Title: [UniMining.net] UniMining yiimp Mining Pool
Post by: phm87 on September 06, 2017, 09:23:21 PM
Dear miners and crypto-currency believers,

UPDATE Nov 9th 2017:
UPDATE 11:00 AM UTC: After a 3 hours electricity cut, UniMining.net is back online.
We checked coins and payments.

For any problem, let us know.

Due to an electricity cut, Unimining.net is currently unavailable. Mining will be enabled, payments will be performed and website running after the electricity cut. If you want to mine other coins at 0%, you can mine temporary at:
******************** (test pool on another server)
We'll keep you informed when the main pool will be back online.

We're proud to announce the official launch of our new European (Yiimp-based) mining pool:

Unimining.net (https://www.unimining.net)

We are a team of passionate in crypto-currency and interested in the smallest and newest currencies (we will focus to avoid "shitty"). We trust in crypto and we want to contribute to the system. We share our time to release the best plate-form we can offer to all users and mostly to ourselves.
We want to offer a stable and efficient plate-form. We are very concerned to choose the better hardware and bandwidth. We will focus on always getting the best performance.

Our philosophy:
- Performance and Security.
- Unity and Community.
- Simplicity and no hassle.
- Minimum fees.
- The whole system is a chance.

Our mining fee will be of 0% until December 1st. After the launch period, it will be fixed between 0.5% and 1% according to the 2-months statistics.

How to contact us ?
https://forum.unimining.net/
https://discord.gg/ZWup8Jx
https://twitter.com/unimining

Key features:
- Several European dedicated servers with DDoS Protection and Secure Web server (HTTPS)
- Small mining fee : 0.9%
- Anonymous and no registration !
- Hourly payment
- yiimp multi-algo with several coins
- Everything is tested on a second non-productive server before launching to minimize your risks on the actual mining pool. (new stratum, webpages changes, payments and other code updates)
- We try to focus on new and powerful coins
- We need your feedbacks to improve your experience

Miners:

For nVidia cards, we suggest you to use the last version of ccminer : https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
For GTX 1080/1080 Ti, ccminer will work but hashrate may be increased with https://github.com/alexis78/ccminer

For AMD cards, tests are ongoing, we had good results using these miners:
https://github.com/tpruvot/sgminer/releases
https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate/releases
https://github.com/ghostlander/nsgminer/releases

If needed, you'll find more details on our forum about "How to mine a crypto-currency (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7)" (in english) and the same explanation in french "Comment miner une crypto-monnaie (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6)".

On our forum, you'll find an explanation about how to mine with NiceHash on unimining.net (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34). As explained by bskc, the difficulty should be set on Nicehash as password argument like c=VIVO,d=65536

Our Team:
Our team is composed by 3 persons: a Developer, a cow-boy Tester and a Designer. bSkc, the Developer has experience with PHP/MySQL and Networking.
The Designer, Sparky, has a lot of experience in mining different current currencies and building mining hardware.
phm87, the cow-boy Tester follows strict testing rules but he is used to find root-cause and change the code if needed.

Q/A:
- Can I request to add a coin ? (Please, yes!)
Reply this thread, contact us on Twitter (@unimining), or send us an email to unimining@yahoo.com but please check that the algo is in the yiimp-compatible list (*). Please keep in mind that a minimal hashing power is needed in order to find blocks regularly so it won't be honest to add highly competitive coins as our newly created mining pool won't be able to find blocks (or one block after several weeks).
- Why would you charge a 0.5-1% mining fee and not more ?
Our aim is not to gain money, we have our stupid jobs for that.
- Do you plan to upgrade your infrastructure if the server reach its limits ?
Yes, its the aim of the future 0.5-1% mining fee. We just want to assume our charges.
- Where is my payment ?
The payments are performed each hour for all (unpaid) balances above 0.001. If you participated in the mining of a block of a crypto-currency, if the block is not orphan or uncle, when the block is confirmed (a few minutes, hours or days for some cryptos), your balance will be increased of X (=block reward minus pool fee ) percent of accepted shares for the block.
- Where can I ask a question ?

The pool's profit is always set to 0

 * 24h estimation from network difficulty in mBTC/Mh/day (mBTC/Gh/day for sha256 and blake algos)

is the pool working as it should? does this pool auto-switch to the most profitable coin in a certain algo or only mine the coin set in the password field?

Hi ma7555,

Thanks for your feed-back. The estimated global profit of the pool is 0 as there is some coins that have no hashrate and thus no profit. Moreover, profits are calculated based on actual historical data of the pool. But if you check individually each currency (eg : the one you are mining), the profit is calculated and the value is updated,we will pay attention for the next release.

Did you try to mines with us? The pool is working well. Some miners have already joined us and we are glad to see that we can find blocks faster and faster. Did you perhaps have any issue?

Hello,

I mine xvg on your pool, but nothing appear on wallet, how many time do I need to wait to see the Balance ?... what do you mean by paid  balances above 0.001 ? 0.001 btc  ?

Some say your pool is a Scam

Hello,

We tested yiimp in Test environment during one month to understand how it works. Here are more explanations

@ eldib : I don't think it is scam but as it is pretty new, you are invited to report any troubles.
You are mining Verge and TTF it 5 hours so from a statistical point a view, a block will be find in 5 hours. As you are the only one mining it, you should have 100% of the block reward. Can you wait that a block is mined, wait that his status become Confirmed then Cleared. If you don't receive 100% of block reward minus the transaction fee, please tell me.

If after 6 to 24 hours, the status of the block mined did not evolve OR your miner said you find a block and the block is not reported on the pool, or anything else (block confirmed but no payment), please come back to me as indeed, something is not correctly configured on the pool.

Please refer to the Q/A in the first post to have more informations.

About the minimum payment, the threshold is NOT in BTC, it is in the currency you are mining. The explanations are not clear on the index page, I'll update them tonight.

