Well, here I just want to share a way for Newbie to start becoming a Bounty Hunter at Bitcointalk.org ...
Bounty itself is a gift or reward program given to its workers who can be called a bounty hunter who works to promote the project being built by the founder Coins / Tokens, the main conditions of course must have a bitcointalk.org


1. Sign up an account at bitcointalk.org

2. Increase your bitcointalk level

Bitcointalk level:
a. brand new: newly created account
b. newbie: account that has 1 activity
c. Jr. Member: account that has 30 activity
d. Member: 60 Activity
e. Full Member: 120 activity
f. Sr. Member: 240 activity
g. Hero / Legend: 480 activity

3. Participate in the Bounty program
Each project has different terms and rules for implementing their campaigns, the higher your account level the easier it will be to follow a bounty and earn even more. There is usually a requirement that requires the account agan minimal Jr. Member or even must be a minimum Member to follow their bounty program. So by that I strongly recommend agan to read points number 2.

Types of bounty programs that exist:
a. Campaign Sosmed (FB, Twitter, Telegram)
b. Signature Campaign (Siganature)
c. Youtube Campaign
d. Translation Campaigns
e. Blog Campaign
f. Artwork Campaign (artwork)
and many others, depending on the founder or developer of the Coin / Token who created the bounty program ..

4. What is the potential income?
The answer is unlimited !! Depending on your seriousness in following the bounty program ..
Remember !! the higher the account level the greater the possibility of getting rewards (rewards), the more agan follow bounty program then the more also the results that can agan get agan, and in the old agan follow the bounty program it will be the greater the chance of gifts that you get ...

5. Wallet ETH (support ERC-20 TOKEN)
One of the most frequent and fatal things for a newbie when following a bounty program is to insert ETH wallet from an Exchanger or ETH wallet that does not support ERC-20 Token .. In following the bounty program you must have an ETH wallet that must support ERC-20 Token such as:
a. Myetherwallet.com
b. Metamask.io
c. Parity, etc.

For various reasons I myself wear Myetherwallet.com, and I also strongly recommend it.

The hardest for a newbie is the waiting when trying to go up the ranks. It would take at least 3 weeks to get the jr. rank (which is usually the min. rank to qualify for bounties) so patience is really needed here. But it would be worth it.

Good to know about the rankings, thank you. I have been searching for the bounty programmes and I wonder how do the translation and youtube programmes work. I am going to try hard to get more info about the details.

It's good to know that you summarized the requirements needed to become a bounty hunter. As long as you follow the forum rules then there will be no problem. Just don't spam because there will be a tendency you will be ban temporarily or permanently. Ive been involved in a few bounties on Twitter and Telegram and theyve paid out nicely, however some never pay out and is just an email/information havesting scam. You have to be mindful - its good to get in early and therefore hope to get a bigger cut of the bounty, but that also increases the risk of your backing a dead horse or a pump n dump.

Do your research, dont invest anything you cannot afford to lose, and try not to spam with the same thing over and again - people want to read interesting things and the bounty provider wants to see quality postings etc.

Nope you can made post over then your activity, activity it's like how much point do you have after contribute in this forum Correct me if i wrong.

Thats pretty much it - seems to be time logged in + post count up to a max of +14 over a two week period. So you could write 14 messages in one day and have 14 as activity but then not gain anything further for another two weeks, even if you post loads of messages. I think! I havent done that much, I dont want to spam and definitely do not want to get on the wrong side of the Mods!

Regarding to the later question, yes you can participate some of the signature campaign. They allow newbies like us to participate, you can also use your social media like facebook and tweeter, if you have that both much better. Just go to this section

Nope, absolutely it's hard to find signature campaign accept newbie, because it's easy to build account with newbie rank and also you can try other way to earn without joined the signature campaign.

Actually there is!  But very few.if you are really serious on this matter like the what already said of the person who made this trade you can find.But my my advice to you is extend your patience  for you have already 28 activities and two more you will reach the Jr member. Signature campaign that accepting newbies is really great opportunity but for you because you have already 28 activities, better to wait.

Probably the next point after registaration would be creating a wallet, cause of I see when you participate for a campaign you need to write your wallet number as well. So it is logically that making of personal wallet would be step two. BTW I still didn't open any, so I would like to hear your suggestions :)

Newbies are not still welcome in almost all bounty campaigns. What newbies need to do is to rank up to junior member before joining the bounties. It is also the time to beef up your knowledge on cryptocurrencies so you can be ready to answer any posts.

