2020 millionaires all  over the world ;D ;D

no, not all!

what you see is the price going up, but that does not mean people are becoming millionaires because of it.
although many have been and will continue to make profit but there will always also be a lot of others who will always continue to chase their own tails.

we have seen multiple times, people who buy on top then panic sell after things turn a little grey for their taste. like when price went above $4000 the first time, they waited and waited until price was on top and then bought at $4700+ and when the correction began they waited and waited and panic sold at $3500.

the market filled with panic sellers will only have some millionaires who become that because of the panic sellers ;)

I think that there are a little bit more than 2020, they are too little, and i saw a notice a few weeks ago that there were more than thousands of millionaires and billionaires because of bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general.
But because of this, a lot of people are making false hopes that they will be millionaires by only holding 0.10 bitcoins, and it is full of those people in this forum.
And i am getting tired of it, i dont know.

honestly though, not even 10% would be able to cash out completely without collapsing the prices.

10% of what? of total bitcoin amount? that is 1,670,000BTC that is 9.2 billion dollar. if you dump that much money on ANY market, it will crash and burn to the ground. it is not just bitcoin.

besides, such crash and burn will be temporary. earlier this year, it was some bug or a whale's bot that went crazy and dumped bitcoin on an exchange and crashed price to $0.10. guess how many minutes that price lasted before going back up?

The fact is that more and more people have become rich. they get a much better life after getting to know bitcoin, it's the same as what I experienced. now I can make my family happy and also realize my dreams. bitcoin is a miracle because it has changed many ways of life in this world for the better.

hum.i also think so.because crypto currency (like btc,altcoin) are more profitable. people can earn extra money by this.most of the important thing is that,it's have a bright future and the price is growing with time.for that,people can earn much from crypto world and make themselves millionaires.

Being millonaire in crytocurrency world is not that difficult. It depends on how much you love to take risks... If much, voila! You are a millionaire when you are 24 :)

Unfortunately, this is the nature of mankind and the markets. Fear of losing, is much greater than the joy of winning. There are whole books in the gambling community dedicated to this.

That would be great.. But there are more hurdles to cross and battles to be won (some legal ones..in court)...

Those who have patience and long term goal group of people who are crypto coins holders will become millionaire by 2020 but not all because some people dont have patience to wait for the right timing to sell a coin. They just look for a short term by selling a coin when it temporary pump or dump immediately.

yes, your prediction may be true and it can happen. but I'm sure it will only happen to people who are trying to work hard and smart from now on. because to get success in this world is not easy. so of course everyone will not be millionaires if they just stay.

At the end of the day some people who did have hundreds invested in Bitcoin they probably would of sold before the current price now. Hopefully, if they were smart they would at least kept a small percentage of Bitcoin to hold on for the future.

Then there's people who are only dealing in Bitcoin and at the moment not everything can be bought with Bitcoin.

There will be but that will make the price of bitcoin fall drastically if these people decided to sell at the same time. Once the goal of each person has been reached one by one people will sell bitcoin and decided to covert it to traditional currency and that will affect the bitcoin community. There will be millionaires but not all, unless there will be more establishments or businesses that will accept bitcoin as payment. As this will make the currency circulate it will change how the world view of bitcoin thus creating more millionaires.

There are millionaires made all the time in cryptocurrencies.  It wasn't that long ago that the XEM airdrop was done in which the participants received millions of NEM absolutely free.  That airdrop made lots of people (who hodled) millionaires.

in order to become a millionaire you have invest a lot of money too.
this means people all around the world have to be at least rich and also have to take a huge risk of investing their riches in bitcoin to become millionaires.

and i see you are misled by saying "crypto currency" in general. you seem to have no familiarity with altcoin market and how it drops hard and how many are losing all their money because of the dump part of the pump and dump scheme that goes on there.

