Hi to all.

I have a desktop pc that mount a R9 280x Tri-x GPU and I want to mine an altcoin with a minimum profit.
I have tried to mine several alt (ETH, AUR, ZCOIN) but it only mined few milliunits.

Can u help me to choose the most profitable coin to mine with my GPU?

its up to you, if you will consider earnings as your purpose then check your power usage, another is to check whattomine.com, its a good GPU reference and also consider the bios modification on the two algo's mention.

ZEC is probably your most profitable option on that card, but Monero might argue the point at times.

Check your actual hashrates then plug them into WhatToMine.

It's unfortunate that there is no cryptocoin that used 64bit floating point as Tahiti cards ROCK at that.

if i understand correctly you have only one card?
if yes, do not mine anything, you will burn your computer and the profits in return will be ... nothing

Ignore the lamer.

 You already HAVE the hardware.

There is NO REASON to not use it to mine with at this point.

Wow been almost a decade since i've heard the term "Lamer". I remember it was very popular like 10-20 years ago in the IRC community.
