For the past month, price of most altcoins dropped a lot. It's a good time to invest now.
I plan to invest 20,000 $ for altcoins. I appreciate if you guys can recommend some valuable altcoins.

I recomend-EOS,LITE,OMISEGO,NEO,ETH

All that has been said by the one who posted above are all pretty good coins. They all have great potentials. But i would like to add waves to the list. Because i also see great potential in this coin. Would be really nice if you get some.

Anyways, it is nice that you are asking for suggestions from other people. But still, it is better for you to do your own research about every coin you hear about. Take time to read heir white papers and compare them to each other so you can get a good grasp of how different or better a coin is from the other.

NEO is a good choice especially at this time, it is expected to have a good increase in price, don't know about omksego though. You should also try waves, it is also expected to have an increase because of its upcoming update.

Everyone here will suggest the coins where they have invested. I have quite some altcoins, ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Zcash are the bigger ones. It's better to invest in new upcoming ICO's than to invest in altcoins right now. Ntry is one of them.

I'd suggest you Status (Status.im). It very promising coin and currently undervalued (below ICO price), they should release the app in November. Besides that Monaco or TenX have potential or increase in price very soon...

Anyhow, ATM in almost anything you will invest in will prolly make you profit :)

You can try to consider to invest in the zrx, knc or even other good like centra. The future should be bright caused by all of them are promising project in the future.
The crowdsale just sold in someminutes, and a lot of people are interested with it.

i can suggest to invest in some coins that can do 1:1 exchange with another new coins because you get double the profit, like with spreadcoin and HLM, for every spreadcoin you hold you get one hlm after launch, so double the money without doing anything lol

I think you should buy some mainstream encrypted currency. Long term hold. Now the market just bottom you can try to buy bargain-hunting. Do not buy cottage currency.

for old coins, btc and eth will be important to keep value, for sub-new coins, i like OMG, NEO and Qtum, for the new coins, i suggest you MDA and KNC

It is always a good time to buy now some Eth,and add waves in your list. Qtum, stratis is also best investment also nice to keep for a hold coins. In in doubt search for a valuable coins that is worth it.

The past month decline which was due to chinese ban on BTC exchange & ico. your guess is right yes this is the best time to invest, as the decline is temporary, you can use this opportunity as investing before you miss the entry point. For Investment $20,000 is really a good amount  to start with.
I will recommend you to go for BTC, ETH, and Lite coin. These are really doing good than other coins as it has high demand and value than others. You can use trending indicators and demand indicators for finding the top three altcoin which are likely to get high demand in future.

That is true. I think it is better to know the things to consider in choosing the right altcoin rather than ask which altcoins to buy. Consider the altcoin's stability, how much coins are generated and are in circulation and how widely its accepted.

Invest in solid projects with hard working teams like Stratis and Waves.  They are both very cheap at the moment and are future Coinmarketcap Top 10 tokens.  I would split up the 20k evenly on both projects.  Good luck on your investment.

I suggest DeepOnion. You might think that I am shilling, but that does not matter to me. Go check DeepOnion's value a couple of weeks back(5$). It is 0.70 currently. It will surely rise again in the future. Check the DO forum also and you will understand what I am trying to say.

I would add Bancor and EOS, as for me they have very good potential.

For now, I think it would be very difficult to predict the price of an ico (unless you want to survive for the long term) but there are some icos listed on my whitelist, maybe some that you like, such as domraider, blackmoon, utrust and which  one steals my concern is crowdwiz

It's hard to suggest altcoins nowadays, but if ever you're going to put up that amount of money. It's better if you will just stick to bitcoin because it's price is going down and I think it's a good time to buy bitcoin. I don't really invest big amount of money in altcoins because as you said there's a lot of bitcoin and some would just go like a bubble.

Always altcoins that have great community are the best investments, Ethereum is number one in my opinion, then you can buy Lisk, Waves, Stratis....or you can diversify your portfolio among all of them for safer investment.

You have a good altcoins and valuable investment. I add verge, qtum, neo and ethereum in my lists. Always invest invest in top altcoins its a safe and nice investment.

OMISEGO, ETH & STATUS imo are very valuable alt coins with bright futures.

Aventus act still low price compare to its Ico price and also it’s got good reviews because of its already working product another one is openax oax still it’s value low based on its potentiality.

I have mine in bitcoin, ethereum and deeponion only...
But among the three i have invested larger with deeponion.
Since i am seeing a lot of potential for the coin and it is still on the early stage meaning the price is not that high yet.
But it would be a great if you could split your investments on more coins.

Right now Waves is the most valuable altcoin. if you buy some waves now the worth of $4.75 and wait the end of the 2017. you can see the profit almost 3x. this is best isn't it. recently waves.io will release their V1Q version and then start pumping.

For me, I will recommend ETH, BCH, and NEO because this coins are the most promising altcoins for me because even their values have dropped I am sure that this coins will increase their values as time goes by.

You should make your own research but i can suggest SNT, Matchpool, Golem, Stratis. These coins are going to be lot bigger. Even in short time. And all have active communities supporting.

many of the coins that have sprung up in the year 2017, the coin is very good. but it's better to invest in some coins that have news or good news about the coin like xem. ltc. eth and vibe is this new coin but the vibe starts showing confidence and can beat some old coin. and that's a coin's recommendation that will potentially go up.

