I have noticed the greater rate of increase in the past two weeks. I always trusted bitcoin that it can recover fast from any fall of its price. What do you think? It is good to invest today? And what are your expectations about its price before the year ends?

Well unexpected happens on bitcoin good or bad it happens sometimes well i expect nothing less form a 1 bitcoin of $0.80 to a $4300+ 1 bitcoin i guess you cant guess what hppens to bitcoin tho you can determine it sometimes from speculations hoping that tge end of the year that bitcoin will rise upto $5000 hope some positive rate for this season  faith on bitcoin will not easipy wavered by tge china ICO ban and others bitcoin will somehow manage that problem and it will come to pass

i firmly believe it will hit the $5000 line by the end of the year. I have said this over and over again to gain much on bitcoin investment what is required is patience. With patience there will be gains for sure.

By the end of this year I really think the value will be much more than the $5000 mark value we are nearing the $4500 mark and if we reach that peak I think we can see the $5000 mark and I think this Year the price would be at $5500 mark value or more! We can really see that the price is really rising and will keep on moving up until the Hard Fork will occur.

Maybe by the end of this month it could even cross that threshold, it's massively climbing again and it's exciting because a lot of the panic sellers and unbelievers will learn from their mistakes henceforth.

I expected the price to go higher at a faster rate when it reached 5000$ in the beginning of last month. But unexpected problems came, the price fell down so fast. I didn't invest and now the price jumped to high.

Yes, good news for people. It's going to make the mood a little more happy. I hope it will continue in the following weeks

That could possibly happen that bitcoin will hit new ATH, the price just significantly increase probably due to positive news of japan accepting bitcoin and officially endorse bitcoin.

by the way, one most important thing is that bitcoin will not affected by the regulation of china government anymore, so, new ATH is really POSSIBLE to happen.

I don't think it is a bad time to buy at all, a little late perhaps but I fully expect bitcoin to be comfortably over $5k by the end of the year. So that is a nice profit right there if you were to invest today, not to mention I think it is possible it could go even higher (7-8k) before long.

Yes, the value is increasing again but the question until when? When will see the next drama-fud-fake news stories that everyone will believe and start to sell in the same day? When you see the price can be manipulated with a single article or a single tweet, I am puzzled.

And as I am thinking this month will be similar to what we saw in July, I expect to see the price failing this month below the $4000

It is always good to invest in Bitcoin. This only proves how good bitcoin is as an investment, that its value will eventually increase after every backdrops to happen. My expectations is that  since Bitcoin is already priced at 4200$ maybe at the end of this year it will break the 5000 dollar mark since there will be a hardfork in November especially if it will be as successful as the recent fork  this thing will surely be possible.

The current status with many opponents and a totally quiet Segwit2X team can only end in a big mess...

Cant wait  to see the price hit 7000$ this december it will be a wonderful gift to all bitcoin holders.  I said that because people want to shop easy online and btc will be the primary payment method to be use in some online stores,bitcoin  demand will increase which makes the price to skyrocket.

Right now I think that bitcoin will have a bright future. the current price increase certainly makes me more confident to make bitcoin investment. bitcoin prices tend to increase and I can take advantage of what I do. this is the impact of the growing bitcoin, therefore I see that bitcoin users are increasing and this proves that bitcoin always has a miracle to realize our dreams.

Likely the prices will go down before november and then it will go up after that since that is why Segwitx2 is activating. Since 90% of miners are already signaling for segwitx2 then I think it will definitely go live by that time. But before it happens there would be mass panic again and prices will likely go down then up after it. Before the end of the year I am thinking it would go beyond $5,000 but not over $6,000.

whether it is good to invest in bitcoin or not depends on your plans in my opinion.

- if the plan is day trading then it is always good to invest in bitcoin. the volatility helps you make good profit from it.

- if the plan is long term investment then any time is good time to buy bitcoin because the long term trend is always rising and you can make profit.

in any case you should always try to buy in the dips to increase your profit and also remember to invest what you can afford to lose. don't go all crazy in and don't lose your mind when price goes lower than what you have bought at!