Our pool is pretty new, I'm deeply involved into it and I'd like to enhance it according to your feed-backs.
Thank you for your help to improve it.

ccminer-x64 -a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:5766 -u   myXVG wallet Adreess

In theory, yiimp should detect the coin mined based on wallet address and algo (port). But yiimp suggests to add "-p c=XVG" if the wallet page does not display the correct coin. I prefer to avoid to take any risk: I always specify the coin mined (especially if I am the only miner on 1 algo and I see hashrate on several coins, it is not normal). I didn't dig into yiimp's code yet about this.

I suggest you to use a batch file with coin specified like:
Code:
ccminer-x64 -a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:5766 -u myXVG_wallet_Adreess -p c=XVG

EDIT: I saw your hashrate only one one coin, if you see the correct coin in wallet page, then it should be OK. Next block should be found in approx. 66 minutes. As mining fee is 0 and tx fee is standard (calculated by wallet), nearly 100% of block reward should be for you. I'll check on my side the cost of tx fee (that should be low).

Maybe Look at your pool !!!!!!!  some other yiimp based pools  got hacked !!!!   I aslo see for a few min the coins i mine in my balance  and then they gone , but not an payout the still left without no withdraw adress , looks like your pool is infected too from the hackers maybe !  Please look at it   thx

Thank you for the information.

I didn't post about it but I learned it yesterday around 4 AM GMT on yiimp IRC and I'm checking regularly this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163058.0

Unfortunately, the root cause of the hack was not found yet (upload a file ? code injection ?) but people are investigating. Some informations are available but I don't have enough to explain what is happening in details.

About our new small pool UniMining.net, I think that the risk is low because big pools were hacked, our pool perferm hourly payments with small amounts so there is few coins in pool's wallets. I'm taking this problem seriously whatever the size of the pool.

Remark: Due to hourly payments and payment threshold of 0.001, each payment is subject to the transactionnal fee. I'm thinking about raising the minimal payment threshold (0.001 currently in the currency you are mining) in order to avoid to pay many tx fees (this fee payment is deduced from all payments, either for a miner, an "admin" miner or for any wallet). Increase this minimum will make big miners happy (because they will receive biggest payments and pay less tx fees) but small miners won't be paid before days. Do you think that it is a good idea to change the minimum payment to 0.005 or higher ? I'll have a look in yiimp's code to see if it is possible to customize this value per user (like for nomp/unomp mining pools). I won't change anything on UniMining.net without approval and warnings : I'll do my changes on a test mining pool. Test mining pool is not secret (I can give the link) but the server is too small for bug miners and changes are performed without notice as it is a test mining pool.

WARNING:

Our webpages front-end were disabled due to a yiimp or PHP issue that leaded to several coin steals on other pools.

Stratums and payments are still running, we think that our actions prevents to be hack but please post ASAP to this thrad if you encounter ANY problem.

All stratums will be stopped if our mining pool is hacked. We prefer to prevent miners loses as possible. Admin Team is also mining on the pools.

I propose you to stop mining on our pool and come back later when all yiimp problems will be fixed. My friend is also mining on DNR on our pool and he got paid. As mining a block of Verge is more difficult than DNR, if you were not paid after 6 hours, I prefer to ask you to stop mining at our pool. Sorry for your possible losses, I'll check what I can do after this current hacking.

I prefer to minize your losts and avoid to say "it should be ok" when I don't think that it is the case. I think that a scam would ask to continue to mine whatever the problems are.

I think that these problems were due to the Yiimp hack that aimed all Yiimp pools worldwide.

UniMining.net (http://UniMining.net) is back again…

What's happend?

As you know, the Yiimp world faced a world-wide hacking. To prevent any spyware and further attack, we have decided to set up a fully new, clean and secured infrastructure: New Server, New Network and New Pool. We also managed to update our front-end and back-end interfaces to fix the concerned issues. We really do not want your balances to be stolen !

(By the way, all stolen balances were refund to miners by the pool. Hopefully our 1 hour payout allowed us to considerably reduce losses)

More informations : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2163058.new

So we are happy to announce that we are back again since a few days…

What about Miners?

- If you have mined cryptocurrencies before our reinstallation, all balances were paid off. Do not worry, we pay attention to all payments !
- All miners were automatically redirected to the new pool without any downtime and in a transparent manner.

What about now?

We have only reactivated cryptocurrencies that were already mined on our pool before the attack. Now we have 3 currencies that can be mined :

- Denarius (DNR)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:8533 -u you_wallet -p c=DNR --cpu-priority=3

- Signatum (SIGT)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a skunk -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:8433 -u your_wallet -p c=SIGT --cpu-priority=3

- NevaCoin (NEVA)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a blake2s -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:5766 -u your_wallet -p c=NEVA --cpu-priority=3

We truly recommend mining with CCminer 2.2.1 : https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

If you are interrested in one or more new currencies to be available on unimining. Just let us know!

Please follow us on twitter (twitter.com/unimining (http://twitter.com/unimining))

Hi Sayman_nsk,

Can you tell me which coin are you mining? All visible coins is working.

Can you give me more details? Wallet? Coin? We will investigate ;)

Hi,
After investigating, I see your profits and all payments are done.
Note that for vivo coin, a number of 100 confirmations is required before payments can be done. So that can take some hours.

problem is not in confirmations. problem in pool statistic. I see unconfirmed and confirmed coins. and after some hours I see total 0 coins - unconfirmed and confirmed. so, hour for payments and I have 0 vivo. then again some coins back (but not all). for test - mining on altminer pool for last night and no zero stats.

Yes you are right, we also have been noticed this same issue on another wallet. The displayed value of the balance can have issue, in some case, during the computation of the rewards and payments.
It is only a display issue (cache,etc.. See screenshot sent in pm). All your coin appear as soon as the calculation is finished (that can take sometime long). We will continue to investiguate to solve this display issue. Thanks for your feedback.

What port can I use for neoscrypt  with NiceHash ?

We do not provide any dedicated port for NiceHash, for the time being. The difficulty is initially set for "soft" gpu mining.

