The future of bitcoins we can not read. But we have speculations for it that we can compare to what's happening today. Just like stopping China in ICOs and Exchangers. So it can affect bitcoins. But we really expect and almost everyone involved in Bitcoins. Our price will increase and keep hold of bitcoins. Because this is the answer to all our difficulties in life.

China is just a hump in the road for the Bitcoin journey and I am sure that Bitcoin can all survive and even much prosper without the China market though it does not mean that there will be no Chinese holders of Bitcoin as the government in there is not actually banning Bitcoin but the exchanges and the holding of ICO. Chinese are very creative and resourceful people they can soon find ways and means to deal with Bitcoin away from the freaking and creeping eyes of their "rogue" government.

China is just overrated and the market is overreacting to what the effect will the pullout of China from cryptocurrency. China is an important market but it does not mean that without China cryptocurrency can collapse it can even be better since China became the primary source of bad news for Bitcoin...once we kicked them out of the equation we can better move on and grow. Just look at Google, Facebook and Twitter...they are huge business but they do not have any significant presence in China.

The future of Bitcoin remains to be so rosy and all of those spreading FUD about it are the people who are disrupted by the coin...we don't have to listen to people who are angry on Bitcoin. Long live, Bitcoin!

No. Restrictions in China while there are more adoption based legislation conversations going on in Switzerland and the United States. Bitcoin is global, no one Country can take it down. And these restrictions from China don't even ban a Chinese citizen from owning Bitcoin, they just ban that citizen from using yuan to purchase or sell Bitcoin on an exchange in China.

No where in the legislation does it bank bitcoin transactions. You can send bitcoin to anyone in China and they can send money to you. They just can't cash out in China, in yuan.

I don't think it will be banned it is not something that can really ban it is like trying to ban the internet, a fruitless exercise that will never happen.
China already tries to "control" internet as much as they can by blocking certain services and sites in an effort to control their people.

If you ever heard about Russian banning Bitcoin a few years ago,
what is going on with them ?
basically it did not affecting them at all, until now many people from russian still using Bitcoin and buy it or sell it.
for now we might heard something like this from Chinese goverment but tomorrow ?
they will not doing this for nothing, chinese is a leader in economy and because of their statement a major decline happened a few days ago.
but it will not affecting Bitcoin future, because it has a lot room to grow and more importantly it has not being implemented yet by people.
so what is the future ? it's very bright in my opinion, and for chinese people, even though the goverment banning it they still can buy it or sell it or use it off their country.
so nothing to worry about all of this and keep holding

I think, when China forbidden of bitcoin transactions, there are still other countries that will accept bitcoin
Bitcoin will still exist even though we cannot predict its value

Other countries may try to ban it, but I don't think most countries will.  However, there will probably be a lot more regulation in the future.  If done poorly, it could really hurt bitcoin.  But if it's done correctly, it should help increase bitcoin's value as it becomes a safer asset.  It's also possible that China will eventually allow BTC <=> Yuan trading again with tighter regulation.

Just remember bitcoin is a global currency, not a currency of a specific country or a currency whose value is backed by some countries. Chinas ban has actually affected the price negatively, but was a short term affect. This was due to investors trying to secure their funds. We have seen it recover since then. So I still think the future of bitcoin is bright.

it is possible for it to receive bans... but I don't think it will ever be stopped. And morally it is not even right to ban it. How can you ban people from agreeing of using anything as money? That's how money begun to exist anyway.

Since when has morality stopped governments from doing things they shouldn't?  ;)

There's a difference between trying to keep people from assigning value to something and trying to keep people from using something as an actual currency.  The former is impossible--you can always trade one thing for another.  But the latter is generally within the jurisdiction of governments--i.e., they can ban you from using something as a currency.  Labeling something as a currency usually isn't trivial, and there can be consequences to letting anyone declare anything they want to be a currency.  There need to be laws and regulations surrounding what a country uses for money, otherwise you could have economic chaos and all kinds of other problems like rampant fraud and other financial crimes.

Bitcoin will not banned just because of China is forbidden the bitcoin transactions.
Bitcoin isn't weak. Bitcoin can get through the difficult time without China.
Today, bitcoin price is return to $4000, the price of last week.
Maybe it can decrease again, but i don't think that can be banned bitcoin.