In my opinion let's just speculate a mid rise cause right now the price is at $4400 dollar right now and in the end of the year I think we can see the $5100 value price or maybe lower than that because of the impending hard fork that might cause another panic selling or stir a vice versa because bitcoin gold already announce it as a dividend of bitcoin that means that bitcoin investors and users will be ready for Bitcoin Gold and many is really ready for it.

 Yes the price is increasing at a greater rate so i dont think it is right time to invest.Right now price is getting pumped therefore a correction will be coming soon i.e. price will go back to some genuine price.The correction will be there even it is a small one. So we should invest when that correction will come.

Yes, you can invest today. It's not too late to invest in bitcoins. Like you said you always trusted bitcoins. Seem your pretty confident investing in bitcoins. Just always remember the golden rule! "Don't invest in what you can afford to lose" I always keep that in mind. You can just invest in a small portion like if you have an extra cash. It won't matter how large you invested in. As long as you invest and believe in bitcoins. For sure there's a great future for you. Remember if you're not comfortable if bitcoins fluctuates down again you can sell them anytime that's easy :D . For me I will still continue what I'm doing now. Investing in bitcoins and always remember the golden rule :)

It's always great to invest at any time Thoth but it's exciting thenorice is coming back to where it used to bbe gradually. It makes no difference to me though at the time you buy bitcoin because it will rise all the same no matter how low it goes.

From last week onwards bitcoin price is moving forward to peak I think. I expect this time bitcoin price should be reach fine boom value like reaching more than 5k or even more amount.
If you have received salary today or yesterday means invest some of the amount to purchase the bitcoins, that will reach to some lumsum value soon.

The movement of the price price right now is moving normally and i think the issue what we experience from the past about china banning i think all are gone right now and china regulated some ICO again but i little bit bad news in korea about banning ICO.. but i think it will be the same will happen in china and soon they will release a good news that can push the price up again. .
If we didn't break the value at $4900 we will not see the price at $5k this month.. but i hope that we will see a big value soon.

This is good to know that people around have trust in bitcoin and the increasing price of bitcoin let us know the support for bitcoin by the people. Bitcoin has many times been through crisis with it's price but it's the trust of the people that brings it back to recover it's price.
About the investment in bitcoin if you are planning for a long term investment then there is no doubt that bitcoin will prove to be the right choice for you. In short term you may suffer a little bit if you are not a risk taker.

Over the thread title it's indicated that the price has started to increase once again, similar to the statement the price has started to get closer to the price from which it got lowered towards the lowest value going below $3000, very few used it an opportunity to benefit big.

Nice increase in price today, bitcoin price will most likely continue to rise up to 5k mark which will be an important mark.
I think when we hit the 5k mark, we will see a drop again before it stabilizes.

I expect the higest price of bitcoin before end of this year maybe 6to 8k dollars. But we dont know if its happen or not but I hope it will truly happen so we can make a lot of profit in the future. Don't be surprised if the price drops again though. I think we could see some price fluctuation for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for a while. I could be wrong, but after the huge increase from under $1000 to $5000 in a short period of time, consolidation is expected.

Actually it was a good news, knowing that the value of Bitcoin is increasing than its value the past two week ago. And im sure many of the bitcoin user are also glad with this change.

I think that markets have matured to realize that China banning ICOs and exchanges doesn't mean that it is the end of the road for bitcoin. No, by no means is it over for bitcoin. In fact, people are pouring into this very promising tech on a daily basis.

I expect price to actually go up more, potentially to $5k+ by the end of the month. I'm pretty bullish with bitcoin at the moment.

I am sure it will be over 5k by the end of the year. It has been a steady increase during the past few days, but of course the price will fluctuate, I am waiting for the next correction to invest a bit more.

I think the title says it all but I have to add more “the price is increasing Again, again and again” that’s better I think. Every time there is an issue that pressuring the bitcoin forcely to go down it always bounced back on a much faster phase. It’s like a rubber band being pulled down but in due in a flash of a light it retracts to its original form and much better. It makes bitcoin more stronger ang stable as ever, not like before that it changes its prices every tickling of a seconds but now I can see a different rhythm than before.