So you have to force the initial difficulty manually to higher values. Some NiceHasher miners (NiceHash/1.0.0) comes on our pool with such parameters "c=VIVO,d=65536".

Can you try with this configuration?

Hi,

On our forum, you'll find an explanation about how to mine with NiceHash on unimining.net (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34). As explained by bskc, the difficulty should be set on Nicehash as password argument like c=VIVO,d=65536

Innova (INN) is now available on unimining.net (https://pool.unimining.net) mining pool @ 0% fees until December 1st.

How to mine Innova ?

For nVidia cards, we suggest you to use  CCminer 2.2.2 : https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
Quote
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4233 -u Your_Innova_Wallet_Address -p c=INN --cpu-priority=3
For GTX 1080/1080 Ti, ccminer will work but hashrate may be increased with https://github.com/alexis78/ccminer

For AMD cards, we suggest https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate/releases/ (https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate/releases/)
I also updated my AMD graphic cards drivers to "Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.1 10/10/2017" but I didn't install the ReLive part.
The configuration of gateless need you to adapt the *.bat and *.conf file, see explanations (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20) on our forum.

Let's mine together!

Have a nice day.

PS: The first post of this thread was updated to be aligned with the coins available on the pool.

Hi,

To identify the problem, you can try with the other example .bat files from the ZIP of Gateless. If you encounter the same error, maybe you should update your AMD drivers to a recent version (for my RX470, I installed "Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.1 10/10/2017" without the ReLive part), maybe your windows should be updated (mine is win 10 64 bits with anniverqsary update), maybe your anti-virus blocks the miner or maybe a reboot may fix it (30% of my windows problems are solved by a reboot).

If you don't encounter the same problem with the example .bat files, please come back to me, maybe I made a mistake or I forgot something.

What was the error displayed ?

Thank you,

Have a nice mining!

Bitcore can be added on the pool if requested, we'll wait few days because we need to do a migration to new servers.

As auto exchange and payout in BTC is not activated, there is no exchange fees to pay.

Hi,

Thank you for reporting the issue, I noticed some misconfiguration of some NIceHash miners, all our tests were successfull with GPU's (hashrate on miner side and hashrate reported on pool match).

The pool will be migrated in the next days, the new servers will have better performances. We'll add statums nicehash ports after the migration.

On which algo did you see this problem ? Did you use nicehash ?

Hello,

Hi,

Exchange rates are retrieved from some exchanges (implemented into yiimp), I've set a fixed exchange rate for some currencies when the exchange rate is known but not automtically retrieved in yiimp. Some coins have no exchange rate at all.

PS: Unimining is currently down due to an electric cut, I'll check this point afterwards.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

I have the same problem. I hired nicehash, but there is nothing in the my statistics. At first they were not even in the explorers.. and this page did not open at all. When the page began to open, they appeared there, as well as on the page of the pool; but with an empty "finder" column. These are the blocks 19550,19551.19552,19554,19555,19567,19568,19569.  I wrote a message to them on the e-mail, but there is still no answer.

hey man. i just mined innovo but i see nothing on pool? problems with interface? i saw my hashes there but no blocks

so i wont get any reward for those blocks? and no answear.

really 12 hours pass and still no answear? are you kidding me?
I have the same problem. I hired nicehash, but there is nothing in the my statistics. At first they were not even in the explorers.. and this page did not open at all. When the page began to open, they appeared there, as well as on the page of the pool; but with an empty "finder" column. These are the blocks 19550,19551.19552,19554,19555,19567,19568,19569.  I wrote a message to them on the e-mail, but there is still no answer.

Hi miners,

Sorry for the delay. You have right, we get some display issue for innova coin.

Some block did not appear immediatly on the wallet. This is often the case when we get some peak in hashrate. But theses blocks are not lost!

We know the issue and fixed it. Once a day, we updates the front-end with such missed blocks. So blocks appears again in the wallet and delta on payments are processed on the next run.

All this updated blocks appear on the website without finder.

Hi dzvnming, Aleksiusha,

Your both issue seems concerning a range of block that you were mined during we were doing planned maintenance processes (hardware upgrade).

The issue concerned a total of 8 INN blocks (19550,19551,19552,19554,19555,19567,19568,19569). Rewards were received on the pool wallet.

I propose to find an agreement in PM and we will process a manual payment of this amount.

We apologies for this inconvenient.

Hi,

I told you that I performed maintenance operations that fixed the problem. For coins with quick block time (nearly all new neoscrypt coins), some blocks are missed by the back end and we should do these maintenance. If we perform these maintenance operation too late, the payment are wrong. Solutions and compensations are discussed in private (I don't have all the details of the private msgs).

We also noticed that it happens only with nicehash. Never had this problem before nicehash use.

I don't have access to a computer right now (I'm using my phone).

Edit: I've performed maintenance operations about one hour after my message. We performed it frequently to pay miners correctly. Other problems are discussed in PM and discord.

Hi,

Other miners have noticed this issue, we are investigating to understand the root-cause. We've restarted the neoscrypt stratum but I don't think that it will solve the issue.

In most of the cases, only a faction of percent of wrong coin in mined.

We'll keep you informed with this issue under analysis.

ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4233 -u <my wallet address> a -p c=GBX

btw - I'm getting more GPUs in a couple of days and I'll be setting them up to this pool.  I didn't add the initial difficulty just because I didn't see the need even with 6 new GTX 1070 cards coming in.

Hi,

The issue happenned on few Yiimp pools but we don't know what they did to solve it. We are still investigating and making changes in coin configuration according to advices of pool owners with more experience. We changed some parameters yesterday but we think that the issue is still present.

Sorry for the inconvenience and delay to fix the problem.

Hi,

This issue happens when the load if high and that the wallet/daemon crash. It happened on other pools. Some pools may hide the problem.

We discussed it briefly with Epsylon3 the maintainer of Yiimp. I think that several adapations are possible on the coin daemon to solve the issue. We tested several fixes in the past but they didn't work, we'll try to fix this issue tonight.

