What is your opinion about the new Apple iPhone X?

i hate apple stuff and refuse to own it on principle, but that is one nice looking phone, far more attractive than anything android. maybe it's the little cutouts that do it for me.

$1000 is insane though. there is literally nothing a second hand iphone for a quarter of the price or less can't do and that's my main criteria for a new device. if it can't do something totally new then i ain't buying it unless my old one is dead.

I think since the master mind and creator of apple died, apple gadgets seemed to be just running around in circles, I can say that they are just fooling themselves that they are releasing something new and awsome but deep inside they knew that they are just greatly being left behind. Apple gadgets days are over and we can clearly see that. They need to think of something new or else they are just gonna be some other brands aswell.

Price is damn high compared to the features. Personally Apple is not a good suit for me due to compatibility issues. The main drawback I see with apple phones is that they don't have Bluetooth

hmm I don't understand why the price is high.
If you compare a samsung note 8 vs iPhone X, iPhone X is cheaper.
First the hardware build quality, is much higher than Samsung, the CPU and GPU of the phone are much much stronger in real life test and benchmarks.
Apple works on its own Operation System, that cost, Samsung gets it ready from google and tweaks it a bit.
Every iPhone works excellent for at least 5 years.
iPhone X has AR technologies that no other phones has, are technologies no other company has, apple has develop even an API for it.
All this things cost billions.. How a note 8 phone isn't overpriced if you think how old technologies it use and samsung actually spent zero money for software  ???

I can tell I'm a huge Apple fun because every time I tried android platform I find out that the may have higher numbers, like ram, CPU cores, pixels but are all in numbers only, not in real life.  :-[
I found in youtube a compare of an old iPhone 6 vs a Galaxy 8 and iPhone 6 was dramatically faster than Galaxy , and I was like... WHAAATT??

iPhone X is awesome, is the future. It has AI integrated in its CPU, Siri probably with iOS 12 won't need internet answer your question or help you! I believe iPhone X is going to show its brightness after months or maybe even a year later when the Software is ready to use its hardware

I dunno....still rolling on my iPhone 5 SE (i think it is 1 of the best) It works perfect for me.

The price is way too much for that specs. I'd rather spend less on a phone with a better specs than buying an Iphone X.

I think people who have useless money lying with them, dont have problem buying these expensive gadgets. Other than these, only those who are crazy for these.

@Skyshark, you are right after the death of Steve job the gap b/w samsung & iphone mobile is evident. there is no doubt about this because a few research on ebay will convince you to buy samsung g. instead of iphone.

Seriously, i don't think genious like Steve .J died without leaving the master plan of these mobile phone behind. It's just that most of these guys who are currently handling the coding project(s) don't want to think outside the box  :o

It is too much expensive for a smart phone like a $1000 for a phone i would prefer you to buy a note 8 because have bigger screen so it's a very nice phone for the price of a thousand dollars.

It's overprice. But Iphone is still Iphone. Never been replaced. Even it's so expensive , lots of people willing to spend thousands for it. Because it has good quality. I wanna buy also. Love it! Really!

If you consider the technologies and software developing cost of iOS and APIs like AR api is much cheaper than any phone on the market.
Android companies do Zero developing for the OS of their phone. And developing cost billions...

lol apple is actually so much behind on Samsung+Android, it's kind of funny. yet apple delivers a stable system that works for many years.
i still think the new screen type would be annoying because the speaker covers the top of ur screen. i didn't try it tho

I am an iphone user from 2002, the New X is great one, specially the screen. But 1.750 $ is so expensive! (I live in  Turkey, the prices are higher here)  I think i will have it in late of 2018..

I own an iPhone 6 and I like it very much. I think I will keep it for at least 1 or 2 years.

Price for Value, iPhone X is from the future but iOS is not ready for it. A11 CPU is fantastic and the next two years will make sense how good phone iPhone X it is

The device looking impressive but i dont grab it yet. I have some questions about usability. I already think that phone needs one button for go back to home. Also that face ID really works fine at dark places.