I also had guessed the moment approaching the end of September and early October which many said that bitcoin price will go down at the end of September and early october down due to some recent news, but i'm more opinion that bitcoin price will increasing again at the end of september and early october, and evidently it's true that bitcoin price can increase at this time. I just hope the best of course for all of us on bitcoin price movements and can be profitable anyone who is investing.

Bitcoin is indeed a good asset to invest into since it shows a high rate of profitability. Though it is best to invest in Bitcoin in its first years of existence, the best thing to do is to just invest now. We cannot go back in time so the best time to invest is now. Do not worry if Bitcoin drops in value in the coming weeks, just take a look 5 to 10 years from now and I can assure you that the money you invested did not just doubled or tripled. It will be worth more than that.

It's never late to invest in bitcoin and if you have money do it now. But on your place I would invest into it two weeks ago when the price was around 3000$. But as I said, it's never too late. We are expecting to see 6000-7000$ rise by the end of the year and the next record is going to be in 2018 year 10000$, so you will be able to increase your profit in couple of times in any case.

You should invest bitcoin now while the price is not that expensive to purchase.The speculation bitcoin value for this year end is $5,000 and by next it will be $10,000 mark. if we want to buy bitcoin again, we can do this now or waiting for a longer time because this day, the price is down at $43xx and before you missed the right time, i think it is good to buy now. but make sure that you only use small amount to tested it for a while and to know if it is the bottom price or it will be bounce up again.

I got your point there but if you buy, there might be some intances that it will drop for a sudden. Maybe the best thing to do is hold your bitcoin for a moment so that if there is a time when the price gets low,you will have a chance to trade it with other coins. As of now,I still keep on updating or monitoring its price because I don't even know what will be the changes that are occuring nowadays.

I think bitcoin will take some time to make $5000 possible my predictions is it will ht the mark atleast 4 or 3 months to pass also i think on november bitcoin will on $4700 well it can be possible if the china is not banned and all so it will takr longer than the expected price hike lol on its rate

its really good to see we getting back on track after a few hurdles here and there with the china ico ban and exchange ban making the most of it, hope we can register a new all time high of $5000+ before the end of the month to signal how much confidence we have in this technology.

Dips are good but what happened a couple of weeks ago was extreme hope people can exercise some patience and avoid panic selling

The banning of ICO by China and the subsequent news really pull the price back when we are enjoying ATH. But since then, we have recovered but I guess $5000 will take us some time before we can achieve it once again. There is the November fork which can make bitcoin price rose and reach $5000. But I'm happy with the current price and thinking just a few weeks ago we are below $3000. But by the year ends, I'm really speculating that we can reach $5000 by that time and probably heading to $7000 at the beginning of next year.

Many are speculating the same as you, but I doubt it unless there will be more good news in the next coming weeks. At least for now I expect bitcoin price to stablize to it's current position as it is somehow rising slowly and not fast. Also, there aren't that much of a news to really drive price way up or down in a short amount of time, and for the reasons stated I concluded that it will be sitting at the current price for at least a week or two.

Nope, with the momentum growth of the price of Bitcoin as now, Bitcoin does not need to have a reason to increase its value. But if you want to decrease its value, you need to have a reason as the FUD like the Chinese government banned cryptocurrency exchange and the ICO market.

That is why panic selling is the major reason why many are losing in bitcoin trading. If those that sell there bitcoin last month because of the panic created by the comments make by Jamie Dimon and China banned of ico project and the subsequent rumors that bitcoin exchanging activities has been banned, could have hold, they could have still sell high when bitcoin raise to $4500 early this week. I think, we are currently in upward momentum and this may last till the end of this month.

In general terms that's fluctuation and if we have to look unto situation that moves up and down, it's the result of what is currently changing day by day. For several days from the past all traders, and investors noticed that recovery mode is still on the way to fix everything after that previous price drops. That's why the demand still gaining it's numbers and we can expect for next few weeks for bitcoin to rise higher from it's current value.