This is true on which if a certain person would decide to sell out his coins and would become a millionaire then for sure it would really affect bitcoins price it might not be big but it will surely decrease this is why they cant really cash it all or large number of people would decide to sell all at once.Bitcoin can really give the opportunity to be come millionaire but i would say it would really be on small ratio and consider also that altcoins would really give the same opportunity of a certain crypto holder to become a millionaire if he did hit the right time and spot.

Yes, people have become millionaires/rich through bitcoin but I think the number is often inflated and overhyped when people regale us with stories of how those who bought bitcoins earlier are now super rich.

If you take stories, such as the guy who bought 2 pizzas for 10000 BTC, the fact that many always panic sell in the long run when there is a negative news and those who have lost while trading altcoins you will find out that the number of said millionaires is not really as touted.

I think it is not good for all because if doest poor nobody can be rich so it is impossible in this world then nobody do hand work or factory work because they are rich then i think that money have a limit only.  There has no level 2 if doesnt have level 1.

They might have the personal problems to handle with the fund henceforth, he can be manage the bitcoin has earned or saved when the time bitcoin price rising itself and can't wait till the complete bump. Don't consider this is the right time to sell the coins. This time bump will flies till the hard fork day so you can hold the bitcoin till November 20th at least to see the value more than 6k.

In order to become a millionaire by 2020 through bitcoins, you will have to invest about $500,000 dollars before 2020 comes and am sure that by then, the price of bitcoin would have tripled or even quadrupled by then and you could have been a multi millionaire by then.

people have been saying this for a very long time. and yet we only hear rare stories of people who "bought and forgot" to come back to a large amount of money.

and in my opinion this is a poisonous way of thinking. to just think of becoming a millionaire from cryptocurrencies. bitcoin obviously has a lot of potential and is a good investment. altcoins are also good short term investments and can be very profitable. but none of this means you should expect miracles.
and when people start thinking of becoming millionaires, they would also want it to happen overnight and that is even worse.

Well, if someone is a millionaire on paper or "in wallet" then they are in fact a millionaire. That's what the definition means. you don't have to sell your bitcoin (or stocks, bonds, real estate, or insert asset here, etc.) to declare your self a millionaire.

But the follow the leader buying an panic selling are an awful cycle to get into. There should be a rule. If you buy once and it goes down, buy again, if it still goes down you can make a proper sell decision.

I do not think that cryptocurrency is making people millionaire all over the world.  Remember  there is only a change of hand in terms of currency, so when someone get richer, another one get poorer.  That is the truth.  Cryptocurrency might make you a millionaire but there is someone who will become poorer, it is always balance.

This may not hold true. For example I bought btc at 1000$ and sold at 2000$ to someone. So i made a profit. In return that other person say may sold at 2500$ or 1500$ to someone depending upon the market situation and his need for money. Thus it can not always be one's gain is another loss. Both can make profits.

I'd like to believe that bitcoin really makes some people millionaire especially those who were able to buy bitcoin when the price is very much cheaper and hold it until today I'm sure many of them are enjoying the harvest of their investment. Yes that's right, crypto currencies nowadays is changing the lives of many people all over the world, and even making many millionaires.
There is many investors started holding BTC early and now they are already wealthy and richs. Also some others invested in successful ICOs, and get good profit

I also have the same desire with you. but not everyone will get satisfactory results from cryptocurency, can be observed from where they get the cryptocurrency, if get it from trading there will be a profit and loss.

Cryptocurrency isn't that a stable investment to attract lots of people. You need lots of patience and analytical skill to do good in cryptocurrency.
If you're less tolerant to risk and impatient you'll hardly thrive here. Certain personality types do better.

Not everyone into Cryptocurrency has turned millionaire overnight.
It's a gradual thing, most people are not yet millionaires, but due to Cryptocurrency, they can now afford a very good standard of living.

