In your opinion, what coins suffered the most during the past btc bull run?  What coins are most undervalued at this time?

I wouldn't recommend to buy any altcoins during btc bull run. The trick is to buy them just before cash moves from bitcoin to altcoin market. In such case, you will buy them at the dip. Now you can buy literally any altcoin that is not a scam and you will profit from it when market stabilizes

All the major altcoins will rise after two coming forks. Do not hurry, you can buy them in lower prices soon. Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, Waves and Stratus are good choices with very low risk and good potential

nothing really looks good at the moment to be honest. i was actually checking coinmarketcap today. multiple times. and i can only see RED all around the market, everything is dropping and they keep on dropping without showing any signs of recovery. and we are now BEFORE the fork!

after the fork or the day of the fork may be very different though. if the current bitcoin rally is indeed because of the fork then by that day it must stop and even drop. (remember that is a big IF). so that day the prices of altcoins may recover since people go back to them. which one will get the most pump is impossible to tell right now but i will make sure to watch the "volumes" to try and predict it.

Coins that suffered the most and those that are undervalued arent one in the same generally. There could have been an overvalued coin that suffered the most but by no means is undervalued anymore. Taking a quick look at

some of the graphs that are present I would place my bet on those that marketcaps have reduced by 50% or more and then further looking into which one of those has active development and community. These signs to me

point and indicate a strong coin whereas if those are lacking to me it indicates a weaker coin. Try and find strong coins and you will beautiful after the fork.

Verge and SIAcoin are great coins to look at in my opinion, they're both down considerably and could see rises of over 100% if they can get anywhere near to their previous levels.

Almost all the Altcoins are down right now due to the increase in Bitcoin's price and the fork. So we can say that most of the coins are undervalued at this time and it will be a good deal of investment to put your money into Alts now. You must invest your money into potential coins as they will be the first ones to increase in price after the fork. Coins like ETH, NEO, OMG, LTC, XRP etc... are some good potential coins which might increase quickly in price when the fork is done. I suggest you to invest 75% into Alts and keep 25% for future.

I think people should not buy altcoin at this time and should buy it on the 25th because the bitcoin price may drop slightly and all altcoin will be pump. My advice is to invest in ETH, ZEC, ETC because you will make a good profit

I can't see any alts having a potential of good market as of now, everyone is dropping so I suggest better wait after the said fork to happen and see which alts will likely to have positive outcome because right now it's too risky to choose and invest unless you are confident enough that your chosen one will be successful. I think we should not be into rush investing at this moment.

For now just HOLD Bitcoin. I prefer buy alts after fork. Or maybe on Oct 25th. First time i will buy more ethereum. Also watching waves and others.

Any coin facing the fork aspect will dip most likely so gains will be wiped or costly for holding to much of any coin for short term purposes.
Would wait till after and wait for small gains before dipping into the deep end on any altcoin.

Now you can buy any coins. They all fell significantly when the price of bitcoin went up sharply. It is best to buy those coins that you consider reliable and which you already know

I'll say so best to wait for the drop of bitcoin and invest to the maximum in ETH, waves and dash.

If you have to buy any alts then buy Monero for long term profit, security and privacy!

The best altcoin to buy right now is Ethereum, there are good options too like Monero or Dash (because they are -15% at the moment) and maybe some Golem and ZRX, but it is a little bit more risky because they are under $0,20 each one. Make your own conclusions, there are so many options on the market you only have to see what alts you can afford to buy.
But i would buy some ethereum, they are the most profitable no matter what.

Thank you for your answers  :D I have part of my btc on some exchanges prepared to buy alts around 24-25. I'll definitely buy eth, ltc and xmr. Pay is looking a bit undervalued so it'll be my riskier bet. I am a long term holder, just want to make some extra btc via fork and I' don't believe in btc gold.

I like ETH, OMG, NEO and I am thinking about LINK. I hope BTC has one last major run up and altcoins drop another 10-20% so there is one last very cheap buy. Because nearly everyone predicts an altcoin party after 25th, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes some more time. Why? Because the whales tend to scare the market to be able to get everything even cheaper.