There is no ban of Bitcoin or any for forbidden transactions in China so far!!
This is all still rumor. So please don't spread something you have no proof for.
We will have to wait what's going to happen with cryptos in China.
However a ban won't hurt Bitcoin in any way. It is global, and one country acting as China may do will only hurt itself in the long run!
China doesn't had that much of any major significance since the wash trading got stopped by government interference.
Bitcoin will continue to work as it was designed for. As a censorship resistant money transfer protocolof global scale and significance.
Honeybadger doesn't care what China or any other nation state has to say or is doing!

bitcoin is now showing that the strength of bitcoin can beat the power of the country of china. bitcoin prices slowly began to rise and everyone has been happy to see the current state. I predict bitcoin will continue to grow for the better in the future, bitcoin in the future can be a tool of payment that is widely used and has been implemented in the financial system on a large scale. this certainly can not happen without the support of bitcoin. using bitcoin and introducing it to the wider community is the most effective way to increase the bitcoin's prestige.

Bitcoin's future is looking good IMO and I think it's future price is good too. Also, it might be that bitcoin transactions in China is forbidden but it is not forbidden in the rest of the world so dont think that due to the ban of btc transactions in China bitcoin's future will be bad. Also, I think it would not be banned by most of the countries that use btc today, they might follow with Japan's legalization but with it comes tax but still it is a good sign that btc's future is very good.

Yeah, it makes sense to me. Transactions can't really be tracked to specific people. Some problems might occur with selling btc for fiat but there's always an option to deal face-to-face with no credit cards, so it's rather safe. Moreover, even though btc is not the most developed and innovative currency, more and more projects get involved with it, so the ban will be too unprofitable for many influential people. I guess even full ban of btc in China is rather impossible.

China is just one country, and yet we see people poop their pants because exchanges at this point aren't allowed to offer CNY trading anymore. Bitcoin will move past this nonsense drama without any problems. People shouldn't forget that we have a limited supply, and a constantly increasing demand -- do the math. I am as bullish as ever, and there is absolutely nothing in the world that can change this.

China just want's to keep monetary stability and is pushing on the brake... (for now)
US is basically doing the same.

All those new ICO and ICO scams are financially disrupting countries and peoples lives. The scams need to stop.
People are hitting on Bitcoin like it's a casino ... all or nothing.... It's not healthy investing!

For now countries are just protecting their economy which is basically a good thing.

Give it time and crypto will get it's place in the economy ....

Well,  the future of bitcoin might be that struggling compared from past years and based on those mentioned in this thread that crypto will get the place for the economy. I know there will be positive progress in the future of bitcoin and although it now that stable, but it doesn't mean were not thinking great chances of growing it's valuable assets.

Actually, we can't really know it because a lot of changes may happen in the coming days in the market.
But probably bitcoin would still exist in 20 years something maybe. Life span of bitcoin is totally independent in the community, we are the one who take charge on this. If we still used it, then it is still alive more than that, acceptance in the market is a huge factor.

I guess the question in the OP is a fallout of the "China" drama around the Bitcoin. Of course the turn out of recent events has shown that BTC is far bigger than a single China or any other country. Its decentralized nature makes it hard for a single country or government to control. Having taken the hit, BTC is back waxing stronger and to a bull run after all that plunge.

We accept the reality that China have a power to control bitcoin supply in the market, and if it is totally banned in their country probably it could have a huge impact in prices in cryptocurrencies. We can't deny that a sudden drop of bitcoin price is because of this country.

transaction tools with ease and cheaper transaction costs so bitcoin get its own place
in the hearts of people but behind the ease may be there are drawbacks so we should
be more careful in the security of the account the bitcoin users.

Woth all the issues bitcoin is facing today, plus what happened in china, some will surely say that bitcoin is looking bad and would probably have a bad future. Maybe lose interest from people then decrease in value back to phase one or worse disappear. But I am on the bitcoin's side. I believe it will survive every challenge it is facing today and go out better after these trials. Just like how it did back then. Although there is no proof out there for this unsure prediction  of mine, i still strongly believe this.

