Obviously that you are right with that, this is why Ethereum is the #2 on every market you look for cryptos.
There is too much supply of ethereum right now, but i think it can easily reach $500 before the end of the year, maybe more, but who knows? Just like i said in a thread before, ethereum is so cheap right now, $280 each one. If you buy right now you can maybe do a 2x in less than four months.

Yes, Ethereum, the second biggest digital currency and volume is insane! I'm lock and loaded! Price of ethereum will be around $500 before the end of the year, it's going to go up anyways sooner or later. Actually, there are many strong reasons behind that.

Ethereum should be much and much higher than the price right now, I think Ethereum is the best coin to use and would be better to have more value since bitcoin is regulated too much by people wanting more power and money, however looking at the question how much Ethereum will be worth is a very good question since we do not know how much influence banning and government issues will have on cryptocurrency, as of now I dont think these exchanges will be live for a long time, I think in the near future these damn bastards are gonna ban exchanges so we cant trade.

Ethereum is a good coin and it has the potential to reach around 500 to 600 dollars by around 2018. But I think waves is a good competitor for ethereum. I think ethereum's price will reach the saturation point very soon because of waves. Friends, its better to buy and keep some waves now. Because now its only 5 dollars and by the end of 2018, its price will be definitely above 350 dollars.

But let's think for a moment. Will it get more expensive because of bitcoin price or because of higher demand on Ethereum? Of course I hope both will happen. I will hold my Ethereum for a bit longer.

Waves sucks in comparison to ETH. I remeber one project MonkeyCpaital asked them to fix their exchage and they told them F,OFF... :D... and that token was generating few milions of Volume there.
So for me definietly Waves sucks a lot with attidiute man.

Etherum is the strongest competitor of bitcoin and everyone noticed that when Etherum made huge jump in the price in the beginning of the year. I regret that I didn't buy some while the price wasn't so expansive.
All those coins based on Etherum just bringing more demand to this crypto. Someone even say that one day ETH can replace bitcoin. And I believe in that too.

Well, I can see it will hit $500 soon. As ethereum is leading a top currency also and I believe the price will recover. And it will hit a huge pump because eth has also more users and investors.

2018 is sure a long time. Many things will happen in this long period of time. Hopefully, ethereum will reach $1k mark. This is not so impossible since ethereum came from $40, and now it is on $300. It is ahuge difference from its earlier value. If nothing horrible will happen, it is sure to reach it by that time.

In 2018 Ethereum for sure will be the strongest competitor for Bitcoin. The price will still depend on the price of the BTC, but if there are any positive surprises I think it can easily reach the level of $800 or even $1000

If you are talking about trading and speculation it is indeed the number 2 and is trying to compete with BTC. If your are talking about the Entry gate cryptocurrency for this new business it is the number two and with so many ico´s basewd on ETH people start to discover crypto thrue ETH and not solely BTC.
However they are two very different products and if we are looking at the wonderfull world of wide accepted blockchain based cryptocurrencies there is now competition as BTC was designed to be a currency ( of course we now know it has many flaws) and ETh a smart contract platform. So i don´t see direct competition there.

Ethereum is getting stronger everyday and probably you could be seen lot of speculations and theory about Ethereum to going up to $500 or even $1000 in 2018. But with news coming up, it probably take a longer time to reach that price and also without any big news happened, it's really hard to go there.

With the Metropolis Update and upcoming hardfork in mid-october, i predict the Price will rise to a new ATH, maybe even 700$.
Surely i will drop again to maybe 350-400$ but then increase steadily towards the end of the year. I'm HODLing everything right now  :)

I really don't think there is a competition between Ethereum and Bitcoin but I do know Ethereum will be on top on the next succeeding years next to Bitcoin, I don't have anything against the two coins because I like them both and they have different platforms; its just that Bitcoin got here first and Bitcoins blockchain is kind of clogged up compared to Ethereum that's why most ICO's now prefer Ethereum than Bitcoin.

It could possibly enter the year with a price of $500, but after that, the whole year is still a big uncertainty. With the support it's getting it might even reach $700-$800 before the year ends. I think ethereum's price will keep growing since it's always being used in ICOs and is the top 2 most traded coin.

Korea prohibits ICO so I think Eth will now decrease because they do not buy Eth for ICO. However Eth's future is still very bright. By 2018 I think it will range from 500 - 700 $. Do not increase too much but stable, trust Eth!

i am sorry to break your illusions but ethereum is not even close to bitcoin to be able to even compete with it. not as a currency nor as an investment. ETH is just a pump and dump and your POLL needs to have more options such as lower prices like $10 which would be my choice of price in 2018 for ETH.

so far ethere was mineable and things were pretty good for it. but in the near future they are going to put an end to the good days of mining and a lot of people will dump their tokens and go out to mine other stuff which are more profitable for them.

