Hi everyone!

I'd like to quickly announce the app my friend and I have been working on the last few months. We're pretty proud of it and we think you might dig it.  8)

That app is ∆ Delta, a cryptocurrency portfolio management tool for iOS (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apple-store/id1288676542?mt=8) & Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.getdelta.android). It's primarily built to have a clear overview of all your cryptocurrency investments and your total holdings and profit or loss.
You can even add ICO coins that are not available on any exchange yet, making Delta the most complete portfolio app out there. Well, according to us, naturally. :)

Why Delta? There's already Blockfolio?
We made Delta because we're cryptocurrency investors ourselves and we found the competing apps lacking on certain parts. The Delta MVP was really simple: an app that shows your total portfolio holdings with a clear profit or loss indication next to it. In total and per coin. So we did that. And then we went a bit further to make Delta (in our humble opinion) the best solution out there to keep track of your cryptocurrency investments. Like already mentioned, we support ICO's and have the option to 'Deduct/Add from holdings'. No more double positions to enter.

Okay, what else?
We have a lot of plans for Delta as we want it to become much more feature-complete with things like Watchlist, Automatic API integrations, multiple portfolios, a desktop application and much much more. We all plan to do this before the end of the year. Fingers crossed!

But I already have all my transactions somewhere else...
We realise that it's a huge ask to manually transfer all your manually entered transactions to a new app. For some, that ask is too big, no matter how much better the app is. So yes, we're working on multiple 'bulk import' solutions, including auto-imports from exchange API's.

What are you doing with my data?
Let's get this out of the way. We do not sell your data with any party nor do we have any intention to do this in the future. So how do you make money? We don't. For now. We have plans to add empowering paying features to Delta that bring value to the overall application. But whatever you see now in the app will remain free.

I see you've opened a new thread here. Do you have any timeline on the removal of the permission we talked about earlier? Still looking to test this one out :)

We're aiming to get the permission removal included in our 1.2 update. If it's not 1.2, then it's definitely the release after that. :)

I've downloaded and installed the delta app on my android, but there are some features I have not found (buy orders, sell orders and trades). Also idr (indonesian rupiah) added in change currency. I will wait for the latest update from you.

Hi! 1.2 has been released and we already removed some permissions. We also tried to get rid of the 'draw over apps' permission but haven't found it completely how to be able to not have it. The app is built with React Native and all these permissions are baked in.

This however should give you some confidence that we don't do anything with it. But we'll keep trying to get rid of that one for the 1.3 update. :)

Great! I just installed the app and it looks cool.

I tried adding a coin, seemed pretty straight-forward. But when I was done with all input fields, I pressed Add Transaction and got stuck with a spinner. So I canceled and tried again twice with the same issue. I decided to exit completely and when returning to the first screen I saw all transactions were added.

Apparently it did add everything, but did not return to the portfolio overview screen after pressing Add Transaction. Maybe it's just my phone, but you could look into this :)

Will be adding some of my ICOs when I get the chance and update again.

Some users are reporting this issue indeed. We did two hotfix releases already for Android specifically that improves some of this stuff. We're staying dedicated on Android fixes for the moment until we proceed with our next features.

I updated and added an ICO, it all worked fine now! Great job! I'll be adding more during the week and let you know if I run into anything else, but looks good so far!

Well, first of all: they are not as multi platform as we are. We are on iPhone, Android Phone, iPad, Android Tablet and also on Mac & Windows by the end of the year.

Then there’s the app itself. Apart from Coindex (which we think is & looks amazing, but it’s not a portfolio tracker), Delta looks and feels way better than anything else out there. You feel that Blockfolio is designed by engineers. It functions, it’s really good. I used to use it all the time and liked it a lot. But the UI & UX isn’t great.

Substance over style of course, so we also tried to make Delta not only on par (feature-wise) with Blockfolio but even go beyond them. We launched with a ‘Deduct/Add from holdings’ feature which our users loved right away and we also have a solution to track any ICO out there that isn’t on an exchange yet.

Then there are the small things, like the fact that we seamlessly combine different pairs for a coin in one overview. We also put the focus on a few different things we found really important: like immediately showing the total profit & loss for your whole portfolio and for every coin. It’s a different approach and makes so much sense.

And this is all just the beginning really. We have so much stuff lined up already and with lined up we mean, we have the plans, the designs, the flows, it just needs to be build. API integrations with the exchanges to import your trades is probably the biggest one, but there’s much more going from portfolio analytics to advanced alerts.

Great project so far! What I would like to see is maybe have the icons of the coins be their respective logos with colours so it's easier to find what you are looking for. Also I really liked the option to view the cost of the coin in BTC and not just a country currency.

We'll spend some time on the icons & logos once our major features are out of the way. :)

Just downloaded the App, looks decent so far. Will dig in it a bit and add my portfolio. I agree with you that competition drives the market, so its good that you developed this app to compete with blockfolio. Thumbs up.

I've had this app on my phone for a while now and added one of my portfolios today.

I think you really have a leg up here with the option to add fee % to your transactions. It looks like the team thought of everything to get an accurate representation of your portfolio.

Only thing I couldn't find was an option to make the app/fonts smaller.. I might be missing it, because I did find a way to increase it, but I'd like to decrease it :)

Well, Delta is awesome now! They added Charts so I can see how my portfolio perfomed through 3 days,week,months,year.., but please add like a pointer so I can see the exact value on the chart when I press it. :)

+ It would be cool, if you could add a custom order so I can reorder my coins list by priority. 

Anyone else having some sluggish performance in Delta?
I have added in more and more transactions and now if I was to go back to the open version of the app and click a Coin it seems to store up all my clicks then get to what I want after about 5 seconds.

I'm starting to love this app more and more.

It's faster than the other one I was using and I discovered features that I literally requested for the other app!
I love how you can set Alerts for coins in fiat currency.. just what I was looking for.

The only thing I'm not fond of (or not used to yet) is the list.. I find it to be a bit bulky, but might be a matter of time.

Seriously thinking of moving my entire portfolio overview over to this one!

Love the app. Feature requests: Toggle compact list for transactions. Currently Under the general tab, shows me the price with 8 digits, but when going to the Transactions tab, has 9 digits -- this is confusing at a glance, looks like a 1000% difference.

Just the perfect app for controlling your portfolio, I'm using it now for almost a month and I can say that this is the best portfolio app on the market. Good luck to the team.

The app is only designed to track your own crypto investments and trades..this app isn't a crypto wallet!!

Can I change the price to use "Ask Price" instead of "Bid Price"

Hi. I just tried connecting to coinbase via API key.  I got an error message saying that Coinbase has rate limited my IP. Why does that happen, and what should I do?

i have the same issue over and over ... waiting still 2 days for Bitfinex API ... always this Error.

See, I'm using the FinTab.io (https://fintab.io/) app for example. They have a very nice interface, very fast data exchange with exchanges, and many different profiles.

I already met many such mobile applications in the likeness GetDelta. But most of all I liked working with FinTab, the service is more convenient, also completely free.

I can't find any information about FinTab. Can you share a link to their website or even a branch on the forum? So I could get a closer look at the project?

I Can say that since FinTab is convenient to operate.

Just yesterday I registered on the platform FinTab and downloaded to the tablet their mobile application. So far, I'm getting acquainted with the functionality, but I can say that it looks very good.
