I am actually worried at the rate bitcoin is dropping and I think it might reach $2K so I want to know if my suggestion is right.

It can drop even under $2000 :o We can only wait and watching

Not only wait and watch: you could follow the downtrend,  open short position end protect (or increase too) your Bitcoin by trading  :)

They say btc will drop to $100 dollars but it will rise very fast withing overnight price will be back and going up and up (this is my theory).

We don't know what may happen exactly but this drop is significantly huge because of the high volume in short span of time. I'm looking to buy around $2500 or below that. That's what I think it will reach. If it falls to $1000 then expect more fall is coming because at that time the so called strong hands or HODLERS will become week hands and even more panic will happen.
I hope this Chinese FUD will be stopped soon

In my opinion $2000~$3000 is understandable,Bitcoin goes down because of the chinese goverment action,banning trading for their citizen and exchanger in the chinese.
Just make sure to get some of it before they allow it again,
You will lose it if you sell it lower than your buy order,if you can not take it just take some rest or go vacation for a month.i believe it will be back in the next month or so

People who don't have any experience in short positions would most likely get burned by trying to make up from their losses. Best advice for the inexperienced is to just hold their coins and just avoid watching the price burn. Hold again for the next year or so to possibly gain some profits for their time.

dropped price hasn't stopped so maybe will happened at $2000 in the next few days but indeed some people says buy now because the price will climbing up again soon but honestly i don't really trusted with what they said and my current decission from now on is i might be only just wait

Why are you so frantic? calmly we learn from history that bitcoin price ever also reached 2000 $ then can rise to 4000$. No need to panic.

The decline of bitcoin will continue, many of them panic and sell it, I see it like a lost person, and I think bitcoin can reach 2k in this short time, it's clear how they sell their bitcoin, cheaply because they want to minimize their losses, and I continue to wait with bitcoin and hope the price will recover quickly, and buy some bitcoin sold by people who panic about the decline.

we won't hit $2000 no longer gone are the days. I think $2500 is feasible in this kind of situation. People are just getting emotional and being played by the whales.

China sell off is just starting, it will not be fast and you will not like it.

It's been at <$3000 last September 15 which I think the lowest for this month. It will moon this last quarter because many country will enter with promising projects specially in Russia.

We wait and see. But I don't want to see bitcoin price below $2000 again. The price right now is better and it is enough for me than to $2000 bitcoin price. I am hoping that bitcoin price really recover its price.

Bitcoin is really recovering back from its worse times as most of the Chinese traders shift to Japan and south korea. This will surely make the price move forward and never let the price back to $2000 range.

I'm divided on where price is going right now.  It's important to keep in mind that every time bitcoin has rallied to new highs that were a factor of several over the previous highs (i..e, rallies to ~$32, ~$250, ~$1100), we eventually experienced a crash of at least 75%.  Will this time be different?  It's hard to say.  It wouldn't surprise me if we fall below $3k again soon.  But since that dip was very much news-related, and the news is now out about China banning bitcoin, we may simply recover from here.  Of course if worse news comes out, or is rumored, we may see another leg lower.

I though bitcoin will drop maximal  2400$ and i was right. and bitcoin is now back again around  worth 4200$ and i think we shouldn't worry about bitcoin,  and i wanna add that, from now it will raised up. perhaps it will gonna cross worth 5200$ or more...

I think it is nearly impossible sort of thing to drop off up to 2k$. The downfall in the market price of Bitcoin which we are experiencing right now is just a temporary thing and it will not last much long. In fact, the market price will increase to significant amount in the near future. We need to just wait and watch.

4 days had passed and you don't have to worry anymore. It's still possible to pull the price down to $2,000 but we are still far away from it. The price now is quite good at $3,900 and it already reaches $4,000. And any time from now on we can see another peak and good price. It's good to see that it didn't go beyond to our expectations that it will go $2,500 below, glad to see that the charts are green today.

Not really. The panic dump was triggered from a lot of FUD that was happening in China, and most of that was irrational. Even though yes, a few days ago we've seen some bearish markets but now the trend has turned bullish once again.

I'd say that $2k is still possible for this year but most likely if we were ever going to go down to $2k it's going to be next year. And there must be some big news to initiate the sell-off.

The support is strong at $3k so it won't be easy to break $2k.

