I predict the price of bitcoin gold will reach 600 $ ,,, I strongly support the presence of bitcoin gold, this is a very good altcoin and has a great chance for success like bitcoin. and this is not a garbage altcoin,

In my opinion only. The stable price of bitcoin gold will be in 100- 200$. I saw now in coinmarketcap that traders, investors now are dumping its price in trade market. So there is chance that btc gold is the-same like Zcash that in the first release of this altcoin its price is so high then after a week its price goes down in an instant.

Yes me too Bitcoin Gold is just better than any other altcoin. Sorry for them dumping Bitcoin Gold =)

I voted for 100 - 199 only because it is the safest guess I can make. But with how the developers handled the pressed hard fork, with no fully formed consensus code, no replay protection and no testing, it can go under $100.

Ask yourself, who are the developers behind it and why do they want to have a premine of 100,000 BTG?

I'd say it will probably stabilize around 0,02 BTC just because of how many people know/talk about it. I don't really have a lot of faith on this coin.

If a day before the appearance of bitcoin gold, it traded on the Yobit exchange with the exchange rate set at $ 460, and in a few hours at the bittrex exchange for $ 166, then, given its significant vulnerabilities, its rate will not be high today level of 100 - 200 dollars.

its hard to say if bitcoin gold can grow with same thing that happen with yobit maybe 100-200 $ would be the point from now,
 its the support coming from traders that will bring the value to rise.

I cannot give a sharp price prediction but I will only sell @ $700. If the price won't reach that mark, I'll probably just hold the coin for long term (same as with my bitcoin cash)  ;D Anyway, is anybody here using Ledger Wallet H.W.? Well, interestingly PBC in their Ocotber issue predicted that BTG has likely more staying power than the Segwit2x hard fork, which may not happen at all.

Contrary to that, my own view is that BTG will, after a quick sell-off linger as a low cap altcoin as development is happening very slowly. With the November hard fork, it's harder to say how it will turn out, but I predict higher BTC volatily in it's wake.

I am not too enthusiastic about this one, and i suspect a lot of people aren't  too. I expect the price to drop, and keep dropping until it is less than $10. So I am voting 1-99. This is a coin/fork driven by greed and it seems the community sees right through the team behind it.

I am bullish on bitcoin gold after seeing bitcoin cash's success. I think it will have big market cap and price will raise around $300-400 in a week. It just needs people to finish dumping free coins.

it is hard to answer because we don't know what will happen later but i think maybe the price of bitcoin gold will closest like bitcoin cash or less or more. i don't think that bitcoin gold will be more good than bitcoin cash because only time that will tell what will be going on in the future. so i think we can only follow the price while we can still make the profit from bitcoin gold and i guess that we all making more money from the coins.

Yes. I just read that Bitcoin Gold is near to creationg of Bitcoin itself. Much better and enhance.

I do not expect much from BTG because I can not identify who is developing this altcoin and the BTG community where. I have sold all BTG as soon as I received because BTG really has no potential in my opinion

It's hard to predict the current market, but I think a lot of people are going to sell btg earlier this month. I am sure its price will be dump. My prediction is $100-299, only the market can determine it later.

It will not reach even 100$ for sure, people never like to keep free money. They will dump it and buy more BTC and hold BTC if they want.

There is not so much value and of course usage compared to original BTC. With bitcoin cash was different story with uncertanity and fear because of first fork bitcoin. Righ now btc is strong and stable

I think it has potential grow to 600 dollars but in my opinions its price will be lower maybe half this.

I think that with the announcement that on 1st November still users will not be able to exchange their coins, plus all the suspicious with the code and developers, I am afraid it will goes under 100 $ and stay there at least since they don't present a Hard Cap and bit more of trusting evidences that is not just a short way to make easy fast money.

BTG will drop drastically... maybe around 50$ or less.. and it will be forgotten forever and ever.

A third? If b2x becomes true and that could be the fourth. That's bad as the bitcoin was the major crypto currency just like to born shit coin anytime. I hope this just another rumour but as you can see many people are talking about that

I think it wont go above BCH price maybe it will pump for some hours or days then it will going to dump hard

My personal target for Bitcoin Gold is around 100 USD.

It seems like there is no real adoption for this coin. Some days after the fork nobody seems any longer interested in this one. Right after Trex will deposit BTG to its users and Trezor will offer an official claim feature, price will heavily struggle imho.

I voted 1-99$. There is no way on earth bitcoin gold could goes above $200 why ? Because bitcoin gold is just anithe alt coin but it is using name bitcoin infront. I believe it will goes down further. Especially before segwit2x hard fork. After hard fork maybe it will goes up little bit

I vote 1-99$ i dont have much trust to this coin. The real hard fork is segwit2x not this coin

all need a process to develop is no exception for BTG.
this time the price dropped dramatically because there are still many BCH enthusiasts than BTG.
let's see after 3 months maybe it could touch $500.

It will be interesting to see how 2X affects the price as well. Personally I will be hodling for the next half year or so

I have been thinking how bitcoin gold will be as it is not as popular as  bitcoin Cash. I have read several comments on reddit how many People  are saying that bitcoin gold is governments taking over of blockchain technology but I doubt if this is truth and I am expecting a strong resistance against this from cryptocurrencies industry enthusiast.  I think bitcoin gold price will be below $500 except there is a reason which we may not know now that may influence it's market capitalization in the near future. Moreso,  bitcoin gold has not making any serious publications about this sigwith2x activation and this is a sign that bitcoin gold is not going to be as popular as bitcoin Cash.

hey man the price is already 150$ and i guess that only 20% hold their btc on supported exchanges at snapshot time and could already trade for btc, at least half of the people from that 80% will claim their free money by selling btg asap

If you have BTG and did not sell it currently it is 71.66% up  $288.19  and Bitcoin Cash (BCH)  $996.86 (38.52%)

Any prediction on how high both of this coins will go?

its the same like btc cash and it will perform the same, btc fork coins will succeed like btc itself, that´s math and safer than any altcoin, esitmated value in most of the time is 350 usd, it will touch 1000 usd from fork to fork

The answer is easy, both BTG and BCH are the copies of BTC. So why shall they be valuable in the eyes of blockchain community? I don't see any reason for this. These days are the good days for thoe forks, because traders didn't sell their fork coins yet.

Bitcoin gold is a shit coin and most of them know that by now. But the thing is stupid people pumped it whilst it was listed on hitbtc,not on bittrex,the price went till like 0.1BTC ,and people started thinking that BTG is legit and crap. The heck is wrong with people and their brains,seriously. :o And then what happened,people bought it and boom ,it got dumped real bad. Got to feel sad for those people.

For a while ,the price of Bitcoin Gold is going to hover around 0.02-0.04 BTC to the max,can't expect more from it.

Its not like it was as good as bitcoin cash's potential. Sorry but the truth always spears through the heart. You can either wait for another pump which should be anytime between the next 6 months,or you can just sell it if you want to avoid any loss for the moment,not recommended though. Don't worry though,you're not the only one who spent on bitcoin gold,a lot ,I mean hell a lot of people did invest but at different circumstances,some did benefit exceptionally due to the time factor while the others lagged behind. And sadly I believe you belong to the latter. Deal with it now,that's all you can do.