There is no many people become millionaires because of trading or holding crypto currencies. The number of this people still small. But crypto currencies is really helping many people around the world to earn their living and pay their bills. Its also helping many unemployed people.

trading can make us earn if and only we have knowledge on it and we do learn how to read coins value, we should learn how go handle them and make them grew by risking sme sometimes to earn more.

In my opinion, people who became rich by crypto currency are people knew about bitcoin, altcoin and everthing about it quite clearly, always ready to face to risk and have enough money, time and experiences to invest in crypto currency.
However, not everybody interested in crypto and ready to invest; especially in South East Asia, where most of people do not have fully information about bitcoin and anything else so they can not risk thier money to invest it.
Beside, many people just do service thing in crypto currency; it can make money for them but it can not make them becoming millionaire.

couple of my friends are very close to be millionaire, I'm still far but following their path that they walked on. I'm investing little amounts on different alt coins by hoping that some of them will be so valuable later on.

Nobody can become you.
Only the person that the value of the coin was distinguished can become a millionaire.

That's good for you that you have some mentor who can teach you what they did so you can apply the same principles; think big but start small, wanting to become millionaire overnight is a great dream but sadly it will not happen :)

There are so many people who prove this, now we can see many people who have increased the wealth they have after knowing bitcoin. this is the systemic impact generated by bitcoin. with the bitcoin so many people are easy to invest and this impact on increasing the income earned every month. I am part of this, now I can get more money than working as a manager every month. this is a reality and if there are people who do not believe then please have a discussion with me, especially about what I've got up to now.

Yes of course you can be a millionaire but it is only possible when you have a lot of fund to invest for example with a skills and good strategy on trading then it will happen that you become reach.

I don't think so :)). If one person earns about 0.1 BTC in a day there will be 2 other persons lose 0.5 BTC in the same day because hacked, gambling, dice or lost in trading and so on. You will become a millionaire with Bitcoin only when you can accept the risk and catch the right time to invest or trade. One out of my friend killed himself by jumping down from a bridge because he lost about 200k$ because of trading :(

Well you are correct in some point that crypto world is making people milionaires all over the world but also there are a lot of people that lost a bunch of money so the balance is still there and will be there no matter the price of bitcoin will be. My advice is don't invest right now in alts only in good ICO's cause bitcoin is really big now and soon a correction will appear. Just my thoughts tho.

This is a very sad story. I'm sorry your friend and whom he will not give up 200k dollars. Unfortunately people do not understand what bitcoin don't grow on trees and to earn at the exchange, someone has to lose. Bitcoin is a good thing but it attracts a lot of Amateurs who in the pursuit of profit can lose your head and be left without a livelihood.

I am glad to see the poor helped by crypto currency, nobody died of hunger. I am always excited about making money with bitcoin because the price is rising. I am also grateful to have known bitcoin, my family has been helped by the crypto currency.

For those who bought tons of btc earlier when it is at least worth somewhere in $500 may become millionaires. That is, if they save and keep on hodling every single coin and not sell til 2020. It also depends on btc's price during that time. There are lots of factors to consider for them to really become one of the lucky ones and be a millionaire. 2020 is more than 2 years from now and we cannot guarantee that majority of holders can hodl that long. Not to mention the case of hacked wallets/accounts or lost and forgotten privkeys.

My personal thought is, that people who invested and believed early in bitcoin are rich now. Today it is still possible to get a millionaire in cryptocurrency, but it will be hard work from now on. In a few years when everybody are into the crypto market, it is nearly impossible to get a millionaire then, because the price will not be so volatile as is right now.

What you are saying is what I'm thinking, the present value does not say that they are millionaires. As events in china prove that, too many investors buy bitcoin at high prices and have to cut losses at low prices.

Most newbie post this kind of topic, they don't even know how the price of the coin is rising or falling.

Bitcoin itself is not making people rich, it doesn't even generate anything to produce wealth so if someone earn from a trade it means that another loss something too. But still bitcoin has a potential on helping the economy of countries.