Of course it will dump to $1,000 in someday, but not now. It needs have a reason can makes us feel reasonable, then its value will auto drop down normally, does not by someone, it dropped by all traders on the market.

You seemed so sure that bitcoin drops to $1,000 one day. I cannot find any valid reason for now. Well except for some temporary FUDs and harassment by governments and centralized banks who always wanted to control everything. Hoping bitcoin remains in at least hundred years.

I don't think your dream will become true some days or month. According to me bitcoin price will never drop below 2500$ here after. Therefore you can damn to invest on bitcoin. When I entered into this forum that time bitcoin price was around 450$ alone and not more that but hitting peak value every month.

It didn't happen now, so I don't think it can happen in the future. What else can happen that will lead to btc going so down again? Only if all our world as we know it goes down. I mean, if some shit like atomic war or something else no less destructive than that occurs. Honestly, I think we are rather safe with btc as a great cryptocurrency for the next 10 years or so. I think the lowest price btc can reach is $2800.

That is a fact, Bitcoin have now many more adopters than it had attracted back then and more adopters simply means, much more demand for Bitcoin and by extension, more valuable the coin becomes. Ultimately the coin becomes greatly decentralized as more people adopt it and that can be a reason, overwhelming drop in price would no longer be all said and done.

I think that $29xx we save last week is the lowest it will ever be. $3000 is a very solid psychological and technical base level of support. $3000 was the peak of the spring-time bull run and the base of the summer bull run. Last week crashing down just under $3000 made the price just up $1000 the very next day! We've very likely now left  the $2xxx's behind for good. Buying under $4000 is like stealing gold at this point!

What you told is correct but now bitcoin is not able to cross $4200 level and it is just breaking below it so once it is crossed we can see the old ATH price breaked.

Looking at the Bollinger Bands on the 1w charts we cannot go below $1400
We are only half way to  the median so no panic yet.
Looking at Bitcoin history we have only hit the lower Bollinger Band 3 times or so.


My guess is that the BB median could get tested again which is now $3000.

So $3000 is the lowest for now.
If we pass that point we could hit a lowest point at $1400

That's impossible to happen in bitcoin and i think there are some supporters out there and they don't let bitcoin to down..
There are some business that actually can refill if there are someone are selling bitcoin so that the price of bitcoin could not reach until $2500 but hoping this time we will see a great movement after the chinese news .. and hope china will not involve in this issue..

Price for now i think can be stay long in $3k value the trends for bitcoin in google are still high in demand so i  think there are still possibility that the price of bitcoin can be increase back what is the price from the past months ago .

I don't really imagine that the price can be hit back at $1400 for me its impossible even its unpredictable and volatility bitcoin will never hit that level again..  ..

I find it hard to believe that we'll break through the 'old' ATH while things are still unclear when it comes to what China will end up doing in the coming weeks, where we also have the hard fork coming closer day by day.

If we can manage to hold the $3000 level confidently from this point all the way till after the hard fork that may or may not happen, the market, depending on the outcome of this fork, will definitely rocket through the $5000 mark again.

With all that in mind, we shouldn't focus on reaching a new ATH yet. Let's just see how the coming weeks will be, and from there point our focus at the hard fork date that is coming closer and closer ~ fud will start boiling too at that time.

I just find this so unrealistic. Yeah anything can happen in the market but this is far beyond from what's happening now.
Don't be so sorry if you haven't took the chance to buy in dips because you still have the chance. And I'm quite sure even bitcoin crash, traders won't dump it easily as they trust bitcoin enough to hold even if it's crashing. It's only for the weak hand though.

Actually I would be rather surprised if that happens. For price to drop that much BTC needs to lose too many users, and for its current popularity it can only rise with minor setbacks from people panic selling. Unless bitcoin loses its popularity for some reason only then price can drop back to that.

I don't actually get your point but i think it's better for bitcoin to get more popularity and gain more users to make at least reliable to the government. And if ever btc drops, it's would be so that there will be another bitcoin pump to even profitting of the bitcoin for the users. Because it would give oppurtunity to low traders to at least have maximum bitcoin when the time for dumping comes.