I do not think the price is going to move much in this week however the bitcoin gold hard fork is coming and there is the possibility that people buy bitcoin in order to get more of that coin however I do not think the rise in price could be permanent since bitcoin gold does not have a lot of support.

Bitcoin is good investment and it is not too late in investing. Price may increase and we can earn huge profit if holding bitcoin. I also believe it will reach $5k soon.

I do not think $5000 will take anytime as I can really perceive the 5k in the atmosphere right now. The China FUD was just a step to even more success and a blessing in disguise. I did not actually expect a quick rebounce anyway but with that happening in a very shortwhile compared to what we had in 2013, then I can say the support is getting stronger by the day.

Also, I do not see the upcoming fork as a huge challenge for the price. It will just come and go and the dumping of the forked chain for more bitcoin anyway will really give it a huge shoot upward. So far so good, I do not really see anyone who cares about the forked chain and it will be worst than BCC.

The problem is that these persons are probably trading bitcoin just to get profits and are not people that truly believe in the future of bitcoin so as soon as they see the price to go down they sell thinking they are cutting their losses when in fact they are undermining their future earnings.

We can expect to see the price crossing more than $5000 within the end of the year. The market was affected by China's decision and we have seen the price recover back to its almost original state. China might now again let crypto currencies be freely traded after issuing license to the exchanges. This might cause another boom to the market.

I think the movement of the price right now is normal and about for license in china its been a weeks ago i think the price right now are normal movement as of now and this is also the same movement happening when the fork nearly in august so sooner or later we will see  more price increase soon much burst increase than the august fork .. because they wanted to get bitcoin gold . so they will buy more bitcoins.. to gain a free bitcoin gold after the fork ..

As I often say when the price drop is due to users who panic and sell in a loss position, now they have to buy again at a more expensive price so when the price drop is the best chance to buy.

They can earn huge profit for playing with the alts when the price of btc's goes up since btc upper trend have great effects to the coins that's why majority of the traders are so rich for doing the trading scheme, But we should remember that all things are temporarily to be happen and might we will earn more if we follow the fud spreaders and bad events of dumps.

This has proved that bitcoin has power in the world market. although a few weeks ago we were getting negative sentiment from the Chinese market but bitcoin could recover and have an ever-increasing price. the demand for bitcoin to be one of the factors to determine the bitcoin graph will move. so continue to use bitcoin in every financial transaction we do, because it can make bitcoin prices much better and stable.

It's pointless to demand the price to increase while there is absolutely no reason to do so. The market is calmly waiting for what the early effect of the November hard fork will be.

If you're long term minded, you should just relax and let the market do whatever it will do. If you're out to book some quick profits, you'll be depending on pure luck since there isn't any indication of an increasing price.

Definitely always a chance that price will suddenly go down from some point, but i don't think that we have approached that point in time where people are going to all of a sudden start panic dumping their bitcoins and cause a market wide disruption.

Right now we're seeing a lot of price movement, just up and down with no general direction. After a while there should be a pump that takes price up to $4500+ and establish a floor from there.

I have no worries regarding increasing and decreasing of bitcoin in the market, all I can do is to collect and hold it, because I just to sell it on the last dayof the year. I do it because I know that their value are continues increasing, I believe that if I can do it there's a possibility to sell it in higher price in the future.

We are making amazing strides back to the ATH we were recently at. Nothing can stop us now, not even all of Asia banning bitcoins lol. Just look at all of those daily green candles. We're in a permabull market with dips here and there when major FUD comes out.

Well i also think like that, i really believe that bitcoin prices can recover quickly from the price that previously was falling. It's now had proven that bitcoin price is beginning to moving in a higher direction, and i think at this moment is a good time to investing because there is a possibility that bitcoin price could reach $5000 again even maybe could be more than that.. before the year ends.

If we did not had two forks coming before the end of the year I will agree with this, but I’m unsure about what it is going to happen, first we have bitcoin gold, I’m not worried about that but then 21 days later we have a another fork and if users decide to use it the price of bitcoin will go down for sure.

bitcoin price increases from time to time as I noticed it few weeks ago its updating its status and it is very good for economy as well. The price of any currency goes up and down through the market forces like demand and supply.

