I think satoshi nakamoto will be in the top 10 richest person in this world. But how they count this richest status??

It is possible to happen in the future if Bitcoin continues to grow in the coming years. Well, as of now it is very proud feeling that someone associated with Bitcoin is on the richest people list. They consider the net valuation of every wealth associated with the person while determining the rank in this list. We don't have any information about Satoshi other than his Bitcoin wallet addresses and the wealth is calculated based on the Bitcoins held in those wallets.

Woah, that's just insane. I know this is all speculative, and we're mostly basing this off of the rumor that Satoshi has a stash of one million Bitcoins, but it's just stunning how he's climbing up the list of the world's richest just by theoretically holding his theoretical coins. I know that it was not easy coming up and implementing his idea, but other than someone inheriting his parent's money, Satoshi just might be the richest with the fewest amount of work done lol. The guys he's up there with are running their own companies while Satoshi can just sit on his ass all day watching his fortune grow

Wrong, Satoshi might not even have access to those coins and even if he had, then those coins will be worth a lot less. If he
started to sell any of those coins, then the price of bitcoins will plummet and the total amount will be worth a lot less. You cannot be one of the richest people in the world and not be able to spend a cent of that wealth.

...Dead people cannot be on today's rich list. Satoshi died a few years ago.

But guarantee you Satoshi was incredibly proud even a few years ago to see Bitcoin reach escape velocity to the point where there was, and will never be a central point of failure. It would live on, be immutable, open, and retain integrity. Even back then, Satoshi knew what that meant...years into the future.

I don’t think that is accurate, the bitcoin worth is not determined on its value when you’re HODLing it but on the time you sold it. I do believe that Satoshi Nakamoto will even dispose it even gradually because the price will eventually decrease and the bitcoin market cap will change. We can expect that it can’t be sold at this price but on the decreasing end or lower value. The more supply the prices will go down.

How could they include them in the list? No one knows who he is
But they know how rich he is? How could that make any sense?

Estimated to own 980,000 BTC? Is someone here knows that or those wallets that has been used by Satoshi? I'm interested to see it, I can't remember if I saw that before but I'm out of my mind now and want to see it again.
Base on assets, liabilities, net worth, properties, businesses and other profitable source from the people who are going to be on that spot of richest people in the world.

As of now he is surely not but yes there is a possibility that most of his wealth is going unnoticed due to highly anonymous nature of cryptos. Not sure but with increase in value of btc he might come in top 10 soon.

No one really knows where Satoshi Nakamoto really is and what happen to him/her so why in the world saying that he/she is dead, we don't have a specific identification to what is this Satoshi's gender, age, nationality and people only base his/her name to a male Japanese and most of the people in the internet can mask up their names to any other different kind of nationality. One things is for sure that Satoshi Nakamoto made this Bitcoin thing and he got a huge amount of Bitcoin with his/her wallet and we can't do anything about it but to stare and wish to have it.

If someone can track Satoshi Nakamoto's bitcoin wallets, I think he is not in the pseudonym of "Satoshi Nakamoto" today and he is been identified in his or their real name. We all know that bitcoin wallets don't have their names on it so we can't know who is the owner of that wallet (unless his bitcoin address was specified in his forum account or he posted it notifying people about it).

It is a fact that we don't have even a single clue other than his public wallet addresses but I see this positively. There might be a threat to his life if he is a real person and there might be any huge pressure from the big people/organizations/governments because his invention is cracking the world of centralization and this is causing a huge loss for them who want to control our wealth. It is a positive thing that he is anonymous and still one of the richest person, However, I hope he is safe and has access to his wallets.

Every innovator have patent for his Discover, but bitcoin creator made this in anonymous side.  this is so pathetic.

Somehow I beleive that he is actualy higher on that list because nobody actualy knows how much exactly does it have, these are all speculations. Who has ever seen his wallet and who knows how much he has cashed out from bitcoin. And I'm sure he never even dreamed about getting that rich and having so big success. But if bitcoin continue to rise so high he would become extremly wealthy man.

Satoshi nakamoto is the popular name in online world.he is founder of bitcoin,bitcoin value makes him very popular.he is richest person 100%,bitcoin value is very high.

Right. If those coins move at all, people will know that Bitcoin is not as stable as it is. Satoshi's holdings are cruicial to stay in place because if they don't, all hell will break loose. It's tough to place Satoshi on that list because we don't even know if he's a single person/dead or alive/ anything about him.

What factors do they use to evaluate the list of the richest people in the world? can you send me information  :o

I'm not sure, but I think that if Bitcoin continues to maintain this growth for 3 years, Satoshi Nakamoto will become one of the richest people in the world.

Who knows? I don't really have an idea, I've seen a wallet before that has thousands of bitcoins and I can't really remember on the exact number of it. I'm guessing that's Satoshi's bitcoin but others are right probably SN did forget also his wallets and just burned it. There are some wallets that has names on it but we really can't find it out on what his own wallet, he's totally genius and anonymous!  ;D

I think maybe included in the top 10 list of richest person if bitcoin continues to accelerate. It already break the $7,000 mark and still surging ahead of fork. Also China announced yesterday that they will open cryptocurrency soon, this will give another boost to btc prices.