I would add Ripple XRP as well. Though, I don't think it will increase 100x may be 10x. I include it because it's parent entity Ripple has a large team working on it aggressively.

I rather feel it hasn't got the attention it needs from investors. But that's just me. Perhaps, do some research on it before investing

Recommendations depend on how much $20,000 means to you. If it means a lot, then go safer with some top 10 coins such as ETH, XRP, NEO (although XRP is a definite long-termer).
If $20,000 doesn't mean a huge amount, then you can add some risk and go for lower-down coins. Stox and Aventus I think will do well and are very cheap at the moment.

That is a huge budget and if there are valuable altcoins that I will recommend you at least five that is gereat to invest in a long term basis just like Ethereum, ZCash, Monero, Ripple and Dashcoin because this altcoins are old enough to be considered a valuable asset for future investments. I recommend you five because in trading this coins is really good because if the other is low you can trade the one that is gaining in it's value and vice versa.

Coin I really loved this month was Status. It hit bottom, then it had speculative news to rise, and it cleaned its speculation 2 or 3 times buy drops and rises. And I think its going to be even better. It is good strong coin.

Wow you have huge capital, i think much better to invest in the altcoin which is on the top of the cryto market, to lessen the risk just divided it into 5 different altcoins. And i suggest that you buy 1 whole bitcoin and used it for trading method, fiat to bitcoin and bitcoin to fiat it just only need a timing to make great income.

I like Status as well. It's a good long-term coin. And short-term if it keeps up the rising and falling and rising again pattern then it's great for trading, too.

I like XEM due to the community but I'm always trying to choose small or middle capitalization coins to make better profit. One of my favourite low-cap is ZEN. They will release masternodes soon so it should be pumped a lot.

This month it seems i think most of the price of Altcoins looks down too on its price if compared with the price in the previous months. But surely this is certainly not the end of the prediction, i'm sure the prices of some Altcoins such as Ethereum, BitcoinCash and Litecoin will rising higher for the next. For now Altcoins will be very valuable in my opinion the three coins are Ethereum, BitcoinCash, and Litecoin.. I also have all three coins and hold it waiting for the price to rise again, and i believe these three coins are profitable if used as an investment.

The most valuable altcoins as of now are Ethereum and Litecoin, but I don't think this is an ideal time to invest on those two. If you would like to invest your money, try those with lower values like Steem, Ripple, and NEM. At this point, Steem is worth $1.24 with a market cap of around $300M, Ripple is worth $0.2 with a market cap of $7B (which I think is the most among all cryptocurrencies), and NEM is worth $0.23 with a market cap of $2B.

I think, these three altcoins are the best if you're gonna invest your money. Not only you can buy a lot of these coins due to its low value, there is also a low risk when it comes on your investment since these have a high market cap. I also expect these to become the next big things among the altcoins.

You may give a try with GAS, ARK and Vertcoin, but don't get too rush, you have to conduct thorough study and research before putting your investment.

I made a few mistakes before and I don't want to repeat it again.

In my opinion,  if want to invest in altcoin you better choose ETC. Etherium is a good coin to keep. Aside from BTC, etherium is the second best option in making a good invest. In terms of value ETC is also has it. In addition to that etherium has a trusted name in the world of digital currency.

There some coins which has great potential to increase their price in near future, AE has great potential because 60 millinon dollars are invested in ICO and they will launch their own exchange in 2018 so the price will definitely pump, current price of AE is about .000078 so great opportunity to buy and get huge profit in future. ADX is one of the best altcoin if you are looking for a short term investment, NEO, VSL, BTS are best option for trading nowadays.

Yes i also think that the prices of ETH and Litecoin will go higher. I have already invested in Litecoin I will invest in ETH in the future after i make my profit from my investments on some altcoins i have invested in previous years. If i make profit from every coin i will invest in the main coin in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is also rising every day higher so it would be wise to invest in it.

OMG, WAVES, PTOY, EDG are good bet for October. WAVES dex is releasing on Oct 10. You can buy today and hold for 10 days. Price is most probably gonna pump if you want short term profit. Else, OMG and WAVES are good long term bet as well. PTOY and EDG will be pumped this week because of some company release.

Dash is a premine pumped coin but still better than ETH

The nice idea about in order that you cannot invest all your money on those altcoins, you can find good project ico for a promising coins to go so far and joing their campaigns together with the investments you had. That's more low risk at all, because as you earn tokens from the ico campaigns you also gain returns from the capital of you investments. You profit also rises as demand will tool over when the project succeeded.

$ 20,000 nominal is enough to be used as an investment asset in altcoin, if you have more capital to invest do not hesitate to try to invest more in altcoin. The altcoin price movement can easily change rapidly, while when prices are falling at a low price it is one of the best decisions to buy more altcoin.

new coins do not mean they have great potential mate, because not many new coins are just shitcoin without having a price / have a low price / or once pump then die, maybe new coins will have the possibility of pump multiply, but the risk that you will bear is very large compared to the old altcoin and have names like ltc, eth, dash, etc

Hold firmly on ETH and NEO, much less as much $20K. Good value to invest in crypto and you are right, altcoin is being weakened in value. Right moment to buy in bulk amounts.

I wouldn't put 20 thousand or even 5 dollars into HTML5 coins because the walls are so large that they can't be penetrated so easily.