Honestly, what is so special about the price to reach the $5000 level this month, other than the statistical/milestone purposes? From current levels it's just a +8% increase to reach that level, so there is not much interesting going on here. At this point the aim should be pointed at $10,000 and upwards, if you're here not just for a quick return. People cashing out at current levels will find themselves at some point buying back their coins, but then with a sizeable premium stacked on top. It happened to people selling at $1000, then $2000, then $3000, then $4000, etc.

Yeah ups and down of Price of BTC is part and normal behavior trending in market place, because it just follow simple law supply and demand if a wise and conservative trader you know how to buy and sell Your BTC to earn more profit. just relax but be more vigilant and learn more.

I think it's hard BTC to rise this month to 10K$,too much to save BTC to sell at a price between 5K / 6K $.Actually really high achievement in this year through 4K$ more is very good in my opinion.

It was just another non sense speculation about the price of bitcoin, The possible thing about the price of bitcoin to reach $10k will have after the next halving. $5k still to be a difficult decimal to be reached by the bitcoin due to the a lot of resistance on that level. Well, seems like we're really close to 4700 so I guess it's safe to expect 5500 to 6K tops by the end of this year. It was clear from the beginning that the price would rise so all the coins I wanted to buy I bought in September when the price fell to $ 3,000. Now it's too late to buy. If the concept later could be applied to bitcoin. Bitcoin we are pleased with the stable growth at the end of each year. The only difference is how much you earn but you will earn always.

Now the price crossed the value of 4600$.So you can see this may reach another peak.You can see the price of bitcoin reaches the value of 5000$ + at this month End .If you have a doubt means, you can wait and see at this month end.If you hold till that means, you will get huge profit.

Easy for you to talk like that, you are not the one risking your entire life's savings by investing only on 5, 10 Bitcoins to see how even %3 price fluctuation affects your whole life, for some body like me, a no body even buying 1 Bitcoin is heavy, only hope I've got is for the coins I either bought way before or earned ever since. even with small balance I nearly cry when price dumps too much and too fast, and jump pussies when it rises. lol second part is almost true.

Given you said it is a large investment then I wouldn't do it. Scale it back and invest a smaller amount. BTCs horizon looks fairly good but no one can no for certain what the price will be by the year end so it is always better to be cautious with your money.

No one here can tell you anything of value here, it's only people saying that it will go up to whatever levels, or that it will go down. You have to look at what potentially can be an obstacle to temporarily halt Bitcoin's growth, and the hard fork in November is definitely one of these obstacles. If I was you, I would buy just 1 BTC at most at current levels, and have the rest of your money aside for when the price happens to go down. It will lower your overall risk exposure, and allow you to benefit from both up and down directions. Up means you already have bought 1 BTC. Down means that you can buy more at even lower levels.

that is a fact that no one know about the price of bitcoin that either it will continue increase or will start decreasing again, but in present time I am sure about the price of bitcoin that it will continue increasing for some more time, because in present time people are continue investing money in bitcoin.

If you have to ask others for information when it comes to investing a big chunk of your money into Bitcoin, I can only advice you to not invest at all. You clearly show signs of a person who doesn't know what he's investing in.

Another impression you give me is that you are looking to make a short term gain for whatever reason, and especially when you don't know much about this market, it can only result in a bit disappointment.

At the end of the day, it's all up to you. If you want to proceed anyway, then at least accept the risks of your short term gamble. Yes, I said gamble, because that's basically what it is ~ there is no other name to put to it.

Bitcoin is now above 4800, I wonder what they are going to come with now that bitcoin is getting closer to the all time high, the China FUD cannot get any stronger, they banned icos, banned some exchanges, their only FUD left is to say they are going to ban bitcoin.

Current price is now close to 5k$ level. If price can pass this resistance level it will be new support level and buyers will accumulate orders under new support level.In case of panic selling after BTC price touching 5k$ level new wave will last till expected fork. So many investors already exchanged ethereums to bitcoin for taking advantage of fork. Huge buy orders appeared on markets and this can be sign of continuity wave of last uptrend channel. IMO price will keep it's positive impulse and try to attack for higher levels where sell stops accumulated.