How many countries are there in the world and how many countries accept bitcoin?

just think so to realize that in the future the price of bitcoin will be very high

China will be left behind because it is a country that has a dangerous regime, in addition they spoke of 7 points that determined their decision against the exchange

Will it be banned?

No, there are a lot of miners who are in China, these miners pay a tax I think, and they pay for electricity, I think the Chinese government wins with the existence of the miners in their country, the exchange and icos is a different subject, I suppose the government has no control of what are the possible gains of each person who used the exchange and for a regime like the Chinese this is a danger to his regime

Maybe even china ban bitcoin exchanges maybe theres also a good because if many people see bitcoin price decrease for sure they will buy more bitcoin so the price will increase again . And if you see the price of bitcoin last week its 3000 dollars and if you see today is go back again at 4k dollars and for sure it will see the price of 5k dollars for more . Buy more bitcoin now and you will earn a lot of profit.

The poll said it all 23 out of 23 or 100% who voted has same prediction that bitcoin path is going the good way. And "0" zero thinks the other way. I truly believe that we are all correct at this time, bitcoin is and will always be increasing the price, the popularity and the investors.
Let's imagine the whales will do the opposite our prediction, do you remember Bitcoin Cash? Yeah, Bitcoin Cash after listed on exchange did not fall down, even it increased the opposite our prediction to high value.
During those days of bitcoin cash splitting from the main chain, users were much focused on the price drop. This was made to go opposite to that of the predictions. When splitting its expected that the price will go low, but this was overcome by the growth making bitcoin to be flourishing high.

I think and strongly believe that the future will continue to improve, this is because of the increasing bitcoin users so the price keeps going up, even though china banned bitcoin but I'm sure it will not have much impact for bitcoin.

China is not the huge player that it used to be.  They were instrumental in the last price spike to ~$1100, but the percentage of daily volume that Chinese trading represents is no where close to a majority anymore.  In the long run, the China ban isn't going to do much.  And should China allow bitcoin again one day, we should get quite a rally from the news.

**China explains the total removal of bitcoin miners, the bitcoin will crash.

**China explains a moderate regulation of bitcoin and its exchanges, bitcoin can make bull market for $1000 increase.

Due to the forbidden of bitcoin transactions in China, what do you think about the future of bitcoin? Will it be banned?

China's ban on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies may be temporary, to appease international agencies and hardcore communist members ahead of the upcoming Communist Party convention. China's big government and banks cannot tolerate Bitcoin. It threatens their very existence, as it was previously written in a piece here. That's in the long term, though, when Bitcoin has the potential to replace the yuan in everyday transactions, and as a monetary asset. At present and in the immediate future, however, the size of the Bitcoin economy is far too small to be a real threat to the Beijing government and the banking system it owns and manages.

If China wants to get out of this revolution instead of being the leader as it currently is then they can do it, bitcoin does not force anyone to use it, but if they do that, they are going to lose the opportunity they have been waiting of debunking the US dollar from being the top currency of the world, it seems the Chinese government has decided to keep their power on their country over having a larger base of power on the whole world.

The future of bitcoin remains in its glory, it's okay for the Chinese government to ban bitcoin transactions from happening in his country, but this attitude is not necessarily the same as his people's attitude, I feel sure there are Chinese people playing here with bitcoin mining.

Currently the eyes of chinese officials are being closed to the royal throne as the rulers of the market, one day their eyes will be wide-eyed as bitcoin transactions flourish in his country, after which they will probably lift their ban.

Bitcoin transactions are not forbidden in China, what are you talking about?

The only thing that China has done officially was ban ICOs, and a few exchanges have shut down. That's all. You can still trade bitcoin on localbitcoins for local currency or vice versa. This should have no long term effect on bitcoin's development, even if China bans bitcoin completely.

Bitcoin is decentralized.

Because what I think is bitcoin will definitely last in decades but we will never know that's why as long as we have bitcoin it in the present we have to treasure it :)

I will find it very weird if countries like Japan or the US banned bitcoin, Japan has taken the opposite route and they are in fact legalizing bitcoin so it will be very weird if theed did a 180 degrees turn, I think in the US they are going to be very careful about banning bitcoin since their citizens are very susceptible to any ban, however China is a different story since that is a communist and authoritative country.