Indeed, a certain coin will become stable and strong if there are investors that will pour investments for a certain coin then if no investors the coin will become weak and crap because of no investment pouring in. These millionaires have now the power to pump and dump a certain coin of their choice because they have the monetary resources at their disposal but that if this 2020 stastistic is true.

If you'll think of it a bit you'll see that it is not necessarily so.

For example, Trader#1 bought BTC at $5,000 to sell it when the price goes up. Then 1,000,000 people around the world who have never been dealing with Bitcoin previously decided to buy some BTC after reading some positive news about it. Suppose they don't have a lot of spare money, so they buy $100 or $200 worth of BTC, not more. But since there many of them the price goes up because of their demand and reaches $5,500 eventually and at that point the Trader#1 sells the BTC which he bought previously at $5,000.

So, we have a million people who have their fractions of BTC which will rise in the future most likely so they are happy and we have the Trader#1 who has made 10% profit. Nobody lost anything.

You only see the price of bitcoin rising, but you don't see much volatility in the price of bitcoin.
Many investors are already in the period of high prices to buy in COINS, but soon prices fell sharply, investors short because cannot afford the price is too low and selling, suffered considerable losses.

Yes, maybe not all bitcoin users will become millionaire by 2020, it is just 3 years in the making. Bitcoin price for that may have increased but that will not mean all users have enough bitcoin with equivalent million in fiat. Not all have been holding bitcoin for their own, there are some who always  go to buy and sell, which sometimes lose with their decisions.

Not all. But you can say, new millionaires.That would be fine.We can expect new millionaires who have good vision and can able to pick up the good coins and hold them for life. But to the other side of the coin, there is some bad too as we could see people believing in scams and get a loss for it.

I really agree with you. most of the beginners speak very easily. the fact is not that it will happen. I do not know what the OP is thinking. there is nothing easy to collect bitcoin. all of it through various processes and certainly related to experience and knowledge.

It's kinda crazy if you think they are millionaires, because the truth is that they're crypto millionaires (I know some stores and places accept bitcoin as payment method). They will be real millionaires if they sell their bitcoins and exchange to fiat currency what most of them don't usually do. If btc holders sell their coins all at the same time, we also gotta have buyers that buy from them all at the same time, so that just won't work, and even if we have buyers enough to do that, price will keep the same theorically right? With btc rising everyday it will be more common new millionaires appear and maybe someday when bitcoin is worth 100k usd, you just have to own 10 of them to be the new one.

It really feels great to hear that around 2020 millionaires around the world are  been made through bitcoin and crypto currency platform. Well it  should be more than thousand, as i have read in an online article about this topic. People are really making amazing money on their investment. And this wont be possible if there were no support from many bitcoin information websites, Blogs,communities Sites and even this forum (bitcointalk.org). I don't know about the people currently who will become future millionaires because of crypto currency but I very well kniw that the people who bought bitcoin when bitcoin was introduced are currently very rich I can't tell whether they are millionaires or not but they probably are very rich for now.

The market cap of Bitcoin increases only because people are pumping more money into it. It isn't generating any cashflows or doing any services that actually produces real value, so right now it's just a financial instrument. Financial instruments pretty much just distribute wealth, so for every guy that becomes a millionaire there's other people giving him the money.

Yes, we don't know how old he/she were when they invented Bitcoin, but on the other hand, it wasn't long time ago so probably he/she is okay now. The question wasn't about whether this person became millionaire because it is obvious that that happened 4 years ago, we are contemplating on the possibility of becoming a billionaire lately.

bitcoin does make people become millionaires but not all. there is also a long plunge in bitcoin but did not produce anything. nowadays bitcoin is getting famous, but there's always a problem, at start from china which forbids bitcoin now indonesia also forbid.

These bans are just signs of maturation. Really, there's no going back. There's huge dissatisfaction around the world with the current monetary system and that isn't just going to dissapear.