I think it's between $ 1000 and $ 1200. It will be $ 400 until October 17th. But because of segwit 2 den, most people go to BTC.

Ethereum is one of the most innovative and strongest coins ever in cryptocurrency world. It surely is going to reach better prices. $500 is quite nice price to reach around 9 months.

I think what is heaviliy underated at the moment is the fact that there are a lot of different Airdrops using ERC20. For transaction of these tokens, you need etherium which increases the demand.

with how btc is pumping right now maybe its a good chance to buy cheap eth and wait until the end of the year or the first quarter, I think most of the

We can say that ethereum is bitcoin's rival but I think it was in a long time ago. Today's eth's value is decreasing, even bitcoin cash surpassed eth's price but in my observations eth's volume is still high but still we can't say that eth will price up higher and will reach btc but maybe it can, no one knows. Let's just think that ethereum is a good cryptocurrency and is a promising one.

In five years when bitcoin price is above 15k i believe ethereum will hit $1500 or maybe more. This coin is really epic. I dont know what next coin will become next ethereum, maybe neo or boscoin i dont think stratis can compete in this wild world..

Try Confideal is not a bad idea, i found on facebook that it is rated 4.8/5 by the experts of ICObench, this puts Confideal at the TOP-8 (out of 600+) ICOs

700$ in 2018. Personally, I think the price will go much higher.

Yea ETH has made itself a stable of the crypto world, still ICOs continue to use it and it is the primary FIAT pair after BTC.

A good longterm hold, dont expect massive returns like its massive bullrun ever again, but a steady climb into and through 2018 will be nice.

Maybe the price of ethereum coin will be 500 or 1000 dollars in the year of 2018. Because as of now theEprice of ethereum is 300 dollars and they need to become 3 times the price to reach 1k dollars.  But actually we dont know what will happen to the price if its increase or decrease but I hope it will increase so we can mak e a lot of profit. More ethereum more profit to come with us its better to hold ethereum.

I like the fact that you don't have any price range below the current market value ($300). Best case scenario the project will go at $500, but that's over optimistic considering that many things are still implemented and are not set yet. When PoS will be completed and the privacy issues implemented, we'll definitely see some interesting developments in the price of ETH, until then the price can rage anywhere from 100 to 500. Who know's maybe we'll get an early christmas gift from the crypto gods :). One way or another, don't really care about the short-term.. in the long term Ethereum seems to be well positioned to "take over the market" and it might even surpass BTC, we've seen so many crazy developments on the prices of various currencies that it wouldn't be a surprise if we see one for ETH as well (the project has already one of the highest returns ever, so what is there more to be surprised about - anything can happen).

Investing in cryptos right now will still prove to be very profitable. Perhaps in the future, years down the road cryptocurrencies could become overvalued and result in a crash. Obviously along the way there will be certain coins that become obsolete and certain coins that will be worth multiple times their current value.

When Bitcoin was worth $300 everyone was sure that this is bubble and the price will drop to the ground, and right after that price go up 4 times. I'm sure that something similar can happen with Ethereum in any moment.

The current prices are very low. Year end targets will be much higher than current prices. We have a great time to make a purchase, you can buy it at the bottom price and sell it to the double at the end of the year :)

I think it's one of the coins that should be picked up as soon as possible if you are considering taking it. But I would not go out of all the coins and buy etheric. This is not the case for Ethereum anyway, in very bad conditions. If you take what you have now (of course, choose the one with the best project possible) you will be in any profitable situation when the bull arrives. So it would be more logical to come out of all subcoins and distribute them to different coins instead of getting ethereal.

it is funny how hopes and dreams of some altcoin bag holders are always being crushed when they face the reality of the altcoin market and start to feel the weight of all that dump on their shoulders.

It is the second biggest pump in the crypto market. People complained about the pump of ZCL, but ETH and Bitcoin are the worst. We may see more complaints maybe after the final drop.

Absolutely agree with you. I see much lower prices for Ethereum and other altcoins. This bear cycle isn't different from other Bitcoin correction cycles. It will last many months with very volatile trading and sinking lower. Hype will come back together with new users who will follow FOMO and create the next bubble cycle.

The downfall continues to bleeds the crypto market as we don't know the reason for this rather someone wants to test how strong the ethereum buy supports and to get also some profits.

I voted for $800 with the market being as it is now I can't see it going more that that this year. Next year surely, maybe even near the end of this year it will go a little bit above $800.