Nice summary!

I would like to add:
- paper wallets can be a great way to safely store your wallet, offline & unhackable
- do not share your private keys unless you really have them. Treat them as you internet banking password. If you think it is compromised just open a new wallet and transfer.
- don’t lose your keys! Store on paper or in things like 1Password.

In terms of advice on selecting a Bounty campaign, are there any general guidelines you seasoned vets follow?  For example, how big the pool is, the type of allocation, whether its going to be a "shitcoin" etc :-) ?  It's pretty overwhelming to look at these bounty campaigns and not know what to look for in terms of selecting which one to participate in....any quidance is appreciated!!

I would be aware that many of the bounty campaigns can yield good results, but also its important to note that not all of them will turn out good.
Its one of those things that your really not going to make a living doing as it will ultimately get you a bunch of tokens that you will probably dump on the market.
This really isnt doing anyone any favors. Its a fascinating concept though, and definitely a good write up

it is for signature bounty.. but some social media bounty has no rank requirement.. I currently participating in facebook bounty for an ICO..
So, I think it would be wise to join some social media bounty, while waiting for your account to reach Jr.Member rank which will be needed as requirement for signature bounty

Thanks for the info. One thing I noticed is that there are so many bounty opportunities it is a bit overwhelming.  How do you keep track of ones you are joining and ones you haven't yet???
For example, on the bounties page, there is constant posting by people replying with activities they have done.   So the list of recent bounties is 100 or more??? and they are not in any order?

Nice idea but as a bounty manager you must keep  records by creating  spreadsheets  or using notepad.  Know the time your bounty project will enlist on exchange  do you can enjoy the bullish trend as it enters market

As of now, there is a newly system that we need also to acquire, the merit system. Merit is created in order for a newbie to make a quality post and not spamming the forum. We need merits in order for us to rank up. We can say that it is difficult but we need to cope up.

This is very helpful. However, please do advise them to not use a username which includes hunter, earner, hoarder or something alike. Some of campaigns do not consider names that looks like who registered only for bounty campaigns.

But you missed a point that newbies can find low graded works still in google that pay out less amount

Increase your level on Bitcointalk. But that’s not a prerequisite to join some bounty campaigns. You can do content or social media campaigns too.

I'm newbie on bounty campaigns, I have question regarding facebook campaign. I recently joined in bountyhive.io. and after the bounty program I didn't recieve any tokens, takenote, I waited 2months but I didn't recieve any stakes and then I find out the reason.
It says that my facebook account is is not on public. and that's my question.
I try set set my facebook account into PUBLIC,  ain any aspects like,  anyone can see my posts and latest updates,  anyone can add me,  everybidy can post comments freely in my timeline and so on.

Do you think I make the right steps? Anyone please response into this.  I really need your hekp. Untill now I didn't recieve any token.

if the scam happens after the ico hits an Exchange we should be fine but if the team scams directly after  pre ICO round we loose our invested time.

Check this line in your Settings --> Privacy. It should be written Public here, as it is written on my screenshot below. If it is like that, then the problem must be with Bountyhive. Try to contact them in their telegram group.

it is difficult to know scam ico, but we can identify scam project from scratch by following the telegram group, there we can see if dev plays an active role in marketing that project, and we can see number of members of telegram

We cannot able justify based on the members in a telegram and team activity, we have to ensure about the code and technical through Github. Of course, up to money rasing, they will be active in all sorts of communications channels. We have to be very careful when investing into the ICO.

Good old summary but helpful. There some words that are mistyped that will lead people to ask questions about it but helpful enough to help newbies like me.

You are right Btc_1856. That's why bounty hunters need to check the ICO carefully to be able to see through the ICO's goal/objectives. ICO's whitepaper, telegram activities are not enough that is why it's hard to tell if an ICO is a scam or not. ICO that scam your money are the ICO's people behind are aiming to scam money and some ICOs are a waste of time and effort because their ICO is not successful.

I first look at the popularity of the project leaders and their achievements. I have no confidence in unknown persons.

This can also be a little unfair. There may be new peoples with great ideas that may create wonderful and useful projects that are not given a chance to prove themselves. But I do understand your point.

Produing constructive posts are not the challenge but getting merits is quite hard and its neededto rank up beyond Jr.Member
For Newbies Jr.Member should be enough and it will give you 50-150$ a month to rent out your signature