Etherum and waves probably give you some posibilities to get some extra dollars thanks to their last "work" on market and development.

PIVX and CRAVE are good buys right now.

Yes for ethereum and not for the waves platform because waves already lost its interest form the investors caused by the investors are seeing another better project than waves itself like universa will try to kick waves ass.

No one. just hold ur bitcoin, but if you bought in high then just sell it out and get some dollar and buy again in low price.

I see doge coin and redd coin start losing its price after a hard fork in august yesterday which has been throwing more than half its price. so i am a little hesitate after hard fork in this month whether the two coins will be able to survive.

I might buy some new coins after the fork. I'm looking at getting maybe more XMR, ETH and LTC. For the newer coins, I'm thinking of getting the new Electroneum when it hits exchanges on Nov.1. The team behind it looks solid and it can be one of my new long hold coins.

The obvious choices would be ltc and eth (imo). Neo is also up there. But then there are other less known choices. One of my favorite newcomers is ZenCash. I invested quite a bit, looking to buy more to do some staking. Also SysCoin. Was on the ropes about vertcoin a few days ago and the fact that it jumped like crazy before I actually had the chance to buy depressed me a bit. Will be buying it soon though.

You are looking at it from the wrong perspective, yes altcoins are related to bitcoin but they are not the same thing, to try to find what alts preformed better and which performed worst is a waste of time, find alts that are promising and that have a good development team, right now all alts are very cheap compared to a few months ago so any alt is a good buy at this moment you just need to find the right one.

Almost all altcoins are further dropping today, so this is a nice time to buy some alts.
I just bought some ETH and LTC, both coins have potential and are being further developed constantly

Actually any altcoin would be good, because what the whales are trying to do is pump bitcoin as much as they can and then they are starting to dump it just before the fork, they don't care for bitcoin gold, they care about getting profits and that's what they are trying to do. Create multiple artificial scarcities in this case. First for bitcoin and after the fork you're going to see that happening to altcoins, altcoins are going to go high this time and the whales will be benefited the most. This does seems to be a possible theory that big investors can be thinking of doing. So grace yourselves people.

I think you can't miss, every altcoin will go up. My top 3 are NEO, OMG, Kyber.

Two coins that will will make profit, after all the money from the fork flows into altcoins are waves and ardor for sure. Ethereum will also rise up :)

I would say to pick up some of the obvious choices ... ETH, WAVES, OMG, NEO.

You could also get crazy and pick up some of the up and coming projects tokens (higher risk of course) -- MUSIC, FLO and FUN (just had a large burn).

I bought before OMG and NEO. I didn't buy a lot because I really think we are in a bear market for alts right now. I think they will fall even more when the next fork comes. As long as BTC is unstable alts are dropping, regardless if BTC shoots up or down. I am happy with the amount of my altcoins right now, if they dip a lot I will add some positions there. My gem which salvages all my losses is smartcash. I am up x8 in this one.

I would say BTX and SMART at the moment, are both great plans in that way.

This is correct but with the only difference that I think this is not going to happen after the bitcoin gold fork I think that is going to happen after the segwit2x fork, the whales are going to try to pump bitcoin as high as they can and I do not think they are going to miss the opportunity to do all of this again and pump the price even further than its current level.

Before the fork usually bitcoin will goes uo and people buying it. But if you insist to buy alt coin you should buy alt coin which is mined not ico alt coin or token erc20. Because the price will goes down further untill hard fork happened. I sggest you to buy vert coin or lite coin for this hard fork time.

By just looking at the price of bitcoin, it is very obvious to me that most people bought bitcoin before the fork and are now selling everything to get even more bitcoin, however for the smart investor this is the perfect time to buy some altcoins, ETH is the safest choice, even if the price of ETH is still above 300 dollars when you look at the price of bitcoin then the only conclusion we can make is that ETH is very cheap and as such is a great buy.