Im doubtful with the face recognition, maybe theres still bug for it..

I had such high hopes for the iPhone X but this let me down, the price for one, lack of fingerprint sensor, and the cut outs at the top.

I would like to see a phone with a good camera, a good display and a long time working in standby mode. Of course for this now they pay like a used car. Apple's technology is not for me.

Very slick, and up to the usual polished design of Apple.

I think the notch is a mistake, and I would prefer to have a fingerprint ID backup as I believe Face ID is too easily spoofed.

Apple always brand itself to be the most prestigious phone.They might be higher as compared to other phones but i guess its worth it.

I am a really big Apple Fan, but over 1000 dollar for a smartphone is a lot of money. But some people buy expensive paintings and say that is art.
But i think Apple be like art. It's a designwonder. When somebody want this, he buy for sure.

I have seen the reviews on the internet about the iPhone X. What I hate about it is the notch on top of it. It's really annoying. The s8 display is better.

I think it isn't worth the money. Generaly I'm not an iPhone fan, but that is because nothing impressed me about it..copy/paste :D

They're only capitalizing from their name. the cost of production isn't even near a quarter of that price.

I've heard it has a lot of issues with "dead pixels". Where if you leave a picture on the screen for too long, the pixels will still be there after you exit the screen. I mean honestly it isn't really a big deal for me, but I personally want to get a Samsung phone.

I like iPhone. But I do not like what they doing. They just change size and screen. Nothing new, nothing innovation for this kind of price

Also watched like 8 review videos, and it seems so bad in terms of ux design. But the reviews all rate it like BEST IPHONE EVER. Is it because they have to? Because they just paid a fortune for an iphone that breaks the easiest?

Personal I think it looks fabulous. Whether or not I can justify the price tag is quite another question entirely.

Yesssssss. Nothing new. No crazy innovations, just making life harder. It's like Apple is asking us to adapt to their phones and not the other way around. I hate this new Apple without Steve Jobs. :( Jobs was all about making sure iPhones work like how people work, so that it will facilitate us.

when the first time I saw Iphone X on the advertisement I was so amaze, but when I saw the price I was shock. I want to have one but since it was so expensive I can't afford to buy it. Wish that someone will give this to me as a gift. Genie or fairy where are you??

$1000 , and that price of money here in our country can buy now a car ,. IphoneX is a beast phone but the price is too much. I can say that this phone is for people only with much money. But many people who doesn't have enough money to buy this phone , is making a way to have it. And i think just to say to other people that they have the latest model of iphone , and that is the IPHONEX.

I am planning to replace my iPhone 7 red to iPhone X and the reason is I don't know hahaha. Maybe because it has some interesting features and the camera itself which is according to reviews, was superb. Other than that, nothing else. But I am thinking again if I will buy it or replace with with android phone Google Pixel 2. I believe the camera is awesome, checking the reviews on YouTube. But we will see. Come near December, I'll buy one as a Christmas gift to myself. Google Pixel or iPhone X, it does not matter as long as it has a perfect cam resolution.  ;)

I wouldn't spend even a dime for that phone . It will crack easily and then the phone will be no good after. Besides all iOs phones are very hard to use . Android is much simpler

No just no if I would have a $1000 I would just buy a new semi-workstation/ gaming PC. And I could buy a new phone with similar specs gust around $300 to $400.

iphone X, is one of the most expensive gadget here in my country. and having a nice and good specification but i want  to choose android phone than IOS because there's a lot of android phone that having a high quality of specification but its not expensive than iphoneX..

Iphone x looks not differnet from iphone 8, it has many new functions, specially face ID, and remove home button, the rest is not thing new, and price is so high so i wont buy it now.

It's a big nope! Over priced, doesn't even have anything new to put in the table. Iphone now, like high end bags are just fashion statements and you would just buy it for the brand nit necessarily for the tech. There are more phones that are better and much more value for money

I think it's not overpriced at all, it's a best phone in the market at the present for sure so that price is worth with it. Actually price of an iphone is nothing to a vertu phone.

