i think yes because we have a good president. because if your country is have a good president the country is in the good standard! a good president will do all of his/her best to become safe of own country to stop corruption stop all the ugly things and ugly doing of all the stranger person  :)

Never, corruption can never be permanently erased from anywhere in the world, as long as there is Human greed there is always bound to be corruption. Just because you see someone driving in an awesome car doesn't mean you have the national coffers of the country to drive the same car, people will always want to reap where they have not sowed and that breeds corruption.

Do you guys know some real country where this is currently happening? I wish this one exists, but sadly I think is impossible to delete corruption totally, for me it sounds like a perfect Utopia.

Anyway I believe it is possible to reduce to a minimum expression this corruption situation and I wonder:

What if any politician, before be able to presents him/her self as a candidate must pass a serie of legal tests and standards like the judges does? Probably less people would like to make the effort, but maybe the people willing to do it, are the ones we need for a better non corruption situation.

I believe that corruption can not be completely eradicated, even if the automatic control of the country will be done by automatic programs. Corruption comes from greed and while there is greed, corruption can not be destroyed.

My work involve the identification of loops in any management and operating system to ensure these loops are sealed preventing corruption and enhancing growth. Correction is really a big problem in here and it all roots down to the government officials or even international donors and investors who will willingly cut corners to achieve their aims. We ve done a lot of analysis pointing up to these afore mention entities.The problem is they find it difficult realising that their acts are correct. I have concluded that, until there is an attitude change there is a long way to go..

At the current state of things, no. Change must come from the grassroots. For there to be no corrupt politicians, there should first be no corrupt citizens to elect. People nowadays are more aware thanks to social media, so I hope we get there in the near future.

If all the government official are firm to the belief that people first before them and no to corruption then it will be gone completely but the fact that there are always temptations, some of them is power, greed and money. This temptation can affect a government official if they did not have a stand and belief about the honesty and integrity.

No, until the mentality of our citizens changes. People are used to the fact that everything can be done for money, that they are "allowed to" steal and bribe. We do not even think about how harmful is corruption for our society and government. Everyone hates bribery, but at the same time, almost everyone does it. I think that we can only minimize the level of corruption, which is related to the subject of transparency. The more we know about each other the less power corruption has. I am very curious what is the level of currution in Sweden, they are the most transparent country in EU.

In my own perspective, I don't think so that the corruption in every country will be eliminated or deleted. Because there is always some one who will do it, there is always some one or group of people who will use the country's money for their own personal need. Even though the leader or president of a particular country is really good, there is always someone inside the government who will corrupt.

What in the world there are countries where there is no corruption? How much time Italy tried to solve the problem of corruption. Positive results, so no one saw.

In my opinion problem with corruption is not only that it still exist,  but that people who are giving bribes or receiving it are not descriminated. The society allow them to do that.

I think corruption can't be totally deleted from anywhere on the world. Especially if it is corrupted to its core, then it is impossible to remove it. If it is possible, it will take years of cleaning just to remove a tiny bit of it.

Of course there is still a chance for corruption to be gone in our country or in any country in the world. Because nothing is impossible as long as there are still people who strives to change the society, as long as there are still who is hoping then I can say that there is still a great possibility.

My answer is a big NO, why simply because corruption is like a cancer that continuously spreading. For 5 decades up to now it is still happening. It can be eliminated or minimize in some rural areas, but in urban areas I doubt it. Even though we have a good president he cannot monitor all things that is being done by some corrupt government officials.

in my opinion, tackling the problem of corruption in my country is not easy, the corruption eradication program is running, but the courage and firmness in running the program is still lacking, the process of arrest and judicial proceedings is very slow and ineffective, and the punishment for corruptors has no effect deterrent to others who have an indication of corruption as well.
I think that prevention of corruption is a matter of starting from ourselves, we must get used to behave honestly so far from corrupt behavior, the government must also be firm in implementing the program of corruption restriction, all government agencies and state apparatus must be honest and transparent in implementing the government so that there is no corruption in government, the law must be upheld indiscriminately, whoever does the corruption must be punished and impoverished in order to have a deterrent effect for the people who will do the corruption.

