Hi All,

After Bitcoin Gold, Segwit2 is coming on Nov, are we going to get another free coin from Bitcoin fork?

These are just shitcoins, gosh people we've really just got to learn to not engage with these new shitcoins and then we wouldn't have any more of these. If more and more people get involved to just to try to make a quick buck, then more and more of these forks are going to come out of it.

If more and more forks come, then we just have news and more news stories talking about hardforks which Bitcoin doesn't need.

The way this fork happens this day with shameless rapidity is becoming something else. The first time was two months interval while the expected November Sigwit2 will be happening within a month later. Who knows, the next might be two weeks apart. Yet, coins from these forks haven't been able to compete with Bitcoin, the crypto-general.

According to the news, there will be such a fork, a stock exchange that will give you free coins, follow the announcements of the stock exchanges.

Well, I don't really care about free coin, all I want is that Bitcoin price will go up before the fork, and Altcoins will go up after the fork. That's what I aimed for these opportunities.

Fork on the bitcoinchain usually bring with it wild swing of bitcoin price. This time around there is a possibility of chain split. Be safe.

Its actually very confusing for these kind of forking... There will be too many BTC 1234567.....

All says the new one is the best bitcoin. And its just like creating money from nothing by keep forking...

I don't like n version of bitcoin and i think splitting may be cause some problems in the future. But bitcoin should opposite bad and good situations to come stronger every time.

so what? let it be the worst altcoin of all times, what would that change? we are in the trading discussion board which means even the worst altcoin is a potential choice for trading. and altcion market is filled with rubbish like this. look at ETH which is the biggest altcoin around with so many hardcore, hot headed supporters! it is the one of the worst altcoins that ever existed. there have been lots of hacks and bugs in the code itself and in their official wallets leading to millions of dollars lost. but people still happily trade it to get more bitcoin.

BTG is no different. you got $115 for each bitcoin you owned for doing nothing. if you were fast enough you could have gotten nearly $1000 per BTG which many did on Yobit!

not to mention all the pump and dumps that these coins have. like the BCH pump that is going on right now. all that is profit that a trader can make very easily.

Segwit 2x has created a great expectation among the bitcoin community.Many are expecting free air drops  once again.

If segwit 2x succeeds in getting enough support,then it would replace the legacy chain and it would be considered as the true bitcoin and there would be no free coins.Segwit 2x has majority of miners support almost 85%.

If segwit 2x fails to get support,then there would be a split in the chain and as a result,bitcoin holders may get free coins.

It is also said that hard fork which lead to BCC creation and now segwit 2x activation are all just master plans of chinese big miners to just devalue the brand BTC and instead promote BCC.

Well, it is quite high-priced to be rubbish anyway.

Just like you, I don't like forks. I think they will be negative for Bitcoin reputations. But since they happen and we can get free money with a very little effort, why don't take advantage by this situation, like we did for Bitcoin Cash?

I don't think anything is certain at the moment. There's a big difference between miner signalling and actually going through with it. And even if it does you may not end up with two coins if it doesn't have replay protection.

It's going to be dead interesting to see how it pans out. I think it won't pan out how many are expecting.

It is expected if segwit2 failed to gain enough support from the bitcoin community, but why we are paying attention to these things i think majority of us are good with the existing BTC chain. In past Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold have failed badly because the users rejected to use them instead of BTC.

Now thats everyone should think about the hard fork in first place. Yes, this is what happens after each fork now because the bitcoin is invested a lot during this period in want of getting "equivalent" shitcoin to that of bitcoin they are holding. So obviously people will be selling of alt coins and pumping into the bitcoin. Again this gives opportunity for the alts investors and for those bunnies who are bitcoin investors. This is cool cycle and I like it and always take it in positive way. Hope to see some hikes in the bitcoin price again.

Now BTC price is breaking throught its highest on before Bitcoin Gold fork. Before Segwit2 fork it should be able to go up to $6500 or more. Let's see.

I am a bit fearing the Segwit3x. Hope, everything will run smooth. Will hold Bitcoin, until we know, which way it will go. Also wondering, what new coin would come, if there would be again a split

There was information that in November, bitcoin can independently bifurcate. And one of them will be more as a means of payment, and another - more as a means of storing value. What it leads to is difficult to say. Probably, the original bitcoin will take on the function of storing values. Another has not even been named yet.

There's little info about it. But as I know, they are asking for the whole bitcoin community to go with segwit2x and make just one blockchain of bitcoin rather than having two chains. And people seem to be divided about it.

i think if there is any coins is release, then we can get another free coins and we can that coins to make more money for our life. I heard that we have to see bitcoin silver later but I am not sure when the times will come to take bitcoin silver.

and I think in future, there is many hard fork that will happen and maybe we can see many clone of bitcoin but people will choose the original of bitcoin as their investment.

2x hard fork can be dengerous for all btc network,do not make transactions during fork and some time after.I ve been reading 2x guys may even attack btc network.If will be more that forks we will have ultmate btc done,his name will be btc crash

Very dangerous, as the 2x side has the miner support and considers itself the TRUE bitcoin, so they will not have replay protection. It will cause a lot of tears from unwary BTC users as they will spend the same amount of coin on both chains.

With the majority of miners attacking the smaller chain becomes trivial, if it happens it will force the core devs to change the proof of work algorhythm, which could very well be the 2x side's final objective as they will be closer to bitcoin than segwit. Nearest contender for the title will be BCH though, as it doesn't have segwit.

These guys have huge amount of cash to burn, so we might experience severe price drops until the dust clears and a winner emerges.

There will always be bitcoin forks, it's normal. The market will decide which one lives or dies and the market are the users.

Do you have a serious source about possibility of 2x hack? One, that also non-techies would understand? Maybe I should exchange half of my Bitcoin to alts instead of 25%.

I don't think any developer will give a name Bitcoin Silver on the new hard fork coin. It could be something that better that gold like platinum, etc... This segwit2 might be named Bitcoin2x.
