This pool use a PPLNS payout scheme, and is stratum enabled. The PPLNS windows is set to only four hours. 3% fee at this time. (it may be set to a lower value in the future) thank you ! i have added! The first block is there... thank you friends! maybe there is a big fish in the network eat too much 'Maybe' This is the exact same behavior as LuckyCoin. AWS instance or botnet pushing 100s of MH/s at the new coin seconds from launch. Luckycoin had 500 mh/s first 10 min from a single user, what is this coin up to? I've added a second node connected to next.afraid.org: pool.afraid.org:8112 This second node will be available at least for the next 24h, operates on a different location, and will be efficient for load balancing. second node: cgminer --scrypt -o pool.afraid.org:8112 -u yourDNCaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1 Title: Re: [ANN] DragonCoin |Chinese starter| welcome to join Post by: diegodos on May 26, 2013, 04:27:35 PM my client dont sync

Title: Re: [ANN] DragonCoin |Chinese starter| welcome to join Post by: Doono on May 26, 2013, 04:45:14 PM Looks like the difficulty has gone up again, 2.7 now.
This sort of hash rate will kill a coin this early on. If the objective is to try and profit gradual growth is required, if people hop on with large hash rates mine thousands then leave when the difficulty increases, smaller miners won't opt to hold the network up and leave for greener pastures. A coin with little support (hash rate is not synonymous with support when a few control it) won't command any resale value. exactly 3 hours of solo mining @ 530khash, still nothing Title: Re: [ANN] DragonCoin |Chinese starter| welcome to join Post by: Doono on May 26, 2013, 06:32:04 PM still nothing with solo mining, I don't know if I should stay or leave, maybe I will get a block soon. What about you guys ? exactly 3 hours of solo mining @ 530khash, still nothing Considering the difficulty is 2.7 and you are fighting with about 200MHps network total you probably won't see a block for several hours. It's not really worth your time to mine solo, to be honest it not really worth mining at all as the coin was massively hammered early on ruining all possibility of this being worth anything. Pick one, and hope for the best. This coin is much too slow, and is a step backwards. It is literally, CHN 2.0. Also, if there are more people talking shit about it, then saying good things about it, it's probably a good bet, its going nowhere. Community support, is very important, for profitability. Another indication of little interest, is when it's announcement thread, is less than 50 pages. Technically, its reporting. And when it turns out I'm wrong about them, I'll stop, but, while each one launches, hits an exchange, and fails, then I'll keep "reporting" on these shit coins. Not really sure, why some people feel the need, to protect, and defend these stupid coins. ::) and keep talking about botnets botnets can create high hashrate but high hashrate does mean botnets smart guy Title: Re: [ANN] DragonCoin |Chinese starter| welcome to join Post by: Hydroponica on May 27, 2013, 11:21:44 AM I saw you bashing DGC to death and promoting WDC few days ago. Now you are supporter of DGC!! Guess you have dumped your WDC and now moved on to DGC since it is at top in coinchoose. Dont know what should i call you then if not a troll? I agree that people's opinion do change with time as they become aware of new findings. I wouldn't call such people troll IF they wouldn't have bashed any new coin while promoting what they are holding at the moment. Is that selective reading or something? First of all, I never bashed DGC. I critized it, then asked some questions about it, then praised the Dev, and wished him luck on his coin. Then I left DGC alone. I made an educated decision, in switching to DGC. For what ever reason, DGC has considerable less stales and orphans. Apparently, that extra 5 seconds, does make a difference. DrgaonCoin? Really? It bothers you, that I bash this coin?? Are you for real? I don't bash every new coin, I bash every new, shit copy coin. And actually, its not even really bashing, if its true. Technically, its reporting. And when it turns out I'm wrong about them, I'll stop, but, while each one launches, hits an exchange, and fails, then I'll keep "reporting" on these shit coins. Not really sure, why some people feel the need, to protect, and defend these stupid coins. ::) and keep talking about botnets botnets can create high hashrate but high hashrate does mean botnets smart guy What the hell are you on about? To me it now feels like a bunch of 13-14 year old compiling from source and posting some 'new' altcoin almost every day. How can we take any of this seriously? There may well be some nice trades to be made for a few of us, but I don't really feel most recent coins have any future in the real world. Markets and the creation and issue of currency in the real world are very serious things. In a way you do NEED other currencies... what happens if the BTC(usd) fails? Another currency steps in. Just having 1 or 2 currencies is not wise. I can already tell where this is going so Ill just leave it at that. i think i have like 7k dragon coins somewhere in some odd location ill probably never remember so im indifferent to the coin, although i do like the name. some people might think dragon coin is a dumb name... but some other coins with obscure names i see getting mined makes me want to throw up!
