I have a desktop pc that mount a R9 280x Tri-x GPU and I want to mine an altcoin with a minimum profit. I have tried to mine several alt (ETH, AUR, ZCOIN) but it only mined few milliunits. Check your actual hashrates then plug them into WhatToMine. It's unfortunate that there is no cryptocoin that used 64bit floating point as Tahiti cards ROCK at that. At the moment your 280x will give you the best ROI on this algo in compare with other algos. Equihash is not just ZEC, there are other coins, just check https://whattomine.com/ to choose the most profitable at the moment or promising in your opinion coin.
