Hi finally got my Antminer up and running yesterday and confirmed it is too loud to run through the night. Can have it on during the day u til I sell it though so I thought I would run it 12 hours a day until then.

My problem is when I restarted the miner today I can't get it to start.mining. it keeps resetting every few minutes the same as it did when I had the mining pool details wrong. I've tried the reset method from the miner software and also hard resetting from miner and re-entering details. However none of these fix the problem.

Quick update. - I can now get the miner to mine with the addresses that come prefilled on the config page but every time I try to switch to the correct pool and worker it stops mining. It then takes a few resets to get it back mining on the prefilled adresses

I recommend you a IP scanner like NMAP, so you can discover what is the current IP set in the miner.

After that, if you have the correct credentials everything must go smooth.

good luck

It'd help if you posted a screen shot of the "bad" addresses that don't work, so we can see if you're entering something wrong.

Got the miner switched off now but the addresses I was using are the ones from antpool -
stratum.antpool.com:3333
stratum.antpool.com:443
stratum.antpool.com:25

I've hard reset the miner a few times and same problem each time. 100% sure the addresses were correct at least one of times I tried.

auto tune can take a really long time  to start.

you really should sell you miner.

it will not last long  with 12 hours on 12 hours off.