The richest stats should update.Last update was in 2009 and what about now.The price of bitcoins almost touching the sky.I think satoshi nakamoto should be in top 10 instead 247th.I am bit confused how do they know about the financial ? Since nakamoto is hiding some where and they know how rich he is.

in just a moment of period of time satoshi nakamoto will be the richest man in the whole world. Satoshi nakamoto is just like sitting on a sofa watching Movies and Having Good time and waiting for the bitcoin Price Goes up. If he is really the creator of Bitcoin he don't need any software at all he just put some codes and generate bitcoin and convert into fiat and then Kaboom RICH GUY.

we don't know who is satoshi nakamoto why he is on the list? we don't know if he is a person or a team name, well if the founder of bitcoin alive until now he just happy for the successful of bitcoin, we don't know he have a millions of bitcoin one of his wallets since the bitcoin was born.

well.. he might be the xxx^th richest person in the world but unless he/she/they sell all of their BTC the value is pretty much 0.
We have BTC and we know the value of it but until you convert it into fiat the value is only on the paper (putting aside shops and company who are accepting BTC as form of payment).
Anyway, if i would have been the creator of something unique, of course i would have tons of my own coins.. and as a creator i would hodl no matter what, it's my creation, my little son who grew from 0 to the world!

i think if satoshi nakamoto is alive right now hes not in the 200+ place he can make atleast lower than 50 place, Because he can manage his profit and make it become bigger and bigger for the help of btcoin in the long run.

I think it is too bad for him because if bitcoin had an unlimited source for mining he could have been the richest man alive and we do not know even if it is a man maybe it is a women because we do not know anything about her or him.

I heard that he has a lot of bitcoins in his pocket. If he sells all the coins bitcoin would suffer a lot. I think he cashed out some of his coins. So now he is living in peace and with money.

Maybe even Satoshi Nakamoto himself is not convinced he is part of that list and wanted to part of those people who are the one he is up to changed. It will always be an speculative discussion when it comes to this man for in the first place we even have no idea if he exist, or if he is they, or even if he is still alive at this moment.

Forbes list of richest person might be accurate and true but to be hiding your identity will make your life better than having the fame that your privacy is not in your control anymore. It’s better to live in peace than thinking if you gonna be kidnapped and killed especially your family.

This is awesome recognition for a Guy that is the creator of the best innovation of the world's future economy Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto is likely to be more richest in the world. I still believe that time will come that he will be known and deserves gratitude for building cryptocurrency that helps to build a new economy that everyone has freedom to earn without government's manipulation.

Based in forums Satoshi has 1 million bitcoin. The question is did satoshi spent all of his bitcoins or not?

Generally we have few information about Satoshi Nakamoto without any kind of proof .

more say he have 5,98% of total bitcoins and other say he have 1 million bitcoin .

only real fact he  can effect in price because bitcoin depend on Simple Demand and Supply law .

I read on twitter that Satoshi owns approximately 8 billion USD as of the moment. Man, whoever he is, he is the man! Ha ha... I wonder what Zuckerberg thinks about Satoshi.

Even the first people here in the forum I think don't hold that much because they couldn't also predict what would really happen to bitcoin way back then because of uncertainty. I think they have earned a lot but not to be a top richest person in the world. Maybe the investors or a manager that holds or earn alot of bitcoin and not spending it until now will be a billionaire I think.

And we don't even know if Satoshi Nakamoto is a person or a group of programmers, We don't know if how many coins he really has.

That report is inaccurate. First they really need to know who Satoshi Nakamoto is. We do not know if it is a person, a group of programmers/hackers, or a group of companies. Some conspiracy theorist are pointing to C.I.A. as the creator of bitcoin. Also assuming that Satoshi Nakamoto is a real living person, how would they know that he did not spend his Bitcoin. We may never know who is the real inventor of Bitcoin but thanks to him we have  an excellent currency that government cannot control.

I hope that Satoshi never sell his 05% of all BTC! Because he can change the price like a storm. The price will increase and Satoshi will be at top 10 list!

How do you know Satoshi is dead? That he hasn't withdrawn from his wallet shouldn't make you make inferences that isn't proven.

I do not fully believe in this report, it could just be a report that is made to enliven the news about satoshi, now what I believe today, satoshi may have spent half of its bitcoin because no one realizes that bitcoin will be this expensive . and really thanks to satoshi we can have a great income

If Bitcoin will continue to rise up to $100K then maybe he will then belong the Top 10 richest Man. If only he owned all the coins then He is the richest Man on earth.

Well as we know that bitcoin is decentralized and no one knows about bitcoin that from where it’s going to operate and who is the owner of bitcoin so same there are different stories moving around abut satoshi some are saying that satoshi is the owner for bitcoin and some are saying no it’s not true so until bitcoin will not disclose to the world so it’s very hard to say something about satoshi.