China were actually trying to regulate the activities of local Bitcoin exchange and ICO. And even if they ban Bitcoin and crypto currency activities in their country it will have no major effect on Bitcoin and crypto currency in general because other countries like Swaziland and Japan are adopting it, so I believe Bitcoin future is going to be great without China.

In my opinion, today bitcoin prices continue to rise, already many companies-companies that use bitcoin transactions, then this shows a good thing for the future bitcoin. Even developed countries like japan legalizing bitcoin transactions, this makes bitcoin will not be banned in the future.

I am very optimistic about the future of Bitcoin. I can see Bitcoin will overcome more challenges and obstacles. Bitcoin will continue to surpass each of its records so the future of Bitcoin for me is very bright. The prohibition made by China is just a way of toying with Bitcoin, nothing is to be worried about and it will not trigger anything.

If at the price of bitcoin i guessing bitcoin price will still continue lead to the increase over time although often accompanied by some downward movement. And i seem to believe that bitcoin price can even be higher in the future or at certain times to come. Bitcoin is still in the process of development and i think bitcoin will continue to growing to be more superior in the future with the value and benefits that can be obtained from it.

Wanna say Bright. Just  "BRIGHT".  Although some rumors said that btc will fall down but i don't think so. Owing to cChina banned bitcoin and After fall down 3000$ ,  bitcoin is start to growing up and now the price of bitcoin is around 4370$ and i think bitcoin will hit 5200$ or more at the end of this October without china. Now China maybe realise that Bitcoin don't care about anyone and Bitcoin have a bright future...

Bitcoin's future is just way too unpredictable but I do know for sure that it will be good. If you look at it's historical price you will immediately notice something and that its pirce is always increasing. There will always be obstacles, forks, FUDs and accusations that will try to bring it down but only to no avail. With bitcoin's stand right now even without China's ICOs, future is much secured since it can strive even without the help of one of its major player. 8)

Everyone is talking about the fact that China prohibits the use of bitcoins but I haven't seen concrete evidence of this. I think these rumors start whales in order to reduce the price of bitcoins and buy them during the panic cheaper. Now We see stabilization of prices and I expect a sharp rise in prices since the middle of this month.

Of course it will not be ban. Bitcoin is unstoppable now and you will noticed it because a lot of country are now thinking on how to deal with it. There might be a few nation who would be anti-bitcoin. But I believe most of them will be bitcoin friendly because it will have given their community a chance to earn a decent money out of it by trading and investing. I just watched a video of a prediction about the future of Bitcoin and some of the other big cryptocurrencies. This guy seemed to know what he was talking about and was believable. He was saying that the major cryptocurrencies will become in the future what the big tech companies are today like Microsoft, Apple, and Google. Basically the market caps of the good cryptocurrencies will get to that level which is the hundreds of billions of dollars. Currently Bitcoin is around 55 billion but most are under 10 billion. So if he is correct, many of the major coins will have massive increases over time. I don't think he gave a time table but I would guess maybe 10 years down the road.

The problem is that things change very rapid in the world of crypto, Japan, Russia and even North Korea are developing their own mining equipment, very soon the dominion they have over bitcoin is going to get a lot smaller, they take decisions as if their power over bitcoin is going to be there forever and that is simply not true, if they keep doing things like these the only ones that are going to lose are themselves.

I answerd in a "good way" but there are always external factors that influence the future of bitcoin. I based my answer from the price history due to the constant increase of its price from these past two months, but no one really knows what the future of bitcoin may bring. There are too many considerations needed to consider when asking the question about its future, especially bitcoin's value is very sensitive and volatile and may change due to little movement from the external factors.

No one really knows when another country will make the same move as China (banning of ICOs), but as far as I know, Japan has agreed to increase its capabilities and accept it as a payment. I see good movement and liquidity currently, but always consider that it will inevitably fall in the far future.

The issue with the future of bitcoin is that there is not a middle ground, bitcoin either success or fails, for many other inventions things are not like that , they can be more or less successful but do not need that most people in the world to use it, but in the case of bitcoin adoption is key, since it is a currency and if most people do not accept it then its usefulness is going to go down and the interest on it could dwindle.