We hope that it will be fixed quickly, we are doing our best.

Quote
[23:58] <@Epsylon3> and for the 5000th time in this chan: the few percents are the shares on connect before work was requested/processed to the wallet
[23:59] <@Epsylon3> or .. when a wallet didnt answer
[23:59] <@Epsylon3> as fallback instead of mining... nothing
[23:59] <phm87> ok thank you, I think we have a problem with our wallets : I'll try to learn more before complaining
[00:00] <@Epsylon3> if the wallet is temporary "disabled"
[00:00] <@Epsylon3> the miners can mine another coin and make shares for them
[00:00] <@Epsylon3> which make tiny percents
[00:00] <@Epsylon3> dust in general on connect, more if a wallet is crashing

Hi,

Epsylon3 (developer, maintainer of yiimp) gave me a possible fix for this problem (not yet on github). I adapted stratum's code and restarted all stratums on the 11 December 2017 at 11:45 PM UTC.

I'll check if this behavior happens again with this fix.

PS:
This behavior happened on yiimp.eu:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508786.msg26130705#msg26130705
We think that it is due to a coin daemon that is starting, crashing, a coin network overload or coin nodes network overload/attack. It can happen if coin daemon is overload (e.g. if payments are ongoing). Epsylon3 gave an explanation here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508786.msg26141805#msg26141805

Hi,

We removed it because we were on an old blockchain, the wallet was updated but if we update pool wallet, we'll be in the same situation as yiimp.eu:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110690.msg26215126#msg26215126

So to avoid to have coins lost, we prefered to delist Vivo and wait that the chain is stable.

Unimining, official Vivo block explorer and cryptopia are aligned but I prefer to minimize risk of lost by miners. If you disagree, I can turn it ON again but I'll put a big warning. I prefer to delist it to avoid complaints of coins lost.

Nope, thats a perfectly valid reason. Right after I posted, I found out about the split. It was my mistake and thanks and keep up the good work.

Hey there, quick question.

I tried mining VIVO on your pool for a very short time yesterday and it looked great but sadly that's when the vivo split happened.
Anyway I mined 0.038 vivo in that short amount of time and according to your site it has been paid (@ 2017-12-12 23:09:04) but the thing is I never received anything (and yes my id/wallet is correct).
I don't actually care since it's such a small amount but I'd like to know what happened or why it happened before I try your pool again.

Thanks in advance for your answer !

Hi,

We desactivated Vivo temporary as a chain fork is ongoing. We let it run (hidden) for the last payments but an error happened. My friend bsKc tried to fix it. I noticed that several payments were made after his fix, I don't know if yours was included in these payments. If you didn't receive the 0.038 Vivo coins, can you give me (in private message on bitcointalk) your wallet address ? I'd like to check if your balance was paid (in our database and in Vivo blockchain). We can do a manual payment if it failed.

For more details about the Vivo chain fork:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2156784.msg26220068#msg26220068

Have a nice mining!

Hi,

If you encounter errors mining Desire coin (DSR) on stratum port 4233, please mine it on port 4234. Stratum port 4234 is dedicated ONLY for Desire coin.

For more details: https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=160

Example (ccminer):
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4234 -u Your_DESIRE_Wallet_Address -p c=DSR --cpu-priority=3

Hi,

We have checked differents ALQO wallets. When you have some crash in hashrate, other miners remain constant ( https://ibb.co/e2dpN6 )

So the issue seems on you side. Please can you try be restarting your miner more often?

Hi huyct08,

Please can you tell us where are you located? Do your friends are located at the same place? And do you use the same ISP?

We trully think that the issue comes from your internet service provider as other miner do not face the same issue.

We unfortunatelly have no solution for you at the moment.

Yea, i found the problem. Alqo doesn't auto diff, So mining with 10 GHz what is setting for diff? d=9

Hi huyct08,

Try mining ALQO by setting the defaut diff in the optinal password parameters. Password field is used to set kinds of options (default coin, default difficulty). More information on our forum  https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?t=47

Recommended Default ALQO configuration (-p c=ALQO)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a quark -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4033 -u APBMmiBUohk1qYR7Mqxu4EaXge5q8bVQjt -p c=ALQO

Recommended ALQO configuration with diff set to 9 (-p c=ALQO,d=9)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a quark -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4033 -u APBMmiBUohk1qYR7Mqxu4EaXge5q8bVQjt -p c=ALQO,d=9

Recommended ALQO configuration with diff set to 9 and record statistics (-p c=ALQO,d=9,stats)

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a quark -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4033 -u APBMmiBUohk1qYR7Mqxu4EaXge5q8bVQjt -p c=ALQO,d=9,stats

How to mine with AMD?

Hi,

We propose you using Gateless that is available on this link : https://github.com/zawawawa/gatelessgate/releases/

1. Create a new launch file ("mine CRC on unimining.bat" using notepad or notepad++ under windows) and paste the following command into it:
Quote
@echo off
set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
gatelessgate.exe --gpu-platform 1 --default-config gatelessgate-CRC.conf
pause

2. Create a new conf file ("gatelessgate-CRC.conf" using notepad or notepad++ under windows) and paste the following command into it:
Quote
{
  "algorithm": "neoscrypt",
  "intensity": "13",
  "worksize": "256",
  "gpu-threads": "1",
  "load-balance": true,

  "auto-fan": true,
  "temp-cutoff": "90",
  "temp-overheat": "85",
  "temp-target": "75",

  "pools": [
    {
      "name": "MAIN",
      "user": "CMBbGUAAQz6nV75EAbcf8qwgCJmvp6Gnto",
      "pass": "c=CRC",
      "quota": "99;stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4238"
    },
    {
"__comment": "Please keep this entry. Otherwise, I won't be able to continue open-source development. - zawawa",
      "name":"DEVFEE",
      "user": "zawawa.gatelessgate",
      "pass": "x",
      "quota": "1;s1.theblocksfactory.com:3333"

Hi Dotvibe,

We know about this issue. For that, we have provided a dedicated port (4234) for Desire Only.