Correct, we have already seen the effect of Chinese in the market and the price goes to $2800-$2900. That's the lowest we got before the panic buying occurs. So I can't see that the price could tank at $2000 much more to $1000. A lot of investors are really buying in this dip and not waiting for the price to go down further. Those minor setbacks would be price correction so it won't be significant to crash the market to the levels that I have said. After the dust have been cleared, the price goes up to $4000 already making it hard to fall again in similar fashion as it is in the previous 2 weeks since the negative news coming from China started.

I think you will never live the day to see Bitcoin dropped that low, since it is still very young and still didn't get the reputation it deserve. Well, you're right that eventually it will drop to some point, the only reason why it will drop that low is when other coins cope up destroy Bitcoin and took over its place as the King.

Bitcoin can't get surpassed in any shape or form. Yes, there are altcoins offering faster confirmations. Yes, there are altcoins offering cheaper confirmations. Yes, there are altcoins offering privacy centric features. This all means absolutely nothing for Bitcoin - despite all of the mentioned benefits that altcoins enjoy, people want just one thing, and that's the original and most secure network, which happens to be Bitcoin. Nothing in the world can change this. Another thing to point out is that a lot people look at altcoins having faster and cheaper confirmations, but that's mainly due to the fact that they barely enjoy any actual network usage. Just look at what happened with Ethereum at the time it had to handle a whole lot of usage - its network suffered big time, and fees shot up like a rocket, and that while Ethereum was fast and cheap according to people. ::)

I agree. So many people think some alt is going to replace bitcoin. Why? That question is never considered. Most alts are outright scams. Others are trying to solve a nonexistent "problem". It could be that miners aren't paid enough. Or banks can't control bitcoin. Or it's too slow. People who do not understand bitcoin think this sounds good but are not in a position to see what this means for the system. For example it is super easy to speed up Tx times, just do less security. Of course your coins are more at risk and the system is weakened. Is that a solution?
Alts come and go. But the actual, original, idea is bitcoin and no wanabe coin is going to cut it for me. I only want bitcoin. The rest are mindless coupons, IMO. 

But I think first bitcoin price need to retouch $3500 atleast or even below $3k to make healthy and steady pump to new ATH price. Current recovery after touching $3k seems just another bull trap from chinese whales. So its better to be cautious when buying any bitcoin at current price level.

Bitcoin can easily set new ATH before end of this year but some correction after a huge pump is quite normal in crypto trading.

What you are telling is true but on other side Japan and other country are making strong steps and buying in full force in bitcoin. Japan have even started the setup to build the largest and biggest mining facility. Once it is started then china will loose the bitcoin position and what ever they are selling will be bought by this other country and then china wont have anything to hold. Now if you properly watch then china are stuck in their own trap.

China wont really allow such thing to fall on its own trap and im sure they would again regulate or engage into bitcoin again.Just like what happen on the first attempt on where China do decide to ban it but eventually they didnt succeed and they engage with it again. Its good to hear that Japan now planning to build largest mining facility we would really able to view that prices would really rise up on this one.Adoption is always on the move and cant really be stopped.

Right, we need low price levels for a recovery uptrend wave. If price  keeps falling smart investors will grab the opportunity and buy it from wholesale price.

Ow, incident is already happened. Although some rumors said that btc will fall down again but i don't think so. Owing to cChina banned bitcoin and After fall down 3000$ ,  bitcoin is start to growing up and now the price of bitcoin is pleasurable . Now China maybe realise that Bitcoin don't care about anyone. All users of bitcoin have long been accustomed to such falls in prices. Only beginners worry about it. This period of decline was longer than usual. I think it was the acceleration before the big jump. The longer the recession the more the price will soar. I think the $ 5,000 we will see later this month.

It is impossible to know the future. Even when typing in caps. 

No need to worry anymore because the price would never gonna drop for now and I think the panic mode was no more and we could just see some resistance for now, that is why the price of bitcoin doesn't gonna dip for now and might increase up until the end of October, but will Dip when the Hard Fork Arises.

Most of the traders also have that prediction as your said, but I do not think the whales will choose a scenario easily to predict like that. Because they will take loss if we know their scenario and hold our Bitcoin till the end of October to take highest price.

Hey OP, thanks for your interest but all I see is that you are not worried about the price to crash but you want it to crash like it did when it went to 3k and you accidentally missed the golden chance to purchase some bitcoins. You're trying very hard to push the prices down but you will not see it below 4k now. Everyone who lost that great opportunity by China will now be shouting like you for some cheaper coins but you know that you will never get them so cheap again.