Belief systems and emotions happen in the same part of the brain. Reason why most people consider a questioning of beliefs a personal attack to their intelligence.
Comfort, security and fear is regulated by the reptilian part of the brain which is the most primitive part. Anything that dares provoke its box of illusions will be met with direct attacks.

I cannot say that I would become millionaire by 2020 but I will just claim it, anyway dreaming is free. ;)  It is very possible especially to people who works their entire life with bitcoin.  But if by 2020 and I have saved a good amount of bitcoin, then maybe I can say and hopefully I will be one of the millionaires by 2020.

Well its not really bad to dream, but I'm sure that you are capable of becoming a millionaire because you have a Hero account and it the trends continue for bitcoin signature in 2 years time you will achieved close to millions. And you have stressed out a good point as well in working bitcoin your entire life, because it you did there's no way that you won't become a millionaire with the way bitcoin is currency rising.

Indeed, not all of the current bitcoin investors will become millionaires in the future, but the ones that have the patience hold, and wait for years to come in the future. Investing in bitcoin need patience because without you might sell your bitcoin every time there is drop in bitcoin price caused market correction. Yes of course crypto currency especially bitcoin have made people millionaires because the price of bitcoin grew from 5 dollars to almost more than 7000 dollars. Now you can imagine that the first investors have made a lot of money and now they are the riches people in their communities.

You do know right there are number of issues and disagreements going on with segwit,block-size fork etc.The market is highly unstable,BCH is taking over,other shitcoins are gaining a value.No one really knows what the future is holding for crypto.It is not predictable at all!!

Everyone can be a millionaire if they dont sell/spend their bitcoin, i regret spending my last bitcoin, and by the way bitcoins price now is $9500 which is sad because i spend mine a week ago.

I agree with this. Not all people who invested in cryptocurrencies could be a millionaire because not all coins could make their value times 100 or 300 by 2020. Some will still remain at the bottom. It all depends on what coin you invest in. So if you invest in a promising coin, then big chance you will become a millionaire by that time.

It might probably not be until 2020 before we have people being made millionaires through bitcoin, ordinary people are being made millionaires day by day all to bitcoin. It all depends on your skill and capabilities; I was reading an article in an online journal the other day on how a man invested 2000 pounds into bitcoin trading in February and in November he already made 800,0000 pounds at a point I marveled but a later come to the realisation that in bitcoin any thing can happen within the shortest period of time. I do not think so, because bitcoins price today are too much expensive and as what my finance teacher says the higher the value in the market will be the higher the fall they will be and there will always have a fall no matter what happens. But i am sure that by now there are almost a lot of people that are a millionaire because of the bitcoins price going $10k and a lot of my friends also are a millionaire because they have been here for years so they have saved a lot.

This is so valid. Those individuals who hold crypto like BTC in couple of years back they wind up millionaires now. Since Crypto's cost is shaky and they are evolving ordinary. What's more, a large portion of the crypto's esteem is raising so high that who hold some coin they wind up plainly moguls after a few years.

It's all about the dedication how better you excel with crypto currency to become a millionaire. Every body cannot be a millionaire even in 2020 who opt bitcoin. Intelligence in analyzing the market trends, understanding the trade metrics, various nodes, study of subject can lead to be a millionaire and there are even many loosers who lost in crypto due to lack of knowledge. Even yes it is making people rich all over the world but for people who learns to safe play deserve reaching that goal.

In crypocurrency world you not always win, sometime you lose everything and you will have to start with 0 balance because there are a lot of risks out there in this world. Not all though, some people may have been too unlucky to sell a coin for the lower price then later finds out that the coin actually bursts through the roofs, like bitcoin, you can never be a millionaire or rather a successful investor or holder unless you actually take the risks of being one.

Actually I am still pretty new in bitcoin, but getting money is easier in crypto compared to any other investments, at least based on my own experience