More informations can be found on our forum : Stratum port dedicated to DESIRE coin (DSR) (https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=160)

May I suggest you using this parameters to mine DSR only :

Code:

Hi Aleksius,

We also saw this issue on your wallet. This issue seems to no occurs to other miners.
We have analyze the situation but can not identify the root cause.

We have already fix your balance for the first time so that you received a first payment. We will process again today so you will also get paid within few hours.

We really appologize for this inconvenient but we work on it.

May I please suggest you using the dedicated stratum to mine CRC (Port 4238) ?

Code:
ccminer -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4238 -u Your_Wallet -p c=CRC

Be sure, we will continue keeping an eye on your wallet in the next few days.

Any reason for the recent website slowdown?

Also, I'm mining GoByte and getting low earnings.
The difficulty went up lately, but even with the new difficulty I should be earning about 1.3 coins/day with 7500KH/s hash rate.
In this calculation I have included 5% fee so it should be more than enough.

However in the last 24 hours, my earnings have been 1.01 GoByte with an average hashrate of between 8000KH/s and 8500KH/s.

Sorry for inconvenient due to slow front-end. The issue should be solved now. We have reconfigured rules on cloudflare.

For your second problem, difficulty of GBX went up the last few days. Moreover you should take into account the pool luck. So you should make your calculation on a longer period.

But I propose you to send us your wallet id so we can analyse the situation.

Hi,

We've noted that no blocks were found so we pointed our miners to our pool to help. I've checked your address, you'll receive a part of the reward of a block found 3 hours ago. Another block was found 37 min ago but I don't see it in your earnings and I see in your miner's page that you stopped mining at our pool so you were not credited for the second block.

Your earnings should be paid at the next payment loop as the block is in confirmed status.

Have a nice mining!

Hi,

We improved the website accessibility few hours ago, you'll see an enhancement.

About earnings, I had a look at your address, payments are fine. I agree that earnings depends on the network difficulty but it also depends on pool luck. We improved pool wallet connectivity and other aspects but pool luck also depends on probability. In theory, on long term, all pools with the same configuration and fee should give the same earnings.

PS: Unimining fee is 0.5% and not 5% as you mentioned previously.

Have a nice mining

    Dear miners,

Our neoscrypt stratum is under heavy load because there are many miners mining neoscrypt coins. If you encounter problems mining GoByte (GBX) on port 4233, please try to mine it on port 4236. The same GBX pool wallet is connected to both stratum (ports 4233 and 4236). Please don't mine other coins that GBX on port 4236 as it is dedicated to GBX.

On port 4233, you can mine all neoscrypt coins but port 4236 is dedicated ONLY for Innova.

    For nVidia cards (ccminer):

        ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u Your_GBX_Wallet_Address -p c=GBX --cpu-priority=3

For AMD cards, please refer to the thread "[nVidia] How to mine GoByte (GBX) ?" using port 4236 instead of 4233.

Under some conditions, the coin daemon of the pool becomes unreachable. Some miners noticed that under these conditions, some shares are going to another neoscrypt coin. It leads to small earnings in other coins but Yiimp performs a calculation to pay the miner as if he mined the correct coin.

In order to improve mining of GoByte coin (GBX), a hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte is present on the stratum dedicated to GBX (port 4236). If you are mining GBX on port 4233 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to another coin. But if you are mining GBX on port 4236 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to the hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte so you'll continue to mine GoByte and you'll be paid in GoByte. We prefer to keep the fall-back wallet hidden in order to redure confusion but we'd like to display it on our pool website when it will be possible and easy to understand what is going on.

Code: Select all

Sure thing, here you go:

Yeah the earning has gone up now, it was around 1 before, now I'm getting about 1.35 GBX now which is still a bit less than what I should be earning (~1.5) but I'm fine with that. You have a great pool, keep up the good work.
I set the fee at 5% because I have 3 miners, so 3x0.5% and 3x1% (I thought dev fee is 1% on EWBF miner) which adds to 4.5%. However I checked today and dev fee on EBWF is 2%, so it's actually 7.5% total.

EWBF is for equihash, not for nescrypt isn't it ? GBX is neoscrypt coin, so i don't understand.

I feel like a form of contradiction between these two messages:

On the unimining forum there is a section in French if you prefer French to English.

On one side, you invite me to go on the French forum, and on the other you inform me that your forum is slowed down by moderation because of attacks !

What do you mean exactly ?????????????????????????????????????

I will continue here, it seems to me faster.

All neoscrypt coins are mined in the same way.

Yes, I agree, I'm well aware and that's why I do not understand why GBX is denied me while TZC goes very well with the same software mining (Klaust ccminer 8.17)

Quote
If there is an error in a tutorial for the TrezarCoin we will correct it.

No, I did not mention an error in the tutorial TZC but in the GBX tutorial .
You write innova for port 4236 while this port is for GBX. Review your post well that I shared here.

I copy again from your forum :

Please don't mine other coins that GBX on port 4236 as it is dedicated to GBX. ....
....
On port 4233, you can mine all neoscrypt coins but port 4236 is dedicated ONLY for Innova.

I did not know what to understand by reading this, even if it was logical that it was inevitably a fright on your part in the text, I see that I can not undermine this port, and I've tried them all ports nothing to do.

I was rather pleased to mine on your pool so far, and I even posted your pool in my posts adding coin mining commands to the WTM and nvOC threads but I start to doubt.

I'm lately losing connection while mining GBX on port 4236. It does reconnect quickly but it's annoying to see these dips 6-8 times per day on all 3 of my miners. I haven't noticed my internet going down, so this must be some pool bug?

I'm seeing the some connection issues as well in the last 12 hrs, also on GBX. Not sure if it's related but I noticed some upward spikes on the Neoscrypt pool algo graph, and it seems my dips might be in the same timeframe as the pool spikes.

