Well, this is rather convenient. Do you want do buy or to sell crypt? Actually, there's no difference — the system is the same, anyway. Whoever wants to buy or sell the asset, places a bet (bid or offer) into the system. I saw Coinplace announcing hidden dashboards for bigger pool deals but here we're talking about the open part.

So, when there is a match between the two sides, i.e. buyer and seller, the deal is done. Technically, the one who has crypt on his/her hands, places it in a custody (escrow). And the other side transfers fiat. When fiat is received, the "crypt" side unlocks the escrow.

Are there any differences between you and the competition?

And what are the guarantees that I will receive crypto after transferring fiat?

We certainly expect Coinplace to differentiate from existing players. First of all, we, unlike the majority of the existing platforms, do not limit ourselves to any specific cryptocurrency. Our systems allows to cross offers in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero and other key coins. But beyond that — we create a multi-token environment where all existing crypto assets can be traded.

It is locked in a decentralized custody. I.e., it's a smart contract that is delivering to you upon confirmation of the fiat payment. It is interesting to see what happens if the other side is commiting a fraud and tries to escape without paying. First, they won't be able to get the crypt back, second, there's an arbitrary board that may decide to unlock the pledge in case you provide sufficient proof that the payment took place (like receipt or like that).

In addition to that, we accept a variety of payment methods and means, from fiat bank wire to PayPal and othe online wallets.

Our internal system will be stimulating the actively trading participants for lower price offerings. We have developed this motivation strategy in order to narrow spreads and speed up matching.

[/quote]There are no constraints. It depends on set of options in each country. For example, you may use PayPal  everywhere. Using private chats and dashboards you may discuss any form of exchange, including banking wires and cash transactions.

We are following all country specific legislation. Coinplace doesnot get involved in trading and provides no platform or place for such. From the business point of view, we are a marketplace that serves interest of all counterparties and uses its abilities to improve conditions for peer-to-peer deals. We are closely monitoring all regulations and restrictions and never brake any laws. Swaps that are made are direct exchange operations between our clients, and unless directly prohibited, they don't violate general principles of free trade and exchange. Obviously, there are certain risks in the area and we, for example, recommend everyone to act in full accordance with local tax regime and remain within the taxation framework. All deal are held at the customer's discression. The system may guarantee you from the other party's unfair behaviour, thus in case all conditions are met, the deal will proceed.

Yeah... I believe that some government have gone pretty harsh over this crypto theme. You have to watch out for possible claims. And in many areas this is definetely not for legal entities, only for individuals :(

The time of locking up depends on the conditions of the deal, exposed by the seller. It can be from 40 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the chosen type of payment.

CoinPlace acts as the guarantor of p2p exchange between the participants of transactions.
The service will lock up crypto currency funds until the transaction is confirmed by the seller and the buyer. In case of a dispute, the funds are not returned to the parties to the transaction until they reach a mutual agreement. If the parties do not reach an agreement, either party may fill a request for consideration of the transaction by the platform's arbiter.
The disputed transaction is moderated by the platform arbiter. Its task is to request a set of data from each of the users to make a decision about whether the payment of fiat money was made. The result of the dispute is the transfer of digital assets to one of the parties, as well as a change in the rating of the party guilty of arbitration.

Was at some major crypto conf yesterday, everybody is talking falling success rate. Over 40% ICOs in September failed to collect even soft caps, and in October they were over 60%. It looks like now the market is wiped from weak players, while "grand whales" of issuers are slowly gaining pace.

This seems like a solid concept but it wont have a good chance to work. Its all well-known, I have had similar projects in the past and can tell that all that crap is just for eggs. Its nothing more than a rip-off from other few hundreds fiat -crypto gateways, and none of those third-world centralized services could last more than a week or two.

2. How can I cancel my deal with a seller?
After you have chosen a seller, typed in the sum and pressed Submit Request under the comments line, you are taken to the page detailing the deal process. There you will see the button “Cancel” on the left. Your deal will be cancelled as soon as you press the button.

3. Can I get my money back if I have already transferred it to the seller?

7. How can I find my wallet?
On CoinPlace.pro:

Several days ago I had the misfortune of creating an account on this exchange and deposing Substratum to my account. Due to other issues, I was not able to deposit BTC to pay for the selling fees,  and when I attempted to withdraw my Substratum I ran into several problems that are a cause for concern.

This exchange requires you to upload sensitive documents to verify your identity, otherwise you have a daily withdraw limit of $100 USD. This fact was not made clear when signing up for the exchange, and I do not trust CoinPlace's security measures to be sufficient enough to keep my personal information secure.

There is also the fact that their "Terms and Conditions" state that some jurisdictions are restricted from using CoinPlace, but they do not include which jurisdictions are restricted.

I no longer wish to use this exchange, but my funds are being withheld from me unless I willingly upload highly sensitive documents to a website with highly questionable security. Coinplace lacks basic security measures, has a terrible UI, lacks some of the most basics features standard among other exchanges, and after trying twice to contact their support I was unable to get through or receive any assistance.

I fear that this exchange is a scam, and that my funds are gone. I have sent an email and a message to them on this forum, but I have received no response.

I'm not able to withdraw even below 100USD and didn't get any confirmation from my KYC. The admin doesn't reply on Telegram but keeps on spamming on this forum. This exchange is surely a SCAM!

The exchange is indeed a scam. 2+ weeks of waiting for kyc to be verified, 1 month+ since I sent a support email, and no response on telegram. They also keep changing the address for their business on their website. Use an internet archive to see older versions of the site.