Just think about the floor price of bitcoin and it's possible that it will go at $5,000 and this is the floor price. So it means that will be stable there before this year ends and still don't have the figure on what can go through with it's another all time high. While it is still early, just invest now because you'll regret it when you didn't invest and you see the price of bitcoin pumping very soon.

Honestly no one know what price would it be but just speculate.  If you are in for a short term then better watch the market, I would suggest to hodl Bitcoin for another 5 years to see how much your investment grow.  The current price is driven by the upcoming fork.  People are buying to get extra bonus from the coin in the minor chain once i t hits the market.

A lot of greens have been giving us so much great happiness, but you should know that looking at the market presently, those greens are as a result of most people dumping their altcoins for bitcoins and that is the main reason most of the altcoins are sliding pretty fast and very bad.

Moreover, it is still a good thing for the bitcoin community as there is more trust for the currency despite the whole fork coming up and no one wants to miss the chance of having a free coin.

Eventually, it all balls down to the one that will be accepted the most. Bitcoin gold anyway is just a free coin to me as much as I am concerned and it does not have any serious support of any user.

Well I think no one knows the actual high price of bitcoin because it depend on market trade but it is confirm that the price will go high because in Europe and also in Australia, Japan bitcoin has a strong hold now and some other countries are also going to accept bitcoin and the good thing is rich people also doing investment here so to clear now that price will go more high.

I have no doubt that most people will keep following bitcoin but at the same time if enough people decide to switch that will create an attrition war where instead of the coin disappearing fast, the segwit2x coin will probably be around for a long time and that cannot be good for bitcoin.

Eventhough bitcoin price has increased, there is a wall that need to be surpass at 4900$ it can’t be at 5000$ because of that.

Those increases has a big impact from Indian market that doubled its investors as a friend of mine stated to me yesterday. I’m still optimistic that it will go beyond 5000$ this month and more than that.

It is always good to invest in Bitcoin. Before this year end, I am hoping and expecting that its market vakue will reach 5500$ or more especially if increase on its market value will be continuous and if the hardfork in November will be successful. Surely, there'll be sudden dumps but hoping that it won't be as hard as the previous one. The future of Bitcoin is bright.

Yes, the price of bitcoin is growing again, it is because of the next hard fork which will take place by the end of this month.
People that buy and own the original bitcoin will get the new forked altcoin called bitcoin gold (BTG) for free after the chain split, just like bitcoin cash.

So bitcoin is really recovering from its very lowering price recently, but we can see the full recovering of it. So by the end of the year we assume that the price will grow more than $8000 but we hope those panic sellers will learn from it.
Seeing the all time high price, those panic sellers will be crying that moment when they sold their coins for cheap. That is why we keep telling people to be patience and never sell the coins when the coin is dumping state.

I can't see $8,000 at higher chances at the end of the year since price rise today is not purely because of usual demand. We can't erase the fact that one of the reason why price is rising continously is to take advantage of the upcoming fork.

The real action of testing resistance will start once correction price will occur after this continous price rise. Once it holds at above $4,500 as correction price then it was a good start again to make another leap.

It looks like everytime it is growing much faster, and it is always increasing, it seems like everytime that someone sees it a high price, he will feel tempted to buy, and it is really happening.. When it dropped to $3000, nobody wanted to buy, and now that it has crossed $5000, everybody is crazy waiting to invest in bitcoin, and buy some, and this is real, just look at the charts of every market.

Yes i agree with that, it is increasing so fast and in a very strong way, it looks like there is a lot of people trying to buy bitcoin before the fork that is approaching in some weeks, and most people want to receive free tokens by november, everybody loves free stuff.
And this is the main reason of why bitcoin is increasing a lot  ;D just think about it, it went from $4200 to $5300 in just three days, it is amazing!

It is incredible how little time it was needed for bitcoin to go that high in price that soon bitcoin is now trading above 5300 and it seems nothing will stop it, it will be very ironic if we have been waiting to surpass the 5000 milestone and that we arrived at 6000 in just a few days.