I'm thinking something needs to be addressed on the pool side?

Same here, mining GBX. Was doing fine last couple of days but now I see many dips per day. Hate to loose coins like this and would not like to go to other pool but will have to if this will not be fixed. Guess pool admin will have to look into this.

So , i see i'm not the only one to have some problems with mining GBX on pool.unimining.net:4236.

May be, you are out of sync from the Gobyte blockchain , or there are NAT / PAT errors in your firewalls and routers. But the nonces are no longer sent by the server and so, we can not send any more hashs or shares.

Please repair your server and/or really diagnose this GBX pool problem.

Hi,

I think that EWBF can also be used to mine neoscrypt. But I'm not using it so I'm not sure.

We have been informed that some network issue occurs on GBX during a couple of hours.

We fixed this issue and mining seems working fine again.

The correct command to mine GBX with a worker name is :

Code:
ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u wallet.worker -p c=GBX

We apologize for this inconvenient.

I post an answer in french in your french forum :
https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=205&p=308#p308

Please try to really diagnoze and change TCP port for testings in first time, it seems that TCP 4236 Port have many utilization if i look at google request.
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b&ei=JVFVWoKiEIOdsgGwqKmQAg&q=TCP+port+4236+utilisation&oq=TCP+port+4236+utilisation&gs_l=psy-ab.3...28523.29251.0.30881.4.4.0.0.0.0.157.511.0j4.4.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.0.0....0.ByomcxmZUGk

I propose 4232 or 4240 if you wwant to stay in this port range of 4230-4250

Sorry for inconvenient due to slow front-end. The issue should be solved now. We have reconfigured rules on cloudflare.

For your second problem, difficulty of GBX went up the last few days. Moreover you should take into account the pool luck. So you should make your calculation on a longer period.

But I propose you to send us your wallet id so we can analyse the situation.

Sure thing, here you go:

Now, I'll reply to each of your messages but honestly, it would be easier to discuss on discord on the phone and stop spamming like that.

Salut,

I feel like a form of contradiction between these two messages:

Quote
On our forum there is a message validation because we have a lot of spam.
and
Quote
On the unimining forum there is a section in French if you prefer French to English.

On one side, you invite me to go on the French forum, and on the other you inform me that your forum is slowed down by moderation because of attacks !

What do you mean exactly ?????????????????????????????????????

I will continue here, it seems to me faster.

Quote

Salut,

Edit : about my link, ok he used other miners and not only EWBF but still what is the aim of all your hate against us ? Do you want to solve problems or find problems ? I don't understand what you are doing

Hate ???? I think we do not understand each other, but not hate you....I already said, i am mining on your pool and i want to mine more on your pool. So, i thionk you didn't uderstand me. I believe you think that about me because i ask you that you resolve my problem and you could not because you were not trying to understand. You'll think that i was the problem.

I always felt that at every answer you blame me and my machine and that you have no blame for doing it yourself.

After a while it annoys. So if I went up a bit it's a little because of your answers to you too. I'm not at my first pool of mine or my first command ... When you're sure of something, it's very difficult to be answered that you do not understand anything while you gave all the code, commands, and logs keys to show your good faith. I even tried all the commands you offered me each other thinking that maybe this pool was specifically set. And that did not disappoint anything at all.

So, if you expect me to apologize, you will wait a long time.
Before giving me communication lessons, start by rethinking yours phm. It's still a story of straw and beam in the eye between us.
it's not because i post posts annoyed after your answer that i hate you ... the nervousness does not change anything but when you try for days to solve the pb home and you see yourself ignored or answer this that you answered me, the nervousness climbs again ...

On the other hand I thank your colleague who has resolved my pb that allows me finally to mine GBX at unimining.

I used google translate to write this message

Still GBX Port 4236. The problem is either returning or could return.

Hi, we checked several wallet and the hashrate has remind constant during the last 24h. So unfortunatelly for this time, we presume a network issue on "your" side (the route from the pool to your country).

Sorry, no fix possible for this time.

What is going on with the reported earnings for DSR?

I've been mining it for 2 hrs and my earnings originally said around .54 DSR, then all of a sudden it dropped to .05?  My earnings page doesn't show any payouts.  Is there a reporting bug?  I've definitely earned more than .05 because I can see in the individual blocks that i'm earning on average .01 or more every few minutes.

Will this be fixed and will I be paid correctly?

Thanks!

I have the exact same problem for DSR and SPK.

Hi,

Some miner has already reported this issue. After analysis, we conclude that's only a display issue (due to cache system) during reward calculation. That's happends sometime but value are updated a few minutes later.

We have analysed some wallet and all reward are paid correctly in all case. Can you also confirm that ?

If you want us to perform a deeper analysis, just send us your wallet (can be in pm if you prefer).

We apologize for this inconvenient, but we garantie that your real balance is paid.

Have a nice mining

I'm still having issues. This has to be pool side.
I would notice if my computers drop internet since one of them is my work/gaming PC as well.

I often get "connection refused" error even though this is not showing as dropped hashrate on the website. These "connection refused" problems appear about once every 1-3 hours and last maybe 30-90 seconds.

See the picture below (or link https://serving.photos.photobox.com/98716650a21d92ecedf5a017fc5698d199856dbdf61a198070a14a7503c8c2523a37ccfe.jpg) for massive hashrate drop while my computers are all reporting normal hash rate (1500kh/s, 3200kh/s and 3700kh/s).

Yes, it was just a display issue. I got all of the coins I mined. Thanks.

Wallet: GPeB6U58YbLLQ8Audm3GTnpJ4w8eKn2SS7
Mining GBX port 4236.

https://preview.ibb.co/cSmBp6/Untitled.jpg

Same here, issue still present. Now 2 already in last 12h, my internet is fine, miners log also doesnt show any abnormality, just pool is reporting super low speed and my earnighs go down to 10% of normal. Usualy lasts an hour or two. This way I’m loosing 10% earnings every day... I like the pool but will start to look for alternatives untill this get fixed.

