowd-Banking" system is a spinoff from long-standing crypto exchange LakeBTC.com (http://LakeBTC.com). We're a major exchange (we traded $50 million yesterday). The LakeBanker system has been operating in Beta within LakeBTC for 1.5 years with strong proof of concept. This is already a real business. Now its ready for the world.

More details in our ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2028648.0) and formal whitepaper (https://lakebanker.com/whitepaper.pdf)

BitJob may be a nice one to participate in, I am not so sure of the rest because their names don't seem so appealing to the average person..that's just my opinion.

i also wonder how will ICO going, since China ban ICO, many people in China will not participate in, so will the market cap still be high, even a small project will charge millions?

Cartaxi is not goot as your investment, I don't see the real implementation for that. but the aventus project seems to be the another project in this month, and i was exciting about the sevtice crowdsale in the november and that wiill be so big in my opinion.

Much like Aventus and Eventchain? I have just heard about this project right now. GUTS might be on the path that has been used by Aventus and now Eventchain. Do you know of the similarities and differences between the projects that I am mentioning? These are all about ticketing systems also.

I think the best ICO of this month would be CENTRA it has the same thing to offer as Monaco does + they also want to do some kind of ebay where you can buy everything for cryptos. It also has already raised a huge ammount of money in their pre-sale. I see a bright future for this coin.

For November check out Propthereum.io. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. Proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide generating a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. They launch 20 November and I am thinking about investing so check them out and let me know what you think.

I may be biased, but... Betbox is the world's first AI-driven Sports Betting Hedge Fund, bringing the power of Machine Learning and Deep Neural Networks to turn sports betting into an alternative asset class, going beyond market sentiment and periods of systemic crises.
Only pre-ICO and ICO Investors will receive 20% of the net transaction revenueearned by BetBox (the Fund will pay to BetBox a performance fee equal to 30% of any returns) on a weekly basis.
pre-ICO will start on November 9, 2017.