Last September I was worried that it might possibly be over but even without China has bitcoin strived. After weeks of being down, bitcoin's price eventually went up. I think it's a healthy balance in the community which keep the market alive. I bought some when the price went low at $3000 hoping for a good trading season before the year ends.

Keep doing the best we can to earning bitcoin and be more eager continuesly for getting profit from bitcoin, because i think bitcoin's lowest price will not be as low as before until it reaches $2000, i think that's impossible. For the next movements on bitcoin price i'm sure bitcoin price will not be far from the price of $4000, and hopefully it's true.

Even if the price drops, is there really any necessity for anyone to worry ?
We have been experiencing some stability in the market these few days though and it seems support is gradually building up. Hopefully it takes off anytime soon. However, no one can predict the impact the hardfork will cause yet, and it may just run smoothly like August fork and even better, but only time will tell.

Bitcoin price is constantly falling and rising. All have long got used to it. These mood swings should be disturbed only traders, but it's their job. Due to such jumping, they earn their money. If you are normal user and store the coins then I suggest you to keep calm always. If the price falls, it always ends in growth. Save your nerves and look at the price of 1 once a year. Then you will receive only positive emotions.

If OP when he started this topic and he bought bitcoin when the price is 3k dollars for sure they earn profit now because as of now the price of bitcoin is 4700 dollars and thats very high prive and its near to 5k dollars. But even the price continue increasing they have possibility to go down at 4k dollars only nad thats I think to good buy bitcoin if that happen so set your money to that amount.

There is possibility of the price drop but i think only 10% because most of the other traders and investors right now getting the advantage if they are  holding more bitcoins in their wallet they  can the same number of bitcoin gold the same what happen in bitcoin cash so expect that the price will increase more so that they can get more free coins after the fork and sell .. and gain a good profit..

As the news of decreasing coin spread out, different rumors also spread too. They trying to push it down. Instead of doing the best thing to save, they left like nothing but only for themselves. How can be the business grow if we won't try to do our best to save it? In engaging a business, we must be strong enough to face everything good and bad happened. Be positive.

I see bitcoin price dropping even before the fork. Even if the possibility is low, the chance of dropping before fork is possible. I think it would be possible for btc to go down to 1500$ again if things took a bad turn against bitcoin. Even if that happens, I won't see it as a bad occurrence but rather a good opportunity to buy in btc cheap. The chance of it going down to that low levels is probably very low but possible.

For technically bitcoin support line is around 3000$ this is the strongest support line for yearly chart.

Taking the current price of bitcoin into consideration, I expect the price might go as low as $3500 - $4000 if something happens unexpected taking it to the negative side. The reason is that during the past the same happened when price went above $4500, in no time went down to $2900.

Yes, I agree with you. As what I have expected to happen, bitcoin will soar up high again. That's the normal trend of bitcoin . It is very volatile. But no matter how volatile it is, the trend is going skyrise. Bitcoin really is the nest way to beat up inflation rate. If you have loads of money saved at the bank, better convert it to bitcoin and earn big profit in the future

At this point the only form of negativity I can see have a significant effect on the market, is the November hard fork. It's basically what quite some people are thinking about, and can't seem to discard this potential threat -- it's an expected event, and for that reason people will be able to act prior to the actual event. Aside from that, the reason the price tanked below the $3000 level was because the market was due for a correction, plus everything that happened in China. Now China is no longer much of a problem, there is a major obstacle removed -- definitely a good step forwards

I think it's very difficult to see them to drop to $2k according to current trend. Just change your thought because its almost 50% high. However it will drop at anytime when the demand reduces or ban happens in any country. Keep in mind we can just able to watch but can't buy. It might stay low just for momentary blip and will gain it's position.

When you cannot buy then you can go for earning it in this forum by doing simple bounty tasks and giving your skill for bitcoin like this you can earn free bitcoin without investing it. Their are so many tasks where you can earn free bitcoins so we dont need to buy but earn free bitcoins.

He said that the price was going to touch two thousand dollars lol  :-X right now it is a few hundreds below $6000 and it is not possible to reach that price anymore.
but lets hope for bitcoin, we all want to see it high but we dont know for how much time will it remain on bullish trend, anyway, lets take more profit from it, we all want to receive those free coins on November, so lets go people, lets go to buy more bitcoins before it is too late.