As of now My country has a new President and new Officials. And no corruption whatsoever. But if you talk about permanently deleting corruption, then I think that is impossible, see there are many people who csn persuade a country to vote for him/her, then after a while he/she will begin to corrupt the country again. And that is a fact we will always know. There are no such thing as a perfect country.

For me its a big no because corruption start from our childhood days. For example the boy ask his mother to buy him a toy, but the mother refuse it to buy the toy and then the boy start to cry so to be able to stop the boy crying she will give money to his son or give other things and that is a bribery.

I think this is impossible, because as long as there are people who are greedy in money and power, corruption will not be eradicated. Since a long time ago, corruption has been happening. It's part of our human nature to be greedy and I think the reason why other people are greedy, they find it easy to earn something through corruption and abuse.

Most probably yes. When their is a strong leadership that make a move against corruption then his or hes subordinate will practice the right thing to prevent corruption. First as a leader he need to lead his subordinates to stop or prevent any types of corruption. All I know there was a corruption if the one whos in power use his position to manipulate other person as exchange to his service. Even in countries such as Singapore and China, where corrupt officials are strictly and harshly punished, we have newer cases of bribing every year. IMO, it is present in the basic human nature. I am originally from Nepal, currently residing in India. Corruption is a major problem in both the nations. And the situation in India is just horrible. The vast majority of the government employees are corrupt to the core. If you go to some government office, you can't get your work done, unless you pay a handsome bribe to these people.

I think we cannot fully eradicate corruption in this world, Countries are copying other countries, Government officials who has personal interest and continuously abusing their power are all over the world, We can lessen corruption if we will have government officials who has patriotism, Official who are actually after the well being of their own country and the future generation of that country. I just hope that Patriotism still exist in this generation or at least pass unto the next one, therefore we can still can count on our future leaders.

I do not see the patriotism of those people who are in power. All of them care only about their financial well-being and do not plan to eradicate corruption.

corruption is part of every economy unfortunately and will never completely dissapear, or at least unlikely that it will. It's a race between the government and the bad guys, and has been going on for as long as there's humanity, because our life's are revolved around materialistic things (acquisition of things, such as money) which incentivizes people to "bend" the rules in order to acquire it. We need a completely different social structure to completely eradicate corruption (one that is not based on value, money and capitalism)

I'll be blunt, our country's government consists of those that are power hungry and will do anything to get just a tiny amount of cash from the citizens so that they could spend it on their personal needs... so the answer is no. Nope, Especially here in the Philippines. Our social construct is far worst than the others. We live for our own gain. We fight for our own instead of uniting to make this world a better place. Corruption takes place when there is envy and greed within your soul. In my own opinion i think it can be deleted if the leader has a strong will to do it, most of the politicians here in our country are corrupts, they stole money from the peoples taxes and from the other peoples money,. They even killed each other only for the money. And i think our president will hunt this corrupt government officials and he is going to imprison them one by one. Corruption in our country is like a desease that transmit to one another.

Corruption can be eliminated in a country. But it takes alot of changing. It would need for the current government to teach the kids of corruption. Either by showing them the bad effects of it, or actively teaching them honor. I would like to think if we show a deep sense of love of country or a high standard of honor then there won't be corruption. In my country, i would like to think that it will be erased but not in my lifetime

Corruption has been lurking all over our country even from the very first time the government of my country was made. But i believe that someday that it will end in the hands of a true leader that will change and erase this corruption away from our country.

I do not want to be skeptic but I think it cannot be eliminated.  The president for example is not a corrupt official and then his subordinates.  But we all know that there are many agencies in one country, and yet there are still people who are corrupt.  Maybe not that much but still doing something to gain for himself.

I don't think so corruption can not be eliminated in my society. Because a large portion of the population in my country live in extreme poverty.

it is not easy to tackle the problem of corruption in our country, corruption has become one of the bad behaviors that often happen or done by society or government apparatus of a country.