Hi,

Our database was under heavy load leading to stratum connection issues and website display issues.

Some caching was added, apache configuration updated and database improvement.

All payments were fine but the display and connection problems should be reduced.

Other improvements will be performed to split the load and avoid display issues.

Unfortunately it hasn't been fixed.

Look at the chart and then look at my earnings.

I will give it a try on another port if it's possible, if not I will have to change the pool.

Hi,

I agree: it is not fixed yet. It was reported by several miners on bitcointalk and on out forum.

When there is about 2000 miners on a port, stratum need to be restarted regularly to avoid this problem. But is is a temporary fix, as the problem appears again on many miners. We discussed with other pool owners and analysed more: we should add load balancing in front of stratums to split the load and have less problems.

We are performing a load balancing test on another server (testpool). If everything is fine, we will apply this change on UniMining.

Sorry for these issues, we are working on it.

Thank you for your help

Hi,

Today, more redundancy was introduced on neoscrypt main stratum, DSR and GBX dedicated stratums and load balancing was improved. Dedicated stratums were opened for each blake2s coin.

Sorry for the small interruptions, mining should be enhanced.

Hi,

UniMining updated its XVG wallet according to coin dev demand to mining-tor branch but after block 1 807 000, all blocks were orphaned. The same issue happened on other pools:
https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/issues/502

A new change was introduced in the mining_tor branch of VERGE, we'll update our wallet accordingly in a short while.

Sorry for these issues, we'll fix them as soon as possible.

I'v done 12 hour test - on neoscrypt (GBX).

The results are bad.

Hashrate: 10 500 Khash/sek
Earnings for 12 hours and 43 min:  0.28172701 GBX - GoBYTE
----
According to Whattomine calculator i should get 0.965211 GBX per 24 hours, and yes i know its estimate BUT....
with your pool for 12 hours mining i get 0.28172701 GBX - half of 0.4826055 GBX that i should get.

Have good day and nice mining!

PS: Can someone tell me good pool(i mean - pool that pay to you exactly what you mine) for neoscrypt mining ?
Thanks

Hi,

Yesterday on the 18th of January 2018, we updated Verge to the last version of mining_tor branch and then blocks were accepted and confimed on UniMining but we've noticed that today, Verge dev committed a change in this branch, we'll compile Verge again in case the wallet should be changed but we'll keep in touch with other pools. The last change is not necessary for now but it should be be for the future. We don't know if other changes will be done in the github repo before the official announcement/release:
https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/commits/mining_tor

So you can mine it for now but if you see only orphans or no blocks durig few hours, you can contact me. If you prefer to use your hashpower on another coin during this period, please feel free to choose any of the 27 coins available on UniMining.

Hi,

As you said, Whattomine calculations are estimations. When you want to check earnings, you should perform calculations according to the profit that change each 5 seconds. The difficulty changes very frequently and I don't think that a calculation performed once before mining can be checked against earnings. It is very difficult to check that an estimate is correct compared with earnings.

During your test, I think that GBX difficulty evolves differently than the calculations of whattomine.

What I suggest you is to compare pools: point half of you hashpower on unimining.net and half on another pool during the same time period. Without calculations, you'll be able to compare easily earnings based on what you receive from each pool. Some miners like to use a new wallet address for each pool to be able to compare more pools quicker. On a long term basis, all pools with similar fees should give you similar earnings.

When I discuss with miners that like to compare pools, they prefer to use a longer time period than 12 hours (they mine on different pools during at least one week or two) and mining on several pools with the same hashpower on each during the same time period allows you to avoid to make calculations to compare.

Hi,

How did you compute your estimation of 1.25GBX ?

If you used whattomine, know that they only provide estimation of income. Those values do not take into account the increase in difficulty.

We performed a deeper analysis on your wallet and do not see any issues.

Well I calculated the average 24h difficulty and came to that conclusion.
Even now with 1,565 difficulty, I should be getting 1.3GBX (and the average difficulty I calculated before was lower). And I'm getting half of that. That's a huge difference.

Hi,

We also notice that pool luck is bad these days. UniMining had increased to 8 servers recently but services need to be split on its different servers to enhance connectivity.

Reducing the load need some infrastructure changes that will be performed in the coming days. Other enhancements on pool wallets and stratums are planned.

Sorry for these recent bad performances, we are working to improve earnings.

Dear miners,

An issue happened recently on UniMining on SGL payouts. Many payments failed.

SGL wallet is fixed, PR was acceped:
https://github.com/Sigil-Developer/sigil/pull/2

When the payments issue was discovered, some changes were performed as work-around to be able to process some payments but several were still failed. Today the 28th January 2018 at 9PM UTC, we performed manually all the remaining failed payments of SGL.

If you didn't receive some coins, please report on this thread on bitcointalk or on our forum : https://forum.unimining.net

Hi,

A few months ago, when we added VERGE on blake2s, difficulty was low and it was easy to have blocks. But as the price increased, the difficulty increased too and now, a farm like your (or nicehash) is needed to have few XVG blocks. I don't check calculators but i know that difficulty had increased similarly to XVG price.

On the link you shared here above, I can see 3 blocks found in the last 24 hours (it is few blocks but it seems to work):
4h ago:   1847117
7h ago   1846816
17h ago   1845745
You can check on the official XVG block explorer that UniMining XVG wallet found these XVG blake2s blocks.

On admin side, I can see the blocks found but also that some payments were executed each 2 hours (when blocks are found).

About the number of XVG coins per GPU per day, I agree with you that now, it is very more difficult to find blocks. We can't do anything about it.

XVG wallet was updated recently according to the XVG coin devloper demand. If you didn't receive coins, can you check you balance in the official XVG block explorer and maybe check that your private wallet is up to date ? (and update it as XVG was forked 1 or 2 times beginning January 2018 but then the main chain of XVG was ok on blake2s at unimining).

