Title: Antminer s9 connection help Post by: bill121 on October 27, 2017, 08:53:54 AM Hi finally got my Antminer up and running yesterday and confirmed it is too loud to run through the night. Can have it on during the day u til I sell it though so I thought I would run it 12 hours a day until then.
My problem is when I restarted the miner today I can't get it to start.mining. it keeps resetting every few minutes the same as it did when I had the mining pool details wrong. I've tried the reset method from the miner software and also hard resetting from miner and re-entering details. However none of these fix the problem. Quick update. - I can now get the miner to mine with the addresses that come prefilled on the config page but every time I try to switch to the correct pool and worker it stops mining. I recommend you a IP scanner like NMAP, so you can discover what is the current IP set in the miner. Got the miner switched off now but the addresses I was using are the ones from antpool - stratum.antpool.com:3333 stratum.antpool.com:443 stratum.antpool.com:25 I've hard reset the miner a few times and same problem each time. 100% sure the addresses were correct at least one of times I tried. you really should sell you miner. it will not last long with 12 hours on 12 hours off. Yeah I think that's probably the way to go ive left it off for now till I can get it somewhere permanent for it or sell it. :( |