The corruption in our country is hard to be deleted because of so many politicians who are hungry with money. They steal the peoples taxes directly to their own pockets. There is only one way to eradicate corruption, and Inthink that is having dignity. But many people are trading their dignity for money brcause of greed. Will never. As long as there is no awareness of self, each corruption will never be lost. The only way to minimize corruption cases is to enforce the law firmly. Law the corruptors with the punishment as heavy as possible, do firmly. If there is no firmness then no one will be afraid of corruption.

I dont think corruption can be deleted totally from my country.This is due to the fact that , the political leaders in my country are much concerned about the well being of their families without puttin their country first. deleting corruption in my country ll be a very difficult task but rather can be manage to a certain level. The President on selecting members to work for him must not be on selecting people he is related to by blood. He should appoint very loyal and trustworthy individuals to work with. Also there should CCTV cameras at corruption prone areas so that we can fish out the corrupt individuals.

I do not think you can completely wipe away my country. because the state likes chaos. When the corruption ends, the disintegration begins. Sometimes it is necessary to feed bad people. for fighting more evil. The money is very sweet. If you get used to the money, you can not leave it and you want to have the money all the time. which can lead you to corruption.

No, I do not think so because some of the people especially those who are in the government offices opposed the plan of our president and it is not easy for a president to get rid of the corruption if he or she is only alone. If all the people in our country will cooperate, maybe. But sad to say, some of the officials did not support the president.

It was hard to admit but in my opinion, 70% our politicians are corrupt and the other 30% was not clean as well. They are doing things different thing like smuggling or other means to earn money by abusing their power while they were in position.I have given up to the recent generation. How can you be sure? In normal cases, at the most 5% or 10% of the employees may be corrupt. But still the vast majority may be against corruption. What we need to do is that we need to terminate the corrupt ones after identifying them and then redistribute their salaries among the honest ones.

I think so. If drugs was able to minimize in a great scale in my country. I bet corruption would be as well. Corruption is easy to trace because it involves money, which is documented to every offices and the government official who would be a suspect can be easily determined.

i think there's a chance to change the country into zero corruption. well first the law must be made for all the people to have bank transparency so every transactions and earnings will be open to public especially those people ion the government. in my country all the client of the banks are in the protection of bank secrecy law and that is the biggest wall in getting caught those corrupt leaders.

Many minorities do corruption due to greed and the main factor of this is money. If money involve corruption will never be cured. If there is temptation people will always be willing to grab it. Because we do live for money and many of us sided to make easy money.

Yes, corruption could be eradicated if people wil choose abd elect leaders who are God-fearing, honest and loyal to the country. By doing this, we are securing the future of our children.

 I think that this is impossible. In my country, they constantly fighting corruption, but all these attempts were unsuccessful. Because it will not be profitable for many people.

for example Government officials are people who have power in the government sector. With that power they will have much convenience to do many things. Especially if the action has value for money. if faith is weak then when will do a number of valuable behavior, the heart will be seduced persuasion and persuasion.

I don't think so. People will always be greedy when it comes to money. If it can be really deleted, the politicians who are in their own position must have done it but there's no one who can start it because of money. They are grabbing their opportunity to be wealthy. Not only in the government but even in offices, for example, bringing home new bond paper and other stuffs is a corruption. People will do things for their benefit.

Right. Simple answer is no. Greed can seep into anyone in power and it can't entirely be rooted out. And as long as there is greed, there will always be corruption.

A big No! Cause my country philippines is one of the worst or top country when it comes to corruption even we have good president. there's a lot people here or group want to become rich fast by using corruption or abusing they're position in goverment.

I don't think it can be deleted totally, it could be legitimized or hidden. People are always greedy. As cryptocurrency is more and more popular, government officials can accept bitcoin or eth for bribery which makes it more difficult to track down the corruption. In the past I need a case to hold 1 millions dollars cash, but how about 100 bitcoin now?

