Also in whitepaper say "DDD tokens are expected to be distributed 31​ ​days​ after the TGE, and transferable at least 7​ ​days​ after the end of the TGE." So this not mean I will receive token instant after payment send?

Huge money is at stake here but seems that the project comprises of legit team.
And the good thing here is that they have corresponding linkedin links, so this one might really be authentic.

If you are asking if we are sure we will reach our soft cap, the answer is we don't know.  We have pre-commitments that make it seem highly likely that we will but the white-list doesn't open until November 1st.  When it does we will have a better idea about hitting the soft cap.

I am not sure, I have never heard of idice.  Assuming that is a platform for ICO's?  Well if so that would make them similar for sure.  But what if you don't like one ICO platform and want to run an ICO.  Should you use it anyway?  Of course not.  You should find an ICO platform you like and use it instead.  In the future there will be many ICO platforms.  Some will be better than others.  This is a good things.  People will have options on what one's they prefer to list their ICO on.  Competition is good for innovation.

This is a token generating event.  So the total supply will depend on the number of ETH invested.

There's no refund if it doesn't hit softcap, that's for a different reason. From whitepaper:

Why do you need all this information?

For identification purposes they usually ask you to take a picture of yourself holding your ID next to your face.  They also ask that you upload an image of just the ID.  This is the standard practice for KYC (know your customer).  Many white-list and exchanges require this to prove you are who you say you are.

It seems that there are many people in this thread that whole-heartedly believe in the future success of this ICO. I have seen many ICO threads that have had very opposite reactions. I am curious what elements in an ICO announcement thread instill more confidence in people?

In part, I think, because the Dropdeck team went on a roadtrip and met and spoke to a lot of people face to face, and not just in text.

DropDeck works because, throughout the entirety of the platform, we will be constantly growing and improving due to our active user base. The participation of our community is crucial for the A.I. applications and Blockchain technology to achieve maximum utility. Could this be true? Because even in their first impression it shows they were not legit. Now how and why should we trust the people they partnering with. How are we sure they are not the same people who moved started another project and want people to invest and get scammed again?
First in their bounty thread they said the bounty is based on Bounty Buy Back, which means at the end of the bounty, they will buy the tokens from the bounty hunters with Ethereum amount equivalent using their ICO rate, at the end they borough some stories that the money was locked on escrew there about. Now they telling us of swap.