Same. It’s unbelievable. I had to replace my iPhone recently after 3 years with the 5c. I got the SE, which is basically the processor of a 6s with the body of a 5s. Still ran me $300. I will say, though, they withstand drops well and they last for years. So I can stomach $300. Damn near $1000 for a phone, though? No thanks...

just nice to say new iPhone, an iPhone X, but features nothing is new compare to samsung phone features.

The button is very important. There is a high probability that some application will stop working and then you will have to restart the iPhone.

Even if I have the money I won't buy any iPhone x, it is to expensive and the only special of iPhone x is removing touch id and replacing with face id.

Every new apple product seems to bring nothing new, make things worse and eat a lot of your money. I've got just one thing from apple - an Ipad4. It's pretty good, but gods, every update "fixes" and "repairs" stuff that wasn't broken at all - they just make things worse and less convenient. 1000$ for a new Iphone? Screw that.

Apple is a marketing company, because steve jobs was a marketing genius...

There is a reason they have such massively high cash reserves, they know how to convince people pay more for their products than the competitions. They do this through smoke and mirrors. They target the part of the market that doesn't fully the technology in the product, and then they create their own proprietary words and systems so these people can't easily compare it with the competition.

A perfect example in the iphone X is the face recognition. Apple shrouded it in mystery and convinced its loyal customers that it was revolutionary and that no one else was capable of doing this. However have you tried the face recognition on the new oneplus 5T? It is lightning fast compared to the Iphone X.

If I'm given any iphone for free I'll sell it the next day. Android all the way.

The much awaited phone of the year, the iPhone X - is a bit way behind regarding its computing power. Other android phones already have or surpassed what the X offers. Its camera is not even the best in the industry. But well anyway, people wil buy apple’s product no matter what. Ive been using apple products and various type of phones, and I’d say if you’re knowledgeable enough you can clearly say there is nothing special about apple’s product. Most importantly,it’s impossibly expensive!

In general, according to external data, I like the phone, beautifully done, but it's great, and I do not like big phones, well, and it is very expensive,for such money you can buy a car ;D

I will be getting the new iPhone X by next week and i am very thrilled about and it will be a huge jump for me since i am currently using the iPhone 5 and the screen is a little too small for my liking but i don't really like the facial unlocking, that security is really bad.

For me, there is a significant difference in quality between apple stuff and the rest. Ios runs smothly and the hardware fits to it like a perfect shoe. But the iphone X is jst overpriced.

Well the features of iphone X is just almost the same with 7 and 8 its just that it has a depth effect in its front cam and way too insanely expensive than the usual new released iphone maybe because it was released with the iphone 8. And also for users who’d likely sweat a lot especially in their hands its too risky because some iphones cant read your fingerprint when its wet. But if i have enough money and nothing to spend on it I would love to give it a shot. Because in apple you’re always paying with the quality of their phones and the good thing about it the price will take a lot of months to go down unlike android phones. If you don’t like it you can still sell it at a very good price

I think the Iphone X is not that special. Because the average Apple only privileges the features that have been applied by other mobile products, and these features are considered normal by other phones, for example the fingerprint feature.

I think it is really overpriced at $1000. Actually it is cheaper to buy it in the US, as it can be over $1100 in some Asian countries. While the camera is great and all, it really doesn't justify the price tag Apple gave it.

The iPhone X although expensive is not an complete disaster. I think that people just forget that this is not
a regular model from Apple, it was made for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. I say always people don`t buy
iPhone because of the phone they buy it because Apple stands for something they love. People buy emotions.

Yes According to me it is worth to buy iPhone X and give it a try because many good reviews are circulating about this phone and people are loving it and I am definitely going to buy it.

In so much huge price we can buy 4 good android phone or other phones then why buy so much costly phone. Yes if you have too much extra money and you want to show off then you can buy it for sure.