I'm sure corruption can be curbed in my country, but it will take a long time and lots of resources. First we will need to remove corrupt politicians and then work our way down to small time corrupt people in government services.

You are right. The cull needs to be started from the top. Rather than targeting the lower-rung officials, we should go after the elected officials who are engaging in high-level corruption. If the most powerful are punished, then the lower-rung officials will realize that no one is safe from prosecution and most of them would stop taking bribes by default.

Actually, it is really possible. But it will take a lot of years to eradicate totally the corruption here in our country. Specially, most of our government officials are very selfish and only think of their self-interest. If all of us have fear on God and have care to other people, then corruption would never be a problem.

Corruption has eaten deep to the root of my country but I still belief that it can be eradicated completely. Majority of the countries we look up to today once had issues with corruption in the past. If the leadership of my country is sincerely ready to tackle corruption headlong, then it would be a thing of the past.

Corruption is a serious political concern that involves the usage of people's funds in a government officials' personal use. It is a criminal act that anyone who commits shall be punished in accordance to what the law states. But do we think that corruption can be totally deleted in our country? Personally, I think it would be difficult to eradicate corruption now in our country but that does not mean that it is not possible in the future. The system of today is hard to change especially that most of the politicians who are in current position are so-called "traditional politicians" in whicj most of them commit that crime. But I do believe that if we train and educate the youth eho will be going to be the leaders of tomorrow, then we could mold them into a new and great politicians whom will not be involved in corruption.

I think it's depend on how government focus on corruption and what the government rules and penalty happen to the persons who commit corruption.
Most of the people want a money, they can do everything for the big amount of money. For they to gain the fame of they neighborhood or relatives. They do it even if they can hurt feelings of other. They do not care about what others do for them to gain that money. All they want is money . And i think Money is the reason why most of the people doing bad things just to have it all. They almost die to have money but they corrupted by other people who has no heart and full of laziness.

Corruption have eaten dip in to the marrow of my country and as such can not be deleted totally, the high rate of corruption in my country has move to every sector, the leaders are so corrupt that the citizens can not help matters again than to join the corruption, in our schools students don't study their books again because they will always use their money to bribe the lecturers to pass their courses,  the few students that desires to study will always be frustrated by the wicked lecturers who ask for money before students can pass their courses. I don't think this type corruption can be totally deleted

I think that in order to limit corruption, the political system must be simple, not bulky. Because the more cumbersome, the more corrupt. In addition to curbing corruption, the law against corruption, corruption and corruption will be imposed.

Since 1960 when we got our independence, we have had the greatest threat to our democracy 'corruption' after series of administration coming and going all with the promisese to fight corruption but has failed. Corruption is a cancar warm that has eaten deep into our political system. In my own view i dont think corruption can be stopped or completely eradicated but can be curb to the bearest minimum. Some of the strategies i will propose to curb corruption are that renumerations of public office holders should be cut down drastically, institutions and structures should be put in place to punish corrupt individuals, our judicial system should be completely autonomous and free from the influence of the executives.

I like that you mentioned starting from yourself. In highly corrupt countries, the corruption runs very deep. You can see corruption on all levels. Many people complain about corruption in the government, but they don't think about how they themselves are corrupt. If it bothers you that the prime minister accepts a bribe, you shouldn't be giving bribes to police officers to get out of speeding tickets. When you do that, you are just fueling the system. The first thing should be to stop giving and receiving bribes yourself. I'm not sure that corruption can be completely erased from a country, but I think it can be completely removed from the mainstream.

Even before I was born, hundreds of politicians in my country were known as corrupt, but we can never really do anything about it --but we learn it in our history books. Now, I'm in college and nothing has changed.

I don't believe corruption will totally be eradicated from my country, not in a billion years. There may be a chance to have more decent politicians than corrupt ones, but yes, there will always be corrupt ones. We, as a species, will never run out of our (un)fair share of liars, thieves, and evil men. It's just unfortunate that most of them get into public "service."