PS: I saw your message in private where you shared with me your wallet address, as you are a big miner and I saw a big drop of the hash, I'll check if the calculations was correct. I didn't reply to your private message yet (sorry I had a busy day) but I had a look using my phone and I saw that you received a payment after the block was found.

Thank you,

Have a nice mining

Thank you, yes I did move about 550GH/s of hashing off because I was use to seeing block every 2-3 hours and I didn't see a block for about a 9 hour period!  Wasn't sure why it was being so difficult when I could look at Zpool who was still finding blocks every 2-3 hours.  After 24 hours on Zpool I'll evaluate and move back over to UniMining.  Not a big zpool fan....

Hi,

SAGA is a coin based on Scrypt ALGO. This algorithm is very difficult to mine with GPU's and often leaved to ASIC miners.

https://preview.ibb.co/bNwWBH/saga_ttf_gpu_unimining.png

I checked your TTF and is about 5 days (https://ibb.co/hm1yrH). That's mean, with your current hashrate, you must at least mine during 5 days before you can get the reward of the block you found.

If you are GPU miner, may I suggest you mining some other algo (NeoScrypt, Phi, nist5, blake2s, ...).

I wanted to bring to your attention that miners are currently migrating over their Claymore dual miners over to mine Blake2s on UniMining.net and are experiencing issues since this morning including: server issues such as high rejects, intermittently high latency, server full errors, and socket disconnects.

Do you think that the servers will be able to handle the increased load? I would like to keep my miners pointed at UniMining if it's a temporary issue.

Thanks!

I've been dual mining here for about 12 hours and I'm only getting 0.004% rejected and a constant ping of ~125ms so it sounds like the issue might be on your end.

We provided a fix on our actual stratum, so you should get less rejected.

But due to the increasing number of miner on XVG, we decided to provide a new dedicated stratum.

Code:
stratum+tcp://xvg.eu1.unimining.net:5770

Ok, so what's the problem here?

I'm not getting payments every 2 hours. Instead, it varies, every 2 hours, or 4, or 6.
I'm really sick and tired of mining GoByte.
This is either pool issue or GoByte fucking around.

https://i.imgur.com/zQYoQFD.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/zQYoQFD.jpg
Because the coins have to mature. At 150 sec per block it takes around 5h to mature. what does that mean? That you miss 2 payouts, first at 2h then the next at 4h so you get paid at the 6h. Because the pool pays every 2h.

The 24hr Actual shown on table of XVG Blake2s is keep going down from 0.032 to 0.029 now, but in Antminepool is going up from 0.038-0.041, it's almost double. May the owner of pool please take a look into this issue? The profit difference is too much. Thank you.

This value should be taken into account on the long terms. It also depends on the pool luck also.

For moment UniMining = 0.06345 and antminepool = 0.06154

Hi,

WTM provide only estimation of rewards. The WTM calculation do not take into account the network difficulty and the pool luck.

The better way to compare is to mine, with the same hashrate, on 2 differents pools for a long period (severals days). In this case, if you see some difference, please let's us know to allow us taking some actions.

We do all our best to our miners get the best rewards but the increasing number of miner on XVG gave us a hardtime to scale both front-end and back-end.

i tested with other pool the diffrence the were significant difference with yours, beside according to your pool stats, during last 24hours period it averaged 0.06mBtc / Ghs, im sitting with your pool with ~390gh/s getting reward of only ~40% of this, so i can confirm there is/are issue, unfortunately i'll have the PIA to swap all the rigs config one by one because of this

I'm just mining xvg-b2s at the side while mining eth, but i cant seem to find a proper pool :(

WARNING!!!!!
THIS IS A SCAM POOL !!! STEALING 60% REWARDS

i think rewards are lowered because they moved their pool from pool.unimining.net to the dedicated one xvg.eu1.unimining.net
as you can see, more than 50% are still on the old pool, and profits are still split, they need to close down the old one, or people need to move to the new one themselves

Hi blake2s dual miner's,

Claymore new blake2s dual mining offers new opportunities of mining. It seems like all the community get interested to this algorithm. All pools were immediately cannibalized by this hashrate.

Blake2s coins are often hosted on little, often new pool. Pool operators are working hard to avoid disconnections, to support increasing hashrate and miners,…

Lots of work, fixes, patches, coffees, nightmares, new servers, coffees again… Unimining jumped from 600 miners to 35000 miners in few days only on the blake2s! That’s amazing!

Thanks to all (remaining) miners mining on UniMining. Thanks for your confidence. We do our best every day to ensure the best quality of services, investigating and acting on every bottleneck! Some fixes should still be implemented.

We apologize if you get bad earnings and we are still working on it. If you have the solution or any suggestions… or stop blaming us on all post;

Have a nice day.

About the forks, several reimbursements were performed during the previous days as compensation for the hashrate lost during the coin forks. We will monitor these coins more closely.

As reimbursements were performed based on historical data, regular miners received more compensation than miners wrrived during the fork.

Sorry for the time and hashrate lost, we hope that the compensation

Hi,

We had an issue about the database replication so data was delayed (of up to one hour) to be displayed on the website, it is fixed now.

Few days ago, during the night, a server that hosts all our neoscrypt coins had an issue, it rebooted but we had to take a manual action, sorry for the delay, it was fixed.

You can add the pool with a few clicks to AIOMiner (https://AIOMiner.com)--a free to use mining software that ensures you'll never need to download another miner ever again!

It comes with a bunch of features like:

-Support on 50+ Algorithms or 1000+ coins, in addition to:

-Timed mining to automatically mine a certain time of the day, for certain days of the week, chosen by you. This helps out with stopping mining during the day due to summer heat or electric rates.

-ETH Pill built in, and able to be initialized automatically on startup

-Displays Temps, Fan Speeds, and Utilization for each GPU right in the dashboard

-Add any coin you want with a few clicks

-Also to reiterate, No Fees taken by AIOMiner

Give us a try and tell us what you think!

If you need help, feel free to hop in our Discord (https://https://discord.gg/aWbcBY). We have an awesome growing community in there with 1000+ people
